Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 8:21am On Jun 20, 2013
patriot4: Look mr half South african: I posted a video about the Nigerian-Biafra war.
It was even called Africa's worst war and "médecins sans frontière" was invented during that war.
We also fought in Liberia and Sierra Leone and of course Somalia and Sudan, and let us not forget Congo.
Anyway, I liked the way you've always referred to it as CIVIL WAR.

Have you ever fought another country one on one? That's what I want to know.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 8:15am On Jun 20, 2013
patriot4: You have got to stop saying things that make you look like a fool.
That is the truth, over 70% of Nigerians live in villages to date. Is that a lie?
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 8:10am On Jun 20, 2013
patriot4: The Nigerian armed forces was originally a small one. It grew during the civil war, and of course we had a verry small air force before the civil war, you have to remember that we had only been independent for 7 years !
The Nigerian armed forces of today is a formidable force which is battle tested.
Have never fought any country? Your country does not have experience of Fighting other countries.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 7:48am On Jun 20, 2013
agaugust: World Bank disagrees with the published nigerian poverty rate of 60% for lack of data/evidence/proof. i posted that with sources twice last month of may and you all read it.

when did you south africans on nairaland become a better researcher than world bank ?

world bank rejects nigeria poverty rate reports

Quote :

Even the World Bank has repeatedly said it has no confidence in the poverty index reports regularly issued by the Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) which recently released its National Poverty Index report, because "there is no reliable data with which to correctly measure the decline or increase in Nigeria’s poverty rate."

weblink source

http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/issues-in-the-new-poverty-report/137011/

Current minimum wage in Nigeria is about $4 a day, but world standard poverty line is about $1 a day.

minimum wage in nigeria is 4 times bigger than world standard poverty line

the above quote settles the dispute of poverty rate figures, nigeria wins again !

.
The reason why world bank reject the report is because Nigerian statistics are unreliable. The truth is statistics could even be higher since Nigeria has not yet industrialised and urbanised with majority still living in villages.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 7:21am On Jun 20, 2013
agaugust: nigeria has fought against another nation. the biggest war every fought in african histroy is the nigeria vs b.iafra war with combined total of about half a million soldiers/combatants fighting on both sides

nigeria was a nation (though carved up) in the war, b.iafra was a separate nation (though carved out) during the war.

b.iafra has its own name B.IAFRA

b.iafra has its own map

b.iafra has its own head of state

b.iafra has its own government and ministers

b.iafra has its own national anthem

b.iafra has its own coat of arms/ensignia

b.iafra has its own national flag

b.iafra has its own clearly defined national borders 77,310 sq km

b.iafra has its own nation officially recognized by Gabon, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, Zambia.

b.iafra has its own government central bank/reserve bank and banking laws

b.iafra has its own money/currency the b.iafran pound

b.iafra has its own army, navy, and air force

b.iafra has its own world class professional military officers and men trained in britain's best military academy

b.iafra has its own share of nigerian weapons taken over in all federal armoury within its territory

b.iafra has its own share of the best military commanders in nigerian army, navy, air force.

B.iafran war lasted about 3 years because it was nigerian military north and west vs nigerian military east

did charles taylor's rebel group have all the above in liberia ?

weblink source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biafra

the war was nigerian nation vs b.iafran nation, not like charles taylor vs sierra leone nation

B.iafran war gave nigerian military 3 years of heavy combat experience jungle warfare, swamp/mangrove warfare, air warfare, sea warfare, amphibious/marine warfare, and urban/city warfare.

the war involved both sides using air force jet fighters and jet bombers, helicopters, tanks, armoured vehicles, artillery, rockets, navy frigate warships, navy landing crafts, navy fast attack crafts, navy gun boats, land mines, flying bombs, anti-aircraft guns, and of course hundreds of thousands of infantry soldiers. it is also the only large scale amphibious/marine war in african history.

https://www.donckelly.com/world/biafra_display.jpg
LOL!! Try again. BIAFRA was never a legal state, much like what Boko Haram want to establish in Nigeria. BIAFRA was not even bigger than any province in South Africa in respect of land mass. Tell me if you fought against Britain, Germany, Israel, Italy, Russia, Angola and Cuba like what the Egyptians, South Africans and Ethiopians have done. EVEN AS AT TODAY BIAFRAN WAR IS KNOWN AS CIVIL WAR, so please don't try to give that war credentials it does not deserve. It is not even the biggest war fought in Africa. The Bush war has much credentials than your so called biafran war.

FACT!! Nigeria has never fought any country.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 7:06am On Jun 20, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: Your view at best is very speculative. Now how does it affect SANDF?
Lol!! Nothing. I just only wanted to tell you why Hillbrow is now referred to as little Lagos. They have even planned to establish an Igbo school there.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 11:07pm On Jun 19, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: You can't be so lame with your points. Are there more Zimbabweans in South Africa than Nigerians? YES! Are there more Congolese than Nigerians in South Africa? YES! Are there more black Southern African (SADC) immigrants in South Africa than Nigerians? YES! Are there Nigerians, Ghanaians, Cameroonians living in South Africa? YES! How about the Ethiopians, Somalians? YES! Now tell me where you'll find these immigrant population? In Hillbrow not so? YES! Until you provide an accurate headcount of the proportion of African immigrants living in your so-called Hillbrow ... would it not be a jaundiced view to assume that every black person in your Hillbrow neighbourhood is a Nigerian? Call it Lagos, or Harare, Lusaka, Ndola, Lubumbashi, Kumasi or whatever you choose ... it is still your Hillbrow, in Johannesburg, in the Republic of South Africa.
You don't really understand. There is a vast number of Zimbabweans and Congolese whatever, but when it comes to Hillbrow and Yeoville even other foreigners know very well that is the space of Nigerians. To be more exact, in South Africa you will find more Nigerians in Hillbrow than any nationals, that's why the place is now called little Lagos even the Nigerians call it that way. Go to Hillbrow you will find that most shops and flats are owned by Nigerians.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m):
NaijaPikinGidi: In your mind it is filled with Nigerians? Unfortunately, you have no evidence of that! There are surely more Zimbabweans, South Africans, Zambians, Congolese, Camerounians, Ghanaians, and other black Africans in your Hillbrow. Stop peddling your falsehood. It doesn't do your sad mirror-image any good!!
Lies!!! Majority of residents of Hillbrow are Nigerians, no wonder is called Lagos. I live in Joburg and I know that many South Africans have left Hillbrow long ago.

Check how do they refer to Hillbrow here under.

sheyie2007: Seriously! Tell me more grin
Wow!! Don't you know anything about that?

FACT!!! Nigeria has never fought against any country.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 6:09pm On Jun 19, 2013
These South Africans have too much problemoooh. I think we must ban them from here ooooooo! Lol!!!

FACT!!! Nigeria has no any war history against other countries.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 4:57pm On Jun 19, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: No social progress? Go tell that to your jobless selves! To the contrary we have further ensured social progress in many countries on the continent. Unlike your failed efforts to do same. Is social progress about throwing millions down the drain in airlifts and losses that have enraged majority of your poor population? Your fascination with your Hillbrow is very revealing. You probably enjoy life in your nice Hillbrow paradise ... I suppose?

You are permanently delusional and need to seek help my boy!
Hillbrow is no more called with that name, is now called Lagos.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 4:20pm On Jun 19, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: Please don't die! SA needs you in CAR. You're in the selection for SELEKA!
Nigeria has never fought any war to claim a title.

That's a FACT!! People who should be talking is Egypt, South Africa and Ethiopia. Those are the real giants of Africa who have been battle tested and they fought against first world countries.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 4:15pm On Jun 19, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: CraigB, it goes on and on in your head. You surely need help understanding military details. Any talk not military related will not get far with me. Insults don't get you nowhere boy! Talk military economics ... we can compare and contrast both military forces. Pirates talk you may go with Orlando Pirates but I'll go with www.navy.mil.ng or www.cot.navy.mil.ng. The suffering ones are in your backyards ... daily victims of all the things you ascribe to Nigeria. Let South Africa post economic growth rates of 7% or more if your economy is actually upwardly mobile. Talk the military talk son! Learn to be a man!
You are pleading, but when you were on about satellites you wouldn't want to stop.

It hurts when you hit it where it hurts the most.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 4:02pm On Jun 19, 2013
CraigB: Upset because you've come up short. No. You've come up shot. Two posts ago you weren't talking "military", were you? Now that you've been hurt, you want to shed tears. We see you.

You've been taken exactly where you wanted to go when you decided to talk about South Africa. This is reality. No simulating this. Pirates and refugees. "Smartness" and no results. Barrels and barrels of oil, but Naai-geria is a mess. Show me an oil-producing nation with your levels of reserves that suffers as much as you do. Please - and then explain what business you have got talking about soldiers in that scenario?
You really killed me with this one. He is so obedient that now his fellow countryman "Aguagust" has run away.

FACT!!! Nigeria has no title in their name.

The devil is suffering from a mind of a rat. @Naija is surely weeping.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 3:42pm On Jun 19, 2013
How can you claim that you are the best in soccer if you have not played a game against any country? Practice among yourselves doesn't guarantee you any victory against opposition. Opposite team might not react the same as your fellow countrymen in practice.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 3:35pm On Jun 19, 2013
Nigeria must stop claiming that they are the most powerful force in the continent. Who did they defeat to come to that conclusion, because their military does not have any track record of war history. Have never defeat any country. So where do they get this false impression that they are powerful? NO WAR HISTORY, NO TITLE.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 3:19pm On Jun 19, 2013
chris365: dude dont be silly. Soldiers don't guard prisons. They have guards and they only have guns while insurgents have RPG, IED and everything explosive. So how do you expect prison guards to defend themselves against such heavy weapons. Are SAs this ignorant?
So how do you justify the attack on barracks, where soldiers dine and sleep which was also few inches away from the prison. They fled the scene, with police, warders et al.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 3:09pm On Jun 19, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: As usual CraigB shows his penchant of negating substance and intellect for cheap innuendo and childish talk. In your dreams you want me as a South African ... because you can't suck up enough of the humiliation my knowledge and understanding of your South Africa has done to your "huge" ego. You wish my home somewhere in Nigeria was in Johannesburg? Keep wishing!! I'm am BORN and BRED NIGERIAN to the CORE and your tantrums all over Nairaland cannot change the fact. You can cry your kinsmen an ocean because I know your deepest secrets, I understand your ways or showmanship and public information manipulation and I even know how to access your President Zuma's R200million plus bunker in Nkandla. Clearly you are unable stick to the military focus of this thread because your bad-looking flat behinds have been exposed. I dare you to start a new thread on any topic of your choice and I'll meet you there. So far, your only stock in trade is the substitution of intelligent debates for insults and name calling whenever your lies find you out! Keep splashing your smelly feaces in your own faces like you do well in Cape Town, while I as usual challenge my intellect in healthy debates with people who care. I don't have any doubt about your sad state of mind!! Hakuna matata my boy!!
You must just admit, you are fascinated by Mzansi and there's a greater possibility that you are in SA enjoying our warmth and happy welcoming.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 3:01pm On Jun 19, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: Nigerian Soldiers run in your dreams but not as fast as SANDF men run for their dear lives from the SELEKA boy fighters! What funny news sources are you glued to? SABC news or probably "dancenews" ... Jika ma Jika? Just asking!
How can you let insugents to hijack your prison and release prisoners? Surely that is an embarrassment of the worst order. It had never happened anywhere in history. You have broken the record, so rejoice the award.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 2:56pm On Jun 19, 2013
chris365: dude you guys are so much in denial. It's all over your media that your military lacks the manpower e.g. About 60% infected with aids, the main veterans of the apatheid era have aged and retired etc..

So even if you've got all the high tech weapons, without the manpower ya'll are like the heavily equiped libya VS small chad.
And you know how chad washed dem in the desert.

So you can argue from now till next century but you and i know that in a war the first thing to consider is man power availability, battlefield experience before you talk of how to use the weapons. (even seleka are battle hardened than SA army)

that's why Egypt and Ethiopia are still highly rated (they have the manpower and equipment. Same as Nigeria). And SA still living on past glory... Seems overated to me.

SA of today will not win a war with Uganda not to talk of Nigeria. And guess what.. We helped train and develop the Uganda army. Research it, internet is your friend.
60% oh!! Shame. What are the stats in your military? Probably unknown because you don't record statistics. YOU ARE SITTING ON A TIME BOMB!!

Let's go, one..., two... and boom-boom-boom. Lol!!!
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 2:25pm On Jun 19, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: Until you can beat the SELEKA in a "gun battle", you should be wise enough not to talk about BIG WARS and military matters! History has a way of repeating itself. Using your standards ... Nigeria's military force is better off as a "baby" than your "foetus" SANDF. We have fought for the peace and prosperity of Africa/ns around the continent. Nothing can change that fact.
FACT!!! You have never fought any country. Shame!! NO RECORDS. What is so difficult of you to admit.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 2:16pm On Jun 19, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: CraigB ... SELEKA remains your teacher! No amount of erasers can wipe away that fact. Twisting words, facts and all things true and attempting to derail the focus on this thread cannot help. Learn to deal with it. Nigeria's war records are stellar!
Are you still recuperating from tragedy after Boko Haram washed your solders and send them hiding in their power house(barracks) and hijacked their guns and free prisoners. I couldn't thought that Nigerian Soldiers can run that much. Lol!!!
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 1:58pm On Jun 19, 2013

I liked the way you posed it. Nigeria is just a BABY who knows nothing about BIG WARS. Shame!!! Always settle for much lesser things.

FACT!!! Nigeria has never fought any country!!!
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 11:48am On Jun 19, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: And the recycling continues where facts prevail. Try something new.
What instrument do you use to measure your military power if you have never fought any country? No history available on the net, thus you have no track record.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 11:18am On Jun 19, 2013
saengine: Another example of you running away when you have been caught. You loudly opened your mouth thinking SA has never designed a jet fighter. You are further digging your hole by claiming it was only a sketch. If you even remember the point of this argument was that Rooivalk and the Carver jet (project cancelled before 1st test flight) were built because SA was not allowed to import weapons at the time. It's a very simple, well documented fact. Instead of accepting it and moving on, you tried to be clever by arguing that point. Which has left you with egg on your face. Yes please get back to work, your customers are waiting for their burger and chips order.
Chips and burger!!!! Hahahahaha, that last statement really killed me. Do you mean he is doing a Waiter's job in America? You must also visit Alaska to see how many Nigerians are catching fish there and when they get back home to Nigeria on holidays, they would lie to their pals that they are managers of the big businesses in America.

agaugust: Nigerian soldiers replaced the British army in Burma d.eadly jungle war and defeated Japan's great army in world war II.

please leave this old topic discussed much during your absence from this forum. south africa was held to a draw in its most recent war with cuba circa 1980-1988. period. game over.
Lies!! In Burma, the British used Nigeria, not even Nigerian Army then as a shield or bullet proof. Poor Nigerians/ Sierra Leone were sent on the frontiers and only to be killed miserably.

FACT!! Nigeria has never fought any country.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 9:41am On Jun 19, 2013
See how South Africa defeated Germany and Rob them of Namibia. South Africa took over Namibia as their trophy.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/South-West_Africa_Campaign

The same cannot be said of Nigeria who have such a limited war history.

Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 9:00am On Jun 19, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: Mngani wam Mr. MsauZA ... repeating the same lines that have been defeated several times over? You need to read/check the several previous posts on this thread to enlighten your mind. Nigeria's war involvements go way back and have been documented and presented in details even here on this thread. Unlike South Africa that points to wars they participated in without clear victories or objectives, Nigeria has spearheaded, participated in and have won wars in the past 10 - 15 years that had clear objectives and have brought needed peace and stability to many troubled countries on the continent.

Until you point to successful South African military engagements anywhere on earth in recent time ... CAR fiasco will continue to be South Africa's "best" outing yet? A defeat of Nigeria by SA amounts to asking too much of SANDF. SELEKA proved that.
FACT!!! Nigeria has never fought any country.
