the NRA (National Rifle Association) is so powerful that they will fight any law against the sale/carry of arm in the US, through lobbying etc... even if congress tries to vote against sale/carry of arms, it will never go through because NRA has majority on payroll to vote against any law that would affect them. as they cleverly states:"more guns makes the country safe"

here is a clue: NRA spends $250M a year to make sure no such law gets voted, through paying lobbyist, presidential campaign donation, senators donations etc etc, while all the gun control groups combined are lucky if they have $20M (combined) to spend yearly to ban the sale of guns.

the country was built on such notion, and i doubt you can now suddenly repeal a constitution that was ratified in 1791... sadly, this is who they are, this is part of their DNA, you cant possibly try to change that now. this will just create a civil war in the US!
