Family › Re: Marriage And Its Challenges; My wife is pushing me to the extremes by Munzy14(m): 10:33pm On May 20, 2020*. Modified: 8:51am On May 21, 2020 |
ademidedavid: It's no longer a story that pastors divorce their partners, imams divorce their partners, highly educated people do same and even the so called marriage counsellors are not left out in the order of the day and it has always been a thing of worry for me with the thought that they never loved each other before marriage but getting married has changed my thinking and has made me realised that marriage only takes the grace of God to work out.
I have been married for 3 years with 1 beautiful daughter with a loving wife (maybe before and some years into the marriage). I have always believed that I cannever raise my hand on my woman since my father never did such but I find it hard to believe I did the unimaginable today although It wasn't intentional.
It was due to annoyance after she asked me to stop sitting at home and go work for more money like other men even though I am a federal worker with above 100k monthly income and still do personal work as a civil engineer apart from the federal job despite the lockdown.....
It really got me aggravated because I have been the one fending for the family and the kid for the past 3 years and never asked for a kobo from her.....
Although I have noticed the urge for very flamboyant life style in her lately and has even asked me to get more money at any means, that money is everything in this life even though I have tried telling her its a gradual process, she still doesn't listen and even asked me to raise money for her to travel out of Nigeria.
I have never thought of raising my hands on any woman let alone my wife.....
Please how do I change her sudden mentality towards this sudden extravagant life style because I pray it doesn't lead to something else since I can't do illegal things to acquire the type of wealth she dreams of? How a literate and well exposed guy like u, ended up marrying a "sit down look" as a wife, baffles me. This is an ant infested wood u brought home. Enjoy the lizards having a field day.

payperpost: henceforth , I will no longer crack joke with anyone on this thread , my excessive play has brought so much disrespect. despite all my wealth as a very important personality in the country , I descended so low just to catch a little fun in the mix of the common class, but to my utmost dismay, I got flabbergasted by petty attitudes of Mr and Mrs Nobody and the peasants who are ready to do anything to massage their over bloated ego. I will speak to Buhari tonite about the fate of Nigeria
well, a new version of me will still be around. Cheerios This ya comment got me cracking... Ones in a while comic relief is necessary...

Yuneehk: Errr... If you're attending "mme-mme", you can't avoid it because that's the beauty of the cake. I'm also not a fan of sugar in pastries. If there's a way of making cake without sugar, I'm ready to try it out sef. Thank you, too. "mme-mme" Is the second place where one can eat unhealthy food after some local restaurants.. One can still tweak if it involves home made/DIY to guaranty healthy living. Meanwhile, sugar and pastries..

Mariangeles: Your heat was probably too high, that is the only explanation. Either that or you weren't paying attention Always fry at low heat, you can't go wrong with that. As for pap, that one na another story True...I usually lit the gas with frying pan heating, before whisking the egg then. Its fun watching someone do this things perfectly.. |

Food › Re: Cook In Your Kitchen, Take Pictures And Post It Here. SIMPLE! by Munzy14(m): 3:49pm On May 18, 2020 |
Mariangeles: First of all, to avoid burning you eggs, always fry on a medium to low heat People see eggs as an instant meal, so their heat tend to be very high. Also, don't allow your oil/pan to start smoking before pouring in your eggs. Start by frying your onion before pouring in your eggs. Once you've poured in your eggs, be patient for it to slowly cook and brown underneath, before lifting the brown side to allow the raw part slide down to cook and brown also. Lastly, you stir together to cook all parts.
As for the salt, a pinch of salt inbetween your index finger and your thumb should be enough. It is better and easier to eat a meal with less salt than too much salt.
Once your heat is set at low, your eggs will never burn. Nice explanation......But I swear it is not easy o, I and my guys burnt eggs plenty during undergraduate days... . Frying eggs was a task, Same with pan cakes...And it is a usual Saturday morning meal for me....There are things that are soo easy for others, but difficult for some... Till today I can't even explain y I can't make pap, but I can make custard... |

Twinkletwin: I'm a man aged 35. I discovered that my long time best friend was dating my wife. I have all the evidence . She is 25 years old. We got married and had a white weeding last year in April. My best friend is 45 . My friend of over 15 years has been seeing my wife behind my back. I found out about it last year December. My good friend was always exchanging messages and nude pictures with my wife on Whats App. I hacked my wife's phone and thats how i discovered what was happening between them . I dont want to lie guys this broke my heart. I trusted my friend and took him as my own brother. When i found out i decided not to ask them. Instead I made a desicion to act as if i dont know anything. I wanted to revenge. My feelings towards my wife changed. I just started acting up and i no longer treat her as i did before . With my friend I am pretending as if all is well . For my revenge I decided to look for my friends daughter who happens to be a student in one of the Universities close by to my residence. She is 19 years old. I approached her with the intent of dating her. After a while of trying, I succeeded in having her as my friend and now we have been dating. Im so happy because i actually succeeded. The best part is i have been sleeping with her with no protection. We recently discovered she is now pregnant . The issue now is she has fallen in love with me to the extent of saying she wants me to marry her. As for me i dont have a problem with that. As it is I'm waiting for the day they will discover that she is pregnant and we exchange i take his daughter and he takes my wife. nice story... |

zekepio: Great job op and I'm glad you finally killed the snake. I'm rearing 50 broilers. Bought them at 2 weeks old at the rate of #450 per bird. They are currently 17 days old and I have one casualty from possibly complications due to cold. What are u still doing with kerosene lamp? hey! remove ASAP you are toiling with CRD. If the area has a temperature below 23°C, use charcoal pot to keep them warm. Please we no longer use kerosene lamp in brooding birds. |
