I think the reason we're not pressing high is because our possession is still not good enough for it yet. We stick lack the required controller so I think ETH is just doing what's necessary to win games for now. The team still has a long way to go but unfortunately that doesn't mean you can keep losing matches. ETH needs points on the board no matter what.

Na wa for Donny o. We should have sold him because I don't understand why ETH would rather run Eriksen on low battery pacemaker than play Donny. Should have sent him back to Ajax.

I think CR might start the next match. Casemiro did ok apart from one mistake we conceded a chance from. Varane and Martinez have definitely improved our defence. I actually had Varane as my man of the match.
McTominay was decent today.
Eriksen tires around the 60th mark. It showed a lot.

Good win. Just need to keep it up.

I just wanted to settle down after dinner to watch match and now that McTominay is playing stomach no wan settle. This was probably a chance to rotate Varane and Eriksen probably for Fred and Maguire. Make we dey look sha.

I don't think 10 new players was realistic for the level we required. My negatives are we overpaid for Antony and Casemiro. We also got them late after the season had started and we didn't get a striker and a controlling midfielder. Otherwise it was a good to get Malacia who seems a gem for relatively cheap. Martinez looks good. Eriksen for free and a backup keeper.

How do you rate our summer window out of 10?

Incomings

Malacia
Martinez
Eriksen
Casemiro
Antony
Dubravka (?)

On paper I feel it's a 7 or 8 out of 10. Still feel we could have got another midfielder, a proper controller and we also needed a striker. 38 yr old CR7 and Martial is not good enough for me.

Problem is I'm not sure in battery in Eriksen's heart can last 90 mins. That guy was visibly tired after the 70th minute.

I think Nitrogen knows more about how these things work than you do, or probably anyone else here. If we never defaulted on any payment there is no way we should only be servicing interest on one loan since 2005. There is usually an agreement over how long it'll take to repay a loan, the interests are factored into the calculation.

Van Dijk is being unfairly criticized.

The entire Liverpool structure had fallen apart when Trent allowed Elanga to run behind and put the cross.

VVD was literally caught between standing his ground to block the shot or charging towards Sancho.

He didn’t know Alisson had dived behind him and if he had charged at Sancho, Sancho would have passed to Bruno to tap into the empty net.

VVD is being rightly criticised because he doesnt like to engage the attacker. He needed to step forward to Sancho there to block the shot or atleast narrow the angle. But that is his style, he's a very passive defender because he plays in an era where you dont usually face a dominant number 9. He's still a great player and a great defender but he's definitely been exposed for his style.
