Yayira: with all the billions that was recorded oracle is still saying FPIs will flee ! Dem never flee finish ? Abi na dem get index ? Zenith trading N1.5b just today alone suggests they're still around. I suppose they don't all leave at the same time. They also have different investment strategies, just like we do |

Mcy56: Transcorp now 1.20. Na papa bear be this or wetin? It will be difficult for a stock like Transcorp to move in a bearish time like this, even with a very good result (especially without interim dividend). Even the market movers (Guaranty and Zenith) could close below 39 and 23 respectively today, given current bid positions. Watching... |

Where is senior Tolu ? Come oo it’s about to go down.. After this reggae na blues go follow. I won't be late o. I'm not targeting any 10-15% profit that could go wrong and trap my funds. This period is very tricky. I'm planning for a bigger kill...requires plenty of patience and the ability to fight itchy fingers (still learning hard to control this one, but there's a lot of improvement). |

After the last small bull run earlier in June, most stocks have been trading sideways (hanging around for Q2 results) with some bearish tendencies. The fall is not as bad as it seems. Most stocks have not even offered very good entry margins. Below are the declines so far for some selected stocks with closing prices on June 13 and July 13. We're still watching and waiting

Agbalowomeri: Next week will be clearer From the market pattern in the last 3 weeks, we will likely see a bull around release of half year results (which is from July ending) OR If the index falls close to 36k Whichever happens first. The market is currently trading sideways with bearish bias, but not real bear. I'm just speculating o |

Chibuking81: If you sell at #24 and keep the money to buy at @ #13/#14 before/during election period, you will get almost times two of your present holding.
If you fail to sell now, you will still have yourself to blame when the price get to #18, you will regret of not selling at #24, from there to #14. It depends on his assumptions: If he believes that there is no more bull this year, he can sell now and walk away with loss. But if he thinks there may be bull around half year result, he can wait till that time before selling. He may sell today at 24 now only to see it trading at 28 in 2 weeks time. If he has alternative cash to pickup bargains later this year, he may not even need to sell at loss at all, because Zenith will still sell above 30 next year. Just my thought, I may be wrong. It all depends on his investment strategy. |

Ugosample: I don't think zenith will fall that low tho
I just bought some for 25 naira and something within me is telling me that I have made a mistake Yes, it may not, I'm just following my instinct and sticking to my plan. The only positive momentum in view right now is expectation of Q2 results. After that it's going to be very bearish, unless there's some new positive development that is sufficient enough to move the market (even budget signing couldn't). Mind you, we're not seeing any bear yet. |
