Logicboy03:the only thing i realised was the cherry picking when I started having doubts and questioning my beliefs. The rest were with me from childhood. I always found it difficult accept what didn't seem reasonable. |

Logicboy03:do you know me in real life? My church believed in the trinity but I found it confusing. I never did. We were tithers but I always refused to tithe. We were big church goers though I complied but I always detested the hypocrisy I found in it. The only thing I missed was the choir singing. I'm still a chorister though I still attend music concerts, I honour invitations to sing etc. Though I read the bible a lot, I later realised I was also a victim of cherry picking. Moulding Yahweh after my own image I am quite gentle and soft spoken. I still am. All what changed were internal... 1 Like |

Religion / Re: Can An Atheist Be A Prophet? by MrTroll(m): 9:26am On Dec 14, 2013 |
Ajibam:there is a difference between belief and acceptance of theories and evidence. We go with the evidence and the most reasonable theories. Religions just make bold assertions without any evidence and make believe people it by propaganda, indoctrination, force, threats and fantastic promises. |

texanomaly:this is a flawed question. According to macof, osun is not a sentient being but an abstract concept ascribed to sex, beauty etc so anytime you fuq you experience Osun macof:was this what you meant when you said Sango can be induced to act? |

Swagalord18:what nonsense is this? Earths perfect position? I'm sure you got deeply educated by answersingenesis. Btw, you don't know me so stop the foolish assumption that you have been in my s appeal to emotions. Give proof of a creator or shut up. I have little patience for recycled garbage. |
Religion / Re: For Those that doubt the existence of a supernatural being by MrTroll(m): 8:05am On Dec 14, 2013 |
this is a flawed conclusion because by this logic, you can say that everything that exists must have been created...including God. This leads to an infinite regress. Nobody knows why there is something instead of nothing, religions pretend to know but they actually don't. God has not and cannot be proven to exist and consequently atheist choose not to follow the easy answer and say GOD DID IT! 1 Like |

texanomaly: Your responses when I said I had heard God's voice...what I think he meant by manifesting was the usual magic trick done by the adherents of said deity. For example, Christians will say they've seen Yahweh manifesting when a miracle is done in church. Doesn't mean they actually saw him. |

macof:this is exactly what Christians say when cornered. Mysteriousnessseessseess. I ask again, do you guys worship any deity abstract or sentient? Giving examples of money or parents is simply escapist. Do you, for example, invoke sango to strike down evil doers etc? |

FOLYKAZE:I see you like fighting. First, I wasn't referring specifically to the Yoruba traditional religion. I said ALL and then put being in bold. Secondly, many ifa adherents will disagree with you considering that they worship whatever it is they consider orisa to be. It will be quite absurd to worship, say, gravity. So what exactly do pagans like macof do? |

Its never done even some astronauts some years back had the priviledge of seeing the beautiful gate of heaven but there cameras picked nothing, It could be the camera effect or x-principalities at work |
