NaijaPikinGidi: You are talking jargon! 60% - 75% of rated science and technology lecturers in South African Universities are foreign nationals!!

Now back to military matters!!
I disagree. Less than 10% yes.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 8:07pm On Jul 22, 2013
patriot4: ah ha ha, verry funny.
We are using a method verry similar to that of Israel against its terrorists.
First, you kill most of the terrorists, you destroy their weapons and seize most of their money.
Then you secure the borders by building fences and by patrolling it with drones and jets and manned patrols and by building military bases near the borders. You also inject a lot of spies in the most affected communities.
An imam could be a spy, a boko haram member could be a spy, your mum could be a spy, the terrorists will never know.
Finally, when we have reduced the problem significantly, we flood the streets with policemen and camera surveilliance and keep an eye opened while military bases surround the formerly affected areas and the strategically vulnerable areas.
Kaboom, boko harm, turns to boko hallal !
You cannot keep on patroling for the better part of your life, somewhere you will lose focus and let me tell you BooooooooooooooMMMM!! There it detonates. You can never fight people who have pledged their lives on Jihad especially if they are one of your own.

NaijaPikinGidi: The truth is bitter! NRF database should be your guide. Conservative statistics will reveal that 60% - 75% of science and technology rated lecturers in South African universities are foreign scholars. With that in mind, majority of the local South African lecturers are white while the blacks account for 5% - 10% of rated science and technology lecturers.

Your bitterness blinds you to the fact that any Nigerian lecturer in South Africa at least had his/her first degree and Masters in Nigeria ... cool cool

We are your trainers! grin grin
Wrong!! Former homelands of SA had many black SA academics and those were;

1. Bophuthatswana- University of Bophuthatswana (UNIBO) now NWU had many black professors
- Medical university of Southern Africa (Medunsa)
- Setlagole Univ of Technology now Tshwane Univ of Tech
2 Transkei- University of Transkei (Unitra)

3 Kwazulu- University of Zululand

4 Lebowa- University of Turfloop now Univ of Limpopo

5 Venda- University of Venda

6 QwaQwa- University of QwaQwa(Uniqwa) now Univ of Free State

7 Central- University of Fort Hare (Nelson's and his Comrades have studied there)

Those universities mentioned above came about as a result of policy of separate amenities formulated by apartheid regime and have produced many black professors as a result. All of those universities were former black only universities and many Africans at large including president Mugabe studied at those universities as they were African universities during then.

Indians were restricted to study at Univ of Durban WestVille and coloureds at univ of western Cape.

Certain number of black(Indians, Africans, coloured) Medical students and law students were allowed to study at former white schools. So you arguments about whites is baseless the only thing that seems to be the problem is ratio taking into account that white constitute only 10% of the total population. Hence, In terms of the ANC's affirmative action policy it is expected of whites to occupy 10% at every workplace, boards, including university management's

patriot4: I don't understand the sense of your talk, but I can say few things:
First of all the terrorists are mostly foreigners.
Second of all their nationality is not important, they are terrorists.
We are not trying to make them give up we are killing them.
And no, killing the terrorists who are aimed at killing law abiding Nigerians doesn't mean killing all Nigerians.
It seems the whites have fvcked your brain up.
You think like an i.mbecile.
It doesn't help because the North is already compromised. They will keep on waiting until everything subside and regroup again until you hear another BOOOOOOOM!!! There goes another explosion.

patriot4: We are engaged in a fight against terrorists who are financed by your white brothers. They are trying to make us their slaves, but we will rather die than become slaves.
Moreover, other big nations like Russia have had that same sort of problems: Chechnia. Israel has had that same type of problems, Algeria has had that same sort of problems, it is called terrorism.
If you got yourself up to speed then you would know that our soldiers have destroyd all the terrorist camps and that are in Nigeria, and has arrested most of them. Now boko haram has been reduced to a level the police can handle, but to speed things up, the soldiers stay in the zone, which is the far-north-east.
On the other hand south africans are not fighting for their freedom, you have been enslaved and you are happy with your slavery. No fight. What a shame. Although I got a report saying you guys will fight after the death of Mandela.
I am waiting to see that and I might come to help.
Terrorists are Nigerians and you'd rather kill all Nigerians for mission possible. They have vowed never to give up. South Africans are not crazy and for what are we going to fight for after the passing on of Madiba?
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 6:48pm On Jul 22, 2013
patriot4: Black south africans, rebel, reclaim your land.
The whites still own 80% of your land.
It is your land!
Don't believe in their b.ullshit rainbow, because they are on top of the rainbow and you are on the bottom.
Oops!! You bounced. Are you trying to polarise SA chief? Your plans failed already because you cannot divide the rainbow nation.

patriot4: This is why south Africa is still an apartheid state, and this is why Nigeria, the only realy independent state in Black Africa keeps fighting and keeps getting bad press from the white media which controles our local media:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7p_qkvwPtD8
Black south africans, apartheid never stopped, it only changed its form.
What you have is a puppet president who is only there to play to the gallery, the true leaders of your country are the same people as those who were treating you as slaves during apartheid, and they are still using the same principles, only well disguised.
The only independent state in Africa as you say but you kill one another like insects. How many bombings have we seen in Nigeria now of late and what example are you before Africa?
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 6:33pm On Jul 22, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: In your dreams? Of course you know who your teachers and Professors are! NIGERIANS!! grin grin
Oops!! You misfired. Majority of professors in SA universities are South Africans followed by Europeans. Our only few Nigerian lectures were never schooled in Nigeria, hence were either educated in SA, Europe or America.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 6:25pm On Jul 22, 2013
chris365: since our neighbours are too weak to fight us, why don't you beg your government to declare war with us. I promise you it won't last a month or two and SANDF will run faster than they did when Seleka defeated them.

You should be ashamed to brag that you fought a 23 year war and without victory. And to think that you fought an inexperience army. Bow your head in shame you this bloody slowpoke.

nigerian military is far more experienced and have better achievements than your model agency you call SANDF. Facts are there for you to see.

If you want to dispute it, why don't you post SANDF achievements till date. Olodo buruku
No way, do you want SANDF to commit atrocities? Some of us still love our poor Nigerians

chris365:

SANDF and it's citizens are retards. Thats why they were killed and maimed like chickens by a rag tag rebel.

Because it took SA 23 years to lose a war doesn't mean all wars have to be fought that long you DUMMY.

No country in west africa can take on Nigeria. Thats why the conflicts we've had with them were very swift with Nigeria ending it before it even starts.
Cameroon had to report us to UN cos they know how a war with us would have been. (we already tasted their blood in bakassi) Even france was gonna fight alongside them but we stood our ground and were ready. Why do you think france hates us.

If you would like to know how Nigeria will win a war with a strong country. Why don't you petition your government to declare war even though your military is already dead. You this dumb head.
How many of rebels have we maimed like chickens? Estimated number is around 800

NaijaPikinGidi: You can't hide or twist or wish away known facts. You seem to be dying a painful death by hanging on to your weak straws on this thread. At least you agree that your brain capacity remains at 33%. grin
Which is equivalent to Nigerias best simply because our education system is not the same, SAs = high and Nigerias=Low. Same as when you study subjects on Higher Grade and Standard Grade which are two different things. HG pass when converted to SG produces better pass mark, so my matric certificate when converted to Nigerias matric certificate will produce better pass mark.

agaugust: since that Epic post from @patriot4 finally put nail to the coffin of your usual false claim that nigeria never fought war against any country, and your shame multiplied seven fold grin and you feel like d.ying now with envy, i will help you to d.ie quicker with a few extracts for you to read and cry cry cry cry cry

In April 1983, elements of the Nigerian Army’s 21 Armoured Brigade of the 3 Armoured Division and the Nigerian Air Force’s Tactical Air Command stationed in the far northeastern city of Maiduguri launched combined military operations to dislodge units of the Chadian military who had invaded and occupied 19 Nigerian islands on the Lake Chad which straddles their common border. The Nigerians counterattacked and reclaimed all 19 islands and went further to occupy 32 islands on the Chadian side. Those Chadian islands were eventually given up by the Nigerians.

In May 1987, Cameroonian security forces similarly invaded and occupied sixteen Nigerian communities near their shared frontier. They were were ultimately beaten back by elements of the Nigerian Army’s 3 Armoured Division stationed in remote Borno and the affected territories repossessed.

In December 1993, elements of the 13 Amphibious Brigade of the Nigerian Army’s 82 Division, invaded the Bakassi Peninsula straddling their common frontier with Cameroon. Thus began a 15-year long militarily opposed occupation of what is now Cameroonian territory which ultimately ended in 2008.

At about the same time as Nigerian troops invaded the Bakassi Peninsula, thirty three(33) communities on the Cameroonian side of the Lake Chad to the Far North were occupied by as many as 70,000 Nigerian citizens who had emigrated from the Nigerian side of the frontier where the Lake Chad waters had receded and established 33 settlements on the Cameroonian side of the shared frontier. All attempts by Cameroonian forces, which peaked in 1994-5,which were aimed at reclaiming the said 33 communities were repulsed by elements of the 3 Armoured Division’s 21 Brigade. These communities only reverted to Cameroonian sovereignty under the terms of the Green Tea Agreement which settled the myriad of contentious issues between Nigeria and Cameroon.

In short, Nigeria has never engaged in any war with any country. When I speak about a war I do not speak about a conflict or about a war that was about to start and suddenly come to stop through intervention. I want a real war that take ages 5-20years where even UN or US could not do anything about it. Bush war took about 23years long to finally come to end. Nigeria has got no such war in its history with other countries.

I repeat Nigeria has never exchange fire with any country other than a long list of peace keeping and enforcement mission under either UN or AU in collaboration with other Countries. Having participated in Monuc Mission (Oct 2004-May2005) myself in DRC (Goma,Beni, Luberu and Kindu), I know that it is not something one country can be proud of since many countries take part. Many countries from Pakistan, Bolivia and India take part in such missions. Moreover, you hardly exchange fire in such missions, no wonder many troops misbehave by drinking. Same as in SA vs Cuba, Angola, and Russian Mercenaries, Germany vs SA in South West Africa and Egypt vs Israel cannot be said about Nigeria.

patriot4: You have shown yourself as a clown for too long now.
My fellow Nigerians know your question is silly, but out of kindness they are trying to educate you and to play into your game while providing you counterexamples.
And for your info: Nigeria fought against a combination of sierra leonian army and qaddafi trained sierra leonian rebels while under arms embargo.
Nigeria fought against prtugalian, french, israeli, and south african supported biafra under while we were under arms embargo.
But still your question is dumb.
Can you please attach the source because is seems as if its only South African fools who back their facts with citation.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 9:11pm On Jul 21, 2013
patriot4: 1) Nigeria fought chad when chad invaded Nigerian islands, it was a quick victory (it was in the 70's).
2) Nigeria fought cameroon in bakassi (it was a quick victory also)
3) Nigeria fought Biafra while Nigeria was under arms embargo (3 year war which was called Africa's worst war) in that war more firearms where used than in the entire second world war.
4) Nigeria fought Sierra leone's army which was buffed up by some 30000 qaddafi trained mercenaries, they called themselves the west side boys.
5)Nigeria fought many insurgents who are stronger than many national armies including the army that got whooped by seleka, SANDf, that's right.
Now go back to your fictitious library.
Please I have requested you to attach reliable source for everyone to read, otherwise we won't buy your claims.

agaugust: this topic has been treated on this forum many times. please axe and hammer open your s.kull today and insert this information below :

south africa's master sweden that built and sold Gripen jets to your country has NEVER been tested in any modern war against even ordinary rebels. so can south africa defeat sweden in war ?

south africa's new jungle warfare training master brazil has never fought any war at all as a modern nation. brazil's army has not fired one bullet against any enemy. yet south africa is begging to learn jungle warfare under brazilian army.

will south africa defeat brazil in war ?

turkey, south korea, north korea, ukraine, etc are also on the list of countries ranked above south africa in military power, yet these countries have never fought against any other country except civil wars and rebels.

can south africa defeat any of those countries above ?

see why i sometimes have to insult south african brains for poor thinking faculty ? grin grin grin

army infantry of north korea, nothing but a civil war experiance, can south african army infantry defeat these boys in city/urban warfare ?

I have visited many places from libraries to military museums and even browsed the net in attempt to research about the combat history of Nigeria as independent country. I have wanted to find out if Nigeria had ever exchanged fire in its history of existence with any country other than being used as mercenary by their former colonists. Unfortunately, I could not find any, hence I am appealing to everyone who might be having reliable sources to help in this regard.

agaugust: nigerian army day celebrated this month is for 150 years existence. world wars I and II are included in our combat experience. nigeria defeated japan and germany in both world wars at locations we deployed estimated over 50,000 nigerian soldiers.

anybody who does not like it can go kiss a naked live electricity cable of 10,000 volts grin
Nigeria has no any track record in respect of war with other countries. In Africa we have experienced many wars but I have never heard of Nigeria fighting other countries. Nigeria is very young and almost the age of Mandela and has never exchanged fire with any country other than one of his own who wanted to break away.

chris365: second should be between Nigeria and Algeria.
Between the two, Nigeria has been tested and known to be tougher in battle and strategy.
Egypt (cos they have a lot of weapons and manpower although never won any war but make we mange am like that)

Nigeria (having been involved in conflicts both domestic and foreign from independence to 2013, and known to have won all, Nigeria should be in first place but make we manage second sha. God dey)

Algeria ( Although not been in any recent conflicts but we have to attribute their success of chasing AQIM out of the country. Very well trained sha "karate things"wink

Ethiopia ( this country is a badass. Daz all)

South Africa ( left for me this country will not be on this list. Aside that they have shiny weapons, their sissy livered military was finally tested in CAR and they fled like chicken about to be slaughtered for christmas. Therefore don't deserve to be on this list but for their designer weapons, let manage them.)

thats my list. Any one that doesn't like it should go and eat sh*t.
Nigeria had never been tested at any war. Infact, to put everything in short Nigeria has never ever fought any country in its life history, so now tell me what measures should we use to rate their strength in relation with other countries. I am really flabbergasted of the fact that nobody would ever boldly claim with reliable sources that Nigeria ever won or was defeated by any country simply because no records exist. Even defeat in any war does not mean a complete but a track record. Nigeria remains a poor military with a small budget and so any man with a right state of mind would never rate such military to be the second in Africa.

Source that was never confirmed from an eye witness who also counted the injured. It is very unfortunate because as an eye witness you cannot differentiate between those who died and injured, since both of them appear to be lying still on the ground. It is only the doctor can tell.

Meanwhile, the death toll of seleka rebels was confirmed by doctors without borders who helped save lives of Seleka Rebels.
