mrvitalis: Why not build high rise apartment building 10 to 20 floors , there is gas pipeline at emene and night mile link it to the estate and build it's own gas turbine
The light bill collected from them can fuel a 10 mw has turbine ...in that same space u can house 7500 units that's over 30,000 residents averagely
They pay for gas ,water and light ...that's how u develop You're too intelligent bro, I wonder why we don't think this way |

You go still tire for the second one, lol. You should try to understand human nature that humans always seek to have what they don't have. I've arranged guest, groomsmen, bridesmaid, parents of both bride and groom for a wedding and it came out beautifully well. You'll even meet them before your event to assess and talk to them...
Send me a direct message and I'll run you through how it works. I also work based on your budget. The couple don't have a family? |

I have heard about Eventful from my boss. He is always raving about the owner and how she was the first person to start an event planning business in Lagos, they have a personal/friendly relationship. What you said about the range of services they provide is interesting news to me though, it sounds like a scene out of a Hollywood movie.
@ OP/Topic, I am so taken aback at your thought processes. Do you realize that what comes after (the marriage itself) is more important than a one day ceremony? You can have a memorable day without all the paparazzi, quality over quantity.
The best wedding I have ever attended was a simple affair without the usual activity associated with Naija weddings, it was like a party and an enjoyable one too with lots of dancing, a dance competition and dancing round the chairs competition.
There was no bridal train, just a best man and best lady, no aso-ebi sold (thank goodness) a buffet style event, no high table of distinguished guests........it was so much fun and the couple are still married o!
Dey there dey find glamourous Dubai style wedding, all that money you will spend hiring strangers for a posh wedding can be put to better use, to pay rent on your new home (if you don't own your house) to furnish that new home tastefully and even open a kids saving account for your first child.
The cost of living in this country is so high these days, it doesn't make sense to be spending money on things which don't add real value to human life. I don't think he will understand all these now till after the wedding |

mugnmuffin: Dear Nairalanders, I have an issue that has been on my mind for weeks now. My fiancé and I have been dating for over three years. I love him and he loves me too. We are physically attracted to each other. [s] We’re both catholic but since I graduated, during my service year I gave my life to Christ, got saved and left the Catholic Church. So I’ve been a Pentecostal Christian since then[/s] . He on the other hand is still catholic. I subtly try to nudge him to consider getting saved, i.e acknowledging Christ as lord and savior and becoming born again but he is content with his laidback Christian life.
Earlier this year, he asked to meet my parents and I let him. My parents like him especially because my younger sis is married and they have been waiting for me too. They’re glad I’ve someone. However, after the introduction,I regret it. I’m now certain that he’s not the one. I think about my spiritual life and how lukewarm he is about the things of God, I think about kids and how we’ll raise the, with such differing views about God and I’m discouraged. I feel like I’m settling because he checks all the boxes on the checklist of physical attributes. Another mistake I made is, I didn’t pray about this decision and that worries me because anything that involves him,I just act with pausing to ask God, but I always ask God about other aspects of my life. So it’s like my associating with him is a minus for my spiritual life and that’s a huge cause for concern.
At this point, I want to tell my parents I am not convinced it’s him but I’m afraid of the disappointment this will cause. *sigh* I’ll appreciate your thoughts, comments, criticisms... The above cancelled part shows how stupid you are. You look like one insensitive nicompoop by trying to sow a seed of enmity in Christianity. If you changed church thats no one's business and changing church to pentecostalism does not mean you're saved afterall the pentecostals came from the Catholics. I have no advice for you because the insensitivity you showed here could be the same insensitivity you use to treat your man, so the problem seems to be from you and not anyone else. So fvck off |

Afriqan: Well, I have a few doctors on my list who are currently learning German from me. One of the issues they face is that they have to do a licencing exam, same thing for Canada, but if u study in Europe, it gives you preference in the European market for job positions. So u have to know that if you plan to migrate to US or Canada later, you still have to write the same medical licencing exam as a Nigerian. But within EU, you'd have an advantage.
The doctor who also gave you an advice is not wrong too but ultimately nobody can tell you where and how to live cos fulfilment is a personal thing... So it's your choice man. Good luck. He said Eastern Europe which is either Russia or Ukraine which is not accepted elsewhere in Europe Western Europe like UK, Germany is different from Eastern Europe oo, he will still be needed to come back to his country of origin after studies and they're not regarded as much, we have some of them here in Nigeria who can't practice outside like their counterparts who studied in Nigeria |

Politics › Hunger Forces Children To Feed On Grass As Mum Looks On In Katsina Community by murphyibiam15(op): 5:41pm On Jun 21, 2021 |
reasing rate of poverty amongst the locals of Mabai village in Katsina State has become alarming as unidentified children were seen feeding on raw grass in one of the farms in the village. The incident occurred in Mabai village in the Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State. The children could be seen in a video feeding on raw grass as a result of hunger. The children are one of the many displaced individuals seeking refuge in Mabai village due to the recent increase in banditry in the state. A source noted that the business of the parents of the children was affected by the activities of bandits hence the children resulted in eating grass to suppress their hunger. A source told SaharaReporters that residents, including community leaders in about 16 communities had started relocating to Mabai village for protection from bandits. He said Mabai village is considered to have a very strong and heavily armed vigilante group that prevents bandits from penetrating it. He added that bandits have continued to terrorise the people as many people are being kidnapped, raped, and killed daily in the state. He explained that daily attacks from bandits across the state have caused people to flee their homeland and seek refuge at Mabai village. http://saharareporters.com/2021/06/21/hunger-forces-children-feed-grass-mum-looks-katsina-community |
