Has the interview always been course sensitive? As per course advertised?
Were there applicants with unadvertised course at the last and previous interviews?

Good job.

I know someone that tried joining the army five different times and was unsuccessful,he got it the sixth time and today he is the Corp commander of a whole Corp in Nigerian Army..... Which yeye prophet are you, do God speak this way. God is not a God of confusion please , whatever you saw is for you not for another person, please let's take caution . And that oga always coming with yeye analysis everyday please keep quiet e don do, una no dey let us read again , people just dey scroll and pass. Better info go just come and go..... Abeg make we take caution, nobody is really anonymous on social media, reduce your negative comments about the military you post online, no go use your hand do yourself, I have said this alot of times, make we all take caution abeg.

Chan sir, any signal?

I don't know if I would ever make it into the army but if I do, I hope to give my best.
Having followed the happenings over the past years, from losing two cousins (a Colonel & a Lt Colonel), to seeing how soldiers and insurgents execute their captives, to seeing how our soldiers were shown on France 24 fleeing for their dare life's after been overpowered by the insurgents some four or five years ago.
I have come to realise we need snipers and am hoping and planning of being the most successful one if destiny prevails.
All the best to everyone, I wish we could all be commissioned this year.
Remember, he who runs lives to fight another day. Sometimes running (officially known as tactical withdrawal) is the best option. It happens everywhere and some successful war veterans have applied the approach. Even insurgents withdraw to regroup, restrategize and ultimately launch an offensive.
Finally, for those who will make it, if you want to live to tell the stories of sambisa, think like an insurgent and act like one in the theatre of war. If they give us guerrilla tactics we give em back the guerrilla style because sometimes what we would learn at jaji and Kaduna no go add up for North East and West.
Victory is from God alone.
And in him we put all our trust.

Without comitting any offence, the mods just decided to abruptly suspend me from this thread.
Even though i rarely comment nowadays, do they know how painful it is to be deprived of ones fundamental nairaland right.

HOW IT WENT DOWN IN EBONYI STATE YESTERDAY
I asked my cousin to submit my c.v at DSS office in Abakakili on Friday. After he submitted it, he called me to inform about me what the person collecting it told him.
"Bros, the exam na tomorrow by 7 am. How e go be?"
I was in portharcourt , infact I was on a roof top, mounting solar panels when the call came in.
I checked my time, it was about 3pm, 2 hours Short of my closing hour.
I informed my colleague about the matter, and he promised to cover up for me.
I left portharcourt for Abakakili by 5:30pm on Friday. Made a temporary stop at okigwe, imo state, and then continued in the earlier hours of the next day.
I arrived the venue of the exam, at about 8:30am , and joined the many others in the venue to chat away time.
At about 9:30 am , we were asked to queue up.
The day was going right, till a DSS official came with a list (handwritten) and asked everyone to listen to their names.
The names was called and anybody whose name was on the list was issued a number which he/she was to write on his or her exam answer script.
After the names was called,... baba , the next thing we heard was ," Anyone who didn't hear his or her name should leave the exam venue (army barracks for that matters).
I checked how much I spent , the risk I took ,and then decided that the only way I will leave without writing that exam is by body bag.
I can only leave that place when I am done writing the exam,.. anything short of that, I no go gree.
Few minutes after the names was called, the DSS officials present started receiving calls from God knows where...
I can hear some DSS officials saying things like , " tell him to meet me , I am on blue shirt." " Tell am to come front"
Na so, people was being given numbers because of connect.

Like play , like play, the Boss drove in with his escort and tried to make sure everything was well organized.
Initially, he asked those whose names wasn't in the list to leave, but later changed his mind after seeing frustration written over our faces.
After listening to some of us, ...he immediately called the state headquarters to print extra 120 questions papers, and that should be done immediately.
He asked us to queue up, and numbers to be issued to us.
He ordered the officials at the gate not to allow any other person inside the exam compound.

Na so man carry write the exam ooo... Though, I have my misgivings about the whole process.

So, bro if you can gate crash , abeg do am,... But make sure you conquer your fear like me.

All the best bro. God is with us.

Osaro4u2k:
Exam for Rivers applicant is tommorow. I got the text invite yesterday night.

Good luck.

I don't even know if the exam has been written in Bauchi but then all the best to those who have written.

Favourflavour:
I didn't get the text message, I went there for exams today and surprisingly my name was on the list. Apparently the message bounced back. Some who didn't have their names on the list still wrote. In Abia the list was handwritten, so anyone's name can be written in it.

So my friend, please pray and gate crash.

All the best ma.

SpecialAgent:
Ok, Allah bada sa'a bros

Amin Dan uwa.

SpecialAgent:
Never gatecrash any paramilitary or security exams, go onlt if invited. As for other jobs you are free to gate crash

I respect your opinion but still hold on to my opinion.

Where are the proud RCs?

Osaro4u2k:
I don't understand your joy on this. That you found yourself praying in the same mosque as the officer, hope you got the Job last last.

If you feel only getting the job will give me joy, you are them wrong bro.

The first day I approached him, he was sceptical of giving me audience but after mentioning some things that happened during the exam he talked to me and till date we are still in contact.
It might not have worked for me but then the network might be of use someday.
The system might seem hijacked but their are people still willing to help sons of nobodies like you and I. It's left to you to position yourself.
Mind you nobody among the 2018 set(graduate) was called to camp. So what's the fuss and bad blood about.
Hold your negativity since it works for you and I hold my positivity since it works for me.

ugo4u:
In every institution no matter how corrupt you think they might be, there is always room for merit. That you weren't selected previously dosen't mean others haven't been selected previously on merit.
Navy only accept 3 cadets per state and I know people that have being successful without knowing anyone. Same for other organisations even the army don't take more than 8 candidates per state and to a large extent many people get it on merit atleast the last SSC 45 guys can attest to that fact. So your position that DSS slot is 100% by slot is false.

Oga no harm in trying. In 2018, I applied for DSS and was not invited but I confidently went for the exams and gatecrashed.
During the exam, an officer walked up to me and said you look too serious let's see it in writing.
That scene gave me hope but was never contacted after the exams.
Months later, I changed my residence and guess what I found myself praying in the same mosque as the officer.
If I hadn't gatecrashed, would I have known the officer?
Merit deh, divine intervention deh.

If you're really interested in any job, ignore all hear says, apply and if possible gatecrash the exams.
Play your part and leave the rest to God Almighty.
All God needs from us is total believe and dependence.
We are all acting different scripts.

Any respondent from Bauchi?

Which one next Hamburger hill or Platoon?

Carter Na soldier abeg. Muhammed had warned them severally but they never believed but even if they had believed the last warning, the insurgents outnumbered them in personnel and firepower.

Shouldnt be less than 350mb. But the quality is still good. I used to be a big fan of high video quality in movies, but data constraint humbled me.

Just go to thenetnaija dot com and search for the film. You go even see the SRT file (subtitle file) sef.

Cheers bro.
