..Your Joe yorubakwe is a cowardly clown by the way. That's the problem, anyone that disagree's with the god of IPOB is a yoruba or fulani. Hence, i can't even engage you in a debate. I think i understand why Igbokwe gave terms. You argue logically and not emotionally, if you will be able to bring facts without insult or hatred then we are good. Just in a response to a post, you have already started insulting someone. Does it make sense? Thank you for your time. I know that your next response might be with insult to me |

I will like to listen to this debate.
Personally, I think Kanu built most of his foundation with hatred and hate speeches. It will be hard to clear that.
Secondly, Kanu and his team used lies and other things to gather their supporters. Lies like Donald Trump issue and so many other irrelevancies that field the air.
I was shocked in Enugu when some of his supporters told me that when Kanu visited Anambra state that 19 countries sent their delegates. Another one said that Kanu has the biggest oil company in France and the like.
Personally, I can defeat Kanu in any organized debate |

This isn't hype. Their records are well known. You mean they can compete with a graduate? If yes, graduates of which school and which department? I know some secondary school are good. See, grading a school should not be done based on how well the students speak english or how they have been exposed to the use of modern equipment. |

Because you may not have left Sabon gari. if you will agree, most person born in Sabon gari can't speak Hausa. They really live there to other places to have an overview of what is there. Believe it or not, igbos and other tribes remains a minority, about 0.5% of the population of Kano. |

Gerrard59: You are a rarity. I gave you stats, the lad was the only Physics student (Over 20) who chose it as his first choice. The rest were there because the school 'gave' them Physics. Guess what they applied for initially? Engineering disciplines.
Yes, I agree that Physics is the bedrock of engineering. However, most Nigerian students do not know that or care to know. They believe a Physicist will likely become a teacher and an only engineer is needed in highly technical positions. Most Nigerian students are unfortunately not explained to career choices when they leave secondary school (It is changing tho). Which is why persons will just accept a course to 'leave home' and 'obtain a certificate'.
I'm not downgrading Physics (heck, if I was exceptional in Maths and Physics, I'd have studied it). However, stats prove this OP's post correct.
Another example....a friend's sister chose Civil Engineering as her first choice. Unfortunately, she did not get it, guess what? The school offered her Physics, which she accepted and is in her sophomore.
Does that mean she cannot have a career in a field where engineers hold sway? No. That is what the post is implying. Alright. UNN used to do that most of my classmates applied for engineering, guess what? those that did didn't do well in physics. Now, if you didn't apply for Physics, no one takes you serious. They are few in the department though which is the best for the course |

Jarus: How many top secondary school students choose these courses?
Most students end up studying them because they weren't able to get admission for engineering.
That's the underrating. That is the point. They are not well informed. Nigerians select a course they don't have passion for, one they feel will fetch them job. The truth is that even medicine graduate still earn less than 50k a month. That is the hard truth many do not know. |

Gerrard59: How many Nigerian students VOLUNTARY opt for those disciplines as first choice? Most persons who study(ied) Physics applied for Engineering and because they were not given, opted for Physics. Ditto Mathematics. I know a school where in her Physics Department, everyone expect one chose Engineering during their application.
This post is saying you can have a career in the same fields as the engineers. Why do you like making noise. I applied physics first choice. Explain the bold sentence. Do you know that physics is engineering and engineering is not physics? Currently, solar physics is being done under physics department, in the future, an engineering department called solar engineering will come out. So how does physics depend on engineering. |

I have stayed in both Sabon Gary and can tell you that Igbos and other tribes are surrounded by Hausa people. Even in Sabon gari, you will still see hausas control some things. For instance, the mosque in Sabon gari commands heavy crowd. On fridays, they block roads coming from park to the most and the one coming from the main market to the mosque. teelaw4life: I only looked at it fro the angle of writing an article. I charge a fiverr for a 700 word article. Unique, plagiarism free and grammatically sound. He has to strike a balance or risk scaring the client away, also, being a very new seller, his main concern at the moment should be getting good reviews and more orders. Wisdom is profitable to direct. You have a point. As a starter, he got such work because the client was looking for a cheap way to execute such project. If the guy is looking for a review, he should do it with 500 words article and thereabout. To me, i have written such number of pages eBook for non fiction books, how much more for novel. Because it is a novel, the source of information is probably coming from him. The work is not going to be easy. I have rejected all story eBooks. They keep coming and I keep rejecting them. On one occasion, the client told me he would pay twice my gig price for a story, I rejected it still. If I was the OP, I will reject it, but since he has accepted to write it, then he should do the conversion for N60000 and send him the dollar equivalent. That would be the cheapest price the client could get anywhere. 1 Like |

Okpuamu: I plan on charging $5 for 1000 words. I'm guessing 150 pages should be over 50,000 words. Would $750 be okay? First I do not know why you choose to write novels. I would ask suggest you stick to non fiction books. I just hope you will get the vision of the client, 150 pages novel isn't a small work. I have written a 220 pages book on Haiti but it's on politics and there was no need to check for plagiarism. Also the client wrote 72 pages of the work before asking me to complete it to 200. Even at that, it wasn't easy. Therefore, If you are sure you can write it, then charge him nothing less than $500. Please consider fiverr 20% deduction. 150 pages, double spacing, Georgia font size 14 will be about 32,000 words 1 Like 2 Shares |

Bigboyz32: Gather the nerve to increase your basic gig to at least $10. Clients will still pay. If you're bidding from the buyer request section, give the client a good reason why you charge $10 or more (you don't spin, it's SEO optimized, deeply researched, engaging, etc).
It works. Thanks. I will do this now. I don't spin articles |
