BusinessWhat Are Your Challenges,if Any,to Running An Online Business? by MsSantaClaus(op): 12:39pm On Dec 28, 2016
There are so many Online businesses going on in the developed world, and when I say Online Business, I dont mean HYIP,FOREX etc.

For example, looking on instagram there are so many businesses making huge amounts of money, from the Global audience there (600 million active users as of yesterday and growing strong.
Thats the reason programs such as Rich kids of Instagram emerged, but hardly do we see any Nigerians showcased.

Many of these businesses are in the form of :-

1. Online Courses
2. Info products
3. Coaching
4. Blogging
5. Digital products
6. Services

to name a few.

Having run my business online for about 3 years, I have come across several challenges that Nigerians and people from developing countries experience when running a business online or trying to do so.

My list is as follows, you can add yours, and i'd be happy to discuss solutions to these common problems, so Nigerians too can get a piece of the Online Business revolution and become Rich Kids of Instagram! cool

1. Internet Access - Very epileptic and in many instances not strong enough to participate in webinars and watch live videos.
2. Payment - Payment between developed and developing countries, payment for products via eg PayPal has restrictions
3. Shipping - No reliable postal service, other methods are expensive , packages frequently go missing.
4. Trust issues - they believe it must be a scam If it's online.
5. Banking - Lack of availability or trust in using Debit cards for online payments and the restriction in the amount of foreign currency allowance per month. Credit cards are hardly available
6. Exchange rate - the rate fluctuate a lot between our currency and the dollar, making products far to expensive to retail “
7. Online Resources are not available to some developing Countries, eg Kindle books
8. Some Apps are also not available to peope in developing countries.

There are some solutions to these problems or ways to get around them if you know how.

You can join my Free Masterclass Group if you want to learn more on how I've successfuly run a Global Infoprenuer Business online as well as Retailing my physical products in Nigeria, whilst living in another country. (check my signature to join )

FamilyRe: My Friend Is Cheating On His Wife, Putting Me In A Tight Situation by MsSantaClaus(f): 11:28pm On Nov 14, 2016
The issue is that whether the wife is here or abroad, the guy will still cheat! What about all the men cheating in their homes while the wife is there? What is their excuse?? No woman should give up her dreams just to make sure a husband doesn't cheat, is he a child or a man?
If I was the wife I would want to know, there are too many unpleasant diseases flying around and i'm sure she wants to stay alive for her kids and to fulfill her ambition after all her hard work. Please talk to your friend firmly , but if he doesn't change his ways, maybe you should find a way to make her aware so she can protect herself , since the hubby chooses to put his family at risk. As for people saying he should mind his business, why are we humans like thishuh Cant we be our brothers or sisters keeper for once? AIDS is all too real to take that stance.

I hear you bro, but the fact remains that the girl is just lucky, you can't take away that fact.

Even if she was paid to act she is still lucky.

She is getting a house, she is lucky

She is getting endorsement from IBTC, she is lucky

She is now a motivational speaker and people listen, she is lucky

She is even getting more deals than Nollywood actress, She is lucky

So whether acting o or real o. She is lucky
She is lucky , yes, but for how long? Has anyone asked what a model in Nigeria is paid ? How can she sustain the house rent or was it given to her free? We already had models in Nigeria, who are they and what do they earn? This story will soon become old, then what? The money finishes and then how will she maintain the lifestyle? I've not heard that models earn well in Nigeria o, the only two who did ! Oluchi and Agbani were from International modeling competitions and that's where their wealth was made, not Nigeria. They should be wise and not destroy this lady and her family for personal gain!

Kgdavid:
Don't know if the bags are fake or not and i frankly couldn't care less, but what most of you need to know is that at a certain level, there are very good fakes that actually look just like the original and are passed of as such. Linda could have bought fakes without realizing it... just to say that the fact that she is "so rich" does not mean that much when it comes to possessing fake merchandise. So many rich people have been conned into buying fake Rolexes and such.

In fact let me tell you a little secret, some of the so called high end boutiques and stores you see around, actually knowingly sell these high quality fakes.
Unfortunately, Linda seems to be one in this instance, just looking at the bag it looks fake( very untidy and bulges all over) Birkins are beautifuly constructed, this one is not. Lol at Knowing a fake bag with my eyes closed, indeed, just after owning 100 bags?? Many being fake!!even the experts find it hard sometimes!!

She is a waste to her family... imagine a father and mother toil to bring up a child and when they should enjoy, she commits suicide?

She was ashamed to come back back home because her marriage was not working??

Is it not a living person who works on her marriage?

What a waste to her parents.

It is better they did not give birth to her @All!

I really feel for them sad
Do you know it's people like YOU that at times make victims of abuse act the way they do? Your overweening confident that " it can never happen to me or mine", "she must be greedy" "she must be a mug u" " Doesn't she have common sense" " she is a waste of space" ,is truly pathetic!
One thing we must never forget is that no two situations are the same!. Many factors go into making a situation the way it is,, circumstance, location, state of mind of all parties involved, mental health, finances, as well as things we can only guess at and not imagine, so as the saying goes, until you walk a mile in the victims exact shoes, do not presume to think you know how they feel, felt or should react, before ,during or after the abuse! Even the parents you claim to "Feel for" what part did they play in the situation, maybe they aided and abetted her staying there till the bitter end, do you know for sure?? I don't think anyone see's death coming for sure in such a painful and violent manner, and embraces it ( except those who are suicide bound), so your comment was not called for without the required knowledge of all the circumstances. Basically as a fellow human being, it was totally devoid of empathy and smacked of arrogance, I don't know how old you are, but life holds many surprises, many of which we least expect!

I am indifferent to the whole netflix thing.

I was able to download Beast of No Nation on Torrent 24 hours after it was released on netflix.

Sherlocks Abominable Bride was on torrent, three hours after it was released.

Even series exclusive to Netflix such as House of Cards and Orange is the new black are often avalaible on Torrent. Netflix even makes it easier to download because they release all the episodes to their series at the same time i think. Downloading on torrent is free and sweet if you work in an office that doesnt block torrent.

If i want to watch Nigerian Movies, i visit youtube and watch them for free.

I wonder how many movies or series u want to download? Iv watched the whole series of House, Flashpoint, Prison Break, Keeping up with the Kardashians, Law & Order SUV, Films and so many more on Netflix and Hulu, why would I want to download them, to where? They will b there if u want to watch them again, so what's the point?

Streaming Movies on Netflix in Nigeria doesnt make any economic sense for lyoncrescent unless all torrent websites are banned.

Isn't this quite amazing? The girl is left blameless? Wowww
Yes , for what they did. If the matter goes to court, the judge will not be interested in all that story of the "WHY" they did it, only in the assault, and she is totally blameless for what they did, after they drugged her, why they did it is TOTALY irrelevant!
From the moment they administered a drug to her, to the time they drew her blood, they have committed several indictable offences!
If this was a civilized country, by now they would have been traced and arrested!
Imagine , even having the impunity to come to Nairaland and confess their crimes, hian!
Have you forgotten the Steubenville Rape case, when they posted the video's on social media, ask google how that turned out!!!
Stupidity and ignorance of the highest order and you are still talking about what the girl did or didn't dohuh
We Nigerians , are mainly educated illiterates!
The law enforcement agencies in this country are so backward, it's mind boggling, that's why people commit crimes and BELIEVE they can get away with it! Sorry to digress a little, but for instance, the Sugabelly Rape issue, which agency or Journalist has gone to interview those she accused, other than a "friend" with his totaly biased Journalism, where are the investigative journalists, we only heard from Mustapha Audu, not a word from the other accused, are they not alive? I really wonder what Journalists in this country think their job is, Copy and Paste??
Bill Cosby has been charged with a Crime he is alleged to have committed almost 12 years ago, and some people were asking why Sugabelly came out now, what does it matter when she comes out, is it not truth and justice we want for either party??
Also, Bill Cosby has sued some of his accusers for Defamation, why are the Sugabelly accused not suing her, if what she said is not true!
If they are serious,we should be hearing some news of that legal matter in the nearest future, until then, the accused remain in my mind, Rapists as she said!
Whatever excuse you want to give for any crime you commit, remember it's just an excuse, if it goes to court, it's not a Defence!

Not so simple or easy when your in love, but simpler and easier than what they did and much simpler and easier than being arrested and going to jail. But the law doesn't take that into consideration, so at times it's wise to take a step back and rethink, I blame the OP , as he was NOT IN LOVE, he was meant to be the one thinking for his friend, yet he led him into a quagmire ,what is his excuse??

This is why jungle justice persists in Nigeria. The burden of proof may be hard to present in a law court, but that doesn't mean that the case lacks merit. The op is not, by this post, celebrating drugging and obtaining any body fluid by force; he is only happy for saving a life, wishing that none of us falls for such lady.
On the contrary, jungle justice in this instance would not be necessary, that is why walking away from the relationship should have been his best option, there was no need for him to do all he did.
If the lady had died from the drug, all this we are arguing about here will be Stories that touch, Jail will be his abode now!

Aren't the two cases similar? Dr Adadevo held him against his wish and she took his blood for testing without his permission.
They are both Bioterrorists and common sense says they don't deserve to be treated using due process.
Please DO NOT BE TOTALY RIDICULOUS! How in your tiny mind are the two cases the same?
Patrick Sawyer Presented himself to a Hospital for Treatment of what he did not even know, so it's the hospitals duty to find out what was wrong and treat him , he had already given permission to be treated! Dr Adedavoh was a trained Doctor employed by that hospital, she was also mandated by law to report any infectious disease that may put the populace in danger. By the time Patrick Sawyer was refusing treatment he was already in a state of delirium brought on by the Ebola!
In this instance the lady was kept against her will in a flat, ( by being drugged, which is tantamount to kidnap ), her blood was taken, again , against her will, as she was not aware, a test was conducted on her sample by a person who we are not even sure is a trained medical personnel , again , against her will, Which part of this story, do you in your mind find similar to the Patrick Sawyer sagahuh
Please, in trying to justify what is wrong, don't sound utterly stupid!!!
Several crimes were committed, whether Nigeria is a lawless country or not, those who are reasonable cannot be deceived by his cry of fear of HIV!! The right thing to do would have been for his friend to walk away from the lady. Two wrongs do not make a right!
The OP is just lucky the lady woke up and walked away, if not he would be singing a different song by now!!

does that mean they can stand students that are attending 20k schools academically? Some of Their parents just put them in such school to show neighbors/relatives/friends that they are rich.

My daughter school fees isn't up to 50k but she can stand any ot them from that school academically.

They go to expensive schools doesn't mean they are the best or their future will be bright. Capital NO
Usually, you don't just get into the schools because you have money, their entrance exams are extremely challenging, difficult and rigorous, so yes ,they are usually some of the best minds.
The standards are very high and they want to keep it that way (so they only take the best) to justify the fees, check out the PSAT,SAT and TOEFEL scores from these schools, they are some of the highest in the world. Many dont even take waec or neco at all. Also many of the graduates are admitted into Ivy League colleges, some of the best Universities abroad and are employed by some of the best companies in the world, so , not to say its all of them, but to be honest giving your child a good education is worth it.

What is wrong with young men these days??
The unfortunate thing is that, when people are in a relationship, anything they do should be and remain private, both pictures, letters or emails, when it ends , they should not be used as tools to blackmail each other.
We are just hypocrites if we claim not to engage in anything you do not want another person to hear when in love and in a relationship, so for all those holier than thou people, ask your parents what they got up to before they married, believe me your ears will be on fire if they would only tell the truth!

I doubt that is the reason, after all many of the people reported are not even people who use the internet, so where will they watch it? It has always been in our society, we just pretend it has not, what about all these Baba's who molest children, did they watch it in Porn films??. 4) Nigerians are the worst Hypocrites there are, everyday we hear about child molestation, yet nothing has been done to arrest, talk less of jail the perpetrators, yet this has gotten a reaction so fast!
5) Television is not just for entertainment, but to educate oneself, many people dont even know what it means to be Transgender, this would have been an opportunity to find out how it starts and how they feel!

The issue is not in DNA. It boils down to who claimed the child when she was little. I remember a lady from sapele, she had a child for her secondary school boyfriend and the guy and his family denied her. Her own family because of shame sent her away and to keep it short the lady married a white guy. After 10yrs the gold digger of a boy friend started raising heat that they should bring his child.

If it is you would you give such a fool your child?
I've read many comments here, calling the woman all sorts of names, my dear you are one of the reasonable ones! First of all, how do they know the woman was pregnant? She says she was not, And if they say she was, Why didn't the guy claim the baby and marry her? It is clear from the story that she had a relationship with the other man, she never denied that fact, but no one is asking what happened then. Possibly , they were young and the guy Took Off and denied the lady! Now , no one is also asking if the guy has been able to have other kids, possibly not, that is why they are eager to collect someone's child after 16 years!! What if she was pregnant and the Husband knew, but decided to accept the child anyway? Where were they when the Husband was taking care of the girl? Also are they even thinking about the emotional trauma they are causing this child or their own selfish desires have overtaken their good sense( if they had any) ? DNA or not, they have no MORAL right to claim the child, she has a Father and mother who love her and they should leave her alone! In the story, we have not heard from the purported father, is he alive, is he the one fighting and why now? Honestly, the things men do!!!

The way some people comment on serious issues is extremely surprising! Don't you think beyond tribal hatred? We all eat beef in some form, doesn't it occur to you that this will trickle down into the general populace some how? The tainted meat might just find its way into your pot of soup. If not that, the price of other meats and Fish will go up. When you go to buy meat, or eat out, wont you think twice about choosing beef? Stop and think before you make inane comments, whatever happens in any part of the country or to any tribe may eventually get to you, either directly or indirectly!
