I found out that, man! A woman can easily and quickly forgive a man who cheated on her than a man to do so.
Some of my buddies opined that men are polygamous in nature hence, the natural exception. I find their assertions quite disturbing. Because if a woman can forgive and accept back a man who cheated on her, so should a man.
A lady who was with us also said that even though men are the ones who cheat the most, when a woman cheats; all hell let loose. But if it's a man, no noise is heard. Why so??
The other dude was like, if his woman cheats, he'd forgive and accept her. But it's just for the fun of it. That he won't take her serious again.
So in the end, men cheating is somehow normal and acceptable. But a woman's own is a sacrilege and abomination.
It's the double standard for me.

I have had cases where the doctor writes a prescription that it was a pharmacist that pointed out that it was a huge error. At the end the doctors were called to order. pharmacists research and manufacture the drugs and know the standard doses better . The guy who needed help has a sore in the skin and not a heart disease. don’t forget
Keep on misleading the gullible ones. A sound doctor making a prescription error comes once in awhile and probably due to many factors, that does not necessarily mean pharmacists are better in this case. Pharmacists also make mistakes too. You can never be better than a Medical doctor in Pathology which forms the basis of prescription. Most times, you people make some corrections without even knowing the patients at all. You can never know the patient more than the Doctor. She said they've known each other befre she met me and they weren't dating anymore though the guy has been trying to come back to her but she just decided to keep him as friend according to what she told me.
So this particular guy again I saw him coming to ask of her in her house when I was there and I did not feel good seeing that guy. I had to leave and didn't pick the girl call for some time and she stopped calling me too. Though I know I'm gonna call her back when Im done angry and I was even expecting her to call me more and maybe I would eventually pick but I didn't see her call for a week.
So I started feeling somehow when she uploaded that particular guy pick on facebook and tagged it "my love." She uploaded it both on whatsapp and facebook so that I caN see it because I stopped checking her whatsapp status. When I couldn't feel okay anymore I decided to end the fight jokingly with her and it worked then I asked her after few days of settlement why she had to put that guy on her status but she said she did it because she saw where I also put some girls on my status and me putting love emoji so she retaliated with that because it hurt her.
We settled the fight and we agreed never to get mad at each other again. But just of recent I heard it from her sister that the guy I always see with my girlfriend has come to their house to see her parents and I shoudnt even waste my time with her or tell her. I was not okay when I heard that story and coudnt believe until I asked my girlfriend if she's hiding anything from me but she said No.
After asking her so many times she finally told me to ask her whatever I heard and I told her. She answered yes and I was shocked. Now the guy had gone to see her parents but my girlfriend said its nothing that she can't get married to the guy and that meeting is nothing, so I fell relaxed and asked her what we are going to do. She told me to impregnate her and then she will go and tell her father that she is pregnant for another guy and not the guy that came to see him. We had sex but unfortunately she didn't get pregnant. So she decided to tell her mom what's going on and how much she want me and her to marry. So the mother took her to her father and told her everything my girlfriend said that it's not the guy that came to see them is her husband that the main husband is coming to see them but the father changed it and got upset with them that why and what's the meaning of that nonsense, if she doesn't love the guy that came to see them why did she introduced him to them.
She recorded all the insults the father said and played it for me. I was so shocked and this girl started crying to the extent that I had to take her out that day to feel happy. She said she doesn't want to marry that guy but that guy had come with his parents to see my girlfriend parents.
Now I don't know what to do because my girlfriend said she will kill herself if we don't get married which can't even happen. Whenever I tell her to please let peace reign that she should go ahead and marry the guy she will get mad and would never talk to me anymore until I beg her. And sometimes when I jokingly tell her that I will also go and see another girl parent so that I won't loose at both ends she kneel and start crying not to even do so. If it's pregnancy you're looking for, that one is not hard. Bleep her at exactly 14 days after she saw her menstrual bleed and thank me later. If she doesn't get pregnant, it means either of you has fertility issue.

Get Pathogical basis of disease by Robbins. That's best pathology text according to doctors and medical students on Quota. For pharmacology, Combine Katzung, and Tripathi and maybe Linpicott
khingTony: -For pharmacology, Lippincott will do, actually easy to understand but not as voluminous as tripathi or katzung - For MMB, clinical microbiology made simple has easy to understand terms and illustrations - for Hemat. Hoffbrand/essentials of hematology is okay - I don't use a textbook for morbid anatomy (histopath.) and chem path.
ShahRukhKhan: Okay. Here's what I want to say and it's no attack on anybody. There's a big difference between goals & dream. If your goal is to work in health sector, then maybe don't consider only MBBS, try other sister courses too. Believe me, you'll end up just where you wanted - which is, work in the hospital. But if your goal is to be a doctor, then that's what you should work towards.
It's either you commit or you don't. It's either you want Mbbs and you chase it or you don't and settle for something else. There's no two ways about it because you can't eat your cake and still have it looking you in the eyes. There's no excuse as regards to studying Mbbs that you can't overcome. Is it age, is it money, is it the workload, is it the admission process? I mean, there's no new problem that any aspirant could be facing now that someone else in the past hasn't faced. Just look for novel ways to solve old problems.
If you want MBBS, you need to first convince yourself and not wait for people to convince you about it. If you can't even make decisions for yourself and you're still doubtful of your abilities at this point, then maybe medicine is not really for you.
I'm tired of people on this thread telling others that they are wasting their time chasing a fool's dream. I just excuse myself because I know such posts don't apply to me, but to the naive and fertile minds who come to this thread trying to find solutions to their problems, they can be dampening. & I won't waste a breathe of my time trying to argue with anyone or convincing anyone about whether they should do MBBS or not.

3LACK: My school Gombe state Uni(GSU) also took 10 years to graduate its first set of medical students, due to same NUC accreditation issues....They had to merge the 1st and 2nd set and graduate them together as one set.
I just wonder why its mostly the medical college that always have issues with accreditation, irrespective of the institution
No institution can start a medical college without NUC accreditation. The problem is Medical and Dental council Nigeria accreditation and that's the main accreditation that determines the status of a medical school not NUC's accreditation. Medical schoools are strictly regulated and there are different phases or stages of accreditation. An institution without full accreditation can NEVER graduate doctors.
Seyong10: The Vice chancellor of a State University in Ondo state, UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, UNIMED ONDO has declared that students, irrespective of their levels should dropout if they cannot afford to meet up with over 300% increments in tuition fee.. When a 300 level student of nursing department was contacted, he said; I have to do alot of menial jobs for the past 3 years to get to this level just to realize I will have to drop out of the school Soon, I am really depressed" This is a silent notice to parents who cannot afford the new fee structure to withdraw their wards.
One of the best decisions I made in life was not writing this school's post UTME even after paying application fee of 15k. Even with the 2 million naira they are demanding, the school doesn't have full accreditation and I don't think it would have it soon. Federal schools all the way!

I haven't been to any private medschool before so, I have no first-hand experience.
However, any school that is accredited to teach medicine is good enough. This settles the issue of "quality." Note that whatever that is not learnt during medschool would eventually be learnt in your practice.
There is so much stress in public schools. I'm not sure is the stress in private schools is equivalent. I doubt.
Another important point to look at is tuition. Of course, no need to hammer too much here.
Standard still varies. You can't compare UI standard to EBSU standard, apologies! even when they are both accredited. The kind of boss you'll learn a job from will always have effect on how much you know. Gaining admission is the Ultimate but the standard differs.

No hospital will reject anyone if they have the right personnel and facilities to treat such patients. Hope you're aware Resident doctors are on strike? It means reduction in personnel if there's any at all. Blame your Government for rendering our hospitals incapacitated.
Textra: Please, bed bug is actually one of my greatest fear growing up. I can't just imagine having it in my room back then due to people experiences... The shame, if it follows me outside. Lo, and behold, I can't really say how it got it into my room. My fear has turn to reality now... I rented a room, clean it bought everything new, and after a year I allowed a friend to stay with me, whether it was from him or I got it somewhere else I don't know, but i am dying inside seeing it, I have tried all that I know... Killing it alone makes me wanna vomit... Please, what should I do, to eradicate this enemy.
One of the landmark achievements of my school in recent years.. The best way to get rid of bed bugs is to starve them of blood and then make use of conventional approach. The conventional approach varies but the way my school did it back then was that after vacation, the whole hostels were fumigated and prior to resumption, it was made mandatory for every student to buy mackintosh to cover their bed as the bed is the main habitat of bed bugs...And for over two sessions , I've not seen a single bed bug... My advice for you, buy thick mackintosh to cover your beds and your chairs and with time,bed bug will be a thing of the past.
Chemicals can NEVER eradicate bed bugs totally... When you're buying the mackintosh, buy the thickest type.
