I heard it takes around 1 month for the GCMS note to arrive, waiting for that timeline to reapply might not meet up with her EDD

If you can. Apply for SOWP first and after couple of weeks put in for VV again with reason being that SOWP takes longer period to process and you urgently need to be with your wife. They will likely cancel the VV and give u the SOWP but uve achieved speed.

I would advise you reapply for visiting so that you meet up with the EDD, and your justification would still hold.

A visa officer should understand that it is necessary to be with your wife at this period. There are ways to write emotionally. Please put more effort in your LOE.

You may consider SOWP if her EDD is still far (perhaps, 6 months).

These are exactly same refusal reasons my hubby got 2 weeks ago. I think they are trying to discourage VV for spouses of student and encourage people to apply for SOWP. Just my thought.

Though we re-applied with strong evidences of family and home ties. I'll suggest u channel your LOE at addressing family ties well. U can't do much abt Travel history at this time than to explain why you haven't travelled all this while. All the best

I am now scared of writing more mails to quicken then process. Since 8th of December, biometrics only got updated on January 24th...How long does it really take to complete eligibility? Why are they rejecting Visitor's Visa applications?, the approval rate for VV has certainly hit the bottom these days. Even rejecting a pregnant woman's application? What do I do nitori oloun!!!

Wow. So sad to know ure still waiting. My husband VV too was rejected 2weeks ago. I pray you get a favourable response soon

Atleast some persons are still getting positive responses, congrats to them. We remain hopeful...Application is still in process, form what I gathered, complex applications take longer time, I wonder what is complex about my application.

My dear.. forget that complex gist. Its just depends on who is handling your application. My friend applied for her husband and 2 kids and got approved within a month mine that is just hubby is over a month. Nothing about complex its just grace

First time application on the new IRCC portal. No previous application on GC Key.
Visitor’s visa for spouse.
Study permit for the minors.
Date of Application – October 31, 2021
Biometrics completed – November 3, 2021
PPR for Spouse’s Visit visa – January 14, 2022
PPR for Minors Study permit – January 19, 2022.

Hello. Our case is same... lol. I also got approved Nov 19th and I applied with my 2years old. He is yet to get an approval

I dont know what your situation is but I've decided not to worry myself about his cause it will surely come. I plan to travel alone now, then apply for my husband with reason stating that he needs to bring my son and that my son's approval was delayed and couldn't wait for him before travelling blablabla.

You just need to keep sending mails if you must travel with your child at this time, hopefully it will come soon but just to be rest assured it will definitely come.

I have been following this trend for a very long time and good news is I got my PPR on 19th of nov although I applied with my 3yrs old daughter. We both did Medicals on 9th of November and medical was confirmed passed for both me and my daughter 17th of November, however I’m yet to get PPR for my daughter. I dedicate this testimony to God Almighty, the one who got times and season in his hands. Though it was a long wait, but it happened when it was meant to be.

October 2020, I decided to explore the study route after several attempt at EE and PNP with no success. Without robust knowledge and desperation, I had opted for a PGC instead of Masters (No Career Progression) at my first attempt cause i already had a masters which was declared.

First application (Self Sponsored)

Applied === January 31st 2021

School === Niagara College Ontario

Course === Intl Business Mgt (PGC)

NSE for MBS only ==== February 18th

Medical passed =====. March 2nd

Refusal and bvl. ====. May 5th 2021.

I left nairaland after this, as I was really down. I however contacted Mr. Frankrobbn1 of www.fandrglobal.com. He asked I ordered my notes and also get a Masters admission immediately while I wait for my notes. When my Gcms notes came out it revealed, I didn’t declare my former US refusal of which I was never refused a US visa. (I applied for Dropbox and they referred me for an interview. Checked for dates for almost 5months I never got one. Got tired in May 2019 and dropped the whole process. Now my GCMs revealed I was denied visa in 2018 without any refusal communication from US embassy. This was very embarrassing and annoying). All these I addressed in my 2nd application.

VO also had concerns about me leaving my kids; age 4&2. So Frank advised i re-applied with the 2years old this time as the 4years old and my husband served as ties back home. Financial asset, purpose of visit. All these were addressed by Frank (Doff my hat for this dude, e sabi work remain. He took my story like it was his and brought out a perfect script. The way he related my previous masters to the new program was so amazing). I got admission from UCW and UNB, both under 2weeks. Frank advised I go with UCW even though I desperately wanted UNB but after weighing certain options, I opted for UCW.

Second application timeline (Self sponsored)

Applied with all NSE==== June 30th

Program ==== MBA

School ==== UCW

Applied for my Notes Aug 6th, came back blank September 5th. It was obvious nothing was done then, The only thing I picked was that my secondary office was Lagos; I was excited about this as long as it’s not london.. lol. Decided not to apply for notes again till a decision came.

Started sending soft mails to Nairobi in August shortly after applying for my notes. Profile was still same as at when submitted but however started classes online. This was a tough decision as my work in Lagos is really demanding but I struggled through it though with several days of Migraines... lol. It also took my mind off IRCC as I had several assignments and project deadlines to meet, couple with my work. It really helped my mental sanity

PPR: November 19th. 2021.

God is faithful to his word and whatever He says he will do, He surely will

After 1 visit visa rejection, 1 study visa rejection... God has done it and my mouth is filled with praise to him alone who is able to make dreams turn reality.

No land or asset document submitted. This was a very big fear as almost all approval timeline I saw then had plenty land documentations. But Frank assured me I was going to pull through without it. Frank is highly recommended guys, though he is a busy man so if you plan to use him, you have to gather a lot of patience... lol.

I don't know if i am allowed to talk about agents here but since i was really busy when I was applying last year I went with infoplace canada. She helped me get a lawyer in Canada. They handled most of it and all I had to do was go through the documents and get the notarized here in Nigeria. If you have any more questions please let me know.

Did you pay the tuition deposit 7900?

Oh definitely. The 7900 is a must before they can issue you unconditional letter of acceptance for your visa application

Just thought to share this as it might be helpful to someone in the future. If u have funds in Stanbic Mutual, AXA Masard investment and u intend applying through NSE route. Kindly liquidate same and allow it sit in your account to allow for mybankstatement. Some VOs don't recognise it. Speaking from personal experience.

There is no more admission for fall(September) 2021 as far as am knowledgeable about it and accurate in information.
Admission has bEen closed since. Applicants are already submitting their visa applications for fall
You can only apply for winter 2022(Jan) and prepare ahead.

This is not true pls. Some schools are still giving admission depending on the program. Some schools are still trying to fill up spaces. I know someone who applied for fall 2 weeks ago to 2 schools and got admission from one of them last week. Get in touch with the school and find out if they still have space available for Fall 2021

I saw on their page that it was 1 year program but upon receiving the admission letter, I discovered it was 7 months 15 days
Start date 7th sept 21 and completion date is 22 April 22

Dat duration covers for your course work ie Lectures. The remaining 4months should cover for your coop. Check if you have coop attached to your program. Everything should total 1yr
