Please everyone, I had a little above 290 in UTME, I previously registered with OAU, but thinking of changing to UNIBEN cos OAU will be merging sets ( which reduces chance of admission), I'm vying for medicine and surgery, please do you think I will be safe with UNIBEN ( I know UNIBEN is also competitive). But will I be able to make up with my post UTME or it's just a no go area. Please other recommendations will also be appreciated. Please help me ooo

This year has been a thorn in everyones flesh and just like everyone else I'm also tired of it.
I put uniben as my first choice in jamb hopely to study law but my jamb score is too law. I score 268 and the university cut of Mark is 270. At first I thought it didn't matter until I got to know that it matters a lot. I want to buy change of school form to fill in delus but I'm being told that they will not accept my request to study in their institution,that they will see it as if am picking them as second choice.

First of all, learn your circle well and know the important periods within your circle and the number of days in your circle.

Women show different signs on their ovulation day. You may feel a little feverish, run temperature, feel a sharp sudden pain on either side of your lower abdomen etc.

After determining your ovulation day, it's best to have intercourse just before the release of egg or after, if you're looking to conceive a boy. 12 hours interval is ok. This is because the X-chromosomes ( for boys) moves faster and die faster too. I think they live for 24hrs. While the Y- chromosomes can linger for upto 5 days.

When you have intercourse just before or after your ovulation (release of egg onto your fallopian tube), you're most likely to conceive a Male child.

I have always wanted to write about this but I have been procrastinating but here I am today writing about it.

Firstly I am a Human Chimera (Twin Chimerism),we are quite rare,many people have no idea what it's about but I am going to write about it,I can't do that in one day but I am going to do it by starting today.

A chimera is essentially a single organism that is made up of cells from two or more individuals i.e it contains 2 sets of DNA,with the code to make 2 separate organisms. People who have 2 different sets of DNA are called Human Chimeras.

Chimerism is a natural phenomenon, a medical mystery that has not really been understood fully till now.

My mother was pregnant,as usual pregnant women go for scans to ascertain the sex of the unborn child and guess what? They told her she was having twins(a boy and a girl) she was excited. She got things for twins and all. Lo and behold,the delivery period came and all that,before I came out,it was a tug of war,they almost did a Ceasarian Section(CS) for her but as they were wheeling her to the theater I popped out,they did all they could to bring out a my twin but couldn't find any other child.There was no 2nd child,everyone was shocked,I guess they searched and searched.

That was when the confusion started,they said it was a medical mystery. They said I absorbed my twin,This was in the 90's though. I was born with a one in a million kind of birth mark,one part of my ass(which I cannot show you) down to my thighs and lower legs are dark in complexion and the other part of my ass(I cannot show you that too) are fair in complexion down to my thighs and lower legs,people who know me know how it looks like in reality. Below are pictures of what I can show you for now,part of my thighs,as time goes on I will add more lol... . I tried to bleach the dark leg,i tried everything, e no gree bleach...I kuku left it jare,I dey flex my thing dey go,anytime I wear a short gown see eyes of shock,people get shocked because I am not hiding my legs,I cannot o. Some people don't even have legs to walk,so I am damn grateful...Ehen before I forget,one leg is fresh and sexy for a lady and the other one is just normal ,I guess it's for my twin,since he was a guy. My big toe nails are kinda different too.

Please im putting this post here, my kid sister applied for Medicine and Surgery in UNN, her jamb score is 307 and UNN POST UME score is 327, aggregate of 317. First Merit List is out and her name didnt come out.. So i want to know if admission these days is not based on merit or is anything wrong with her scores.. We really need help as she has been crying since 2 days now uncontrollably.

If you know anyone in UNN who can help out, please now is the time because with the way she has been crying, i dont want anything to happen to her as she is so dear to our family.

I can send her documents if need be.

Yeah 1 million a month is just 2000 dollars which you can get via remote jobs now. Medicine is good but not to practice in Nigeria. The best thing a doctor can Do Is to write foreign exams and japa after studies. My mom is a doctor presently doing her residency and she earns just 200k. I with less than a year of programming experience earn more than two times her monthly salary. If my mom was a doctor in the USA of course only very few programmers can match what she earns. The best thing doctors can do now is to japa but to even japa you need money and government has stopped paying salaries for housemanship.

Your mum can't be doing residency and be earning 200k, that's not true.

If your mum is truly a resident doctor, let's say a Junior resident, she will be on CONMESS 3 step 2. If you add her call duty allowance, it will be definitely more than 200k. If she is a senior resident, the pay is even higher.
