agaugust: .The fact remains, only 200 SA soldiers managed to contain over 3000 rebels until they finally wave the white flag to save the life of CAR president F Bozize. The world knows, South Africa knows and it's only Aguagust in the whole universe who does not know anything about it. JOHANNESBURG, Mar 31 – South African soldiers who survived last week’s rebel takeover of the Central African Republic are traumatised after discovering later that some of the rebels killed were child soldiers, local Sunday newspapers reported. In what has turned out to be South Africa’s heaviest military loss since apartheid, 13 soldiers were killed last weekend in Bangui in clashes with Seleka rebels who toppled president Francois Bozize. Around 200 South African troops fought against some 3,000 rebels during the battle for the Central African capital that lasted several hours. Some of survivors who have returned home recounted to local newspapers that they only discovered after the battle that they had been fighting against some teenage rebel soldiers. “It was only after the firing had stopped that we saw we had killed kids. We did not come here for this… to kill kids. It makes you sick. They were crying calling for help… calling for (their) moms,” a paratrooper told the Sunday Times. South African President Jacob Zuma in January had approved the deployment of 400 soldiers to the Central African Republic to help local troops. as part of a bilateral pact with the administration of now deposed Bozize. In the end about 200 soldiers were sent. Some of the Central African rebels were “teenagers who should be in school,” the soldier told the paper. In the City Press a soldier was quoted as saying many of the rebels were “only children”. The two papers also quoted the soldiers saying the South African troops were running out of ammunition. South Africa’s government now faces increasing calls at home for a probe into why troops were sent to the Central African Republic. Zuma is due to attend an extraordinary summit of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) on Wednesday to be hosted by the Chadian leader Idriss Deby Itno. http://www.capitalfm.co.ke/news/2013/03/s-african-troops-alarmed-over-killing-child-soldiers-in-c-africa/ |
My dear fellow comrades, yesterday I also spend about five hours in DITSONG (SA Military Museum on war History). I saved many of Agaugust comments and have them printed on an A4 paper with a view of conducting research about many of his flawed statements pertaining to military analysis. It turned to me that Aguagust has a very limited knowledge about defence industry and expects rated him as someone who had never even received any advanced leadership training on military and whose research is mainly based on secondary sources and not in what he knows in person. I will quote some of those lies and bring them to light for everyone to see and expose Aguagust once and for all in a due time shotly. |
agaugust:Aguagust, you are such an amazing jerk. You last told us you graduated with Bcom finance/Accounting and tell us what does Bsc has to do with finance now? You are such a big lier, a typical Naija file:///SDCard/BlackBerry/videos/video%20Nscdc%20%40TypicalNaija.mp4 |
agaugust:You are as well a big lier. Admit it. |
Henry120: It is impossible to have 6 pilots for 26 gripen's/ airforce, everybody knows that. My question is however, why did defenceweb.co.za go ahead to publish the report knowing that the guy(david) was propagating falsehood? Those are just the rubbish claims, About 91 pilots majority of whom were white resigned in SAAF citing limited career opportunities and still there were more than 30 who were retained. Currently there is supposed to be about 123 pilots who graduated already from their flight training in Laangebaan. This you can google if there is a need. |
Henry120: Like I had previously told you, on this thread we( nigerians) have unearthed military hardware not registered anywhere( un register, IISS, SIPRI or janes defence weekly) before today, complete with photos and links to prove. Not all, some where taken from other nations such as Israel and paraded as though Nigeria have bought them, especially those pasted by Aguagust. If you don't have something don't come to claim that you have. Tomorrow I will again visit the museum when I have time to confirm some few things that Aguagust wrote about Nigerian Army. |
By the way I had such a wonderful expedition at DITSONG (SA military museum on war history), indeed I never knew we had such a facility in SA. If you reside in Gauteng, JHB or Pretoria, I would recommend you to visit this fine place. They have every info available about all the wars that SA fought in the past and I never even knew that South Africa has such a vast war experience, while others on this threat claimed that SA never engaged in any war. I could never even believe when I was told that SA fought in WW1 and WW2, Cold war, Korea war, etc. |
My dear fellow friends, today I drove down to DITSONG ( SA national museum of war history) in Johannesburg to enquire about the possibility of any country procuring arms secretly. I met one curator, who is a veteran colonel and pose this question to him and his response was unbelievable. He rubbished all this claims and said that all Arms manufacturing companies are by law and now the recent UN arms trade treaty prohibited in engaging in concealed deals. Every transactions require to be recorded for statistics purposes. This trend is crucial so to discourage trade of arms falling in the hands of organised crime or rebels or selling of weapons to countries classified as the red area by the UN. So there is nothing called secret arms deal, every trade has to be recorded, so that in future it should be known which and which country or corporation utilises a particular weapon. For example thales (foreign Arms manufacturers) which are on the database of SANDF has to record all their arms trade with SA and where possible reflect it on their media. So Aguagust claims that Nigeria bought this and that secretly in relation to this above statement hold no water |
Capnd143: i strongly and whole heartedly belive you for the sake of peace. The actual deal will have to be published. The inventory is not a problem as that depend on how often do they update their records. |
This is a threat of wonder indeed, where everyone can make unfounded claims about how his country managed to procure big nuclear warheads, how they succeeded in grabbing hold of this invincible gunship that cannot be down by anyone and how powerful their armies are to extend that they cannot be killed by an ordinary gunfire. Bwahahaha, this is unbelievable. Did we ever ask ourselves if we somehow are not locked into world of fantasy. |
Henry120: So Aguagust claims that Nigeria bought this and that secretly in relation to this above statement hold no water.I want Aguagust response on that. Nigeria is a country and not rebels. Rebels are the ones who procure arms secretly. A democratic country as Nigeria cannot. |

agaugust: ITS NOTHING SPECIAL, nigerian military trains with american, british, israeli, indian, pakistani, and other great special forces of the world.Aguagust you have a serious problem really, I don't know what will cure you. AndrewZA was just making an innocent comment about SA recce training American Army ranger about bush craft. I don't know what does Nigerian Special forces training with Americans, Indians, etc has to do with that statement. Beside Nigerian Special Forces are still very young, hence they require a lot of experience from the likes of Israel, America et al. SA recces have such a mass experience, that's why the Americans still respect them and regard them as masters of Bush craft. Hopefully, this they received from Bushmen (Khoisans), who are still the core elements of our Army. |
sheyie2007: Yay! The longest thread in politics section. thanks to syndergp and mzauza refusal to back downWhere does agaugust fit in that sentence? |
andrewza: The g6 fired a round 100km you can look it up in the guniies book of world records. Is this the source Aguagust wants? http://www.ynaija.com/embarrasment-for-nigerian-army-62-soldiers-repatriated-from-sudan/ |
The list of all the countries who have bid for SKA and are as well member state to the project together with 67 big organisations; The SKA - a global project Australia Brazil Canada China France Germany India Italy Japan Korea Netherlands New Zealand Poland Portugal Russia South Africa Spain Sweden UK US http://www.skatelescope.org/the-project/history-of-the-organisation/participating-countries-2/ |
agaugust: You always forget that other countries of the world are not F00LS that sleep and watch you take control but i agree South Africa will be the world headquarters for HIV AIDS research because there are more than enough people to use for the experiments.Don't worry we are warming up the seat for you. Surely, the way things are, three years will be enogh for Nigeria to assume the first position. Five years ago you were sitting on position 10 according to WHO and just in five years you climbed the ranks to claim position three. Tell me what will happen in another five years to come. By the way it seems as if you don't understand anything about SKA. This was an international project and many countries contested to be the hosts of the projects and ultimately it was won by SA and Australia. SA was representing Africa and will host 2 of the SKA projects while Australia will have only one. By international law all countries will have to come here to conduct research related to SKA. |
The R18.2 billion symbio-city project in Pretoria is expected to kick start late this year and ends in 2018; http://www.urbika.com/imgs/projects/large/7334_centurion-symbio-city.jpg This project will result in the 442 storey building surrounded by 80 and 60 twin towers. This will bring days of reign by 223 storey Calton center in coner of smal and commissioner streets to end. Calton Center: http://img2.photographersdirect.com/img/12366/wm/pd1021592.jpg |
agaugust: You need to visit the oil rich AlgeriaThere is no city that is better than Cape Town in Algeria. Algerian cities have a lot of mosques, that's what they call infrastructure my friend and it's only the area where they will beat us. |
We can argue about military and GDP, but in terms of infrastructure and tourism, No pleeeeease, SA does not have a competition in Africa. |
South Africa will soon become the hub of technology where all researchers across the globe will gather. Research from all aspects of life, military, communications, space, medicine, etc will be done here in Mzansi; http://www.ska.ac.za/ The SKA will facilitate all this to us and even boast our economy. |
sheyie2007: Do you know how a standby gen works? Ok let me educate you, its hibernates when power is restored and starts automatically when power is out.. the good thing is its serves me when my electricity bills are unpaid.. good I've not used it for a while bow... power has improved...yay!Don't discard it, you might get into troubloooo. You know your electricity is very unstablooo |
andrewza: Is GLOW in SAThis guyz they drink a lot of this cheap palm wine. |
agaugust: Globacom nigeria has been rated superior to MTN technically. sorry bro, you mis-fired.Tell me do you know 4G? |
sheyie2007: Hehehehe i use a stanby generator.. So technically, i use electricity 247Life must be hard in Nigeria, just imagine starting and switching off, hell it must be a great deal of work. |
snydergp: Wow nigeria is getting number portability now we had it for over 6 years nowMTN will be the first to introduce 4G in their country. |
andrewza: 500 000 nigerians live in south africa.AndrewZA it is said that number has even doubled. |
sheyie2007: Lol..it means andrewza can fvck a biitch without condoms? You seem proud of it man..Yes, AIDS is not a death sentence in SA. You will your life to the fullest, but I don't say that when you are positive you must come running to SA looking for help. |
sheyie2007: You're dumb, do you think nigerians are learners like you all? Even with your 45k eskom is having issues serving y'all.... do you think power is childs play? ANd those figures of yours are pretty hogwash.. There are places in nigeria with stable electricity now.. let alone abuja.. just keep your fingers crossed i know you south africans are obsesed with nigerians hehehehehheWhat!!! this village boy. SA produce 450000 MW of power what is untrue about that statement. By the way, do not forget to buy petrol to start your generator tonight or else the darkness is your friend tonight. |
sheyie2007: Lol... SA is in hell already being rated number 1 with a relatively smaller population compared to nigeria..You are misinformed, Botswana is the first, then SA and Nigeria takes third. There is still large numbers that are yet to be disclosed in Nigeria. As BBC reported people in Nigeria wait until they are sick in order to be tested. Why are Nigerians so scared to be tested, it is so simple, they just prick your finger with a faint needle and that's all. That test is called rapid AIDS test and is immediate. |
Nigerian man carrying a cow with a bike; Lol!!! Just click. https://www.nairaland.com/attachments/177102_Cow_Biker_jpg51382b8993d4d21bee68fe555581265d |
sheyie2007: The 5million plus figure remains official and from the look of things, i don't think that figure would drop hence the alarming r@pe related crimes being reported almost on a daily basis..

You should never think, the numbers are dropping already. SA is more educated than ever and has dealt with this sickness for quite some time, unlike Nigeria who are starting to face this challenge inexperienced. Soon they will come to us looking for answers forgetting that they once called us an AIDS HUB. |
