Health / Infertility And Fertility Treatment Options. Int'l doctors available 4 questions by MrCyril(m): 3:58am On Mar 23, 2017
Infertility and Fertility Treatment Options

Most couple with infertility issue find it difficult to fit into most settings of their life due to judgement by family, friends or the society. Infertility issues does not make one less of a person than the other. Sensitisation programmes should be carried out to further make everyone  understand that infertility issues does not make a fellow human less of a human, therefore respect and love should be accorded such people irrespective of whom or what the situation is. Some traditions label especially the woman a "witch" or "a man" due to her incapability, this that is totally wrong and unacceptable. Infertility should not be seen as a dreaded disease or a curse but as a challange, and those having this challange should be loved and encouraged.

WHAT REALLY IS INFERTILIY.
Infertility is when a couple can not conceive despite having regular unprotected sex. About 1 in 7 couples may have such problems and about 83% of couples will conceive naturally within a year. Most people with infertility issues find it rather difficult to describe or discuss the issue because they feel unwanted by their peers or family. This is due to the society we find ourselves in. The posibility of couples who have been trying to conceive for more than 3years without success being able to conceive within the next year is 25% or maybe less and this percentage may keep reducing if medical help/advice is not sought for.

THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF INFERTILITY;

Primary infertility is where there has never been conception by the female in the past or ever before or a male has never impregnated a woman in the past or ever before.

Secondary infertility is when there has been one or more conceptions in the past however there is difficulty conceiving/impregnating again.

Health / Health And Religion. International Doctors Are Ready To Answer Your Questions by MrCyril(m): 4:02pm On Mar 09, 2017
Religion and Health
Today we will discuss on a very controversial topic.

RELIGION AND HEALTH

Religion Has Affected Our Health Preferences And Choices in the different places we find ourselves both geographically and culturally.

Should religion make us prefer death and suffering instead of good health and happiness? I always ponder on this topic, why a certain sect would choose not to go to a hospital rather will consume bottles of oils and water for healing in the guise of a miracle.

Are medical treatments not miracles?
A successful brain surgery is a miracle, the fact that an intravenous drip is given to someone and they get stronger and healthier than the state you they were before is indeed a miracle.
Sometimes it makes one wonder, has religion done more harm than good in the understanding of health? Even the bible says that only the sick need a doctor, doesn't that prove that we need to enjoy good health by seeing a doctor when one is ill? The bible also says that "my people die of lack of knowledge", is that not also proof of how much God wants us to benefit from knowing things and being open to new knowledge? Everyone has a different religion in all parts of the world therefore beliefs differ, however a god who says u need not have good health or enjoy good health products could as well create sick creations right? If the god/gods people serve as they believe created them in good health, is that not a sign or a message that he/she wants the creation to be healthy? ...... akintom:
A yearly tenant, who is occupying a three bedroom flat in a compound, that has another three bedroom flat occupied by the landlord and his family in the same compound.

The tenant has 3 months to the expiration of his rent. The tenant returned from a one week try trip, only to discover that his flat had been opened and strange properties packed in.

On enquiry from the landlord, the landlord's wife replied by saying - "don't be angry, one of my children had issues with his accommodation, therefore i packed his properties into your flat".

The tenant then asked how they gained entry (there's no sign of forceful entry), the landlord's son said - "i tried calling you, but no network connection, i then got a master key to open your door".

QUESTION :

What legal action(s) can be instituted against the landlord by the tenant?
you can arrest the landlord and charge him to court for tresspass, breaking and entering, bridge of contract and some othet charges the prosecutor and ur lawyer can cook up
Foreign Affairs / Gambia: We Will Surrender, Gambia's Army Chief Says As ECOWAS Troops Advance by MrCyril(m): 10:36am On Jan 19, 2017
Gambia’s army chief, Ousman Badjie has said he would not order his men to fight African troops if they enter Gambian territory to enforce the December 1 polls.

He spoke on Wednesday, January 18, as Senegalese and other Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) troops are stationed on The Gambia’s borders.

The West African troops are on standby to move into The Gambia as President Yahya Jammeh approached a midnight deadline to step down or face military action after refusing to leave at the end of his term.

“We are not going to involve ourselves militarily. This is a political dispute,” Badjie said, after eating dinner in a tourist district close to the capital, Banjul.
He continued: “I am not going to involve my soldiers in a stupid fight. I love my men, we are not going to involve ourselves militarily. This is a political dispute… I am not going to involve my soldiers in a stupid fight. I love my men.
“If they (Senegalese) come in, we are here like this,” Badjie said, making a hands up to surrender gesture.
Meanwhile, the Senegal army spokesman Colonel Abdou Ndiaye said the Senegalese troops are on alert ahead of the expiration of Jammeh's deadline.
“Our troops are on alert… The ultimatum takes effect at midnight,” he said.

Thirdly, for a person whose office is on D-Line, what areas will be advisable to get a suitable accommodation in Port Harcourt that won't take me up to 20 minutes to get to the office.

Please I need your inputs to help me plan my movement. Thanks.

Push what? Op not sure you're a true Niger Delta. Either paid or impersonating.

Have you ever heard of gas flaring? Have you not been hearing of the cries of this people or it is the pipeline bombing that has suddenly saturate the atmosphere? This has been the key issue in the ND struggle. This is what the inhabitants had been suffering for decades past.

Go and ask Shell, et al to quench the burning furnace for one week and see if the sooth will still be there. They and then you blame the boys.
are u ok? Always think before you type to avoid embarrassing yourself the way you just did. I know comprehension is not easy but try your best to comprehend before quoting anyone. Some of us on this forum are responsible, hard working and comfortable, so know that some persons on this forum are bigger than internet touting. Did I say anything about being a Niger Deltan? I live in Portharcourt and am raising alarm about a potential health hazard/environmental pollution. My health and that of my family are important to me. This is an important issue to talk about and take to the knowledge of the concerned regulatory bodies, not everything is political. It's a disturbing environmental hazard, it's important we know who is responsible for this, what it is, it's effects, etc If u don't have what to say just keep quiet . Mind u am talking about PH city not Niger Delta. I have been living here for years, this is new

TROUBLE IN PORTHARCOURT CITY!!

Please, all PHC resident:
Have you all noticed
that thick black soothes are all over Portharcourt - even inside the homes- the sole of your feet is very black and we inhale quantities everyday.

Early in the morning your cars are all covered with the same thick soothes.

Nobody seem to be saying anything about it.

Please, my people, what is going on? Could it be that a company is messing up the environment so massively and threatening our survival and we don't seem to know and care?

I am worried.

Let's push this until it gets to the appropriate quarters for answers and solutions

Health / Re: Couple Needs N4.7million From Philanthropists To Treat Their Son by MrCyril(m): 6:38am On Oct 20, 2016
HydrogenPanther:
By Chinedu Adonu

ENUGU—PARENTS of Divine Emmanuel, have appealed for help from philanthropic individuals and organisations to help them raise the N4.7 million needed for the treatment of their three year- old son of a strange illness known as “bladder Exstrophy.”

Mr and and Mrs Emmanuel need help for their sick son, Divine Emmanuel The disease puts the stafferer in pathetic situation whereby the bladder is growing outside the abdominal wall, thereby making it impossible for the boy to urinate through his penis. To the layman, the problem looks like an open sore on his lower abdomen through which urine drops ceaselessly from the patient.

Emmanuel who had undergone two previous corrective operations at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, UNTH, Ituku Ozalla, even as the first one failed requires three more operations in India. The sore had been causing him severe pain putting his parents in perpetual misery. They said that the problem had been causing them sleepless nights, pain, agony, misery and depression as efforts to raise money for the treatment had been difficult. A medical report from the UNTH stated that Divine needs to undergo four more surgeries, including functional bladder closure; bladder neck repair; epispadia repair; and reflux. Divine’s mother and graduate of Mass Communication from the IMT, Enugu, Mrs Grace Emmanuel narrated the family’s ordeal since her son was born on October 24, 2013. “We discovered the illness soon after he was born. It was not something that we discovered days later.

We rushed him to Enugu State University Teaching Hospital, Parklane, the day he was born but they referred us to Mother of Christ Specialist hospital also in Enugu. At the Mother of Christ, they also told us that they cannot handle the case but that they had a surgeon who usually came around and gave us his number. The surgeon later gave us an appointment. “The baby was just a day old then. When the surgeon finally met us, he said that our son’s case wasn’t the first as they had been seeing it in new born babies. He however, said that the case could be corrected through series of surgeries. According to him, the surgeries would be in sequence. He then referred us to the UNTH, where they carried out the first Bladder Primary Closure surgery when Divine was a week old.

Successful surgery

“But, after one month of conducting the surgery, we discovered that it failed as the bladder started prolapsing again from the urethra.
We went back for the second surgery after six months because he had hernia then. The second surgery was successful but ever since then, we have been trying to get money for him to back for the first surgery that failed without success. I read Mass Communication at the Institute of Management and Technology, IMT, Enugu but now teaching in a private school due to lack of job. My husband, Chizuruoke is also a graduate of Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUTH, but now a taxi driver also, due to lack of job. We cannot finance the surgeries again,” she said weeping.

Mr Chizuruoke Emmanuel, who spoke also appealed to public-spirited individuals to come to the rescue of his son, saying that his taxi business cannot raise the money needed for the four different surgeries on Divine at India. “We earnestly beg Nigerians to come to our assistance by contributing towards the survival of our child,” the parents pleaded and gave their bank details as: FCMB: Name- Grace Sharon Emmanuel; Number: 3251364010. Or UBA: Name: Emmanuel Chizuruoke, Number- 2078001642.
