FamilyRe: My Husband Dislikes Me by mrde(m): 6:05am On Nov 09, 2019
amarachi06:
I have been married for 6years without a child. it has been the worst time of My life to be married without a child.

Anytime we argue, he will shout at me with scorn and hateful words but he can never speak to his family members that way.

lf l try to talk with him over some issues or advice which will benefit us, he will shot me down, only for us to suffer later.

l have tried to Know my wrong to him but he doesn't wanna tell me. l am in deep pains cos he has told me "that anytime l want to leave, that am free to do so".

On Monday, he came back around 12am, and l was worried till that time. He came back without explaination and l asked him, whether l am that invisible to him, and his reply was "if l am tired, that l should leave". l now replied, "if l have a child, will you send us out?" he didn't say anything but l know that his attitude is cos of that.

The day l had my Last miscarriage was in 2016, and the tears l had in My eyes was not about my baby but knowing that l will Not be loved again by my husband.

l am tired! l almost went Into depression, and sucide, cos of his attitude to me. l don't Know how to handle him, cos my presence irritates him.

Please Sound advice.
I Feel your pain. To be honest, we men really don't care much about children as such. The pressures are mostly mounted by external pressures mostly from parents. You said one thing and I want to draw your attention to it. He can back home and you engaged him in a conversation but you see to him, that's not the right time and I will assume you kept on talking even when he'd prefer to just have some peace and quiet which was what drove him home in the first place and that lead him to telling you to leave if you want. He doesn't want you to leave dummy lol he just wants you to give him space as at that very moment.
My sister, AC been married fours very interesting years now. We had to wait 9 agonizing months before pregnancy which was OK for me. But I swear my wife nearly drove me insane. I had to go check my self medically. My elder brother has been married for close to 8 years now. His wife has had about 5 miscarriages and they've not killed themselves. Are they sad? Definitely. Do they frustrate each other over that? Even if they do, not publicly and I admire those two beyond bounds. I can bet my breakfast that you have become so frustrated about the whole child issues that you have forgotten how it is to be that girl! Just be the girl! Not the wife, the girl. Don't mate with him, f***k him! Search for were you dropped him mumu button and rock his world. Do those things you used to do that got his attention. You once had a miscarriage so that's prove enough that you are not barren. Every man wants to escape back home to some peace, give him peace. And I bet you, one lousy quickie is all it takes. Your husband loves you dearly and it is annoying to him that even you feels he'd love you better only if you have a child

ManirBK:
Few weeks after the closure of the nation’s land borders, daily petroleum consumption had dropped from 60million litres per day to 52million litres per day, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, said yesterday.
Sylva said this when he inaugurated a team of 89 persons drawn from five key agencies to ensure transparency and accountability in the distribution of petroleum products across the country.

He said the team would help to authenticate the actual volume of products imported and consumed in the country and ensure that the nation attains energy security.

Members of the team were drawn from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Department of Petroleum Resources, Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, Petroleum Equalization Fund and the Department of State Security.

I believe up to this moment we are unaware of our power. Growing up, I remember hearing someone say if only 10 luxury cars are manufactured in the world, at least 4 will find themselves in African and about 2 will end up here. We have the purchasing power to be able to determine the world market. Being a consumer nation can be turned into something positive Afterall, a customer is always right aighthuh

sad sad Even though I'm a born again Christian, events like this makes me ashamed to be associated with Christianity and sometimes I'm tempted to join Islam. Majority of the bastards we call pastors are wolfs in sheep clothing. Christianity habours so many madness. No Islamic cleric has been caught in this sexual mess because they are guided accordingly by the tenets of Islam. Is it a coincidence that 3 pastors have been disgraced in few months and many more to come? Islam will soon take over Nigeria cos shameful incidents like this will make many Christians convert to Islam sad
you are not under any obligations to remain in the Christian faith. Afterall, it's a personal race. But saying you are ashamed because of some silly few, disqualify your first line because if you really are, you will remember a scripture that say look up to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. That's Muslims are mute about the atrocities committed by some of their Randy imams doesn't make Islam better. But hey, the choice is yours, Afterall, everyone will account for his or her deeds. FamilyRe: Ladies Breastfeeding Baby In Public. Right Or Wrong? by mrde(m): 9:05am On Oct 01, 2019
MiztaYouneek:
What is your opinion about ladies breastfeeding their babies in public.

I do come across many ladies doing that and its looks a bit awkward to me but who am I to judge when their husbands are not complaining.

I don't think I would love to see my future wife breastfeeding our baby in public just like that. I believe there should be better ways to do that than just bring out their breast anyhow in public because the baby is crying and needs to feed.

I hope maybe some ladies here can actually say something about this.
this is very interesting. From the comments I guess most of you are singles smiley when you are married, there are somethings that became less important to you for example, sexx. Trust me, in less than 1yr, you will realize even though it's important, it's not the ultimate.

Back to breastfeeding, there are flannels used or even wrappers. Infact right this moment, a young lady behind me is breast feeding her child decently. But there are exceptional cases where the least on the mother's mind is some curious fellow staring-something singles will never understand.

For the young men, let me give you a heads up, I took my wife for checkup in her last trimester and had to watch male doctor put his hands in her and I was like damnnn!!! One day, you'll stand and watch helplessly too grin

Christianity EtcRe: Can Someone Be A Witch Without Being Aware? by mrde(m): 1:59pm On Sep 08, 2019
daddymummy:
I have seen an instance where sb was praying for his problems to be solved.

Soon after the prayer, he became very weak.

One woman then revealed that while the man was praying, the man's spirit was somewhere fighting with some forces that were responsible for his problems.

That although the man was not aware of what was going on,he was actually engaged in a warfare.

The effect of the warfare was the weakness in his body.

The man was not aware that he was engaged in a warfare which he won.

And truely, the man's problems were solved.

That is why i asked whether there is another dimension of us that is unknown to us.
I certainly believe there's more to the mere physical. From both religion and scientific angles. To your question, I strongly believe it's possible. A clear example would be just thinking about someone who you haven't seen or talked to for years and then at almost that moment, such person calls. I also remember going to see my siblings at SBS Keffi now NSUK and as soon as I climbed the hill like road, my heart almost stopped. I have seen that place about 20 yrs earlier. I believe witches exist. As for there powers, I believe am backed by a higher authority. Happy Sunday
Christianity EtcRe: Can Someone Be A Witch Without Being Aware? by mrde(m): 9:21am On Sep 08, 2019
daddymummy:
I have seen instances when someone is being accused of being a witch, the person will sincerely deny being a witch.

But subsequent happenings will show he or she is the cause of some misfortunes although he or she may not seem to be aware.

Is it possible for somebody to spiritually ravage another person's life without being aware he is doing so.

Like say somebody in a family dies. In a church it is revealed that the man who causes the death is Mr A.

Mr A denies it and the denial is genuine denial.

A prayer is being said for the witch to die so that there will be no more death in the family.

Soon after the prayer, Mr A dies.

Is it possible that Mr A could have done wickedness against his family by using his spirit while his soul which has his mind is unawares.

As in, he is a witch without knowing.

This issue is more common nowadays.

Please if someone can explain this things to me, I will appreciate it.

Is there more to us than our conscious awareness?

Is there a dimension of us that is not known to us?

As is, can we be doing some things that are outside our conscious awareness.

Like i am here browsing discussing in nairaland with my conscious mind and awareness.
But in my other dimension,i am in USA helping someone to do something without being consciously aware.

In the case of a witch,he/she would be tormenting somebody in the other dimension without being consciously aware of what is going on.

Please and please, I will appreciate any genuine information on these things if you have one
The north east, it is believed that twins have some sort of powers. But the one that comes after them (Gambo) is considered more powerful. And often times he/she is unaware of such powers. I happen to be a Gambo and what am about to tell you, happened to me about 30 yrs ago. It was during the Christmas period so all of us went to the village as always. My mom bought chickens and told her sisters to give me the gizzards as I was not fun of chicken meat and she left for my dad's village while we stayed with grandma at her village. After frying, I went for the gizzards and was rudely turned away. I can remember not feeling bad, I simply went away. I also remember they were cooking rice but when I returned, I saw tuwon rice. Many years later, I was told that as soon as I left, the rice on top was cooked, the bottom was almost burning, but the middle was as raw as it was just harvested. So as the practice is, they would have food cooked from the neighbors and passed over the fence for me to eat, they will give me Ruwan kanzo (water from the unwashed cooking pot) to bath. But believe me I don't know of any such powers I possesed. How I wish it's true, I know a few people I for test runam on

FamilyRe: I'm Worried About My Son's Behaviour. Is He Normal? by mrde(m): 6:43am On Aug 21, 2019
jess2019:
My son will be 9 in October but his behaviour bothers me so much. He acts like a day dreamer. He has turned me into a shouting and miserable mum as I had to beat him after I've exhausted other punishment options. To make this short, I'm going to summarise his behaviour.

He still cannot get himself ready for school in the morning. Either he doesnt cream his body or forgets to comb his hair or doesnt brush his teeth. He forgets to brush his teeth almost everyday. This made me to make a list of step by step sticker. I sticked this on their bathroom mirror and on his bedroom wall. Yet I have to keep reminding him everyday. For example, last week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday he forgot to brush his teeth and hair. I have to constantly be reminding him every morning. He is the only one that brushes teeth after getting ready. I trained them to brush teeth first before shower but he keeps forgetting.

I have to remind him to do his homework, and put it back in his school bag to return to school on Mondays. The book will still not make it to the school even after constant reminder. We've lost countless of lunch bags. One ended up on school roof. If you give him any form to submit back to his teacher. He will forget in his bag so I now give it to his sister to give to his teacher.

He removes his clothes, shoes, pants, belts etc and leave them on the floor, I bought two laundry baskets for him. One in his room, another in their bathroom, yet all his belongings end up on the floor that you can hardly find a space to put a foot. I dont expect him to be perfect but atleast to try so that his 70% clothes make it to the basket or shoes to their racks. He also has a book shelf and desk yet they also end up on the floor.

He plays so much that sometimes he leaves shops with items in his hands. So I have to always watch out for him. Living in a western country where black boys are stereotyped I fear for him. He can stare at the ceiling for hrs when getting ready for school or spend long time in the shower yet not using soap on his body. This usually makes us late unless I step in to help or keep shouting.

If you ask him to do any house chores, he will not do it instead waiting for us to forget so he can get away with it. When grounded not to watch TV, he will still do it once he knows am inside my room or busy with a baby.

Yesterday we revised all his lesson assignments (5 work books). I specifically asked him to put them in his lesson bag. I pointed at the bag. Now I drop him at the lesson only for him to say oh I think I came with old lesson books. I dont know how he ended up with old books in his bag. It could be he planned it as a way to avoid the lesson. If not I wonder how he will remember it himself as soon as I drop him and his sister as this is unlike him.

I've taken him to a doctor incase there is any diagnosis so I can give him all the help he needs but they said it's just his behaviour because according to the doctor he is smart academically. He is 18months ahead of his year level. So they ruled ADHD out.

Ma your son knows exactly what he's doing. He is super smart and is just trying to pass a message. My genius cousin during our primary school days was taken to a particular school he didn't want so he deliberately failed all the questions for the entrance test. But on closer observation, he failed intelligently. If the say 75 x 2, he'll answer 300 or 60 + 40 he'll say 200. He definitely doesn't want something and no one is being attentive so he pretends to be dumb. But that kid is the exact opposite of what he displays. Find the button and you will be amazed. I suggest you try asking what he feels about changing his current school or environment and see. Best of luck ma
