yom2: . just 2 days jump in a few stock on d NSE another positive song is emanating nawa o . when is d bonanza price happening? The positivity I'm referring to is not the few gains on the NSE, but stability in Oil price and other factors that may affect oil price. It's positive news to hear that Saudi and Russia have agreed to cut output and to know that US will keep tariffs imposed on China at 10% for another 3 months (suspending the 25% for now). OPEC meeting is just around the corner, we'll know how much output cut on Thursday. As for bonanza, if oil price is rescued and stable, I'm not expecting any bonanza (if our understanding of bonanza prices are the same). I may be completely wrong though. |

BullBearMkt: Is December Rally A Possibility? Looking at the NSE Index, we are now within 61.8% fib level. This is one of the critical reversal levels watch out for by the professionals! Can this level holds the falling index?
- Daily candlestick finding it difficult to fall below 30581 and the last 3 trading days has been really holding with today's close at 31007.25 (according to NSE website). A retest of 30581 is needed to see how strong is this price level. If the price could hold another test, then on daily basis, stock prices most likely to rally -Weekly needs a close with a good rejection candle along with its POWER (Volume).
With these ingredients in place, then we are most likely to have December rally
PLAN YOUR TRADES AND TRADE YOUR PLANS Other ingredients: Oil price seems to have stabilized - Saudi and Russia have agreed to reduce output. US & China trade war also put on hold for 3 months while negotiations are going on. Positivity in the air. NOT A RECOMMENDATION |

Mpeace: But CP, on strength of this result alone, fidelity is still cheaper than fcmb. Eps for fidelity is .62 fcmb. 57. They are both cheaper than any other bank on NSE. Congrats FCMB, nice result. On my sheet, FCMB is the cheapest bank now, based on this result. You should use PE ratio to compare 2 stocks. FCMB PE = 2.30, FIDELITY PE = 3.03 You can use EPS to compare 2 stocks if only they both have the same share price, or if you're comparing the relative performance of a stock. |

Since last two years(2017 & 2018), all they have been meeting for has been to "leave everything as they were" Na wa for these pple. Lol |

DeRuggedProf: There seems to be smart money hovering above the market, but refusing to settle. This may be a good time to observe from BBM'S workshop, but not to meddle with his tools.... I have been trying very hard each day to restrain myself from using the molten wax and wicks lying on the floor to try forming some candlesticks to continue the present pattern.
You avoid much trouble when your prediction about the market is wrong and you apologise to the market on time before the market sends you a query. They don't want to settle into the unsettled dust surrounding oil price Oil price is key to the Nigerian economy and in turn the NSE. It's oil price that will determine the direction of the market now. OPEC and non-OPEC members have to act fast to cut output to bail out oil price. China is a major buyer of oil. With their economy slowing, as a result of the trade war with the US, oil import will reduce substantially, further worsening the glut. We are watching. |

Revibe: Fear God na, Guaranty @18 Lol Well, those are the sort of prices that were being quoted as bonanza. I never believed we would see such prices though. In fact, I had ruled out the possibility of any bonanza as at end of October, because I believed election noise was already factored into the market situation then. Even foreign investors had started coming back, looking at volumes and values being traded on some stocks. However, oil price crash could change the whole game. I adjust my plans as things unfold. I am uncomfortable with oil sitting comfortably below 70. |

Chibuking81: GTB 34, ZENITH 23.30, looking for next support lower level. Zenith visited #19 before, those in the bus get ready to visit below 17 soon. Looks like the uncertainties surrounding oil price will facilitate your bonanza. Enjoy your period |

swilo: Bonanza is Chibuking to decide.
Atiku vs Buhari (IMO rules out political / election related instability by a great margin).
Any bonanza will largely depend on reactions to Q3 results. Yeah.... The whole downtrend was presumed to be caused by 3 main factors; elections, US rate hikes and emerging markets sell off due to trade wars. For election, Atiku vs Buhari suggests less political tensions that could lead to any significant panic, going forward. Any further US rate hikes or emerging markets sell off might not even have much effect on the NSE again, as most of the foreign investors seem to have already left. Given the current situations, some stability is expected and we might not see that bonanza we have been waiting for. Nevertheless, market is still likely to fall, especially in November, when all the Q3 excitement dies down. Starting to cherry-pick cautiously is not a bad idea, but I wouldn’t dive in yet. NB: I may be wrong o |

Here’s how some selected stocks are doing as at Friday (14/09/2018) relative to their status as at 20/08/2018 which was last posted (over 3 weeks ago). It appears the rate of fall has dropped significantly for many stocks. Some have even gained. We are just midway into September though. CCNN made virtually all its loss within the last 3 trading days . Still watching and waiting….

Yayira: Musty00 I said let me wait for this to happen 3 times before I come give to kiss Whoa you are very observant. 3 times GTB pick race leave zenith. Chia the race no be here and it’s ever between 2 to 3 naira difference in a day if guarant want to run. We need more of this here. Musty which other stocks do this same thing? Yeah....Guaranty is very resilient. There is a lot of interest in the stock. It’s even proving more stubborn during this bear. I thought it would be selling below N30 by now. On Friday, Zenith threw away most of its initial gain, while Guaranty closed close to its day high. I won’t be surprised if it doesn’t fall below N27 throughout this bear period. I was targeting N22. Fingers crossed….. |

Yayira: Had the same discussion with someone here.. seems there’re lot of people who thinks paid dividends are losses. Lol how money wey dem give you be loss ? It’s in your pocket.. they deducted it from the share price and gave to you.. If you like you can buy some units of stock with whatever amount you were paid. It's relative. If you own the stock in question, your point is valid. If I don't own a stock, I'll consider the loss/gain to be simply the price difference between the last day close and close on markdown day. |

irookie: I think so too...I'm waiting at N18 to go 80% of my planned investment amount for Zenith and the remaining 20% at around N13 Is 80% not too much for first tranch? It's almost like full entry. The remaining 20% will not have much effect. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by musty00: 4:33pm On Sep 11, 2018 |
fxuser: seems ANY price below N18 is a buy on ur plan based on increasing div yield attraction esp above the 20% levels !
#interesting Exactly! I don't think I can go wrong with Zenith at an average price of N15. I'm not doing JIJO, though not an infinite long termer. But I can hold for 1 year. I trade the bigger waves Since I cannot time the bottom, I buy in tranches. This works for me |

Agbalowomeri: a further 10% loss from today will take u to 15% anticipated dividend yield on cost so what are you saying? This is achievable this week sef My own junction na 20% dividend yield on cost Chai I wish I had the courage to wait till then to buy my first tranch. That's like 13 naira By then, I'll be buying my third tranch |

Yayira: Who will pay you 2.50 for a 19 or 13 naira stock.
Ole
Those of you waiting for 15-20% dividend you’ll wait tire For Zenith, 15% is achievable this week. If their Q3's suggest that they can still pay what they paid FY2017, many will continue to use the 2017 dividend yield for analysis, with the assumption that they will pay at least same, irrespective of their share prices, and not everybody will wait for the dividend, it's just a gauge for attractive entry price. |

fxuser: nice share where is ur stop loss ? or u dont need one ? I don't use it o I just hold until I'm in profit. I continue to chop dividends. That's why I need the dividend yield to be quite reasonable . It's a backup. So no panic. |
