agaugust: Dude, keep messing up with Wikipedia and some low class combat aircraft.
My source is FAS = Federation Of American Scientists.
They are a respectively military research information/database website.
They confirm Su-30 jets data as follows.
Normal range (Combat) 3,000 km Maximum range 5,200 km Ferry range (Unarmed) 6,990 km.....Approx 7,000 km .
http://fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/row/su-30.htm BWAHAHAHA…MY SOURCE IS FROM THE MANUFACTURE OF THE AIRCRAFT AND SAYS THE MAXIMUM DISTANCE THAT THE AIRCRAFT CAN FLY WITHOUT ORDNANCE AND INFLIGHT REFUELING AT HEIGHT IS =3000KM AND AT SEA LEVEL WHERE THERE IS AIR FRICTION IS 1200KM http://www.sukhoi.org/eng/planes/military/su30mk/lth/NOW WHICH SOURCE IS SUPERIOR? WIKIPEDIA WAS ONLY QUOTED TO TEACH YOU ABOUT: -COMBAT RADIUS AND MAXIMUM RANGE OR FERRY RANGE. THE EDUCATION YOU ACQUIRED IN NIGERIA IS INFERIOR. |

agaugust: Are you cräzy ?
Gripen combat radius ~ 850 km
Su-30 combat radius ~ 3,000 km
I have a feeling you are the South African maquerading as Angolan man dacostaANG.
The way you tell random lies about the Su-30 jet makes you number one suspect . DONT CONFUSE THE MAX EFFECTIVE RANGE WITH THE COMBAT RADIUS. GRIPEN HAS A MAX RANGE OF OVER 3200 SU-30 HAS THE MAX RANGE OF 3000 http://www.combataircraft.com/en/Military-Aircraft/SAAB/JAS-39-Gripen/http://www.combataircraft.com/en/Military-Aircraft/Sukhoi/Su-30-Flanker/THE COMBAT RADIUS IS DEPENDENT ON THE NUMBER OF FACTORS SUCH AS ORDNANCES AND NUMBER OF ENGINES, EXTERNAL DROP TANKS, ECT. GRIPEN CARRY HEAVY GUNS AND WEAPONS SYSTEMS AND THAT LIMIT IT TO 850KM. COMBAT AIRCRAFTS EXPERTS BELIEVE THAT THE LOWER THE COMBAT RADIUS OF A FIGHTER THE BETTER AND HEAVIER ITS ORDNANCES. HOWEVER, COMBAT RADIUS IS NOT IMPORTANT IN A DOG FIGHT AND NEITHER WILL IT HELP A FIGHTER WIN. IT IS GOOD FOR AIR PATROLS http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combat_radiusYOU KNOW LITTLE ABOUT FIGHTER JETS AND YOU LIKE TO ARGUE MUCH ABOUT THEM. I TOOK MY TIME TO VISIT LIBRARIES AND READ A LOT ABOUT FIGHTER JETS. |

agaugust: . hey brother Msauza, you are so terrified by NAF F-7 jet with near BVR 35 km range missiles to the extent that you now type in giant font + bold font + capital letters ? Are you sure this PL-9C missile 35 km range has not driven you close to mental hospital? Do your even sleep well at night? Have you started seeing a psychiatrist now?
Somebody please save this man o ! BVR missile is killing people in South Africa even before NAF started firing it !
Omo, wahala dey o !
. F7 IS JUST LIKE A DOG COMPARED TO GRIPEN JET. EVEN IF YOU CAN SHARPEN THE TEETH OF A DOG AND LET IT TO FIGHT A LION, IT WILL STILL LOSE. |

agaugust: USAF jets crash regularly.
F-7NI jet crashed have been stopped by NAF.
NAF lost 4 jets in 8 years and NONE in the last 3 years of combat operation in North East where the NAF F-7 jets fly combat sorties almost every day, and NONE has crashed after doing hundreds of combat operations, it even seems the jets do better in war time than in peace time, war-monger battle-hungry F-7 jets ! . You have a memory of a child. Just last year on the 30th of December, you made an admission on Beegeagle that your flying coffins (F7) are crushing as if is an annual ritual. |

agaugust: Delivery date means NOTHING, your SAAF got the old 1995 Gripen C/D version and NOTHING more than that !
Brazil is buying the more modern Gripen E and Sweden is doing the same. Your SAAF Gripen C/D version is obsolescent since 20 years ago it was introduced into service, 20 year old version and obsolescent . . THE FIRST GRIPENS WERE FIRST INTRODUCED IN 1997. SOUTH AFRICAN GRIPENS WERE MANUFACTURED IN 2005 AND THE FIRST BATCH WERE DELIVERED IN 2010 FOLLOWED BY OTHERS AROUND 2012. SOUTH AFRICAN GRIPENS ARE STILL NEW FROM THE BOX CHIEF. |

agaugust: I am showing you another example of what F-7 jets became in the last modern variants purchased or upgraded by Pakistan, Nigeria and Bangladesh from 2008 - 2013, those are generations ahead of a basic 1950s MiG-21. Jets don't fight according to your personal opinion about them, they fight according to the equipment installed on them. Education for you Southies . The F7-BGI is still by far inferior to JAS 39c Gripen, it has a fire control radar with a range of a mere 35 KM. |

Why are you unable to develop our armaments industry?
And lets not even talk about medical, nuclear and other advances we regularly churn out such as a working pebble bed reactor or the worlds first digital laser The worst of it all is that theirs was built in Britain. Nigeria has never built any satellite. http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-15098493 |

If it has 35km range then it has a ceiling of 6km
Simple as that The wording of the source is the word of god!

agaugust: Nope, I proved that you are very wrong and half illiterate.
Stop running away from my simple question, why does Umkhonto missile fly 20 km range but only 8 km altitude ? Why ?
So if DENEL makes Umkhonto version for Gripen jet that flies at 15 km, the Gripen must descend down to 8 km to fire the Umkhonto missile?
Are you sick? Yes you are mentallly sick !
Have you ever seen air to air missile data with maximum ceiling or altitude ?
The maximum altitude of any air to air missile is equal to the maximum altitude of the jet fighter launching it. Fool
Also, my photo showed you that when a modern day missile is strictly ground launch version, they are stored/cased inside silos/boxes, or tubes
When it is same missile that is attached to aircraft pylons/hardpoint for air launch, the missiles are also pylon/hardpoint attached to launcher in the ground based version because it's exactly the same missile.
PHOTO 1 : PL-9C AIR LAUNCH, OPEN ON PYLON
PHOTO 2 : PL-9C GROUND LAUNCH, OPEN ON PYLON
PHOTO 3 : UMKHONTO MISSILE STRICTLY GROUND LAUNCH ONLY, CLOSED, ENCLOSED INSIDE SILOS/TUBE/BOX COVER . THOSE ARE CLEARLY TWO VARIANTS OF MISSILES, ONE IS PL-9 AAM AND THE OTHER IS PL-9C SHORAD. DUMMY. |

TAKEN FROM THE HORSES MOUTH.
HE SPEAKS BAD OF F7 ON BEEGEAGLE AND NOW HERE HE WANTS TO SCARE US WITH 1955 MACHINE WITH A MERE FIRE CONTROL RADAR OF JUST 22KM.Augustine on December 30, 2014 at 12:25 am F-7 jet is a waste of money, a disgrace for NAF to fly a year 1955 design aircraft in 2015. Do poor nations Eritrea and Uganda fly F-7 jets? If my country does not love me, well me I love my country, I won’t pray for myself to buy Kia Picanto when my neighbours on the same street are buying Toyota Camry. Why should I pray for Nigeria to waste money of F-7 jet? 4 crashed in 4 years like annual ritual. Sell off all NAF the F-7NI jets to South Sudan or Congo DRC and transfer skills to them. Use NAF Mi-35 Hinds to launch our PGM now if guided weapons are urgent for use against Boko Haram. Su-25 SM version PGM armed is the jet Nigerian needs for COIN. JF-17 Block II and Su-30 MKI…..those are the jets Nigeria needs for multi-role/air superiority today and beyond today. https://beegeagle./2014/12/26/nigerian-air-force-gunship-crew-and-a-modernised-2014-delivery-mi-35p-attack-helicopter/ |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 7:06am On Mar 25, 2015 |
agaugust: That is for ground launch because the fire control radar is fixed on the ground and cannot fly, the air launch has fire control radar inside the airborne jet fighter and F-7 altitude is almost 18 km so the altitude becomes 18 km, and the Gripen is inferior in altitude, so it flies below the F-7 at 15 km , that NAF shoots down SAAF from above your pilots' coconut skulls.
Take it like a man, defeat is bitter, but please me a man....swallow your medicine, it is the inevitable fate and destiny you face ! . NO MEDICINE IN THE WHOLE WORLD CAN CURE YOUR MENTAL SICKNESS. YOUR SOURCE CLEARLY SPEAKS ABOUT SAM VARIANT AND JUST UNDERNEATH THEY ALSO REFLECTED THAT THE OTHER VARIANT IS AIR-TO-AIR WHICH WITH THE RANGE OF 22KM. HOWEVER, EVEN IF WE WERE TO GIVE NIGERIAN F7 JET A BVR WITH 120KM, IT WILL STILL NOT DEFEAT GRIPEN BECAUSE OF ITS POOR DETECTION RADAR. GRIPEN WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE UPPER HAND OF DETECTING IT FIRST. |

@AGAUGUST STOP TURNING YOURSELF INTO A MONKEY JOKE AND INSTEAD FACE THE REALITY WITH FACTS. GRIPEN WILL NOT FEAR YOUR F7 EVEN IF WE WERE TO ARM IT WITH THE BEST BVR IN THE WORLD, HENCE I REPEAT THIS POST. EVEN IF AN F7 JET CAN BE ARMED WITH BVR IT WILL STILL NOT DEFEAT GRIPEN JET. THE GRIPEN JET WILL DETECT IT FIRST WITH ITS WIDER DETECTION RADAR AND STAND A CHANCE TO FIRE THE FIRST SHOT. THE F7 CANNOT FIRE THE MISSILE UNLESS IT HAS DETECTED THE GRIPEN AND WHAT SADDENS THE MOST IS THE FACT THAT BEFORE IT CAN DETECT THE POSITION OF THE GRIPEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LONG DETECTED BY GRIPEN AND HENCE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD. THE BVR IS NOT THE BEST PLATFORM FOR J7/F7 BECAUSE IT HAS POOR DETECTION RADAR. THE ENEMY WILL ALWAYS DETECT IT FIRST AND APPROACH IT FROM BEHIND OR FROM ITS WEAKEST LINK. |
