Whatever that bothers you, tell it to God in prayer and see how miserable she becomes in few days time.
The Bible has a perfect response for anyone that troubles a child of the most high God.

But I see that you'll have a big testimony before the end of this year and when that happens, change your LOCATION , so that those bad belle people won't add sand to your garri.
Peace of God be with you forever IJMN

Amen to your prayers

My dear, don't allow such things get to you.

Don't dwell on hateful comments directed at you or you family. The only person that won't be mocked in this world is one who is without a shortcoming or one whose shortcomings are not known.

Learn to ignore!

Just direct your energy at improving the lot of your family and always remember to ask for God's favour.

I have been mocked before. But God has given me some breakthroughs in life that have turned the mockery into a miracle.

You will have the last laugh!
Amen

You did well to have pressed on the ignore button, that sure hurts more than words.

Do not ever dwell on nor allow those negative words of hers get to you.

Because she doesn't own your life or life itself, her words shall return to her empty.

Take her mockery as a challenge to keep

grinding, showing gratitude no matter how bad or gloomy the situation presently looks. Trust me, whatever it is you are going through at the moment isn't a forever thing and everyone goes through same in life at some point.

The good thing is, this time will never last forever. There's your time ahead of you and when that time is ripe, no man/woman or situation can stop it. It'd seem like a dream to you.

I've been there and I know what I'm telling you.

From now, I'd advise you and your family to cultivate the habit of gratitude on a daily.

Before you get off from your bed, just say a few words of gratitude for everything you are going through and for the gift of being alive to hope for a better day.

Keep at the above on a daily while continuing in your daily grinds and in a month plus, you'd begin to understand a little bit about how life works.

I wish you guys well and the strength to navigate through this "testing" period.

It shall pass.

DM me your acct number..

And one last thing...

Improve on writing your words and sentences in full.
Typing in that shorthand isn't very good and can pose a hindrance because you wouldn't know what setting not to use it.

Thanks for your encouraging words. God is at work

Like I mentioned earlier, we all know the problematic tenant in the compound. My approach is not that good but it's the most practical approach to avoid insults. Your husband affirming what a neighbor said in her presence tells me that you guys must have called her attention to the leaking tap long before the landlord intervened.

A better approach would be to sound a note of warning in the meeting that if the borehole ever gets bad due to frequent use, leakages, etc. you guys won't be contributing a dime. This may attract more side talks but that's how to deal with such people.

My kind of person would ignore after that warning and wait till the borehole gets bad. I'm a plan B, C, D, and even F kind of person. Na when borehole spoil we go know the most powerful.

I get ur point

I think we all agree that the woman is vile and maybe senseless but what can he do in this instance? Embrace violence with a razz woman?

I've learnt never to engage such people. If you want to waste water, I will help you waste it after securing an alternative for my household.
Well, ur approach isn't that good cos it will amount to turning a blind eye to what you know deep down is bad. For God's sake this is somebody's property we re talking about, how can a pumping machine be running through out nonstop anytime there is light even if d light stays for 12 hours. The efficiency of the machine has even reduced due to overlabour and mind you this is the second sumo in 4 years. Now what if you are d landlord in this case, will u be happy to keep replacing sumo every now and then?

For the records, my husband did not engage her, it was another neighbor who reported her and my husband only affirmed what the neighbor said. She is obviously angry cos my husband didn't cover up for her cos we r of d same tribe but when it comes to doing the right thing, tribal sentiments shouldn't come into play.

How can the husband mind his business when what is happening affects him too? He did nothing wrong by confirming a truth to their landlord during the meeting.

It is as if you have never jammed co-tenants who are just troublesome without cause or justification. The ones that will push your clothes from your own rope/line to spread their clothes, rope that you bought with your money and put outside.

Or is it the saboteurs who will never contribute fuel money to pump water, but will deliberately leave their bathroom taps on and go out to spite others for calling them out, so all the water you are pumping is wasting away and the water tank is not filling up because of them.

Please free that man he did not do anything wrong, that woman is just vile. What stops her from fixing the tap head to save everyone (including herself) the water loss?

If I was the landlord she will not last long in my property, because the tap head is an indication of her careless and negligent attitude. I shudder to think of what the rest of her flat looks like now or what it will look like, when she moves out.

You understand d situation very well, the truth is other co_tenants are afraid to call her out cos she is very troublesome. Even her husband is scared of her. She is d only tenant in that compound that openly insults her husband. Infact, if she is insulting her husband from their flat, d whole neighborhood will be aware cos she will be shouting at the top of her voice. Truth is, d man is a very quiet gentleman. I honestly don't know how he's been coping with his wife's attitude.

On several occasions, d husband will come back and call d wife on phone, she won't come out to open d gate for him until d man calls my
husband to open d gate for him. There was a time my husband travelled but d man was not aware so when he got to d gate, he called my husband to help him open d gate. My husband had to call me on phone to please help open d gate for the man and d wife was comfortably inside faking sleep. Which woman goes to bed without waiting for her husband to return? My dear, d story too much.

Good afternoon N'lders, so we had a compound meeting with d landlord yesterday. Note that d landlord doesn't stay with us.

During the meeting, a female married neighbor raised some complaints about another neighbor whose family are in the habit of wasting water in d compound. Their tap head is spoilt but they refused to repair it, when water is pumping, they can leave their tap on overnight and so on. My husband was also confirming what d neighbor was saying.

During the meeting, the said woman whose family was wasting water came in and was
making some side remarks and even asked the Landlord why he had to call the meeting. The landlord didn't reply but rather asked her to leave the meeting. Am sure this angered her

When she came back from her business place in the night, from the gate she started raining insults on the woman that reported her, my husband,my children and myself. I have never been so humiliated in my life. Of a truth, we re going through financial challenges at the moment and it's telling on us. She called me a skeleton, my children kwashiorkor and my husband she called a Nobody. We were inside while she kept ranting and ranting outside, she later went inside her house and continued her rant from there. She said so many unprintable things to us but by God's grace we didn't even step out not to talk of replying her.

My great n'land family, is the woman wrong to have reported her? and am I wrong to have kept quiet while she humiliated and mocked my family for being poor?

Any advice for me cos I am broken

Mamas abeg how that nipple area go heal fast, because d area is now red nd so painful, am planning on extracting for him and stop him from putting mouth so as not to keep biting me more

Get original Shea butter and be applying to ur nipples, it heals fast. When u're breastfeeding, make sure d whole areola area get into the baby's mouth. Babies bite on d nipples out of frustration if they re not getting enough milk.

Try d above and see how it goes

Nothing wrong here, my Mum calls almost everyday just to check up on us. I have been married for over a decade. My family is a close knitted family unlike my Husband's family, they can go weeks without calling each other that sometimes I would even be the one reminding him to call his siblings as their parents are no more.

Whenever you want to embark on a long journey, take avomine tablets. Get it from a pharmacy as well as the dosage. The first time my kids and I travelled long distance, my first daughter wasn't comfortable throughout the trip, she vomited inside the bus. My Mum now told me about avomine and ever since then, no issues. It is an anti neausea drug.
