EducationRe: 2020 PTDF Overseas Scholarship In France, Germany, China And Malaysia by mrphysics(m): 4:35pm On Mar 11, 2020
dharmhie:
Thanks for this. So that means, I have to pay for the processing fee myself to apply for the Masters Programme. Also, is our batch going for the September 2020 Semester Intake since the last one is July and the registration closed Feb 29
I am sure you know it works differently for different countries. So, these stuffs mustn't be written in black and white to be figured out.

France for instance do not run summer and winter program, whereas Germany does. So it is already clear that once admission closes for France scholars there's nothing anyone can do about it but provided you choose PTDF schools and the session hasn't started, then PTDF through their partners (Campus France) and the school international office can create a window (one or two weeks) to apply for admission. This also doesn't mean you can't be rejected, admission is not automatic.

However, for Germany, one has the option of summer and winter program. So your scholarship starts immediately you receive the award and you have admission. If the summer window is still open, and you can make it before the start of the program, then good. If not, you will have to wait for winter.

Hello guys, Please for those that choose UTP Malaysia and have applied to the school, please I need some help in applying. Did you pay for the processing fee? Or how did you by-pass that?
I can only attempt to answer this from intuition.

For now, I doubt PTDF have any strong relationship with any scholarship body in Malaysia or China. So any cost due to your application would be handled by you.

If it were Germany or France, one would be sure he will be refunded. Infact, provided its a PTDF approved school in France, once you have the scholarship, you will pay for nothing or get reimbursed.

For German scholars, they will make some expenses that Daad will pay later but France Scholars do not have to pay for anything as campus France handles everything about them.

Infact you don't need to leave your house to the airport with any dime.

Jeweltz:
Is it possible you change country ( from France to Germany) after being awarded
Of course. However, it's much easier to change from Germany to France than vice versa.
Only because PTDF sends German list to Daad and Daad can only shortlist the scholars sent by PTDF.

However, France process is more easy and straightforward. Scholars do not need anyone to shortlist them again after PTDF.

Hello guys, good evening.
I’d like to know, when I’m granted the scholarship, would it be solely for my first choice institution or I have the luxury of going to any of the three institutions?
Just get the scholarship first. It's the easiest for now (getting the scholarship). Except you are a UK scholar, getting admission is very difficult and competitive in the school PTDF will send you to.

Sometimes, you will even have to change course to something entirely new or even unrelated to PTDF. From experience, getting the scholarship is the easiest of all the process huh huh.

Congratulations to those who received interview email. Weldone and keep pushing.

I doubt there's any reason for Whatsapp Group until you have been shortlisted. Every country has a whatsapp group for scholars that you will be added to in addition to the one strictly for your year of award. So keep all information on nairaland.

Now, this is the last stage and you have to push for it. It is important that you read published articles on how your course of study will help solve the oil and gas problem in Nigeria. Your statement of purpose must reflect strong understanding of what your M.Sc specialization entails and a good level of motivation to carry on.
You have to rehearse it as much as possible so it can be part of you. The interview will be very short and you have to show mastery of your field and answer all questions.

This is even more important for those who will be having their interview in the university environment. Those lecturers will push you even beyond your limit. So, keep polishing your statement of purpose. Go with everything you have, don't leave anyone behind.

Congrats again

See how wrong u r? One of the justices allowed Ihedioha’s petition

The SC was clearly wrong or compromised or both.
There is no law that says they shouldn’t see the clearly fraudulent nature of the documents right in front of them.

Also notice how they carefully did not mention numbers in their judgement, in a case that’s all about numbers! For same reason they dared not mention meeting the constitutionally mandated geographical spread - because they know the numbers make no sense - the man gave himself more votes than there are voters! Same reason INEC dared not give the final tally of votes as they did in Bayelsa and all others - they’d be laughed at!
Lol, earlier this morning when you began looking for reasons to console yourself ahead of this judgement, I was convinced within me that you know the truth but was only looking for reasons to be biased and you found alot of them.

Ihedioha and PDP were just looking for a rerun not that they won or even got the spread in the first place. Even the mistake called declaration by INEC, he (Ihedioha) didn't get the required spread but it was right to you.

Bro, just be objective for once.

So far, every death from novel coronavirus in the United States has been in Washington state.

FTC!
I dedicate this FTC to the expectation the SC reverses that embarrassment of a judgement in Imo state.

But if the judgment is let stand, two things:
(1) U can no longer tell Nigerians that lying and cheating does not pay when they can see for themselves that the highest court in the land rewards blatant cheating and forgery.
(2) By the precedent set there, any candidate able to obtain INEC documents (usually ruling party candidates) can write any result they wish and the Supreme Court must accept those results no matter how fraudulent or defective they may be, inevitably leading to a one-party country
Lol, you are already preparing for your loss. I decided not to respond to your previous mention the other day until SC decides today.

Anticipate that they make reference to Bayelsa state judgment where they said they must be an end to litigation.

Wake up bro

You are on track, finding a kpekus before gaining admission means your university days would be pleasurable.

After yesterday's sermon, I decided to repent and not advise you to do evil. grin grin.

In my former self, I mean, as at last Saturday, I would have advised you to keep shinning the kongo because those ladies are not royal. Trust me, no amount of preaching or being good can save a 9ja babe from what she's decided to do. Now you are her fuckmate and that is who you will continue to be. If she has the intent of dating you, she would have done it already.

In Nigeria, men are more faithful than women. This is the unspoken hidden truth

Here is what I don’t understand about people like u: Can’t u forget having a sentimental favorite for a second, and just step back and broadly look at what it is u r supporting??
Can’t u see that if this embarrassment of a judgement is let stand it diminishes every Nigerian including you yourself? Because it blatantly rewards clear cheating and forgery that even kids can tell is cheating and forgery. How can u teach children about not cheating when they can see for themselves that the final court in the land rewards cheating and forgery?? Also, at the very least, it greatly reduces your ability to have a say in who governs u because it allows for any ruling party to “win” any election it wishes, which will inevitably lead to a one-party country.

A Supreme Court overrules all lower courts plus INEC in order to replace an 8-month gov with a 4th place finisher, all based on clearly fraudulent documents. And here u are, gloating about it!

Anyway, whatever happens, the leaders of thought in the country and international community are watching the case. They understand what is at stake and have made their positions clear.

Ihedioha Vs Uzodinma: Civil Society Leaders Urge Supreme Court To Reverse Judgment

BY SAHARAREPORTERS, FEB 11, 2020

Leaders of civil society in Nigeria have asked the Supreme Court to set aside its judgment pronouncing Hope Uzodinma as duly elected governor of Imo State...

The group posited that the court erred in its judgment and faulted the process through which the apex court arrived at the decision.
In the statement signed by Dr Olusegun Awe Obe, the Concerned Leaders of Thought and Conscience in Project Nigeria, highlighted reasons the court should not have pronounced Uzodinma as winner of the election...
Stop wasting your time and energy. There's nothing at stake. The supreme court will let you know again that No court on "Earth" will review it's judgement.

Maybe a Canada Court will

Weldone bro, you are completely correct.

My french is still basic, and communication is key to any conversation with anyone.

Most of the black ladies here are from French speaking countries which doesn't even help matters.

Must it be a black gurl? Why don't you like white gurlz?
Lol.

First, I have a white French Friend that I met one day in the kitchen (Which is the only place I meet people).

However, the notion about black guys from the French women's perspective (I think) is that we are only interested in using them to get "papers" or citizenship while having another woman in 9ja. I think this is why they become reserved except those what want big rod satisfaction. Also, the language is a very big barrier. It contributes about 90% of the problem.

Secondly, the closest group of people to make friends with are people from African countries. At least if you meet those from Ghana or Gambia, you will be sure to have a good conversation without having to use google translate.

Personally, I am not interested in any relationship especially emotional with anyone here. So what I desire is just the normal casual friendship.

Except if someone needs the energy of the thermal neutron in me which is about 200MeV. grin grin

Hey Bro. I think this is the way teaching works. You dont cram formulas. I'm also teaching a class here and we had the first test last week. The prof asked them to write the formulas in a plain sheet and bring it with them. People who invent understand principles not formulas. He said that they only want to test how they can use the formula
Sure. Of course I understand that bro. We asked the lecturer if we are to bring in formula sheet but she said No, that we are supposed to know those formulas.

We have written 2 exams that we were allowed to bring in textbook (the one given to us in class). However, the exams were divided into 2 parts. The first part, you are not supposed to come in with anything. But in the second part, you are to come with only the textbook given to us in the class.

So he was wrong to have brought in such which is evident in the way and manner he brought it in and used it.

Please, what are the guidelines for changing your course or school after getting the scholarship? Can you change to a course not listed by ptdf under a school on the ptdf list? can you change to a course listed by ptdf but to a non ptdf approved school? or do you have to change to a listed course at a ptdf approved school.

Also about the monthly stipend for UK students in non london schools, i know it used to be 1550 pounds monthly, is it still the same? And how much more do students going to london schools receive?
There's no guideline for changing a course or school. Once it is related to the oil and gas, PTDF will sponsor it. It doesn't matter what you were given. After you have been awarded, many things will change. All depends in which school you were admitted into.

I doubt there's any PTDF approved UK schools. They sponsor virtually all schools in UK. Lol. But for Germany and France, you must work with PTDF schools.
