The law, why haven’t you put us through the technicalities of this case, Abi na only to Dey do “D law” for that Tonga coach you sabi ni 😋😋
I like to reduce legal technicalities to its most basic. The point is that if as we read Congo's law prohibits dual citizenship, fielding players with dual nationality automatically means they fielded ineligible players. I see comments online from Congolese saying what is Nigeria's concern with Congolese citizenship laws. Well we have no concern with their laws. Our only concern is whether they fielded eligible or ineligible players. Surely that is a matter that impinges on FIFA's laws.

As long as their passports are not forged, they are citizens of DRC. In other words their country gave them a waiver for Sports purposes.
Lookman and every person who has one Nigerian grandparent (think Ashley Plumptre) are citizens of Nigeria. Why didn't we just hand them passports and viola feature them?

After reading countless comments both here and on X, I still insist that people temper their hopes of qualifying for the World Cup. This case doesn't feel as strong as the SA Mokoena case to me. FIFA might look at it as the NFF just splitting hairs. Then again it depends on how involved FIFA themselves were in the push of this case, as alleged by certain people.

For me I think the strongest case we have here is the falsification of documents that were submitted to FIFA. If truly DRC presented fake or tampered documents to FIFA, then that's a serious case that might even lead to DRC's suspension or expulsion from competitive football entirely. That's a very grave accusation and one that I believe FIFA won't let slide no matter the context.

Time will tell how true this is and if the NFF truly have evidence for this or it's an exaggeration.

At the end of the day, I'd rather err on the side of caution and assume we don't have a case. It's better to be pleasantly surprised than painfully disappointed. Again.

I was 100% convinced during the South Africa point deduction and Eritrea withdrawal saga.

This one, I'm about 35% convinced, which isn't enough to raise my hopes.
If I perish, I perish. See you in America next year. In sha Allah.

You must be an illiterate. Wetin consign fifa with nationality law? If I fictitiously obtain another National team passport and send it to fifa, they should clear me when it was an obvious Theft? The only way that I see congo getting out of these is for the aforementioned players clearly indicating with Documented evidence of their Renouncing their other national team passport with evidence. For example, Aaron wan bissaka has to disclose with documentation of his renounciation of his British passport prior to November 11. Anything contrary, it sets a bad precedent on FIFA laws and its laws shouldn’t be respected. Players like Orban should be playing for the super eaglea

The fact that we aren't making moves to cap Arthur Okonkwo and we're busy calling up Uzoho is giving me sleepless nights.

Uzoho reminds me of those kind children those days wey watching film scarce die, wey don already manage enter the house wey dem dey watch home alone. Only for one senior to spot am and say hey you, you never baff. Oya go outside. Dem go rush quickly go baff, then hang for window. Any small opportunity, dem don run squeeze enter the house again.

Uzoho was one of the first people to hit camp. My man been hanging by the window of the team. Small opening, he rush enter. When I saw the people in camp and saw his name, I just laugh. Na player wey no sabi play dey rush first come camp.

I don’t just want to argue initially but you nailed it here. Most of us Nigerians don’t understand how the western or global world works. Just like you said it’s all about documentation to verify any claim just like it was found out about the SA player who had two yellow cards to be suspended, was it documented that he was suspended? Of course yes and that’s it. It has nothing to do with what anyone said at any time but paper and documentation to back up any claim. What Congo needs to do is to back up whatever they claim with documentation or credentials as you call it and all arguments will cease including those talking about wuruwuru. In fact I will be happy for DRC if all documentation shows they are in order but if not o ti lo.
This your last sentence make me laugh.

People think it's personal but that's a projection of the Nigerian mind set where laws are not respected but are instead used as a tool to either favor one person or punish another person.

That's not Oyibo man's outlook. Outside the qualification process, Fifa does not care if Nigeria qualifies or not. They are not interested in favoring Nigeria or punishing Congo. Rather It's about the sanctity of the law. It's about consequences, it's about tomorrow.

If Congo failed to follow due process, the axe that fell on SA will fall on them. Shikena
