I truly understand how you feel. I'd urge you not to worry too much and pick yourself up. I'm glad his mom was transparent about her opinion of you. A broken relationship is still better than a broken marriage. I believe you should understand that most parents especially mothers are against their kids marrying a single mother/father.

However, there are many men our there that their mom's gonna accept you with your kid.
