and whoever shall say to his brother 'Raca,' will be liable to the Sanhedrin.
But whoever shall say, 'Fool!' will be liable to the Gehenna of fire.

- Matthew 5:22

"But I say to you, everyone who is angry with his brother without cause shall be subject to judgment.
Now you have heard it said, 'Whoever shall say to his brother, "Raca," shall be subject to the judgment of the council. '
But I say to you, whoever shall say, 'You fool,' shall be subject to the fire of Gehenna

Ridiculing, is a bigger fool's first, in between and last weapon, lmso. When next you have a bad thought about someone to unjustly call them a fool, tell it to go to hell because that in the first place, is exactly where the thought came from, lmso, if you dont, then you're writing your application form for membership in to the Gehenna of fire aka hell.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Are Pastors Insulting Freeze? by MuttleyLaff: 10:32pm On Nov 03, 2020
saddler:
It is now a will of joy for Pastors to take their mic in front of their congregation whether in their Church or on social media to insult, abuse or bully a man whose only crime is a different opinion on Christian doctrines.

From Ibieyome calling him a bastard and Somalian, to Eneche calling him a mad dog, it's all a case of attacking the messenger instead of the message.

Freeze may have crossed the line by some of his confrontational opinions but does that translate to the verbal outbursts on his person and family we are seeing from supposedly Christian role models who are self-confessed born-again Christians?

If Christians are to be honest and truthful as the religion requires of a genuine adherent, it is that the breeding ground for this opinions and counter opinions is the several controversial and ambiguous messages in the Bible.

Even these Pastors that have become United in their verbal onslaught on daddy freeze do not agree on all Christian doctrines despite claiming to worship one God and being filled with same holy Spirit.

Why can't they all come together to resolve these controversial/ambiguous verses and statements in the Bible?

Attacking Daddy Freeze's person and family will not stop him from having an opinion on Christianity, rather it will breed and raise more of his kind.

Interestingly, it is important to know that the very best way to find out the truth about knowledge is to scrutinize it. Religious knowledge isn't an exclusion from this rule. Hence someone like Daddy Freeze are important in Christianity to help check and scrutinize Bible knowledge in a bid to make the religion better.

As Christians, it is not for you to attack or insult Daddy Freeze because he opposes what your Pastors teaches in the church, it is for you to check what he says and find out for yourself if it is the truth. For some of these Pastors are insulting him because of their pockets. Be wise.

People will come, crawling out of the woodwork, when you step on their sacred cow(s)
God has Freeze's back. Freeze has the backing of God. Freeze has God watching his back for him.

I am 100000% certain that if whatever bible verses you put forward to support this claim, is contextually and 2 Timothy 2:15 read, it will become apparent that "divorce is unbiblical", based on the grounds bordering on physical, emotional and psychological abuses, infidelity, promiscuity, unfaithfulness, philandering, sleeping around, jumping from one bed to another, having sex liaisons with multiple persons, maltreatment, mistreatment, rough handling, being unloved and uncared for, adulteries et cetera.

I, even am sure that, if God hated divorce per se, He wouldn't have given Israel a divorce certificate

Muttleylaff, I do not want you to be uninformed; goodness does not equate to righteousness.
"Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person,

"

Acehart, you're not showing you are aware that Bodydialect57 opened the thread with a header question that asked: "What Is The Sin That Cannot Be Forgiven?" sic, and much later on, at the end of body of the thread precisely, asked this further question:
"What word/words can one speak against the Holy Spirit and will not earn forgiveness in this world and the one to come?" sic, now brother, of course, goodness does not equate to righteousness, but do you know why goodness does not equate to righteousness, lmso. Well, it simply is because righteousness is living up to the letter of the law and not the spirit of the law, lmso, while goodness is going a step above righteousness, lmso. You didnt at all know that before now, isn't it, lmso. I hope you being uninformed about that dont find the info "complex", lmso

God doesn't accept everyone who is kind, loyal, caring, trusting, loving, and faithful ...
God accepts all that manifest the fruit of the Spirit, which evident in Galatians 5:22-23 are:
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, endurance, gentleness and self-control

I am sure that you would agree that one cannot manifest the fruit of the spirit without the assistance of God’s holy spirit, lmso. I am sure that you would agree that God accepts everyone that manifests the fruit of the spirit, which is: "kind, loyal, caring, trusting, loving, and faithful" sic

Acehart:

Fyi, we all made acceptable according to whatever we've opted for or chosen to do and that God permits. Cases in point, lmso, Satan was made acceptable according to God's election. Pharaoh was made acceptable according to God's election. King Saul was made acceptable according to God's election. Judas Iscariot was made acceptable according to God's election. Acehart:
If those who use the flesh wrongly, do not accept the gospel, they can never be justified no matter the sweetness of their goodness. This applies to all who live according to the dictates of the god of this world.
You really doesnt know mẹmẹ. Please articulate in a specified and identifying way, how your so-called, those who use the flesh wrongly, are using the flesh wrongly.

You dont really know what the gospel is. They are not justified because of manifesting the fruit of the Spirit, lmso, but they are justified by having the very righteousness of God in Christ because they have been made right with God through Christ.

They are just-if-ied because of, the if, of Yahusha Ha Mashiach aka Jesus Christ. On the condition of believing in and on Yahusha Ha Mashiach aka Jesus Christ, they automatically, are justified. Praise God. Alleluia!

Acehart:
God doesn't only look at the hearts of men; He is able to transform the hearts of men. This matter of our salvation is by the power that raised Christ from the dead, and the power that transforms by the renewing of your mind is by the same power.
Why not be specific about what exactly it is in the hearts of men, that pinpointedly needs transforming the hearts of men over and/or say exactly what is renewing of your mind specifically about, hmm?

Acehart:
Elisha knew of this renewing process and he showed a great example of how to deal with young converts - Young converts must be tenderly dealt with. Elisha was an overseer who was sensible, sound in faith, and love (may all overseers know that all that should be known of men is that they come to know Christ and Him crucified, and it would be sensible to be oblivious of their personal preferences).
Thank you for reinforcing my earlier point above about not living up to the letter of the law but to live up to the spirit of the law, lmso. Elisha sensibly knew that you don't throw, especially the washed up baby, out with the bathwater, lmso

If anything was left out of the account of the relationship between these wonderful specimen of men who once walked the face of the Earth, it may be that nothing remained to be accounted for.
lmso, so it is that from both the Old Testament (e.g. 1 Samuel 20:30 and 1 Samuel 20:41) and New Testament, we see them, portray same sex attraction love and PDA in good light, albeit discreetly.

Acehart:
However, if one who had a matrimonial relationship with the same sex approached Elisha with the same dilemma of conscience Naaman had when he said: “In this matter may the Lord pardon your servant: when my master goes into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leans on my hand and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, when I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, the Lord pardon your servant in this matter." Elisha would respond to the homosexual in like manner as he responded to Naaman: "Go in peace."
Have you ever thought why Elisha would respond, in like manner as he responded to Naaman: "Go in peace," huh? Have you thought that, maybe it is because Elisha knows that God looks at the heart of men and also that He accepts everyone who is kind, loyal, caring, trusting, loving and faithful, erhn?

Matthew 12:22-32.
"22Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
23And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
24But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
25And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
26And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
27And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore, they shall be your judges.
28But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
29Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man and then he will spoil his house.
30He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
31Wherefore, I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32And whosoever, speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever, speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come
"

The Lord Jesus Christ spoke those words as part of his responses to the Pharisees of His time who accused Him of healing a blind and dumb by Beelzebub, the prince of devils.

What word/words can one speak against the Holy Spirit and will not earn forgiveness in this world and the one to come?
What is the fruit of the Holy Spirit? Would God refuse love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, endurance, gentleness and self-control. Would God forgive word/words, kicking against the fruit of the Spirit?

Kobojunkie:
According to Jesus Christ, in verse 32 of Matthew 12, any word spoken against the Spirit of God Himself is unforgivable.

It doesn't matter what word it is. So long as it is directly against the Spirit of God it is considered blasphemous, and as Jesus Christ said, unforgivable.

A more interesting question would be how a God who swore to forgive all our sins and remember them no more, and said that if we repent and turn back to Him, He would indeed forgive us all our iniquities, would change His tone in the case of this sin as described by Jesus Christ. Are all sins no longer equal?

Would God really refuse to hear the cries of a man who has committed blasphemy against the Spirit of God? Did God change His mind? Or lie to us?
"7Beloved, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
8The one who does not love, does not know God, for God is love
18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment,
and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
"
- 1 John 4:7-8,18

"Three things will last forever
— faith, hope, and love
— and the greatest of these is love.
"
- 1 Corinthians 13:13

Unarguably, the absence of unconditional love, denial to unconditionally love, unrecognising unconditional love is/are what's the sin(s) that cannot be forgiven, lmso.

"1And as He passed, He saw a man blind from his mother's womb.
2And His disciples asked him and they were saying, "Our Master, who is it that has sinned, this one or his parents, that he would be born blind?"
3Yeshua said to them, "He had not sinned nor his parents, but that the works of God may appear in him.
(i.e. Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the works of God would be displayed in him)

- John 9:1-3

God created all people. Period. The works of God are not displayed in pedophiles or predators on children. The works of God, are not displayed in bestiality, but the works of God, however, are displayed in the lives and relationship of two consenting adult same sex attraction couple living together, where there is Proverbs 3:3 steadfast love and faithfulness/loyalty and Galatians 5:22-23's expression of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, endurance, gentleness and self-control.

Of course, only God knows and so the reason why God in His infinite wisdom, allowed same sex attraction to happen, permeate in nature, even on to human beings. Same sex attraction happened, so that the works of God would be displayed in them enough, for us, human beings, to care about others in same sex relationships, that are sexually orientation wise, different to us, and so that, we dont become unemotionally cold, detached, indifferent, far removed to the point of disconnect, that we have no word of encouragement or discouragement for those who practise monogamous committed, faithful, lovely, affectionate, trusting, caring, enjoyable, harmless, genuine long lasting until death do part mutually consensual adult same sex relationships.

Same sex attraction bordering on indulging in promiscuity, infidelity, temple prostitution and sex laced idolatry rituals is what and all God frowns up at.

It's not rocket science to suss out, that its being party to crass denying of others freedom to unconditionally practice LOVE, the kind of love what God epitomises, is what's the sin that cannot be forgiven.

- Genesis 3:6

Self-centeredness, the idea, thought, mind of thinking only about yourself and not about the needs of God and/or feelings of other people, in us has to die before God can manifest fully.

Whichever way back in the garden, we actually, were supposed to die there and then. "Jesus Christ Superstar" if placed with the safety pin latch off and with an inexperienced easily influenced and/or highly impressionable person, will be like handing off a loaded gun to an untrained child, fatality waiting to happen.

One minute, I am watching it, laughing, kicking my feet in air, slamming myself on the sette back, then suddenly I am tuned all mushy gushy emotional, eyes all teary and misty up. Its a roller coaster. Love it!

I have told you severally that I don’t care about same sex relationships. I have no word of encouragement or discouragement for those who practice it. Only God knows.

Concerning that thread, it was just a conversation between my friend and I (just the way it was). Though I mentioned the servant who did a thankless task, our concern was the meaning behind “speaking to the tree” and its relationship to the prayers we hear in many ‘worship grounds’.

So dude, rock the table so that we may have another lengthy thread that has nothing to do with homosexuality or the trinity or Jesus’ body cool

That other thread you opened, I was wondering how you managed, not to mention that the narrative started off as and/or with temptation, then it progressed on to offences, before reaching the crescendo around the issue of, not necessarily receiving, offering of thanks, expression of gratitude, acknowledgement and/or appreciation for executing moral responsibilities and performing ones duties as of expected a child/son/daughter/man or woman of God and citizen of the kingdom of Heaven, to do, lmso.

It is obvious you and your kind are becoming a little bolder. Could it be it is because you think the time for faggotry freedom in this country is on the horizon? Futility! Guess what? You will never have the opportunity to flaunt that abomination and perversion called homosexuality anywhere in this country.

You even wish those who oppose your detestable act extinction when they have not called for any kind of punishment upon you. That is how devilish-minded and wicked faggits are. And you want gullible people to believe you are as harmless as doves. Lol! Akụkọ ụwa nke ututu!

Faggits have only wickedness in their hearts for their fellow human beings. Homosexuals hate their fellow human beings. They even hate one another more than they hate those who are not. The only thing that unites homosexuals is their desire to have the freedom to engage in their perversion. Do you know why this is so? Ask me why and I will give you an answer.

The Word of Yahveh Almighty says no to fagg@try.

vybzkartel:
Job 1:6
“Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.”

Is Satan also amongst the sons of God
Categorically capital NO, Satan and none either of the angelic hosts of heaven are sons of God.

vybzkartel:
Who are these sons of God referred to?
The sons of God referred to in that verse and every other similar verses in the Bible are human beings, as they’ve always have fundamentally being.

vybzkartel:
What point in time this this take place? Was it before or After the fall of Adam?
Of course, it is after Adam and Eve’s fall from grace to grass.

Adam, was the first son of God, (i.e. Luke 3:38) while scripture, at Job 1:3, tells us that Job, at his time and particularly at the period when that narrative was written, that, Job was the greatest, out of the whole and/or of all sons of the East (i.e. an indirect expression substituted for sons of God)

MuttleyLaff:
... I already have been telling you that no one knows God's personal name, yet here you are, axe clung over head, insisting that your invented and artificial Latinized name Jehovah is God's personal name.

You're just making stronger, confirming my points for me and strengthening, proving the case that the name Jehovah, is invented, artificial and bogus. Thank you very much, lmso

The Hebrew letters designated for God, as I've earlier intimated you about, after transliteration is the word Yhvh or YHWH. The name Jehovah is a legacy word inherited from the period of Romanization influence of which your organisation later on adopted. There is no letter J, in Hebraic alphabet, so Jehovah cannot at all, in the real sense possibly be God's name. Just because Jehovah, allegedly is popular and in widely acceptance, doesnt take away the fact and truth it is bogus, that its an invented and artificial Latinized name.

Fyi the word Yahweh, is a descriptor and is not all God's personal name. The word comes from a root word that means "become, exist, self exist, to become," which is from how God told Moshe aka Moses to the tell the Israelites that "I will become what I choose to become" is who sent him to them when he asked for God's name. God sidestepped giving Moshe aka Moses any name but instead offered him the Yahweh descriptor (i.e. I AM that I AM or I AM who I AM or even I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE or I will become what I choose to become)

fiyinfoluwa29093:
What is the Tetragrammaton?
How is it rightfully pronounced?
What is the History underpinning the Tetragrammaton?
Thank you

MuttleyLaff:
Tetragrammaton is a set of descriptor words about God, that is used to assuredly express the certainty of ''I AM" carrying the speaking sense of God, being the Being with infinite capabilities (i.e. infinite ability to do anything, infinite ability to be anything, infinite capacity to understand and respond to any situations et cetera)

The Tetragrammaton, is defining the limitless iterability of the Beingness of God (i.e. illogical and logical possibilities of who, whom, and what God can be, also where and when God can be)

It linguistically, is pronounced, vocalised or articulated as Yahweh.

The Tetragrammaton, in fact and actually, is a composition of Hebraic four letters, namely Y, H, W and H.

These four Hebraic four letters form the Hebrew word, from which the Hebraic four letters are transliterated as YHWH and are linguistically, pronounced, vocalised or articulated as Yahweh.

Hmmm, why are you not as a matter of easy peasy lemon squeezy way not start with using a first-person pronoun, introduce yourself to me, tell what your name is, tell me who you are and a few more things about yourself, erhn?

illicit, I want you to because you from introducing yourself to me, telling what your name is, telling me who you are and a few more things about yourself with using a first-person pronoun, will discover and understand the implication of the Tetragrammaton and more. You will realise that the Tetragrammaton is not a personal name but is according to scripture, is a memorial-name, something to be famous, well known and renowned with

illicit what are you well known about, well talked about of, famous for, renowned for of, on Nairaland, particularly the Religion forum, illicit, hmm? illicit:
When pharaoh asked Moses who sent him, what did Moses say?
MuttleyLaff:
"9Now, listen carefully! The cry of the Israelis has come to my attention about how severely the Egyptians have been oppressing them.
10So go! I am sending you to Pharaoh. Bring my people the Israelis out of Egypt.”
11But Moses told God, “Who am I? How can I go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelis out of Egypt?”
12Then Godi said, “I certainly will be with you. And this will be the sign for you that it is I who sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, all of you will serve God on this mountain.”
13Moses told God, “Look! When I go to the Israelis and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors sent me to you,’ they’ll say to me, ‘What is his name?’ What should I say to them?”
14God replied to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM,” and then said, “Tell the Israelis: ‘I AM sent me to you."
"
- Exodus 3:9-14

Please review the two questions put out in Exodus 3:13 and compare with the answer given in Exodus 3:14
"1Later, Moses and Aaron went in and said to Pharaoh, “This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel, says: Let My people go, so that they may hold a festival for Me in the wilderness.”
2But Pharaoh responded, “Who is Yahweh that I should obey Him by letting Israel go? I do not know anything about Yahweh, and besides, I will not let Israel go.”"
- Exodus 5:1-2

I see that we have a situation here where you dont want to accept the scripture in three point blank, emphatical and straightforward ways refused to say what God's personal name is, so I again reproduced one of such occassions shared previously with you on this thread, for you to first see that Yahweh is not God's personal name, then secondly, now answering your question about when Pharaoh asked Moses who sent him, what did Moses say. Well Moshe aka Moses repeated exactly the descriptor given him as in Exodus 3:14

illicit:
What did Pharaoh say again? Pharaoh said he hasn't heard of anyone with such name....

if I sent u an errand for example, then I ask u to tell whoever I sent u to that corper sent u, if the person has prior knowledge of me, they might easily recognise which particular corper u mean. as there are many corpers.

But if the person has never met me or didn't know which particular corper, the person will ask, which corper? then u will use my name i.e corper Tope or the corper that do wear black shade....

If I am sending u on a formal business, I will give you my real name, wether the person I am sending u to recognise or not, that's my name for future reference....

Pharaoh was a powerful king (god) he would have demanded straight answers from Moses, didn't u see that Moses was initially scared to go meet him.... giving Pharaoh equivocal answers would have endangered his life....
I am not going to beat around the bush with, meaning I am going to cut to the chase. OK.

I have tried something similar with you when I asked you to please tell me who you are. Please tell me what your name is. Please tell me in a sentence what your Nairaland user ID name is and thanked you in advance for granting these easy, simple, innocent, harmless, point blank and straight forward requests, but you dodged and hid from granting the humble requests and answering the questions, so I will re-try with another approach, which is:
illicit, please start with using a first-person pronoun, introduce yourself to me, tell what your name is, tell me who you are and a few more things about yourself
