Christianity EtcRe: Why Is The Roman Catholic Church Keeping Historical Secrets . . . by Mudley313: 5:32am On Jun 27, 2010
I heard the vatican secret archives contained the largest collection of p0rnography in the world grin. Seriously tho, I think it is in relation to confiscated works of arts considered pornographic by the church; probably very tame compared to today's standards

Plus there has to be lots of heretical nonsense like the earth not being the center of the universe

Despite the name tho, i dont think the archives are a secret in the hush-hush, classified sense. Instead, the word secret in this case means that the archives are private. To use them, you have to go through an application process or sumthin and prove that you're a seasoned researcher with a specific project in mind—and specific documents that you're looking for

i'd have adviced you to postpone your wedding plans but since you guys are already married you need to put your foot down strongly on this one. your wife clearly still has feelings for this ex-lover of hers and this inadvertenty takes away from your marriage. there should be boundaries in a relationship talkless of a marriage. she needs to seize all contacts whatsover with this man if not im afraid what you have is a sham marriage

No it is not, but do you know that if Ghana wins that Trophy(with there doggedness and team spirit i dare not write them off) The only name that will be etched on the trophy and record books will be GHANA not Nigerian and not Africa, the people that will receive medals and lift the trophy will be Ghanaian's and the trophy will be paraded on the streets of Accra not Lagos. we really need to get our acts right.
yeah love thy neighbor as you love yourself, but in football there should not be divided loyalty, my guy you need to see what people are posting on facebook, some say they wanna change there nationality, some say they have changed there names to koffi, mensah, essien and the likes can you imagine, whether we like it or not they are our rivals on the field of play, if we were to play them say in the quarters had we qualified were will your loyalty lie?

Sports5 Reasons African Teams Didn't Do Well At The World Cup by Mudley313(op): 5:36am On Jun 25, 2010
1. Bad Luck

Take South Africa as an example. If you had asked Bafana Bafana fans before the World Cup if they'd sign up for a draw with Mexico and a win over France, you have to believe they'd have taken it. Unfortunately for the hosts, the 3-0 thrashing the team suffered to Uruguay in between those positive results was enough to destroy South Africa's chances of advancing. As the African team with the fewest Europe-based players, South Africa performed as well as could be expected. The other team that had horrendous luck was Cameroon, which played extremely well in a 2-1 loss to Denmark after losing 1-0 to Japan in a game where the Lions outshot Japan 11-5 and had 55 percent of the possession.

2. Instability

After the African Cup of Nations, Ivory Coast fired its coach, Vahid Halilhodzic, and hired Sven Goran Eriksson. Nigeria fired its coach, Shuaibu Amodu, and hired Lars Lagerback. Panic moves like these rarely work. Players want to know what's expected of them, what system they'll play and how a coach deals with issues that arise in the dressing room. "What is the problem for Africa in general? Lagerback said after Nigeria's elimination. "The only thing I can see is that maybe they need a little bit more continuity." The only African coach in the World Cup, Algeria's Rabah Saadane, said, "I think that Africa is on the right road. What we need in our national teams is stability."

3. Too Structured

If you recall the great Cameroon team of 1990, led by 38-year old striker Roger Milla, you probably recall teams that loved the ball, played without fear and let their joy show on the field. It may be an overgeneralization, but many of the African teams have become ultra defensive, too concerned about losing their shape and not as fun to watch. Let's face it, not even Brazil plays as beautifully as it did 20 years ago. Because the physical aspects of the game have progressed so much, it's led to greater defensive pressure over 90 minutes and less time and space for creative players. Still, it seems the fluidity that defined some of the best African football has been lost.

4. Goal Deficient

Take a look at Ghana, the one team that's definitely going through. The Black Stars scored two goals, both on penalties, in their three matches. Algeria did not score in the competition and appeared content against the U.S., in a game it knew it needed to win by two goals, to sit back and counter. Ivory Coast, a team many pegged as the one with the talent to go deep into the tournament, went 169 minutes before it finally put a ball in the net. It was too little too late for the Elephants, who for all intents and purposes were eliminated after two matches.

5. Expectations

Perhaps there was simply too much pressure on the African teams in this competition. Hosting the World Cup for the first time, many figured this was going to be a showcase for the continent's six representatives and for the first time, more than one African team would go through to the knockout stages. Barring a miracle for Ivory Coast, which needs to win and have Brazil put up a big number on Portugal, it will be Ghana only. On the positive side, the Black Stars more than held their own against Germany on Wednesday, creating more goal-scoring chances than Die Mannschaft, and could have the power to make a deep run.

Dnt want to be commitment phobe anymore   I have tried to let him go but one thing or the other brings us back together, like a Karma or something, lol
i still stand by my initial statement that it'll be more appropriate to let him go completely before you start looking for others (that's called cheating where i'm from) regardless of whatever excuse you come up with. this is out of respect for him as a person, the relationship you had (you sure did love him at a point) and for yourself; its just a moral obligation, unless you lack one and trust me, you dont wanna jump in the arms of another man when you're vulnerable (and desperate for commitment). 99% of the time you'll be highly dissapointed and most probaby be attached to someone even worse

Ah, I have always wanted love (and a lot of it) more than marriage (all abt adapting) but, my friends are all hitched
you seem desperate and exhibit all the signs of a woman with grass-is-greener syndrome (e.g trying to paint him in a bad light). not a good look. the state you are now, any man that can just tell you whatever you wanna hear will get in your pants with ease. you need to change you mind set. dump him (if thats what you want) and take time out for "yourself" and the right man will come (if you too got the right qualities ofcourse)

Women are half of every community, and they birth the renaming half. We often overlook the importance, prominence and value of women. Their sacrifices, burdens and circumstances she is forced to undergo when men refuse to take responsibility and shower their women with respect, compassion and mercy. Cultures in underdeveloped countries often ignore conditions their women are abiding by.

A man is nothing without a woman, and us women are certainly the reasons why our societies thrive, our communities strengthen and our children (or future children) will imitate our actions, our behavior and our attitudes.

The value of a woman is incomprehensible to describe in words alone. How would you describe the value of a woman?

the value of a woman is same as the value of any other human, whether male or female. you say a man is nothing without a woman but so is a woman nothing without a man. can a woman birth a baby without a man? stop putting either sex on a pedestal, we're all of equal value. i guess you have an unhealthy relationship with your man (that is if you have any) cos you believe you're superior or entitled to be looked at that way n i bet all those females cheerleading the OP are lonely frustrated women who just wanna think this way to make them sleep better at night. change your mentality if not, e go hard you o

alexleo:
small man,

Rapture means a state of being carried away,

The word rapture is not in the bible but its meaning is the reason its used today to describe the coming of our lord Jesus Christ
to take us to heaven to be with him.

here is what the bible says about this -

15. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord ( 1 thessalonian 4: 15-17).

Again you asked if Jesus wants to see every righteous person in heaven. The answer is - Jesus wants to see every saved soul in heaven and of course when you are saved Jesus gives you power to live a righteous life not self righteousness and he made it clear in luke 12:32 that our heavenly father wants us to inherit His kingdom- 32. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Its Important that you prepare yourself for the coming of Jesus so that you will spend eternity in heaven with Jesus. If you have not be genuinely born again, pls find time to pray sincerely to God, confessing all your sins and in true repentance promise him that you wont go back to them again. If God sees that you are truly praying with a sincere heart He will forgive you your sins and you will become a new man in Christ and you will see yourself begin to hate those sins you use to enjoy in the past. God will help you.
rapture ko, rapture ni. i see you remain as delusional as that lost challenge you threw on that thread on behalf of your imaginary never-can-do-more-than-a-dead-rat of a god. you need medication
