TravelRe: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Mrsbebe: 8:27pm On Oct 04, 2016
LOL..yes He must rest abeg..lol..

Yes current and 1st job role meets financial requirement. 2nd job was like a 3 months contract job leading to his current job role.

Biko,I still need to understand the 28 days rule.

Hi, thanks for you Feedback, but his current job is the 3rd one and hr has spent only 3months.
TravelRe: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Mrsbebe: 10:21am On Oct 04, 2016
Hi Portsmouth,

Also remember the 28 rule for the final financial documents, I.E. last payslip/bank statement/employment letter to be dated within 28 days of application date.

Kindly explain this last bit as hubby is to provide one year payslip and we r adding september payslips and it is not up to 28 days as we r submitting out documents by next week.

And for our calculations. Hubby we are combining 3 jobs. We are using 7 months of the 1st job which was a monthly pay, 2nd job wich was weekly for 3 months and the 3rd which is month for 3months.

Do we need any further calculations as we just added up everything and it was above £18600.

Please assist
Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi all, jst a quick update. So i missed my biometrics appointment n find out after calling their contact center that you have to cancel the application n ask for a refund which takes 28working days for the visa fee talkless of the ihs fee. So if u dnt hv extra money you have to wait for that long before making a new appointment. So, my n hubby just started a new application form n He is going to make an extra payment while waiting for the refund.

So, am putting this up so that you wont make d same mistake that i did. Doing this process again is really tiring.

Hi MoAbs,

I think the length of the visa is fine. You can also watch the video on youtube on how to fill in the application form.

I hope it will be helpful for other parts as well.

Hi Guys,

Thank you for your response it was really helpful. I got married recently and have not done change of name (I do not plan of doing one to be honest).

Please advise;

1) Am about registering for the IELTS LifeSkills A1 to apply for my spouse visa but my passport carriers my old name.

2) Am I in a dilemma whether or not I should choose a miss or mrs title for my registration.

3) If I choose miss to tally with my passport will it affect my certificate in anyway ? If I choose Mrs my husband surname is not on my passport.

4) Will the absence of change of name affect my documentation in any way?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Hi Guys,

Thank You for all the good work you guys are doing here. I was lost but now am found. Please my Hubby is a UK citizen and would like to apply for a spouse visa and need your advise on the following;

1) Is it absolutely necessary for me to take the English Test as I am a graduate from a federal University in Nigeria.If Yes,where do I take the test and how much.

2)Can Hubby pay for the Visa Fee from The UK.

3) Is the health surcharge a must pay to get the visa

4) hubby is changing jobs and moving house next month will that affect our visa application in anyway?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Keep up the good work.
