Some people would say what is the big deal if he or she embellishes the truth on simple things such as amount of children or partners? I try to stay out of other people's business but when it come to my family and friends I stand firm. My friend is dating this dude who embellishes the truth. He told her that he was 35 years old and now she found out he is really 45 years old. He also told her he didn't have any children come to find out he has two baby mommas with three kids.

She confronted him and asked why were he lying, he responded that he didn't lie he just embellished the truth. Now, I know embellishing is adding more to what it is so that a lie right?

Even if you tell a partial truth with a lie, IT STILL A LIE RIGHT?

I wonder what else he could be lying about, because if a person can lie about something SIMPLE, what else could they be lying about?
