Awwww! where do I start from. I want to say i am really overwhelmed, excited and so so happy to know that we have such great lovers of my family here on nairaland. To everyone who posted on this thread a very big thank you. When my sweetheart told me while still at the hospital of the posts my eyes was filled with tears of joy cos of the fact that people I don't really know said and wished us well one way or the other. I pray that God in His infinite mercies would grant you all your heart desires, He would not withhold any good thing from everyone here and He would also take each and everyone of you to greater heights. As you have posted to share in our joy so shall it be that things of joy would not depart from your families in Jesus name. As many that are single that wants to get married God would bring your ideal husband or wife and as many that are looking unto God for a miracle like ours God would give you your heart desires too. As many that are into businesses God increase your business daily and it would be announced to the whole world.

I am doing fine and baby Sienna is too. Such a cute little darling isn't she? I can't stop staring at her every minute cos its so unbelievable that she is ours.

My first baby is doing great you all know who that is he is my one and only true love. Don't know what I would do without him. Siena I love you as each day passes by and with our love we would also love our little Sienna too. Thanks for making me a proud mum. I love you Siena.

God bless everyone and thank you once again.

FamilyRe: Never Do This by MrsSiena1(f): 9:10pm On Jul 08, 2010
Well I believe that when you have issues with your brothers or sisters you can discuss it with your spouse without putting them down. And also you don't tell your brothers or sisters about some issues concerning your spouse. What happens between you and your partner should be your business and what happens between you and your brothers and sisters is your business too but only to be discussed with yr spouse.
FamilyRe: Are Marriage Vows Difficult To Uphold? by MrsSiena1(f): 3:35pm On Jul 08, 2010
Marriage is what you make out of it. Before getting married you need to ask yourself some questions important ones for that matter so that you won't get the wrong picture about marriage. You should be mentally, spiritually, physically, emotionally mature to venture into this great institution.

Marriage vows are not difficult to uphold if you are married to the right one.Its not just saying the vows on your wedding day that matters its keeping them and making sure you abide by them if you are in love with the person you got married to.
FamilyRe: Is It Proper To Make My Wife Next Of Kin? by MrsSiena1(f): 10:20pm On Jul 07, 2010
Yes it is proper to make your wife next of kin. Your wife came first before your son and besides if you didn't trust her enough you wouldn't have married to her in the first place. Make your wife next of kin and then your wife makes your son next of kin that way everybody is next of kin to each other.

That way the next of kin doesnt leave the family its all there. wink

RomanceWould You Choose Your Partner's Personal Assistant? by MrsSiena1(op): 10:12am On Jul 04, 2010
I have heard of stories where one's partner especially the wife or perhaps the fiancée tend to choose their partner's personal assistant and most often than not they pick ugly, fat and non-attractive ones so that their husbands/fiancé don't get tempted.

Would this bother you? And do you subscribe to the above?

RomanceRe: Guys How Do You React When Other Men Make Passes At Your Girl by MrsSiena1(f): 10:54pm On Jul 02, 2010
queeneve:
So it is customs for African men to get upset when a man make passes at his woman?

You men cant stop another man from looking at your woman nor try to make a pass, if you got a good woman why do you worry?

Why African men are so jealous and protective?
You don't seem to understand the poster. Now if the girl was all by herself in the restaurant or eatery and the guy made passes at her then there is no problem if she wants to tell her boyfriend that oh sweetie guess what I was at an eatery and a guy made passes at me the guy wouldnt have anything to worry because he knows the girl would have taken care of the situation. But this time around he was with his gf and the said guy not only stared and tried to uncloth his gf he also made passes at his gal which was wrong since he knew that the girl wasnt alone.

Such a girl should be grateful that her guy stood up to this guy and besides it wasnt as if he wanted to fight the guy he only asked him a simple question if he knew his girlfriend from somewhere. If I was the girl I would be glad because it shows that my boyfriend is actually protective of me that is why I am with him in the first place. Security in a relationship is very vital. Am sure if the guy just sat there and did nothing you would crucify him and say oh he is not capable to be with such a girl.

What more do you want from African men?

RomanceRe: Is Love Different From Infatuation? by MrsSiena1(f): 9:57pm On Jul 02, 2010
Sometimes it can be difficult to tell the difference between infatuation and love. This is especially true at the beginning of a relationship. It is easy to think that you have found true love as the intensity of infatuation takes over your life. Love, however, rarely comes on suddenly. It is a slow, gradual process that can only happen after the rush of infatuation starts to ebb.

So most times you have to be with someone long enough for you to know that you are in love with the person. Being infatuated is for a while and it gradually fades but true love last long. So get to know her better and if you still have the same feelings I mean love feelings then you are in love but if it is just becos of her physique then its infatuation.
RomanceRe: Guys How Do You React When Other Men Make Passes At Your Girl by MrsSiena1(f): 9:49pm On Jul 02, 2010
I think the gilfriend acting angrily calls for concern. I mean she should be happy that her boyfriend is standing up for her and also am sure he must have felt insulted when the guy knowing fully well that they are together was staring and making passes at his girlfriend that was the reason why he had to walk up to the guy to ask him if he knew his girlfriend from somewhere.

If I was the one with my boyfriend and a girl makes passes at him I would do the same seeing that the 'mumu' gal knows that we are together and as such no respect for me and goes ahead to make passes at my man.

Palava she dey find, palava she go get oh.

FamilyRe: Would You Have Triplets If You Can Choose by MrsSiena1(f): 1:57pm On Jun 23, 2010
Yes I would definitely have triplets if I can choose but after them no more babies. Lol.

Of cos it won't be easy from the start but as they grow older it would be enjoyable.

RomanceRe: Marriage Is About Being Lucky by MrsSiena1(f): 11:31pm On Jun 22, 2010
I dont believe in luck, I believe I am blessed as a person. Marriage is what you make out of it. You have to put some work into it if you want to make it work.

Yes to some marriage is not the thing and if you are that type then don't get married. I am enjoying every bit I mean every bit of my marriage because I married my better half, my friend, my lover, my sweetheart. I am not saying there are no ups or downs but when you understand yourselves you would pull through.

Most people get married for the wrong reasons and then they find out that its not what it seems. If you are with the right person believe me marriage would be sweet but with the wrong person reverse is the case.

Before getting married always go with an open mind. Marriage is not meant for boys or girls but for men and women mature ones for that matter.
FamilyRe: Best And Worst Marriage Advices by MrsSiena1(f): 10:25am On Jun 21, 2010
Yes some women are guilty of it. Before I gave birth to the kids my husband was there so why would I want to throw him away when the kids arrive?

Another best advice is believe in your partner's dream no matter how small it is
FamilyRe: Best And Worst Marriage Advices by MrsSiena1(f): 9:03pm On Jun 20, 2010
Hmmmm lets see most of the advices I got where not as much as people telling me but me watching them handle their marriage.

Best: Don't go to bed with an unresolved issue
Always compliment your partner both in private and in public
Pick an interest in what he does especially his career
Look for ways to help him succeed in life
         Never criticize him in public
Show him that he means the whole world to you
         Be creative

Worst: Don't tell him everything
Don't show him that you love him too much
Men are the same - they are not to be trusted
When you have kids it doesnt matter what your husband does your kids are now your husband

RomanceRe: What Is Wrong Hugging Your Ex-girl Friend In Front Of Your Girl. by MrsSiena1(f): 4:16pm On Jun 13, 2010
Thank God I have a stop watch with me I would have to calculate how many seconds the hug would last and if it is more than what I expect, I would rip them apart. Lol.

But seriously there is nothing wrong when an ex hugs your girlfriend or boyfriend. They can do more than hugging when you are not present. So trust your partner.
