EducationRe: Should I Run Bsc And Hnd Together? by mujibson(m): 7:53pm On Jul 20, 2020
GboyegaD:
The good side was that many students in Ede were doing a dual program in Ife and our classmates in Ede were always cooperative. Thus, information is shared easily. For instance, my classmates in Ede would tell those in Accounting they see for example to tell me to read up this for next tests. Sometimes, they photocopy notes and send to me.
Running the two won't be feasible if you were in Civil engineering department in fedepe.

I know quite number of students that were able to run it in Mech and Elect.

Civil has the highest number wicked lecturers in the school.
EducationRe: Civil Engineering Vs Chemical Engineering by mujibson(m):
After meticulously following this thread from the beginning to the end. Now as a Civil Engineering student, I feel like crying for myself in advance.

My uncle advised me to opt for Civil because according to him it's simple. With what I've read here so far, I can conclude my gullible self have been misled by an uncle who doesn't know much about a Civil Engineering course.

Who else sees this as a sheer waste of time. Would Osun ladies I know be diligent enough to master the art? The time, drive, willingness and all? Well, it is well.

By the way, while some are joyful about making FTC. Here I am, happy to see my comment in the first page of a front page post for the first time ever.

Such is life.
EducationRe: Nigerians Be Honest. Where Your Universities And Polytechnics Actually Good? by mujibson(m): 7:06am On Jul 18, 2020
Judging from your poor use of English, I'd say your school is nothing to write home about.
EducationRe: Can 4.299 Cgpa Be Rounded Up As 4.30 In One's Transcript? by mujibson(m):
samuelpeters:
I think it depends on the School.
UNN will not Roundoff Anything for you.

Except its your Graduating CGPA. Then Many things will be considered before doing it. Like your Character, Class Attendance etal.

I have seen people that graduated with 4.49,3.49 and so on.
That Difference is a Lot of Difference
Seems you don't get the OP.

No school will round off 2 decimal place digits. Nobody will round off 4.49 to 4.5 for you. 3.49 won't turn to 3.5 as well.

The digit we are talking about here is the 3 decimal digit. 4.499 is different from 4.491. While someone with 4.491 might graduate with 4.9, another person with 4.499 CGPA might just have his own rounded off to 4.5.
EducationRe: How Do You Motivate Children Between Pry 4 To JSS 2 to Study During COVID by mujibson(m): 11:55am On Jul 14, 2020
I believe I deserve this scholarship opportunity because of my innovative instinct. For the past years as the representative of my class, I set up after class tutorials for my class mates and my juniors in order to improve our overall academic performance. I will use the same leadership mindset to obtain my Engineering degree.

My aim is to work as a Civil Engineer in order to create, improve and protect the environment in which I live. With this scholarship, I can complete my education and continue to solve problems within my environment.
EducationRe: Can 4.299 Cgpa Be Rounded Up As 4.30 In One's Transcript? by mujibson(m):
Since everyone is giving different answers then I'd say it depends on what a particular school adopts.

If it was my school, the CGPA is definitely 4.30.

This is an example of someone who had Total credit point (TCP) of 172 and Total credit unit registered( TCUR) of 41. Dividing 172/ 41 gives 4.195 but it is rounded up to 4.20 in the result.
EducationRe: Share Your Embarrassing Examination Day Experiences by mujibson(m):
Lol, I've laughed my ass out reading people's posts here. I think I have to pen down mine too.

It was a test when I was in ND1 in poly. The course was CEC 105, Civil Engineering construction. The course was too theoretical, it was all about building and its components. As a student that doesn't leave any stone unturned, I read the course to full understanding and after that, I crammed the whole contents word for word too. The course was actually a 3 units course so I had to give it everything.

Fast forward to the test day, I entered the hall with full confidence. As I was about to start the test, I didn't know what came to me, I forgot all what I crammed but thankfully apart from cramming, I understood the questions so well, just that I couldn't just put it the way it was written in the notes. So I gave the answers based on my understanding. I finished the questions very early. I'm the type that always submit late even though I finish early. So as I was still sitting, I began recalling everything the way I crammed it so I decided to open another page and start writing the crammed answers down. I finished writing everything. Then I went ahead to submit. Immediately I handed my script to the corper who supervised us, I remember I've not crossed out the first answers I wrote. Instead of me to truthfully tell him what I wanted to do, I lied to him that I've not written my name and matric no. The corper reluctantly allowed me because he has been shouting since that we shouldn't forget to write our details. As he gave me back the script, I just crossed out the first answers, wanted to return the script. That was how the corper vexed for me. He hated the fact that I lied or tried to play smart on him. I was begging him when unfortunately the devil(course lecturer) came in. The lecturer did not even listen to what happened. So far he knew I had issues with the supervisor, he just returned my script to me and asked me to go and mark it myself. That was how I started pleading, he didn't listen. My classmates pleaded, same thing. The corper himself pleaded, he didn't listen until when a senior lecturer who was passing by that time pitied me and pleaded on my behalf too, that was
when he accepted the pleas. He collected back my script, wrote -10 marks on top and asked me to go. Happily I 'thanked' him when I was leaving and to my surprise, that sincere 'thank you sir' that I said angered him again. He threw away my script and He said and I quote " Are you mad? are you stupid? And it won't be well with you for thanking me. Who ask for your thanks, bla bla bla..." It was so funny and strange to me that I didn't know how to beg him again, all I was saying was 'Yes sir, I'm mad', ' Sorry sir, I'm stupid'. Lastly he collected it back and I ran away to one corner and started laughing hard. Lol.

In the last 15 Years, Unilorin has been ranked the Best University in Nigeria 9 different years. Your ABU was not ranked among first three in the period under review. Meanwhile. I never attended Unilorin. No university in your Almajari North will ever come near Southern Universities.
Imagine! Is this how unilorites reason or you just wish to disgrace the school today? Unilorin ranked best university on 9 occasions out of 15? Like are you sick? I put it to you that Unilorin wouldn't be ranked above ABU in 5 out 15 occasions in that last 15 years not to talk of being the best. Unilorin kor, Unilota nii... Arindin omo

1. The probability of drawing a white ball first = 4/18 = 2/9
When the first white ball is drawn, the total ball left is 17 while 3 of it is white.
The PR of the second drawn ball is 3/17
While the third drawn white is 2/16 =1/8 since the ball is not replaced.
Hence, the required probability = 2/9 x 3/17 x 1/8= 1/204 = B
