patriot4: there are a bunch of lies in what you said:It seems as if you hardly have any beam of light about the SA foreign policy. We are saying that let Africans solve their own problems. |
agaugust: weblink source please.Who do you think will be your hopeful customers? Perhaps Djibouti or Burundi. Just look at that thing you call APC. You are producing half cooked products. Your military equipments sucks, indeed they need to be polished a bit. No wonder your own government does not patronise your own locally made weapons. |
agaugust: south africa is robbing weak african nationsIt is good that our sources are quoted where it suit them most, but when we quote the same sources we are accused of propaganda. That's amazing! Anyway let's leave it from there. South Africa remain the only voice for Africa against imperialist invasion and have turned out to become the greatest enemy of France. We are slowly eliminating mission of France in Africa because the French remain the only former colonists who are still having interests in Africa. We have taken a tough stance with our foreign policy to consolidate our position against raids by NATO forces in Africa. We have clearly articulated this stance that Let Africans solve their own problems which does not sit well with France. Our next mission would be Madagascar where hundreds of our troops will be stationed. |
agaugust: the engine of the south african rooivalk helicopter you posted in photo above is made 100% in france by a french company then purchased fully built and imported into south africa, without it the helicopter is a piece of metal junk that sits on the floor in a farm like fat turkey !What I like is that patent rights of Rooivalk is in the hands of South Africans. It was a project that was stated in South Africa in 1984 under a heavy arms embago. Rooivalk is the product of SA, whether you hit your head against the brick or go to heaven. BMW is made in SA yet it remains the product of Germany. It doesn't matter whether that specific Rooivalk was assembled in France or not, but it remains the product of SA. |
chris365: your state of hypocrisy is already old on this thread. so why does your government need to train special forces and build special weapons to protect animals if they trully walk freely in Mzansi? everything you keep mentioning here exists in south africa but i don't expect a wasted graduate like you to understand that. You must learn to read well. Grass cutters are not Rhinos and nobody in SA has any interest to kill Grass cutters because we merely see them as rats. Rhinos are not being poached for their meat but their ivory(horn) which Chinese and Thai use as a herb to cure many sicknesses. |
chris365: off point. you south africans are threatened by us but won't admit it. that's why when we tell you our capabilities with proof you downplay it by derailing. tell me if that's not envy. What capabilities do you have without a single proof. We have asked you to quote a source for which you have failed and how would you expect us to buy your claims if your assertions are merely based on secret agenda? Would you also believe me if I also tell you that South Africa is also secretly developing a next generation fighter jets that will virtually outclass all the American fighter jets? Then, if that is the case I hope it will also be good for us to pass such unfounded claims. Easier said than done. |
patriot4: Some of my brothers want to stay in your country because they have less competition there. They easilly dominate you in any aspect of human endeavior. It is just like when superman comes to earth. Not only that, because many of them started experiencing nice life for the first time in SA, better food, better services and clean environment. How will one ever return back home if one has all that in any country. |
chris365: i thought you would be able to prove me wrong that your education is a waste. so it's true then?Population that is still hunting antelopes and grass cutters(Rats) is here masquerading as the most intelligent nation on the planet. Shame! Perhaps if you were in SA you could have rendered all the animals of Kruger National Park to almost a phase of extinction. Grass cutters in SA are in freedom because we have long moved from that era to the age of information. We are moving with times here in Mzansi. |
patriot4: Our place on the continent and in the world is in front of you and the more time goes the more distance will get between us. You are a country destined to be average, while Nigeria is destined to shine as the brightest star and fly like an eagle.A place with 70% its people still living in primitive environment using pits as sanitation with no electricity is behind us. Oh! You are just embarrassing yourself. No wonder your brothers do not want to return back to Naija and instead do whatever they could to acquire permanent citizenship here in Mzansi. |
chris365: A graduate from two universities that can't read!Plain and simple, Nigerians are not among the most intelligent people on the planet earth. What is it that put them on that list? Perhaps 419 scam, I guess. Bwahahahahaha!!! |
saengine: Then lets summarize today's particular topic. Nigeria does not produce missiles. When i say missile i mean anything similar to Javelin, TOW, Mokopa,Ingwe, Umkhonto etc etc. To put it in plain english nothing produced within the borders of Nigeria can track or shoot down something in sky or track and blow up something on the ground. Note im not talking about rockets and RPG's. The key word is track. Dont let your countryman fool you by posting a picture of a rocket. Something that many rocket enthusiasts around the world can also achieve, without degrees. This patriot is indeed a moemish by labelling Nigerians as the most intelligent people on the planet earth. The only west Africans that I respect in terms of intelligence are Ghanaians because they are pacesetters of Nigerian education system. Most Nigerians have schooled in Ghana. |
patriot4: Judging by the trajectory of that object everybody with intelligence must admit it was a guided missile. You are thinking just like my son. Who by the way told you that Nigerians are the most intelligent people on earth. Where do you put Japanese, Chinese and Indians? Nigerians do not behave like the most intelligent people on planet since they cannot even exhibit such qualities. If they were that intelligent why wouldn't they achieved anything that dominate the world of science. If they were that intelligent their road would have been shining like those of Japan. If they were that cleaver they could have been boasting about being the most developed country in Africa. They could have build themselves, fighter jets, Aircraft carriers and many more. It seems as if this thing of intelligence exist only among themselves because the world does not see them as intelligent people. Is this not really hypocrisy of the highest order? |
chris365: with all i've seen coming from your brain, you need a refund.Only because I have failed to agree with you on certain issues, particularly that Nigeria is not a true democracy, you then sought to discredit our institutions. You are very desperate, just like your education system. |
NaijaPikinGidi: Evade your own comments all you want but it still was you that denied that the bill had not been passed.Where have you seen me denying that? Yes the bill has been passed because it remains important for the proper functioning of our government. Do you expect SA to walk about the streets n.aked and be read like a book by spies and foreign media? NO! Every country in the world has a system in place to held certain sensitive information from the public. Without that law it will mean that we will not have secret and intelligence services. However there are some few provisions in that law which will not pass their constitutionality. Read: http://constitutionallyspeaking.co.za/new-improved-secrecy-bill-still-bad-still-unconstitutional/ |
NaijaPikinGidi: Another case of chronic selective amnesia! Hopefully you'll be brave enough to revert to my last comment and then tell readers where you made your response on this thread. How many times must I tell you that protection of state information bill is not something that is new in SA, it only needed to be amended and be passed as a law. I say again the protection of state information is a must to any country and we all understand that we need to have such a law in the country because we have the department of state security ( NIA and SASS) which will administer that ACCT. Such secret organisations cannot function effectively without that ACT. Our only concern were provisions which were amended and seem to contravene the constitution of the country. However, such provisions have now been repealed and the remain the winner. What is left is for the pres to sign that bill so that it can become a law. SA is not a banana republic. |

I am not convinced that missile was made in Nigeria. It could be any missile acquired from any countries and tested in Nigeria. Just like here in South Africa where many foreign countries are testing their missiles. |
patriot4: If there is no secrecy then there is no need for spies. Nigeria does produce missiles and has a coherent military policy unlike some countries (eg SA).Hey voetsek man. Do you think we are just some poor Nigerian kids who can just be lied to if anyone feels like it. Spare those lies to your kids because we all know that Nigeria does not produce any missiles. Secrecy or not, YOU ARE LYING. Bwahahahahaha!! |
saengine: Hehehehe. Own goal after own goal after own goal. I said which missiles are Nigeria training with if production of Swingfire ended in 1993? This is why there is now a debate about Nigeria producing its own missiles. And dont talk about Britain, they obviously bought the largest number of missiles and have the biggest stockpile. So you must pick one....either your troops are training by firing 1 missile a year since 1993 or you will come to battle with a big stock of missiles but non of the young fresh troops know how to fire themWith that post above, you have indeed committed murder. Since the production of swingfire ceased two decades ago it will only spell disaster in Nigerias arsenal and hopefully they wouldn't want to waste any of it in practice. I wonder what Agaugust response will be. |
NaijaPikinGidi: Where is MsauZA the UNISA law student? You ran away from your secrecy bill debate? You also ran away from Agaugust man to man physical challenge with Algeria? You pick your fights it would seem ... yet you still make a fool of yourself? Are you crazy? I have never engaged with Agaugust in any debate day before yesterday, yesterday and even today. What secrecy bill? I have answered all your questions related to the protection of state information bill and have told you that SA is not a banana republic. We do not take no for an answer because we know the true meaning of democracy as told to us by Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. Viva!! The democratic rainbow nation Viva!!! For your info, I have studied both in university of Potchefstroom and Wits University respectively. |
The true Giant of Africa (SA) remain both the top 20 world largest arms exporter and importer: http://www.sipri.org/research/armaments/transfers/measuring/recent-trends-in-arms-transfers |
Here under is the list of missile by countries and the only African country that I can see is the one and the only true Giant of Africa found on the Southern region of Africa, SOUTH AFRICA. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_missiles_by_country |
patriot4: Stop using the word fact. I think you don't know what it means.Nigeria does not have the capability of producing missiles. That pipe that you are smoking is too strong for you, I will only advice to leave it once and for all. |
patriot4: Nigeria is superior, you live with it.You are taking chances boy. South Africa is the world top 20 arms exporter. Nigeria does not even export a single unit of weapons to any country. Go and tell that thrash to your child. You do not have any capability of producing arms because of your small brains. Yes economically you can overtake SA because of your huge population which enjoys a better PPP( parity purchasing power) but also your population stand to disadvantage you with regard to income per capita, which will take years to level that of SA. Another important factor is that of infrastructural development which is still decades behind in Nigeria compared to SA. South Africa will still remain your masters even though your economy can surpass their economy. SA has hundreds of companies which are making such a huge profit in Nigeria and in return repatriate profit back home. |
patriot4: Read my post again, and this time pull your head out of your a**.Nigeria does not have any projectile capability. SA remains one of the few and perhaps the only country in Africa to manufacture missiles. |
NaijaPikinGidi: Chronic ignorance of the first order!!I may not know igbo, but surely I know that ike has something to do with power or strength. In that case all the ikechukwu and Chike will have to do nothing with the power with the prefix ike and suffix ike. |
chris365: and which of the evidence and proofs we posted have south africans accepted? more like pot calling kettle black. did you enjoy my lecture on differentiating Democracy from Human Rights? dullardI will never take any lectures from someone who knows nothing about democracy and whose country is still struggling to achieve true democracy. |
The most renowned battle of Isandlwana that the Zulu won. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Isandlwana |
Mike..ZA:Check: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/southafrica/6670739/Zulu-warriors-who-defeated-British-to-be-honoured.html |
Msauza: What is that Zulu for?Zuluike means power of the Zulu. What a good name. |
NaijaPikinGidi: Find out the meaning of "Zuluike" and you'll see why you shouldn't quickly get excited for nothing! What is that Zulu for? |
patriot4: No I think it is the opposit. And I think you are going for some more surprises in DRC.Why do you like to tell lies? Ain't you getting tired of always spitting out lies. |
Thiza: No matter what you said, do or proof in this thread as long as your a South African, many Nairas would reject any ample evidence/proof that their country comes second fiddle to South Africa. Such a belief stems from a superior complex that theirs is the best country in Africa on almost every field.....Proof was posted ranging from videos, photos, links etc and still they believe Naija is the best (True of course as long as your a Nigerian), DENEL products was availed and Nairas were spitting rejection and instead gloried Egypt or Algeria, with Egypt military relying solely on the American aid for survival. No! Jealousy is what motivates them to reject the obvious truths. |

Maybe its classified like your secret balloons. Or maybe its an old missile the world stopped making 20 years ago.
. If the threat is wire guided and not laser guided (which it does detect) the missile is picked up as incoming ordinace such as an RPG. Meaning unless your swingfire is travelling at 1m/s it will still be shot down.
