Not enough people are being tested, that's why the numbers are low. But also if there are more virus carriers out there, the death toll should have multiplied by now. I think I go with seun, our warm weather helps to contain the spread.

Below is an example of the mathematics tricks I talked about. You stand a chance of having point more than your equals in exams and quizzes. Let's solve this question.

This question is a question from topic surds. Let's say in the exam hall you were stuck up on what to do to this question, or probably you are not stuck but you have few seconds which you know won't be enough for this question. Here's a way out.
Let's go.
Just think of options you will insert into x that will make both sides L.H.S = R.H.S , any option that make left hand side equal to right hand side is the answer.
Let's solve this:
(a) insert (2) from option into x, the answer will be √5 , but √5 is not 3, so right is not equal to left. So (a) is not correct
(b) insert 3 into x we have. √7 = 3, √7 is not equal to 3, so (b) is not correct.
(c) insert 4 into x in L.H.S will be √9, waooooo, √9 is 3 , Yesssssssssssss correct.

Square both sides
1+2x=9
2x=8
X=4

We see the right hand side is now ye^y
Were the y is -2xln2 so this is omega or Lambert w or product log function format.

2xln2=Wz( ( ln2)/4)
x=(Wz( (ln2)/4)/2ln2
Were z is all integer.
Wz((ln2)/4))=4ln2
Substitute
X=-4ln2/2ln2=2
This is the correct one I even made an error in the omega in the initial work thanks for pushing me to solve again

I have checked through all the comments no one presented a mathematically correct solution.
They are all manipulations
So far too my knowledge only Lambert W can solve this type of questions numerically.

I was expecting one of the comments to prove me wrong.
But i just keep on finding mathematical error in each.
