Zacharymo9:OK. send a Pm |
Zacharymo9:.Can your PPA reject you? |
This is something I have been keeping within me but decides to write it out today. We all know that there are many Scammers here, but that's not the real story. The trusted exchangers, how are they dealing with freelancers. Those seemingly trusted exchangers are same if not worst than the Scammers. I had some few funds to exchange, about $300, so I contacted one trusted exchangers who is leading one of those threads on how to identify Scammers. I was happy that I'm going to deal with nairaland real and trusted exchangers. So I got his number from his signature and sent him a message on whatsapp. I asked for his rate and I was disappointed when he told me that he exchanges at 305/$. It was then I understood what is going on in this business section. The real ones take advantage of it to buy funds from freelancers are an ungodly exchange rate. I have dealt with many of them and they are just the same with few exceptions. This is not a campaign for anyone just nairaland Tosinjay or thereabout gives good exchange rate and can be trusted. Egonne1 gives good rate too but not compared to the aforementioned. All those ones you see shouting good rates are the real Scammers on nairaland. I write this without mentioning names of such heartless exchangers that people trust with their hard earned fiverr funds. I was shocked when he told me that he even exchange at 290/$, and to think he leads one of those threads that Mynd44 pinned on business section makes me wonder who our real enemy is. Share your experience |
tshabalala:I know the feeling. Congrats. My first order, the client gave me $11 tip. I have received $44 tip. It feels good. I wish you the best in your journey as a freelancer |
LUGBE:How do you handle them. You shouldn't have insulted the man. He was removed from Taxify because of insult, do you know how many persons seun would have removed from nairaland because of insult? |
Pigsandidiots:That's the truth my brother. They know how to deviate the topic to score some cheap point |
MyNewJackeT:First the post is talking about the time Igbo language was introduced in South East and South West. Or do Igbos need to travel to get their language being studied in their region? What's hard for you to see than this comment that has nothing to do with the post. I doubt if you read it. The person that wrote it is my friend, he has written several Igbo books being used for both undergraduate studies and secondary school. He studied in UNN and BBC also use him to do some Igbo translations. The name is not uncommon to any one who just left secondary school or who did a course in Igbo language in UNN or south east. |
amliftedhigher:This is problem. Even the topic you couldn't understand. Is the post or the topic talking about the school Igbo language are currently taught? How many of them have Igbo department as a separate and independent department? Yoruba schools started teaching Igbo language long before it was initiated in east. Take time and read it |
prodigy24:Did you read the post? You seem to have comprehension issues if at all you read it. |
DO YOU KNOW THAT YORUBA UNIVERSITIES APPROVED IGBO STUDY YEARS BEFORE IGBO WAS FIXED AS A SLAVERY- SUBORDINATE FIELD OF STUDY INTERFIXED WITH OTHER DISCIPLINES IN A FEW UNIVERSITIES IN IGBOLAND? THE PROBLEM OF NDỊ IGBO: SOME SECRETS I MUST REVEAL. By Okoro Mark Ogbonnaya (Maazi Ogbonnaya) Some might claim that since University of Ibadan is the first University in Nigeria, for that reason, it is not something special if it was the first varsity to start Igbo studies in the Department of Linguistics and African Languages. That will also warrant me to ask, when was the University of Nigeria Nsụka founded? 1960, it became an active varsity. What then were Igbos doing towards their language studies back then? Okay. Some said that Nigerian-Biafran war prevented studies of Igbo language and other studies, but immediately after the war what happened to the Universities in Igbo land? Oh the university of Nigeria closed down? Was it not after the war that Prof. E.Nọlue Emenanjọ did his masters in Linguistics, with Igbo as a base language? Where? – University of Ibadan around 1972. Were people still fighting then? Was it not 1974 to 1977 that Prọf. Ịnnọ Ụzọma Nwadike studied Education/Religion/Igbo at the University of Ibadan? Was it not around 1977 that Prọf. Goddy Onyekaọnwụ studied English and Igbo at the University of Ibadan? Was it not around 1972 that Prọf. Nnabuihe Ugonna who had his PhD in English did his PGDE in Igbo Linguistics in University of Ibadan and swapped over to Igbo, abandoning English? Was it not around 1974-77 that Ichie C.C. Ekwealor studied Igbo at University of Ibadan? Was it not same University of Ibadan that Betram Iwunwa Osuagwụ did a program in Igbo? Was it not the same University of Ibadan that M.N Okonkwo did a program in Igbo? Was it not the same University of Ibadan that J. Onwuchekwa studied Igbo around 1974? Was it not same University of Ibadan that John O. Iroaganachi studied Igbo? If I should continue mentioning names, Mark Zuckerberg will call me a noise maker. What happened to the Federal University situated in Igbo land where its Vice chancellor was an Igbo man? What I called Linguistic-self-hate and politics caused it. Let me not go far yet. Do you know that University of Lagos began Igbo studies years before anything Igbo study started in Igbo land? Up till now, I doff my spec for Igbo studies in University of Lagos. Prọf Iwu Ikwubuzo, Prof. Mrs. Chinyere Ohiri-Aniche, Prof. Asoonye Uba Mgbemena, Prof Sam Ụzọchukwu and Dr. Bright Nnabuihe are key heads of Igbo studies in Unilag presently. University of Lagos as I am writing this now offers Igbo more than the University of Nigeria Nsụka people claim offers high in Igbo. I have studied the curriculum of the Igbo study of the University of Lagos and University of Nigeria Nsụka and see that almost all the course codes in Unilag are written in Igbo, while it is the other way round in Nsụka where a lecturer will be teaching an Igbo course in English. Now what is the problem? University of Ibadan began to offer Igbo in 1972. From 1979/1980 academic session, Postgraduate studies had already exist. A full degree programme for Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Igbo began too. In 1974, the University of Lagos, Akoka started Igbo programme as a proficiency and functional language. In 1975, it was stepped up to 100 level courses, and from 1979/1980, session the degree programme in Igbo started. The postgraduate studies started shortly after this. Coming to the University of Nigeria Nsụka, Igbo was never given a deep respect just as other western universities. Renowned Igbo linguistics like Rev. G.E. Igwe and Dr. O.O Okoroafia taught Igbo in the Department of Languages. Society for the Promotion of Igbo Language and Culture fought for Igbo to be regarded in the University of Nigeria, Nsụka. Through the fight of SPILC, sub-department of Linguistics/Languages in the Department of Languages graduated the first set of Linguistics and Igbo in 1978. Remember that Universiy of Port Harcourt started Igbo programmes in 1977/1978 session, running masters and PhD in Igbo. Imo State University started Igbo program in 1981. University of Ilorin are poised to start Igbo programme in 1978, but financial constraint posed a problem. Alvan Ikoku College of Education began Igbo program in 1974. Anambra State College of Education in 1978 began a full-fledged Department of Igbo Language and Culture. In 1978, Federal Advanced Teacher's College, Okene, Kwara State began Igbo courses. In the 1981/82 academic session, the Anambra State Government opened Eha-Amufu College of Education and Nsugbe College of Education and all run department of Igbo. Federal College of Education, Pashin, Plateau State; Federal College of Education, Obudu, Cross River State; Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, Ogun State; Federal College of Education, Azare Bauchi State, etc began Igbo studies. SPILC and the 1979 constitution which implies that three Nigerian major languages must be taught, made it possible. University of Nigeria Nsụka used English to teach Igbo until 1988 when Professor Nwadike came into the services of the varsity and changed it. University of Nigeria Nsụka promised SPILC to establish the Department of Igbo Language and Literature as they requested in 1980/81. SPILC wrote several memoranda to this institution to start a degree courses in Igbo. It is a perplexing issue that the University of Nigeria Nsụka situated in Igboland, headed by an Igbo man as VC and run mainly by Igbos gave the society a precondition– that is endowing a chair at the cost of N30,000 annually for the first 10 years. Condition before their own language would be appreciated and honoured. We are talking of Igbo language, not Hausa or Yoruba. The question is: how many chairs were endowed by Igbo people when in 1972 and 1974, the universities of Ibadan and Lagos, all in Yorubaland respectively started Igbo studies in the degree courses? Despite thousands of books SPILC donated to UNN, nothing happened. Today is 5th August 2017, University of Nigeria Nsụka does not have Department of Igbo. Igbo is mistakenly attached as a slave pressed to ruin in the Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages, UNN. Ndị Igbo which way my people? Until we know that we contribute quota to our problems, some will continue blaming others for their shortcomings caused by "oke amamihe". The problem of an average Igbo man is "linguistic-self-hate". |
rosyandchic:Well basically I no longer write, I do that when I have free time in the office. I have someone that write for me. When I write, I do it manually by researching and rewriting the article. I have done it and it's not hard. I wrote for someone for four months and when I entered fiverr, I already knew the business and I have helped someone stand on fiverr. I reject jobs and I refer it to friends, my gigs are featured on the front page so I get constant contact. So what you should do is to make sure that you used the right key words. Frequent the buyers section, monitor when they update it and send offers. It's hard to start but when you take it as your business, it begins to earn you money. Secondly, work comes in different areas of life. You can write on any topic, Just know that everything you need to write is online. To start with, you need to be smart. |
bellotaofeek:Bad guy. Only when you don't trust such a person. Anyone who is not faithful in money issues will live a short life |
[quote author=Risingphoenix12[/quote]Just read till this point. As a physicist, We have seen that this world is so complex, humans becoming very complicated to deal with. Unfortunately, you have sealed yourself in a marriage with evidence of ever been committed. Your choice at this point is the only way out, people contributing is just a suggestion which you might choose to consider. I suggest taking up some academic program. I don't know your level but I suggest you take up some philosophical courses. One that can make you ponder about life. What is happiness, will you ever be happy even in divorce? or will it lead to a force happiness and loneliness, depression and lots of thoughts to yourself. I would want you to devote the remaining part of your life to think deeply about life, teach people about life. Take a look at marriages and how they are collapsing day by day and suggest to us the way out. Its not enough building up diaries of your experience, its only enough when your kids could see the sacrifices you have made for the unity or dissolution of your family. The extent you reached and you couldn't continue any longer. I look forward to seeing you contribute to marriage and its great success. The sacrifice you could not make might be the turning point of peoples relationship. Even in his state of complete inabilities, Stephen Hawkins is doing enough in his contribution to the technological advancement of this world. You can do so to the family section. Think about this world, the origin, the future, the true meaning of life, what it ought to be. Just devote your time to think out solutions and not depression. |
Fingerprinter:I dey tell you. He is looking for clients. I was shocked. Imagine, 5k words $20, when I write 1000 words for $25. |
rosyandchic:What do you need? |
Fingerprinter:Lol, I dey tell you. I referred a client to ATM. I tried visiting his gig, bros, the guy said he writes 20000 words ebook for $60, 10k eBook for $30. Those cheap gigs do not work. |
tunnypop:Before I started, I saw so many books on fiverr. In fact, they just got me tired. But if yours is good, then people should use it. Someone helped me, we just took one of these threads on nairaland and read up till the 10th page. We helped each other and we were good to go. @fingerprinter, lol, we started same place and I thank God for where we are now. |
georgeben205:You can use Payoneer card. That's what I use. Secondly, these exchangers on nairaland can help you to withdraw with PayPal. So use any of them and you are good to go. |
Its not in the nature of women to be happy under such marital condition. Even in Islam where men are allowed to marry four wives; when the man takes a decision to get a second wife, the first wife becomes angry. So i doubt this news |
When the rich marry the rich, the poor will marry the poor. And the society continue in its circle |
peepydelano:Seems you don't know how women analyze things. You don't know when it happened and when she posted it. She did not state everything and how it has been going in the house as we speak. So you never can tell what is going on. Stop talking for likes and be matured. Do you think the man want the marriage to end? It is normal for him to put up a defensive attitude even when he knows he is wrong. |
laurelbae:You might be the divine help you are looking for. From experience, the only solution is how you take your life. This world is complicated and hard to understand. Decide to be happy, avoid anything that can get you angry. If there is anything you are passionate about, take a break from it. Then eat good, take fruits, do regular exercises. I do not know what you are passing through, but don't take this life too serious. Depression is real, I have experienced it till it built me up. I have passed through one of the most devastating problem anyone could pass from in this life. I didn't allow anyone to notice, at all times I have been strong, hard working, smart and hard a supporting family. Even the rich also cry, thats the truth. Get books and read, listen to music, avoid things that will make you emotional. Life has no law, the graph of time is not linear. You can't predict anything. It will be well |
amazinghope:I think i need a service of a writer but don't trust your comments from what I have seen above. I sent a mail anyway |
peepydelano:As a man do you think the husband meant the word? You join women to take everything serious. The man was caught in the act and he must have seen himself a coward to have ventured into such, and as a way to remain in control of his home, he reacted that way. Trust me, the man is very sorry of his action. Don't join all these nairaland women think out things that do not exist |
midehi2:I got you but the point is that most ladies here do not understand the whole thing. I see the ladies think like women and assume to be a man too. where is the 30% of men? you seem not to understand. only 0.1% of them are out there which I am one of them. Stop telling me how men feel and how they are. Women too have their problem which might not be related to sex. The whole women issue is a big problem on its own. |
Good one Mr. President |
midehi2:I don't know how you might see it but most times it is true. 99% of men cheat, I'm not yet married so I do not know if I cheat too. Everything is complicated and OPs husband was very wrong in his statement. We are changing this world faster than how nature wants it to change. Do you know that the only sin of some men is just sex? Ladies are the most complicated being on earth and to tell you the truth, most men don't want to get into that sacrifice that comes with marriage. I am a man and I do not care what all these fake guys come here to say just to get likes. There is a tendency for men to cheat, I have seen faithful men and I will like to be one when married. |
kowema:Hey, can I have your attention? |
Sagay212:Lol, there is nothing those guys don't believe. They feed up to their grass root with lies. Me, I heard that Donald Trump fixed August 11th as referendum day in Kano |
ibe123:Alright rich man. One thing you should do with your rich Nnamdi kanu is to conduct a referendum. |
enemyofprogress:Lol, some of them won't agree. Its better he conducts his activities within east where he has thousands of followers. Going elsewhere especially north or yoruba is not a welcomed development |
