GreatResearcher:What does the @emboldened mean? |
This guy. You need to give them(Army) seuns email to reveal their account info. |
Waterview:If I say anything about football, bro, just know it's a lie. I have no knowledge on even how to get into get started. |
beejay16289:Lol, you are welcome bro. , we mustn't win always. Sometimes, we need to lose. That is the democracy of life, and we are to accept all of them with open mind. ![]() |
She was only interested in helping you to get up from your bad attitude and bad reputation. How could you drink and go to work, meaning you get high every morning before going to work and yet you expect any sane lady to marry you? Bro, it doesn't work that way. She was shocked at how you were able to get the work even with such attitude. And your colleagues must be speaking bad of you that she doesn't want a young man at your age to be seen that way. Truth is, she knew you are bad and you have a bad reputation. She was just an angel investor who really wanted to change you. Your first goal and milestone is to stop those silly workplace attitude before the end of first quarter. How productive are you in your unit with such lifestyle. That's why people really want government job because it is a place you do nothing and get paid. |
You are just her sugar daddy bro. She won't even think it twice to dump you when she finds someone richer. You need no man or God's direction to know what to do. Because it is already very very visible to the blind. Why do we have to suffer these kind of emotional trauma's for ladies that clearly do not value us. Like people advised, focus all your energy in getting back to your feet. When I was in the university, I had most ladies do same thing over people who are already working. By the time, I left the university, things changed so fast, I went back to them, took my three points and left. In fact, I turned them to FWB while they see me progress speedily in life and regret their decisions. |
I didn't meet my goal today, and I doubt I will be trying again. Because second semester starts on Monday and it's the priority for now. While I continue with my celibate lifestyle, I guess I should inform you to always put me in your daily prayers.

Once you enter, you are expected to checking your card with the machine. You are supposed to do this because most often there's no one to police you about. But as a good Nigerian, I always do the right thing.

You hardly would see anything lying on the ground in any of the transport systems here. I haven't seen any. When you have any waste, you keep it to yourself until you get to the nearest waste disposal basket.
|
Maintenance culture is something else. The tram interior is usually very neat, unlike how dirty most of our transport systems are. For instance, one would find the interior of major transport company cars in 9ja very dirty. But here, the seats are neat because people do the right thing at all times. These trams are even old oo yet the interior looks great. ![]()

The rail lines/ways is not as complicated as me make it seem in Nigeria. It's just a simple construction that I know can be done in 9ja. Maybe the soil type contributes but, these guys got it perfectly.
|
The only fruitful thing about my fruitless exploration today is the lessons I learned from France management skills. These guys can manage 6 children with minimum wage of 30k. The transport system here is working perfectly fine, no doubt about it. But one thing one must appreciate is the way they manage their road system. When you want to study management sciences, then France should be your first choice. IF you google top management schools in the world, France management schools will be 5 in the first 10 schools in any list. The speed train, tram, road users, pedestrians use almost same way. Yet, they have never being any derailing of the trams or the trains. In locations where road users pass through the tram ways, the tram controls the traffic and everyone obey such rules. Once the traffic is red, no one moves, yet there's no police or camera watching anyone.

Dear France, Today is the worst Val. Experience ever. I am sending you this message with the strongest of words while also appealing to you that you should bless your boy with a loyal foreign Val, because body will begin turn to wood here. ![]() My annoyance is that, I will see a girl (black) and I will be very convinced that this girl must come from Anambra, but when I approach her, she will speak concentrated French that will leave me wondering if the world is truly coming to an end. Where are my 9ja people. You will see someone that looks like an Ibadan babe ooo, but the French she will be blowing is enough to remove your head warmer. Today, I went out telling myself that I must get a good FWB, and this time, I am going for the black race. Unknown to me, that journey is a fruitless one because there are no many Nigerians in Nantes and the ones in Nantes are looking for white guys that will extend their stay here. So let me deliver a judgement to myself MrPhysics, with every signs around, it seems you will be celibate for 2 years , now go and concentrate on your books.

Lol, Guys has increased their skills in this area, no amount of monitoring can compromise a guy who knows how to keep a clean slate when handling many kpekus. Some are just too smart to be caught. Some of us don't even touch the phone when any of them is around, we concentrate on the business of the day ![]() Sometimes, we engage the flight mode functionality of the phone. It's only ladies that take calls when they are with other men and are easily caught. |
Contumely:It's "expensive", especially one that is follow come. For Corolla, you can get the complete one for say 50k-70k (Abuja) depending on the area. And you need to have it in your Corolla to even enjoy the car in the first place. When I bought mine, I didn't check for it because it's always under the car. Didn't know it was removed. Those car dealers like most Nigerian politicians won't go to heaven. Anyone that have bought Tokumbo cars will tell you that immediately after Nigerian politicians, the next group of criminals are Nigerian car dealers. You have to look well, or examine the car well before buying, else, you will buy a shining car without knowing it's been repainted. |
cRobo:No, it's about the resale value. Almost all Corolla's have same resell value ranging from 1.2-1.4m for 2003-2006 model. So if you buy a 2006 model for 2.1 or 2m, and drive it for 1 year, you will most likely resell it for 1.35m. Now if you buy 2004 for 1.8m and drive for 1 year, you will resell for 1.3m. So, if you intend using it for a long time, then go for 2006 with better features. But for a short time use, it's much better to go for 2003/2004 |
Explorers:Where? |
Contumely:It's called Catalytic Converter |
Op, go for corolla 2006 model. However it depends on how long you want to drive the car. If you don't want to drive it for a long time, then go for 2004 model, you can get this for 1.7m and sell it 1.4m after one year drive. However, if you intend to use it for a long time, go for 2006 Corolla, a budget of 2.1m can get you that. After 2 years of use, you can still sell it for 1.4m still. However, if you want little luxury or a feel of seemingly big boy, then increase your budget and go for Camry either 2008 or 2009. You can get this between 2.6-2.8m (clean). Lastly before buying corolla, go with a mechanic and insist he check for what is popularly known as "Indomie". Those car dealers usually remove it and it leads to faster consumption of fuel. Also, the problem of Corolla's is faster engine burn. The engine oil burns and reduces. So most people that use Corolla always have to top oil. So your mechanic must check this. Regards |
maynation:Ignore them, until they push the guy into buying an almost dead but refurbished Nigerian used Camry. Imagine people saying a 2010 Camry is cheaper than a 2010 Corolla! Like Mynd44 said, the corolla of 2003-2006 is more expensive compared to the Toyota Camry of same year. However, anything higher than 2006 which is the Muzzle category, then Toyota Camry becomes more expensive than Corolla for Tokumbo. I am planning of getting Toyota 2012 model next year when I am back. By then the price would have come down. @mynd44,do you know if the 2012 model of Camry can come in 1.8L engine? |
Hadampson:Wow, it's an honour bro and the pleasure is all mine. I am just doing my little best. Why is everyone now viewing/reading as a guest? Is it a new trend? I trust you had a great day? |
themaestro08:Amen and you too boss. Thanks for keeping up |
chiboy429:Thanks bro, we thank God |
ranger123:Done. Check your email |
Rosella1: Thanks dear. I am glad you enjoyed it. |
ranger123:Thanks bro. Sure. Please drop your email, let me contact you. |
smartsk:Yeah, you need some shots? ![]() |
BelieverDE:Thanks bro. I am not really a good writer, I just try to do my best and improve my writing skills. Why not open a thread on Diary section, try to write on any topic. The purpose is not to have the best thread but to get started putting your thoughts down. Again, you already write well, just go into something that is deeper or little bit complicated. Warm wishes boss |
Hi Guys, Bonjour à touts ![]() So sometime in December 2019, we received an email from our school about an available scholarship for Nuclear Engineering Masters Student. You can assess the fund if you will be staying in France (so automatically, the Erasmus guys are exempted from applying). The fund is from EDF (EDF is the france Nuclear electric power generation company). However, there was a clause in the email asking those who currently have scholarship not to apply for the fund . I guess they didn't know who they are talking to . Me that is looking for money from all angles. A lot of people are waiting for our arrival and aside that, one don't need to return back with certificate and pictures alone. Certificate you don't even know if you will be using soon with the level of nepotism in the country. So when I read the email and the part that said we shouldn't apply if we are currently on scholarship, I did my ear as if I am a swineherd (she must be hitting hand in a tipper fully loaded with sand, Mrphysics can't and won't miss this opportunity). Recall, we are two Nigerians in our class, so we both decided to apply So we came back and decided to put up a nice application, telling them why we need the fund even though we have a scholarship , we gave them 101 reason while we need the scholarship and thank God the assessment is done in our school before sending the selected awardees to EDF and the lady making the assessment already knew we are on PTDF Scholarship (Because the Nigerian government is the only government that pays the complete tuition fee for NE, 24k euros, so they see us as coming from a rich country and would want to win more souls to the school). So last week, on Tuesday to be precise, we received a congratulatory message that we have been selected for the scholarship and that I would be awarded 4000 euros. They requested us to sign an acceptance document and also to forward our account number. The other guy got almost same amount 3000 euros. I think both of us got the highest amount. I nearly went to price our residential building . Free money is the sweetest, no exams, no interview, just simple application and N1.5m just landed like that. This is surely a win to my guys in Ogbete main market Enugu . So guys, get your knife, wash your hands and let's celebrate this.

Erasmus Students Network organized a party last week. Unfortunately, the Erasmus guys in my class has left to other countries but before leaving, they handed over the baton of partying to one of my classmate, a Turkish guy and a very good friend of mine. Before going to the party, he asked me if I have some c.ondo.ms, and that his own is finished. I told him I have, So I went with 6 (incase luck shines on us that night). Something shocked me anyway, when I handed him the 3 and he saw the diameter of the circular personal protective equipment (PPE ), the guy was surprised and he immediately told me that it's too big for him. I was like, what the fvck do you mean. He told me that I shouldn't bother and that as a black guy, he expect a big .... compared to his own and that the size decreases as you go up to the northern hemisphere . I have never heard a thing like that before. Anyway, luck didn't shine on us that night . We had a great time partying and dancing, however, I learned many things about the social life of the French people. Most French ladies are quite reserved. They don't want to associate whether you are black or white, as long as you are not french, their ladies don't want to go into relationships with non French people (Exceptions exist for some rare events of one night stand which most often goes in the favour of the black guys who they believe possess better shooting machine). I got very few pictures, about 2, others were personal pictures though.

Since I came to Nantes, I have lived a conservative life. Before I left 9ja, I prepared for a new life of experience and exploration . I aren't a jew guy (or so I thought). The period I stayed in Abuja was a whole lot of learning experience. I tried my best to find balance between work and social life. So when this opportunity came, I saw it as another time to take the social life international. Unknown to me, this school has a different plan, one that would push me back to my room and not only make me a "jew guy" but a jewish council of elders . I accepted my fate and have lived on for 6 months now without any social activities. So last week, I decided to go to the party and see what's happening out there. |
beejay16289:Lol, thanks bro. I am glad you enjoyed it. |
