Na wa o! I keep telling all who care to be reasonable that no nation on earth that is built on the rule of law will defend the activities of IPoB and Kanu. It is not wrong to fight for the right for self-determination, but these people (and the Igboho boys) are going about it the wrong way. Study the Scotland case and see the difference. Most of these 'Nelson Mandela wannabes' are only riding on the widespread dissatisfaction with the present leadership to chase clout and spite the government. Kanu will face justice and no nation will raise a finger. But all eyes will be on his case to ensure no violation of his rights is made. That's the best he can get. But I don't see him getting a sentence of more than ten years in jail. Lets stop all these hate and unite to face the real problems we have which are corruption, insecurity, unemployment and poverty. All these agitations are only a distraction to cause division and bring tribalism into the picture. We are the giant of Africa and we will be greater together.

Let's look at human instincts for a bit.. it's survival first before political correctness and institutional frameworks.

Look at open grazing for example, the President ordinarily shouldn't bother himself with private cattle herders like Miyetti Allah. If they want to breed cattle, let them do it the modern and civilized way which is ranching in a confined space. The reason they are against ranching is because they want to continue feeding their cows with crops on people's farmland for free and still make huge profit when they sell the cows. It's a no brainer really.

Let there be mutual respect and equal treatment of all citizens and see if there won't be peace.

My stand has been on restructuring and devolution of powers to states.. however I still recognize that some quarters in Yorubaland are tired of the happenings in the country and the way insecurity, kidnappings and banditary are being treated with kid gloves.

That said, I believe a lawyer should know better not to use words like "crush" or "kill" in a democratic dispensation. I still feel the root cause of agitations here and there is due to the lackadaisical attitude of security operatives in curbing insecurity fast spreading across the country. They are trying, I agree but they can do more.

Have you been to Zamfara, Yobe, Kaduna to see the situation of things there? I don't pray you get kidnapped but when you hear victims recount their ordeal, you'll know noone is safe in the country.
