Religion / Re: My Atheism And Its Effect On My Mum! by muscar: 8:14am On Jan 05, 2014
Hmm How funny a world. Some people are christains by name, some others by birth and some by influence. To be candid, an alarming amount of people that go to church are not christains, some don't even know they are not,for all they know they were born into a christain family and had to follow the footsteps of their parents.

You will ALWAYS get nothing out of nothing.

Religion is a personal thing. If you as a person have not felt that 'feeling', the kind that comes from internal revelation and stability, then my dear you, whether you are a regular church-goer, pastor or a chior mistress...

You are not yet a christain. You never were.

You are just a follower of a religious society not a follower of christ.

Op, the choice you have made,I respect it as every other religious groups.

Open your mind, soul and body and try to be born-again for your own self, But if you still choose to remain who you are...

Who am I to judge you? A nobody.

Though tough, try to sit and have a heart to heart conversation with Mom. It is just one of a scared mother's empty threats...she for one knows what the bible says about commiting suicide.

...And lastly, as for people asking for a physical picture or a video clip of a 'living God', I am sorry that I have none to present other than myself, for I am a Living proof of a living God.

Celebrities / Genevieve Nnaji And D'banj Are Now Official Lovers?!!! by muscar: 7:21am On Dec 31, 2013
I don't believe it!!! Read for yourself...

According to famous blogger, Linda Ikeji, this is what she stated on her blog early today in quote;

"It's official! D'banj and Genevieve Nnaji are back together!

This is not rumour o...it's fact. The Kokomaster, 33, and Nigerian screen goddess Genevieve Nnaji, 34, are back together two years after they parted ways and this is a LIB exclusive. Genny is currently staying at D'banj's Lekki home, and I hear they are already talking marriage. Yes I said marriage. Don't know if it will happen, but they are currently talking about it, so in case it happens, remember y'all read it here first. *Wink*.

The loved up couple dated on and off from 2009 to 2011 before Genevieve broke off the relationship because of D'banj's commitment issues. Hope it works out for them this time around!"

So glad for them, I really do hope their union survives the 'test of time' with the media house poking their nares into their everyday business.

Haters, have you heard? She is considering marriage!!! Now you can go sniffing around her on what to condemn her with again.

You better start divulging your talent to the world. Infamous talents may not the very best, but, they are bestsellers simply because they believe in their potentials and refuse to hide them in a hole. I have read books but this is one special and unique piece! A piece reaped from innate creativity! Highly commendable! I won't mind paying for an update.

Family / Re: 20 Things You Must Teach Your Children Before They Grow Up by muscar: 10:42am On Aug 21, 2013
Beautiful piece op! However I feel one point a parent must teach their children is not to be 'over possessive' to desist from the 'don't touch that,it's my own!' Syndrome. Don't know how many of you have watched 'the gods must be crazy' but if you have,‎U'd notice the ever peaceful, happy and content bushmen became quarrelsome only when they had to share the use of one empty bottle of coca-cola. The feeling of wanting to possess, wanting to own,not wanting to share, wanting to have something better than the other clouded their hearts and hate, spite, selfishness, greed, conflict, malice were what filled their land.

When I become a mother by His grace, if one of my daughter goes to the market to buy wearing pieces only for herself,I would seize her wares until she goes back to that market and buy at least a wristband or a pair of rubber earrings for her other siblings. It creates selflessness and brings harmony and settlement to the society at large.
Religion / Re: Bible Was Untouched By Flames After Road Accident In Abuja by muscar: 5:48pm On Jul 28, 2013
It's quite unfortunate, most people are TOO intelligent to understand the simplicity of the word of God. His ways are not ours. Conclusively,I have come to agree that no matter what people say, some others will still look for something to say against it. Anything. Just something to make them sleep at night.

But whatever,to him his own. Na ‎ur life.

Okay,we all know no one is perfect Including the MODs of different sections but sadly, there are no excuses for some very silly and irrelevant threads posted on here.

Okay 1day I saw a post, 'wizkid gone shirtless!' and I am thinking, "oh well not so bad,at least it's not every day we get to see the star boy shirtless."

But then I scroll down and see, "picture of peter of P2 sipping moet' ...really MODs? REALLY! ‎it's not funny!

Please post yours and let's get them ribs cracking!

rezzy: Were they kept in a house in the same state/country? Those girls are not smart. I think they were enjoying themselves all along in the company of those men.
Because if i were to be in their shoes, after staying for 1 year, i will look for a way to run.

But come to think of it, if the compound is fully armed with bodyguards day and night nko?

Oh my God, what do you have for brains? Do you even know how appalling those frivolous words are? If I say you are a simpleton, please take that as a compliment.

Please with due respect, anyone who doesn't bear a deep intuitive understanding to discern the inward nature of this situation should kindly take several back seats.

How dismissively ignorant some of you can be! How could you even think 3 teenagers would run away from their famiilies and actually enjoy being molested/ill-treated by an abductor.

Let me give your vacuumed black head something to visualize. Three teenagers in a cold hardware room. The only window is ceiling-high and covered with thick nylon bags. Probably, there is even a surveillance camera in the room to which these inhumane abductors watch in turns. They push in tiny bits of food to them through a small space in a door most likely made of steel.

Dear Michael skullfield, how do you plan on breaking out?

For Goodness Sake!
How are we certain the second is not an old picture of her taken 2yrs ago?

If not, then I absolutely agree she's faking it. Grab some 3D glasses and face reality! Side and front view don't really matter here, its bloody obviously! Trace the end of her boobs to her tummy and do same for the second picture. Call me crazy but dude?!,there's a difference.

Lastly,The second bumpless clothe is lighter than the first so obviously,if there's really a baby bump,it ought to be more visible in the 2nd than the first.

Sports / Re: Praying To Win A Game Is A Waste Of Time. by muscar: 2:07pm On Feb 05, 2013
Jesus is neutral.
You r asking God to be bias if you tell Him to make one particular team win.
But we r nothing n can do nothing w/o him. Everything happens for a significant reason.
Instead the prayer shud b on asking God 4 divine wisdom (calculating angles and perspectives with knowing when n how to shoot)
Goodluck
...And protection (we need them free kicks though. ‎lol)

God also surprises boastful/overconfident people who feel they can do anything wit/without his grace.

Look deeper in2 wat all4naija said...as hard as it is,he has a point. Her title can only make complete sense to the igbo clan but what about other parts of the world? No. The title is cheapening I must confess. If I were the average american knowing fully well my country is a senior in advancement, the first thought that wud pop in2 ma head is 'lousy africans tryna make us wanna read their books' I love chimamanda dearly but this title is 'TURN OFF'. To be truthful, wen I first saw the title b4 opening this thread,I instantly got a mixed feeling (half-digusted half-it's ma baby adichie again) on the title b4 all49ja pointed it out.

I just read through your story. Take my word: you will be a good writer. In story writing, there is a message and there is a structure. Let me tell you about Structure for now: improve your structure by making sure that every character's line or words is written in complete reported speech for more people to flow with you when they are reading. you can check my story: THE DAY GUYMAN FELL or the movie script, THE HEART OF MAN, you will grab more. I will tell you about message later. More power to your elbow...
