Politics / Re: The Rise Of White Nationalism And Why Africans Should Be Concerned by MrRichmond: 4:40pm On Apr 02, 2019 |
The only thing Africans should be concerned about is developing the continent so they don't have to run away to other nations to seek greener pastures!!! You cannot come and be castigating people (the whites) who wish to protect their culture from foreign invasion under the guise of "immigration" Africa should desist from this victim mentality and focus on herself if she does this; it is the whites that will flood Africa as immigrants! STOP all this stupid talk of "rise of white nationalism" and preconceived racism! It's childish and backward! 10 Likes 3 Shares |

deomelo: So Nigerians should not talk about the herdsmen massacre that has been going on? Who is affected more? Is it not the farmers? Why wouldn't Nigerians be obsessed with the killing of farmers when their government refuses to do anything about it? For a metropolitan city of this magnitude, it is a shame that the authorities cannot effectively enforce building standards after 20 years of practising democracy! This is a very embarrassing recurrence and speaks volumes with regards to the ineptitude of the so-called jagaban of Lagos and his puppets. Eko ni baje o! God help us. 3 Likes |

Nairaland / General / Lagos Chinese Restaurant Responds To Accusations Of Racism by MrRichmond: 4:31pm On Mar 19, 2019 |
"Shi Shi Chinese restaurant is for gentlemen, not for everyone" — Restaurant Director A director at the Ikeja, Lagos-based Shi Shi Chinese Restaurant has said that the outlet caters to only gentlemen, rather than to everyone. He added that, globally, Chinese restaurants are never open to “every Tom, Dick and Harry.” The PUNCH had done a story based on a social media post that claimed that the Shi Shi Chinese Restaurant located on 21B, Emina Crescent, Off Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos, does not admit Nigerians. Our Correspondent who visited the restaurant on Tuesday morning reported that he was accosted at the gate by a security guard wearing Army combat camouflage and prevented him from entering the restaurant. The Nigerian security man told our Correspondent that he acted on instructions. SEE ALSO: We don’t serve, admit Nigerians, says racist Chinese restaurant in the heart of Lagos However, our Correspondent later introduced himself, and left his business card for the restaurant’s spokesperson when he was told that nobody was available to speak with him. The restaurant director, a Nigerian who introduced himself as Mr. Niyi Adegbite, called our Correspondent after The PUNCH had published its findings, and declared that, generally, “all over the world, Chinese restaurants are not open to every Tom, Dick and Harry.” He did claim, however, that the Shi Shi Chinese Restaurant was open to the public. When asked if Nigerians were allowed to patronise Shi Shi, Adegbite said, “Not really.” He then went on to make clarifications. According to him, there are two sections in the restaurant — a regular one and one that is strictly for Chinese. Adegbite said, “I want to debunk all the allegations. The restaurant is open to everyone. But you know, Chinese restaurant is not for every Tom, Dick and Harry. Nobody can just enter. “Come, and I will conduct you round the restaurant. I’m a Nigerian and how can I prevent my fellow people from entering in? But, of course, it’s for gentlemen, not for everyone.” When asked how the restaurant defines a gentleman, Adegbite said, “The restaurant is divided into two sections. There is one open to the public and there is one called Hot Spot. “The Hot Spot is where you enter and cook on your own. All the ingredients are made available. But it’s only for Chinese nationals. “Maybe it’s this one that some people tried entering and were disallowed and is now causing the outcry.” Our Correspondent maintained that he was not allowed to step into the restaurant, as he was turned back at the entrance to the premises. He added that he had only heard of two sections from Mr. Adegbite. Source: https://punchng.com/shi-shi-chinese-restaurant-is-for-gentlemen-not-for-everyone-director/ 1 Like

Voting based on issues will never happen in Nigeria as a whole until we force education on the North Buhari isn't going to do it, he benefits from the illetrates and poor people that roam his region. After all, he can simply share 10k to Placate them anytime he wants So we should be looking forward to more tribalistic voting patterns in 2023. P.S: I am really proud of my Yoruba people, we are very enlightened people, it's too bad the SS and SE failed to come out in large numbers for PDP. Sad! 46 Likes 5 Shares |

If you are current with the geopolitics, you'd know that Macron isn't favoured by his people at all... ever heard of the yellow vest protests? There is no point having a youthful leader who is out of touch with the needs of his people. Nigeria.... no! African does not need leaders like Macron who bow to the globalist agendas. We need nationalist like Trump who will fight for the development of the country and vehemently oppose our enemies! 3 Likes |
