Klinee: God say u shuld take him out of your land and kill him(stoning) dat he deserve not to live.dat he has commited atrosity and abormination.that his blood will be on his head(which means u dat kill him did not sin).it was written bold in the bible.hope u are clear?
Please quote the chapter and verse, surely you are reading the OLD TESTAMENT! Jesus Christ could NEVER have said that! Don't use the Bible to justify killing of innocent people. To be Gay is not a crime against humanity. This is just moral hypocrisy at work. The people that brutally tortured and murdered this man are the Criminals here and I assure you they can MURDER any one for the fun of it, even you! Once these kind of acts are condoned in the name of JUNGLE JUSTICE , be sure no one is safe, no matter the reason.

@Slimmy05, gosh ,you really have so much time for something you claim not to be interested in. I find that people who spend so much time condemning a particular thing, secretly in their hearts want that thing so much. If you do, just get in touch, I'm willing to,answer all your questions and help you succeed.

Remmy488: The answer to ur question is YES,locate a homeland(social security administration) dept close to you a week after you enter into the country. You need to go there and apply in person ok.
No you don't have to go, my niece went there yesterday and was told the SSN would be sent to her in 3 weeks from the date of her arrival. She need not have gone. They said that if after 3 weeks she doesn't receive it then she should come back to them.

Gosh, I wonder why this Slimmy guy and Miss Ope are so negatively vocal about FLP? Join, don't join, does it really matter? Nigeria has 150 million people, some will, some wont, so what? Does everybody drink Coca Cola? No, but Coca Cola is still selling. If your interested in Flp, do your research and don't listen to anyone. Buy products you will use and use them, consume them, whatever, business comes, some succeed, some don't, move on! No matter what anyone tells you about any business, the only person who can make it succeed is YOU! That it didn't work for you 6 years ago, does not stop the fact that it worked for some. Why do people in the same class, who attended the same lectures fail exams while some passed? Let no one deceive you, if you want to give something a try, try it, your experience may be different. Forever Living is feeding many people right now and will continue for years to come, join them or not, they will keep on moving, regardless of what anyone says. @Somex10202 the products are for you to consume for better health and beauty, share same with family and friends, do the business right and it will treat you right.

kingcobra2003: Guys, I really want u to get the full picture of hw it went. I am in d office now but will try.
it went thus:

VO: Why do u wanna study @ Columbia?
Me: Columbia is an Ivy League school one of the best categories of uni in d world. It has a rich array of courses germane to my practice areas.
VO: OK,wat course are u going to study there?
me: LL.M,
VO: (LOOKS AT MY I-20) I see here advanced Legal research/studies, general.
me: it is just nomenclature. it is a higher degree in law, also called LL.M. Its the same thing.
VO: Where did u do ur undergrad?
me: mentioned
vo: when did u graduate?
me: mentioned, plus d yr
vo:what hav u been doing since then?
me: after uni, I went to law sch and then work
vo: so u are already working as a lawyer?
me: yes, as an associate in a leading law firm (showed her my ID Card also told her abt my employment letter)
vo:wats an associate?
me: first step in a law firm, after which onw can be promoted to partner which is the highest position
vo: so, who's sponsoring u?
me: my uncle
vo: why would ur uncle sponsor u?
me: he grew up with ma father who took absolute responsibility for him. saw him thru sch and now he has a sort of obligation to do same. I have no dopubt about his sponsorship
vo: how much does he earn monthly
me: he owns an integrated services firm and doesn't earn monthly as an epmployee
vo: gimme an estimate of his monthly earning
me: it may be difficult to say as he doesn't earn monthly salary, he gets his pay as he performs contracts
vo: ok, how much does he pay himself monthly
me: (at this tym I was forced to mention a figure since she insisted so much) about 15 to 20 million
vo: (she looked at a chat that has d exchange rates)do u hav financial docs to show his earnings?
me: yes (showed it to her)
vo: (looks thru it and looks back at me) the figures here don't add up
me: that's the statement I got from him
vo: do u have another statement?
me: no
vo (types in something in the computer) unfortunately, I cannot issue u visa at this tym, the reason is contained in this letter (issues me their usual letter)
Everything went well till you mentioned your sponsor. The VO's find it difficult to understand this concept of uncle as benefactor! Once you bring it up, their radars go on. From there on, their scrutinity is at the height! Couple it with excessive income, unless your uncle happens to be Adenuga or some such, hmm they pounce and shake your evidence like a rabid dog, until they find something to tear to bits! Unfortunately they most times seem to find something.

GboyegaD: Did you read where she said she is a frequent traveller and not that she travelled whenever she was a child? Besides, she will have her reasons which is not open to us thus, it might be difficult to reach a conclusion on this thus, the need to just profer solution and move on.

@ Poster, you can simply tell the VO that over your frequent travels, you have been awed by the education system and following the continuous strikes of ASUU and the fact that you have already spent some time after high school and graduation date is not sure, you choose to go study in a more organised setting where quality is not sacrificed on the altars of personal gains of various staff organisations. I will suggest you apply to a top notch school though.
I doubt you understood the context. Are you aware that Many ppl who travelled as children with their parents and frequently after, are denied visa's as students seeking admission? There are no cut and dried answers here, the best advice you can give anyone is to stick as closely to the truth as possible, and try and avoid complicated situations in your story. Neaten up your circumstances as much as you can. Also, putting down our country's education system as a reason to travel to further your education may not necessarily go down well with the visa officer. They know exactly what Is going on and if they don't, they have google in front of them to find out. Saying less is better.
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by MsSantaClaus(f): 12:58am On Jul 16, 2013
misstoyo: After all the tough criticism. You haven't offered any solution. All you did was point a finger at me. Why not come up with a solution. Isn't that why I'm herehuh?
I am not here to criticize anyone, or point fingers dear, just look at it as role playing, I'm the Visa Officer. You have less than 10 minutes to get it right and no matter how much we coach you on what to say and how to say it, in the end its just you and the VO.
As for offering solutions, we can only advice, since we don't have ALL THE DETAILS. We are assuming so many things, so the advice is of a general nature. No one can really tell you what to answer because we don't know the questions, any prepared answer can be torn to bits with the next question and you are stuck. My sincere advise to you, not a solution ,would be to finish a course of study and then go for a higher degree abroad, but yet again I do not know the circumstances, so , I'm not sure you can wait that long.
The tidier your situation is the better your chances are, if you leave a lot of room for questions, they will find a way to trip you up.
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by MsSantaClaus(f): 10:26pm On Jul 15, 2013
OjaP: Take it easy bro. You don't know her or what she is facing. Don't jump into conclusion please. All you should have done is profer a solution and let the rest slide. You're a man.
Sometimes, tough criticism is required! The Visa Officers have no time for sentiment. If you come here for advice, you have to be ready for the truth so as not to be misguided . If I was a visa officer I would honestly wonder if this person is a serious student at all or just wants to go to the US and continue moving from school to school and maybe become an easily influenced person (think of the Boston Bomber ) the devil has work for idle minds! Having traveled as a child is not the same as being an adult, in the first instance your parents are responsible for you and your actions, as an undergraduate student you are more or less responsible for your own actions. This is what the VO will consider. Your reasons for moving from two schools will not be private when it comes to the interview and if the reasons are not good enough to satisfy the VO, then, I don't need to say more..

TravelRe: Diversity Visa Immigrant? Welcome To America by MsSantaClaus(f): 1:59pm On Jul 15, 2013
General Advice to anyone in the house. The Medical Report has an expiry date 6 months after it was issued. Make sure you travel before it expires. You will be delayed at the airport for over 6 hours and then asked to go and do the tests again within 30 days. They will not accept anything that is not in the envelope , so if you suspect yours has expired, call the American embassy ASAP and ask for guidance . It will cost you money to redo it in America. Tell everyone you know who may have this issue.
Thanks for the response,As at now i already did the TOEFL Exam but my score is somehow low,but i am hoping on GOD on making another MOVE to the embassy for another interview Maybe something Good will come out this time around,But i will just say exactly what you have just Said now when the VO ask if i had the SAT,Thank you so much i really appreciate....

Here is how my Previous interview went----the first and the second one

Me---Goodmorning sir.
VO.MORNING,pass your passport and application form
Me-- i passed them\(But to be sincere i was seriously shaking so scared}
VO--Why are you going to the US
Me--To Study
VO---DO YOU HAVE SAT?
ME--NO
VO--what is the name of your school and why did you choose this school?
me--i was saying Totally rubbish, all because i was scared then,i forgot all i have practiced at home,i was telling him about my skool when he is asking me what is the name of my skool and why did you choose this skool?
VO---So you are going to the skool because u like the skool or what? And he didnt let me say anything again and pass back my documents and i left in a very bad mood nd i was sick all of that day.....That was how the first one went

The second interview...i almost GOT MY VISA HERE THO
ME----GoodMorning ma,with a smile
VO--Morning,pass me your passport and application form with a pretty smile
me--i passed them
VO--why did you choose this skool?
ME----i choose this particular university because of the good instinct moral they pass to their student and the praticals they do on a daily Basics in my program .
VO--Who is sponsoring you?
Me---MY MUM
VO--WHAT DOES SHE DO?
ME--SHE IS A BUSINESS WOMAN,SHE HAVE A WAREHOUSE COMPANY WHERE SHE SUPPLY,SALE AND DISTRIBUTE OF ASSORTED DRINKS AND ALSO TRAVEL ABROAD TO BUY GOOD LIKE BAGS,SHOES AND GOLDS AND SELL BACK HERE IN NIGERIA.
VO--Okay and she was looking at her system, she already had my passport with her...she is about to tear Ticket for me and we are both silent. and went like this again
VO----DO YOU HAVE SAT?
ME---NO I DONT
VO--KAY
ME---PRAYING INSIDE ME AGAIN AND SHAKING
VO--AM sorry i wont be able to grant your visa and pass back my documents.
me---crying and went out
As you did not write any, you'll have to come up with a very cogent reason for not writing any test. The usual my-school-waived-it-for-me alibi will fail to work for you at the interview. Instead say that, 'my SS3 subjects in my high-school transcripts and my SSCE were evaluated and because of my excellent performance in them since SS3 subjects are the core subjects, my department waived the SAT for me

After reading this persons interview, if I was a VO , this bolded part may be difficult to believe. He doesn't sound intelligent enough for anything to be waived , it may be nerves, but in my opinion he should go and take all the necessary tests and get high scores in them before attempting another interview. It will boost his confidence during the interview as well as show the interviewer that he is serious and not just desperate to go to the US. Going again without those tests just smacks of unwillingness to do the right thing and desperation.

dixon4u: Forumite, please i need your professional advice on this . i am a selectee for the DV2014 but i'm having some issues.the person that registered for me used a different name from the one i have on my credentials. my surname is the only correct name. please, what can i do? i dont wanna loose this opportunity o...
I'm using below example for your understanding.
The name i was registered with is Diamond, Adeleke Michael
My credentials carried Diamond, Leke Olamide
I bear all the name though.
I've been able to get my NPC birth cert and international passport to carry the names as Diamond, Adeleke Michael Olamide and also included Olamide as other name in the forms i sent to KCC. My concern now is my results that carry Diamond, Leke Olamide.
Do i need to get an affidavit for change of name from Diamond, Leke Olamide to Diamond, Adeleke Michael Olamide?
PLEASE I NEED YOUR ADVICE O
If the three names are on the birth certificate then I see no problem. Adeleke is Leke, and your name is Michael, try and gather other original documents that bear all three names as proof.

The interview went like this;
VO: goodmorning
ME: good morning sir
VO: you are going to wiu for ur masters degree?
ME: yes sir
VO:did u write any standardize test?
ME: yesI did, I did toefl and gre
Vo: let me see the gre
Me:I showed him. Though the result is low, I just handed it over to him. So he check and returned it bck to me
Vo: so your uncle his sponsoring you?
Me: yes sir
Vo: what is the assurance that ur uncle can sponsor you.
Me: he sponsored my undergarduate program and he has a good job now
Vo: how much does ur undergraduate cost?
Me: close to 2million naira

Vo: what does he do
Me: he is a petroleum engineer
Vo: can I have his stmt of acct?
Me: I gave him.( It was a scanned copy I told u abt tht I said the bank said they will send the original to the embassy
Vo: he typed on his system for a very long time and said sorry bla bla.

My honest opinion on this refusal is that it has nothing to do with the bank statement. The embassy's are aware that some banks give copies on white paper with designated signatures. It is allowed.

The real Problem was the choice of sponsor, 2 million naira spread over 4 years is not the same as paying for a Post Graduate program abroad. They find it hard to believe that your UNCLE who is a salary earner would foot this Bill. I may be wrong, but, from my experience, this is what I believe to be the problem.
pedstan: Tecno telecoms nig pays 20k to Bsc holder with unfriendly working conditions. Even at the end of the month you are not sure of collecting the 20k due to so many deductions. Late comming attract 500naira penalty. Staffs are empoyed and sack at random at their care center by the indian head. Their slogan "customer is their god, their staff is their slave" what a shame. Not recomended for Nigerian graduate.
I don't say their attitude is right, but I'm curious, why come late? You wanted a job , they gave you one, then you come late, I don't get it! They are within their rights to deduct. If you don't want deductions then don't come late , Period! Have you used the clock in system before, you punch your card when you come to work and a time stamp appears, you clock out at the end of the day, another time stamp, ur salary is calculated per the time stamp! So what is recommended for fresh graduates? To saunter into the office when they please , yet at he end of the day collect full salary? Then we wonder why so many are unemployed! Try it in Chevron or Mobil or a Bank!

mujeebt99: Wakanow is pure 419ers. They quote their fake prices on their website. After booking and making payment into their bank account, they call and notify you that u have to pay more money, that the ticket fare has gone up. When u compare the money to what is on the airline site, u discover it is a total lie. Imagine their fake PNR number could expire less than 1 hour after booking on their site; when you can genuily hold a PNR of klm,ba,delta, emirate, etc for atleast between 48 hours to 72 hours. These wakanow.com cheated me and I believe they will dearly pay for it. "4dzlec" that s was their fake PNR. I know their might have agent, worker/staff on NL because I can read comments on some people trying to speak good of you. for where NA LIE. investigate on my CASE via your fake PNR u gave me. WAKANOW NA MODERN ONLINE THIEF OOOO.
I used wakanow in December to buy a tkt to London and I can honestly say I had no problem whatsoever with them. Iv bought another tkt to the US and its been a good experience so far too. I will be traveling soon with that tkt and I don't envisage any issues. They have been extremely courteous and their follow up, very pleasant, calling on the day of my flight to remind me to get to the airport on time. Having said this, I think most agencies and airlines have issues once in a while, like everyone else. I travel a lot and iv come across all sorts. Also at times , we the passengers are at fault , because we don't do the right things and expect waivers, when we don't get them we say its wickedness etc I don't believe Wakanow are 419 and its scandalous of anyone to say so. They are offering a good service and every business has its ups and downs, one bad apple shouldn't spoil the whole basket. Even if I have a bad experience with them doesn't mean, they are. I can't tell you how many times klm have lost my luggage, does that make them 419? I don't work for wakanow, never met them, only dealt with them via website and phone, dont know anyone remotely connected to them. i like their initiative and service. Lay your complaint, and correct them, they will do better I'm sure.

yemmylag: I'm new here on this forum and I need your help concerning a friend of mine.she won visa lottery to Us,someone actually played for her and she won.now the guy said they wanted to attach a guy she doesn't even know as her husband, she's married with a kid.but the lottery was played while she was still single.pls what can she do?this guy kept saying without him she can't go to the embassy to get the visa.should the girl just appear at the embassy with the husband or what?what does she need to present at the embassy?and how will she go about it?thanks and God bless.
Hmmm this is a difficult situation! something similar happened to a friend years ago, and she lost it. Your friend has to be very careful, although now, it's more difficult to scuttle her chance than when it happened to my friend years ago. She should try and acquire all the necessary documents used to file her DV lottery immediately and submit. The guy can't do much, no matter what he says to the US embassy, he is the one guilty of trying to create a fraudulent marriage. That he played for her means absolutely nothing, after all its absolutely free. She needs to keep records of all correspondence he sends concerning the fake marriage. But for peace to reign, she may have to try and reason with him.
See wahala oo shocked shocked I was addressing the Op and not you. I neither opposed nor affirmed your posts so where did the 'don't get me wrong' and the long stories you wrote thereafter come from? Cheers
Lol My sincere and profound apologies, I somehow thought this was a Forum, as in public discussion board? I must have been mistaken and bumped into a private discussion . Once again my sincere apologies!
