Obi would have by now supported a lot of small mini refineries with few months start up timeline to supplement importation and then gradually scale it up to wipe out imports totally which is a far better alternative than waiting years for one gigantic refinery to be ready. Why destroy illegal refineries daily in Niger delta when common sense would have said- encourage them financially, legalize it, increase quality, quantity and size of production and in 4 years you will crash the price of fuel to less than 50 naira a liter
