According to reports, a Ghanaian lady simply identified as Elizabeth Torgbor, but, popularly known as Mama Gee, has been arrested.

Mama Gee, who is known for selling aphrodisiac and other drugs to make the ‘vagina sweeter’ and trap men, was arrested by Ghana’s Food and Drugs Authority and Police.

Upon her arrest, Mama Gee, who operates in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and other regions in Ghana, claimed her sole aim is to help rebuild relationships, adding that she is, in fact, a Christian.

Reports have it that the drugs she sells are not registered nor approved by Ghana’s Food and Drugs Authority.

The statement read in parts: “Mama Gee was arrested on Wednesday 10th July, 2019 at her shop at Madina near Rawlings Park in Accra. The FDA wishes to advise the general public not to patronize such products from Mama Gee since it has not been approved by the Authority and the claims cannot be substantiated.”

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu has distanced himself from a campaign by a group for his 2023 presidential ambition.

In a statement by his spokesperson, Tunde Rahman, the former Lagos State governor, described it as “unsolicited and unwarranted”, the promotional items being branded with his names.

The statement read: “We have seen pictures of face caps, T-shirts, shirts and even leaflets with Bola Tinubu 2023 embossed on them purportedly by a faceless group which christened itself ‘Asiwaju Reloaded Ambassadors’ Nigeria’. Neither the group nor its souvenirs are known to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.”

Alelia Murphy was born in 1905, who is believed to be the oldest living person in the United States celebrated her 114th birthday this past weekend in Harlem.

Family, friends and state officials turned up to honour Murphy at the Harlem State Office Building. The Harlem resident became the oldest living American after a 114-year-old Ohio woman, Lessie Brown, died in January.

Murphy was born in North Carolina and has lived in New York’s Harlem neighborhood since 1926. Her age has been verified by the Gerontology Research Group in Sandy Springs, Georgia.

Murphy didn’t speak during the event at the Harlem State Office Building. But according to its program, when she is asked the secret to her longevity, Murphy replies: “Obey god and treat people right”.
