Please help: the name I filled for my spouse while creating my profile isn’t the same as his passport. His passport carries the short form of his names with one middle name missing whereas I filled all his full names while creating my profile. Now I’m post ITA.What
do I do please? I don’t want a case of misinterpretation

You need to go back to part 1 to understand Maternal. Ignore his insults and pick his advice. He is like that. If you like form a group against him, he is not moved. That is just him.
You cannot ask people to accept when someone’s behaviour is leaning towards being a jerk(pardon me pls). I’ve been a silent observer here and maternal always comes out rather too strong with his opinions. Everything is about balance. Interpersonal skills and empathy. Let your words be soft and few. And when someone says he’s offended by your words, apologise. I understand our messages and opinion come from a good place but approach is everything.
It will end in praise.Amen

Hello Everyone,Im a little confused about how to fill my husband’s “Work History”. He’s worked in about 5places in the past 10years. He’s only spent a little over two years in his current place of work. Getting referrals from all of them is a lot of work. Can I just fill his current employment and the one before (to make up about 4years plus) and move the rest to “Personal History”?
NB:I’m the PA

Also, POF: I recently opened an account with a Financial Investment Institution and bought TBills (money was a gift sent into this new investment account).I didn’t bother putting the money in my regular account which also serves as my salary account and expense account. Will I need to provide a bank statement for this account or should I just focus on the investment account?

Hello Everyone,
I’m drawing up a budget for Pre-Landing and Post-Landing Expenses.I found out that drawing one during this EE Application Process has helped us keep tabs on how much this whole journey costs and manage our income.
It doesn’t have to be perfect, all I require is a checklist of things needed for pre landing and post landing as well as the cost implications. Thank you and Happy New Year!

Compliments of the Season Everyone.I have two questions:
1)Can my POF be a transfer of TBills (100%Gift Deed from Father-In-Law).
Back Story: FIL decided to liquidate some of his TBills as his contribution to this journey. A reputable Investment Management Firm handles his investments so I just opened an account with them and the proceeds of the TBills were transferred to my account to be used for TBills in my name. The other option was to do a change of ownership of TBills from him to me. What do you think?

2)Does anyone have the excel spreadsheet outlining the Cost of the PR Journey?Ive seen it around and was hoping someone could send to me.

Hello Guys, I’d really like a contact at the waec office in Lagos. My husband needs to get his waec result/Certificate. He lost his copy and he’s been to his secondary school to get a copy but the school says they have no records before 2004(he wrote his in 1997). You can imagine the frustration! The University is saying the same thing. We would really appreciate it if someone could give us a reliable contact in waec to help sort this out. Thank you

It depends. If your spouse used his degree in arriving at your crs score, then you would need to evaluate it. If not its not a prerequisite but it would be advisable to still evaluate it cos you might need it in canada eventually
Thank you

Calculate your CRS score to know if you will need the extra points from his evaluation, or not. If you haven't already, visit page one of this thread and follow as many links there as you can.
Thank you

Hello giys, Goodafternoon. I’m the PA our application and I’d like to know if my spouse will ever need to do evaluate his degree for our application to get through. I mean post ITA. Is it something we can do much later?(after PPR) or is it a Post ITA prerequisite?
Trying to cut cost and save time.

While I understand your frustration, I believe there’s a manner you can express such frustration without necessarily attacking the personalities of people you don’t even know based on a challenge they have. Do you know why the DOB differ? Did you ask? I joined this platform because of how receptive and warm people here are and I have referred a lot of people afterwards( I started from thread 1,page 1).
If your opinions border on rudeness people will stop asking questions.
Please correct with love and be guided.

ChandlerBing:
All these fake age questions should stop please. Did you consult us before you falsified your age? Leave us all out of it and sort out your own mess.

You people are bringing undue scrutiny to Nigerians. Making a mockery of sworn affidavits and NPC birth declarations.

Personally, I believe everybody who has ever had a cause to lie about or to conceal their age is an underachiever and quite frankly a looser.

Goodevening beautiful people, i also have a challenge as regards this DOB discrepancy. My husband’s passport carries a different DOB from his actual. When we decided to try this Immigration process journey, I knew it would come up. I don’t want him to use this passport because it is untrue and I don’t want any misinterpretation wahala in future. His siblings live in Canada and I bet they put his actual DOB while filling their personal/family details. I’d really appreciate suggestions on how to resolve this issue. Thank you

[quote author=Shyee post=71672836]Meanwhile, are you sure you calculated your CRS point well, especially, the Spouse accompanying part?
I answered based on what i gleaned from here and there. There may be other views.[/quote

I hope I calculated it well. We have family there so that bumped the CRS. It’ll be higher if my husband does his ielts.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by MumtotheBeloved: 9:20pm On Sep 30, 2018
I had my ECA done in April and got my ielts result in September(LRSW-9,8,8,7.5).Im applying as the PA and my CRS shows I’m 464.Im not the the pool yet because I’d like to have everything in hand so that I don’t start running up and down when the 60days countdown starts. I’d like clarification on the following;
1)Will my husband need to write ielts and get his ECA for my application to be successful?( I don’t
mind him doing the ielts but the WES is a bit of an issue because of our Nigerian Uni)
2)My proof of fund is a lump sum and I am unclear about how the TBills option works.
a)Can I buy the TBills and use the certificate immediately as my POF?
b)Will I need a LOE
c) Is it ok for the whole POF to be a gift deed?
3)My family is quite large. I have a mum and 2 siblings as well as 2half-aiblings(same dad) and a stepmom with 4 step siblings.
a) Can including all of them in my personal/family info pose a threat to the success of my application(does anyone have a similar experience?)
4)I was rejected an American Visitor’s visa but I don’t remember the reason( I was so burnt I just tossed the paper). How do I sort that out?
5) Will my husband need reference letters for all the places he worked in the last ten years?
Looking forward to your responses. Thank you guys
