Most BB owners in Naija only do facebook and BBM, and never use the feature around which the device was made: push email. RIM should make a cheap BB for Naija which has only BIS and BBM. It will sell like hotcake here.

i remember those days when i had to stay awake all night cus i want to update one yeye OS on my nokia but it a very different case with the bb, updating my device didn't take up to 30mins to finalize . .(OS size of 100mb plus o)  and mehn the he fast pass Hussein Bolt now and  i was under the impression that my airtel service book might get wiped b4 but to my surprise all my data, apps even bbm contact r al intact after d upgrade.

Dude i'd suggest you maintain the (7,500/month for 6gig) status quo, Glo's (2,800/month) bb plan has a 1.5Gig limit except u dnt mind

Its all good,  I am not against BB,  Just not worth its price,  I guess that must be BB Touch ( N86000 ) Vs E72 ( N45000 ),
What if it becomes BB Touch ( N86000 ) Vs N8 ( N80000 ) OR BB Touch VS Samsung Galaxy tab?

IMHO, the price tag for getting a smartphone ain't suppose to be the issue specially if its stable and with a good battery life. I once had a nokia N97 and a Windows Mobile phone (htc snap to be precisely) and both battery were horrible but switching to Blackberry was the best move I've ever made! i recently got bb torch'd n it battery is really amazing so even if i ever wish to upgrade my current phone then it would definitely be another Blackberry after enjoying it stability, its nice battery life nd of course the multitasking is perfect too!. . . I might buy an iPhone or Android as a 2nd phone but I'd never throw away my BB!

Simple question,  U were attracted to it because of its internet policy,  ( That is just a service ),  BB is a device that work with BIS ( Which is the point of attraction ),  Minus the service, the device is not worth using,  Say the truth

nah man as for me, without an active BIS my bb head still dey there, at least to my satisfaction it does all what i need in a phone:
(1) it plays .avi movie formats unlike wen i was using em nokia phones E71, E73, E75, N95, N96, N97 etc to name a few, i had to relay on smart movie n other applications to be able to watch em movies




(2) one other thing i like abt the phone is it sound quality rated TB. ~tor bad~
