Does the consonants YHWH represent name of God or title ''GOD AKMIGHTY'' ?

MuttleyLaff:
... YHWH, the Tetragrammaton, which is a composition of those four YHWH letters, that form the Hebrew word, from which the four letters transliterated as YHWH and articulated as Yahweh even shortened to Yah, is not God's personal name

On three different and separate occasions, what is God's personal name was asked and on each three, different and separate occasions, the request to reveal what the personal name of God is, was not granted

MuttleyLaff:
... Watch this enilove.

If you, enilove, miraculously have the power and ability to remain being enilove and at the same point, in time, you "exerchomai" (i.e. you projected, protruded, externalised) yourself out, to become still remaining being your self, but in the external form of a son (i.e. Lil' enilove) who is co-existing with you, enilove. Now tell me. In spite of the phrase: "like father, like son", who in your understanding and in regards of conventional wisdom between enilove, the father and yourself coexisting in the form of your son Lil' enilove, is greater, lmso?

You see to fulfil all forms of righteousness, sons are submissive to fathers. They give in, to the authority and will of fathers. Sons are influenced by their fathers, hence why fathers are greater, lmso. In this case, though enilove, the father and Lil' enilove, the son, are the one and same person, you, enilove, as the father is greater than you, Lil' enilove, as the son. Capisce now, lmso?
I sincerely hope, that after carefully and thoughtfully going over the immediate above post reproduced here from another thread for you, that you get it now enilove, lmso

What then do you mean by your statements below ?

''You can't claim to believe the Scriptures and at the same time deny that Yahushua the Messiah is God, and not just God, he is the only begotten Son of YHVH and one with YHVH, the Father.

Anyone who denies that Yahushua the Messiah is YHVH Almighty, God Almighty, also denies he is the Word of YHVH Almighty. Such a person neither has any regard for the Scriptures nor what they say.''

The first paragraph says Jesus Christ is the Son of God but the second paragraph is saying that Jesus is YHWH (Jehovah) .

Which is which
"Jesus replied,
"What is impossible with man is possible with God.""
(i.e. Jesus replied,
"There are some things that people cannot do, but God can do anything."

- Luke 18:27

Its like you're, one of those who like, to put limitations on God, abi, lmso. Fyi, what is impossible for men, is not impossible for God to do, so make no mistake that, Jesus Christ is the Son of God and saying that Jesus is YHWH (i.e. God Almighty) are incontrovertible statements.

1/ Do you know what the descriptor word, YHWH (i.e. Exodus 3:14, lmso), erroneously taught to be the personal name of God, means?
2/ Do you know that the Jehovah word, that you've used above, is an invented and bogus word, lmso?

... The quran in Surah 10:94, has the good sense to tell Muslims, if they are in doubt, to go ask "People of Book," that is, "People of Book," meaning, believers.
Surah Yunus [10:94]

But if you are in doubt, as to what we have revealed to you, ask those who read the Book before you; certainly the truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore you should not be of the disputers.

Humble yourself, my dear beloved Muslim brother, using the AntiChristian moniker, you are among brethren, sisters, believers, friends here, lmso

Where did OP even imply such a thing not to talk stating explicitly?

Yes or no?
Emphatic and capital YES, that Yesha Ha Masiah, aka Jesus Christ, God Incarnate, Our Lord and Saviour of the whole wide world does have a Father

Preciousgirl:
Who was the Father of Melchizedek?
Answer this one first

MuttleyLaff:
"No one knows anything about Melchizedek's father, mother, or ancestors.
No one knows when he was born or when he died. Like the Son of God, Melchizedek continues to be a priest forever.
"
- Hebrews 7:3

Danpersie/31, Melchizedek was no more and no less, a human being, just as like you and I, are.

Melchizedek, as seen from the above quote, taken from a comment made on another thread, was a reputable earthly human king and at the same time a priest

What the Bible, with the phrase "... without beginning or end ..." in relation to Melchizedek meant, is that much of Melchizedek's life, in terms of his birth and/or death, is shrouded in mystery, meaning that no one knew when he was given birth to and no one knew when died, so the reason, though of course, he was given birth to and died, he still, is said to be one "... without beginning or end ..." all because of the absence and lack of recorded genealogical recorded data about him. It is this particular part and fact about Melchizedek, that Hebrews 7:3 was capturing and mentioning to draw attention to.
@Preciousgirl

You can't claim to believe the Scriptures and at the same time deny that Yahushua the Messiah is God, and not just God, he is the only begotten Son of YHVH and one with YHVH, the Father.

Anyone who denies that Yahushua the Messiah is YHVH Almighty, God Almighty, also denies he is the Word of YHVH Almighty. Such a person neither has any regard for the Scriptures nor what they say.

Anyone who accepts that Yahushua the Messiah is the Word of YHVH Almighty, God Almighty, and at the same time denies that he is God Almighty is either confused or deceiving himself or herself.

It is either you believe the Scriptures and what they say or you do not. You cannot believe the Scriptures, accept what they say and reject Yahushua the Messiah as God Almighty.

Don't marry a man, don't marry a woman, marry a LIFE PARTNER. Don't marry for beauty, beauty fades. Don't marry for shape, child birth can unshape. Don’t marry for money money can finish, something can happen that may affect the money, cars or houses. Marry for destiny and purpose. Be physically attracted to your spouse. You may not be that beautiful but be attractive.

Bola146:
God bless you sir
I second this

iamcee:
Exactly..you said it all
These are mistakes a lot of people make nowadays.
When you ask about the reason why they are getting married to this person, all they could say is she is beautiful, her beauty is like a bunch of rose,etc..they have forgotten that beauty fades.
So once the beauty starts fading, the rate of likeness which they have for the woman or man would decrease.
Never marry someone just because of beauty alone, what else does the person gat which interest you apart from his or her physical appearance.
Never marry for shapes and money as well ..
These are just the candid truth.
I would still create a thread to discuss further about this.
Good complementing comments

MuttleyLaff:
No many people know and so realise that to be loved by God is the highest relationship, the highest achievement, and the highest position in life. Praise God. Alleluia

Relationship, is exactly one of the important things, what the cross on which Yahshua Ha Mashiah aka Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour of the whole wide world died on, symbolises.

The cross, serves as a few meaningful symbols, one which is, it serves to indicate the vertical relationship with God, to start with and then next, the horizontal relationship with our neighbour, whoever our neighbour is, whatever his/her race, colour, sexuality, creed, height, size, taste et cetera is, lmso ...

"Indeed, your husband is your Maker
-- His name is Yahweh of Hosts
-- and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;
He is called the God of all the earth.
"
- Isaiah 54:5

Aye, relationship with God comes first, as He truly is the Center, the focal point with everything else in life receiving its meaning and direction from that vital Center.

When all is done and dusted, relationship, when and after the dust settles, with faith, hope and love, outlives everything and remains (i.e. 1 Corinthians 13:13)

Notice that it's from "It is not good for the man to live alone. I will make a suitable companion to help him" that its observed that relationship is the mother of companionship. Marriage, is a training ground, so with, to perfect relationship skills in, lmso. It isnt easy being married, and so why, marriage isnt necessarily for everyone, lmso. As we can see from Isaiah 54:5 above, and just taking it as an example of one, there are different kinds of marriage, lmso. Civil marriage, is another example, lmso

MuttleyLaff:
...Love, is no respecter of gender, lmso, which is why love is the reason for marriage. Marriage isn't about gender nor procreation, lmso. It is about the exchanging of love, lmso. Sometimes, the person that you truly meant to love, to fall in love with, will come into your life, in the strangest, most unexpected way and even in certain peculiar cases, in an unanticipated gender or sex, lmso

Waylex21:
Well, Jesus said to Nicodemus that salvation consists of being born of water and the Spirit. That is baptism. You have not been able to fully grasp what Jesus said. To let you know the importance of baptism, Jesus Himself chose to be baptized and when John the Baptist questioned Jesus, He responded that it was for righteousness sake. The same Jesus before His ascension in Matt.28:18-20 specified what steps believers must take and baptism was clearly spelt out with the rite.

The Acts of the Apostles records the conversion experience of believers with particular reference to baptism. Saying some prayers is not enough to make one a born again. The baptismal aspect of being reborn cannot be left out.

Kobojunkie:
Jesus Christ spoke to Nicodemus about being BORN AGAIN and not about SALVATION. [s]Salvation can be seen as a sort of prerequisite to being born again[/s] since one first must believe in the person of Jesus Christ before anything else. undecided

That said, Salvation(which is from the condemnation of sin .i.e. Death) applies to all those who believe( also are baptized and partake in the last supper) in Jesus Christ. Salvation is redemption from the law of sin and death instituted by God Himself from the time of Adam, with the gift of Life bestowed on the one who is saved in it's place. undecided
[s]However, as Jesus Christ made clear in His conversation with Nicodemus in John 3, of those who believe, only those who go on to become Born Again will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.[/s] [s]The rest, though also saved(have salvation) will not enter into Heaven. in other words, salvation does not guarantee anyone entry into Kingdom of Heaven since only those who become Born again will have a part in the Kingdom of Heaven, according to Jesus Christ in John 3.[/s]

You're twisting the Jesus narrative, lmso

"9If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God,
and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved
.
11As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced
"
- Romans 10:9-11

You are correct that Jesus Christ spoke to Nicodemus about being BORN AGAIN (i.e. regeneration) and not about SALVATION. So what's the reason why Jesus Christ spoke to Nicodemus about being BORN AGAIN (i.e. regeneration) and not about SALVATION (i.e. redemption)?

The reason is because BORN AGAIN (i.e. regeneration) is a prerequisite for SALVATION (i.e. redemption). Except you are BORN AGAIN (i.e. regenerated) you can't have SALVATION (i.e. cant smell redemption, lmso)

Jesus Christ, made clear in His conversation with Nicodemus, in John 3:3, that its only those who have become Born Again, that can see the kingdom of God (i.e. that have faith to make them say, they SEE the move of God's Hand and so believe they witness the demonstration(s) of the power of the kingdom of God).

Jesus Christ, made details clearer, by upping the ante, in John 3:5-7, with saying that, aside the aspect of SEEING the kingdom of God, apparently, no one can enter the kingdom of God, unless he is born of water and the Spirit, lmso.

SEEING the kingdom of God and ENTERING the kingdom of God, aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. I can see America, but it doesn't necessarily mean that I can enter America. I need valid travel document, valid entry permit, valid status et cetera in order to be legally and lawfully permitted entry into America, lmso. Without all requirements satisfied, I can only see America from the airport arrival. Would be denied entry into America. Would be prevented from entering America and of course get deported to where I started to make the travel from.

Born again this and that
It's funny that people think by saying some simple words they have become new beings, you guys should have sense for once.
Like a Reverend father I look up to once said, born again simply means baptism, not saying a bunch of words, if you aren't baptized you aren't born again.
And being baptized doesn't make you an official candidate of heaven, if you're a sinner, you go to hell, or so the Bible says

Your Reverend Father, like the many false teachers and false prophets out there, is wrong, since that analogy does not fit with what Jesus Christ said to Nicodemus about the subject in John 3.

Sticking to the "born again" aspect only, now the three of una JeffreyOraz, Kobojunkie and Waylex21, have a stab and tell:
1/ How many times did Yahshua Ha Mashiah, aka Jesus Christ, God Incarnate, our Lord and Saviour of the whole wide world, taught "born again" in His 33 and half years earthly ministry?
2/ What is the number of people, Yahshua Ha Mashiah, aka Jesus Christ, God Incarnate, our Lord and Saviour of the whole wide world, had the "born again" discussion with?
3/ Give the total number of people Yahshua Ha Mashiah, aka Jesus Christ, God Incarnate, our Lord and Saviour of the whole wide world, commanded that by themselves, they become "born again"
4/ Give 5-10 examples of how you can know that you are "born again" aka regenerated aka "born from on high", in the real, actual and original text sense aka "born from above"
5/ What correlation do you see between John 3:3 and John 3:31, lmso?

sonofjos:
Dear lagosians,

Please pardon the grammatic errors.

Being born and bred in the north, I am conditioned to a certain societal behaviour that the first time I went to Lagos, interacting and seeing the people was a bit of a cultural shock to me. I've travelled to many states in the North and few in the south and almost all seemed just about the same as home.

But the first time I visited Lagos a few years ago I had many experiences that made it seem as if was in another country entirely. I'll share a few notable ones.

Please note that I'm not looking for trouble, I'm just giving a honest opinion

It was as if everyone seemd to converse harshly over very simple transactions. One would think they know each other from somewhere.
Many people in the public seemed angry as a default mode. I wondered why.

I boarded a bus to computer village and a primary school kid later joined and was later exchanging very hot words with the conductor who was a very muscular guy over some trivial amount. I watched with interest and it got to a point where I feared for the little guy because If that conductor decided to as much as slap the small boy, there won't be much left. But somehow the conductor calmed down as if he had met a worthy opponent. That boy seemed to me as if he had super powers.

I joined another bus and a fight broke out between the conductor and a passenger. Both of whom were muscular. None would hear sorry. The fight got so bad that the both ended with broken faces and the passenger got a rock and shattered off both side mirrors of the bus. Since I intended to join night bus home, I kukuma dropped and joined okada (it was legal then) which was much more expensive but worth it. I don't know how they ended.

I noticed many young people are muscular body builders. I wonder why.

I was walking on a street at computer village and a guy started threatening and commanding me to come over. At first, I thought he was speaking to someone else when I realised there was no one around me, and he made it clear he was referring to me. Till today, I don't know what confidence made me to keep walking. That was how I escaped O.
Everyone seems to be in hell of a rush.
I even said that if rapture takes place, Lagos would not know anything had happened for two weeks.

But Behind all these seemingly negative atmosphere, I discovered that lagosians are very kind people. Always willing to help.
As a stranger, I found it difficult to find places and routes. But almost anyone you ask is very willing to show you directions. I've had instances where people left their comfort to walk me to places where they gave me directions. Very welcoming set of people to strangers I tell you.

All these mixed experiences made me say that Lagosians are Indeed a very strange people.

Many other things I've experienced at Lagos over my other subsequent visits, but Lagos has remained strange to me.

I mean no disrespect to anyone, I'm just a fellow countryman who wants to better know my country.

My question to you guys is, why is Lagos the way it is?

Is there anything I missed or misunderstood about Lagos?

Thanks

Its a city like Lagos, that will teach JJC Jos person sonofjos bible, specifically Psalm 23:4 and the wisdom to bone face walk through the valley of the shadow of death, and fear no evil. Lagos gave sonofjos wisdom confidence, made sonofjos to keep walking and that was how sonofjos escaped, lmso..

I have read your call for peace. For years the Fulani and the Yorubaland Farmers have had occasional contention over grazing but it was not a threat to Yorubaland Farmers livelihood in terms of the scope until 2015 when President Muhammadu Buhari was elected into office. Since then it took an unprecedented acceleration that has brought poverty, misery, unleashed mayhem and destroyed SW Nigeria. I am a farmer. I saw it all and raised the alarm way back in 2015. I had to shoot their cows on their entering my property after their Bororo leader decided to test me even after I fired 2 warning ⚠️ shots into the air and into the ground.

What I observed that day in December 2015 was “Combat Tradecraft“ of trained terrorist. Their leader crouched and cupped his ear from 200 yards looking at my direction to decipher the type of weaponry I had, all the while with an AK-47 slung over his left shoulder. He nugged his cattle further into my farm. I let the huge female cow move well away to his left and from a range of 50 yards, I sent a bullet into its abdomen. The huge cow shuddered and galloped back in the direction of the leader who had brought out his AK-47 and transferred it to his right shoulder. I had my rifle telescope trained on him the instant after I belly shot his huge cow. I wanted to give him the honor of the first shot before I would shoot the AK-47 out of his right shoulder. Something made him change his mind and he disengaged his hostile intentions, returned the rifle to his left armpit gesticulated to the cows and his 3 other colleagues and ran away in a cloud of dust.

It wasn’t over, they returned and tested me at set distances time and time again: 300 yards, 400 yards, 500 yards and 550 yards and each time I deliberately belly shot 2 to 3 of their cattle at each of the distances. The fact that they tested me at specific distances showed me these are combat trained Bororo Fulani.

I had sent for the Police to file a formal Police report after the 1st incident in December 2015. The Police inspector told me that they had seized AK-47 assault rifles from Fulani’s on 9 different occasions and arrested them, only to recieve telephone calls from Abuja instructing them to be released.

After the incessant visits, I had to increase my security detail from the previous 2 to a reasonable number. The security reported to me that 2 Fulanis on motorcycles were stationed at my front gate during day time hours in the bush on the other side of the A1 Road by main gate. One day, I took a hearing protection and a heavy caliber Elephant Rifle with a Muzzle Break to my front gate area and released a thunderous shot onto the ears of the stunned Fulani spies. They scampered into the bush and returned to hop on their motorcycles and rode off. I ordered the top of my gates to be sealed off with steel sheets and my bullet proof landcrete brick fence be increased in height from 9ft to 11ft from its previous 7ft to 8ft. They now started tormenting my neighbors. After an assault and arson in 2017-18 on our 30+ acre rice planting neighborhood consortium, I stopped planting rice. If you wonder how the price of rice went from N7,500 to N35,000 per bag, I just gave you the answer.

After the assault in which one of my rice planting neighbors was almost decapitated, I had to intervene; after treating him and have one of the assailants arrested. It was a good thing I stayed in the DPO’s office, while he was being processed. Within 30 minutes, a Fulani man appeared; carrying himself with confidence and an air of arrogance and authority arrived. His blue Guinea brocade Agbada / Babariga was well starched and ironed. I was told that that was the local Seriki Fulani. The way he ignored my presence as he interacted with an air of condescension with the DPO made me conclude that he was incharge of the Fulani’s who were infiltrated by foreign Bororo’s with AK-47’s. The DPO returned and tried to plead with me, but I stuck to my guns and insisted that the apprehended Assailant be denied bail and charged to Court.

As I left the premises the Seriki Fulani was under a Fever tree shade on the telephone but he eyed me menacingly. I knew I had to increase my security and reduce my visibility. The assailant was charged and jailed for just 6 years.

I have been lucky but at a price. Security personnel licensing and procurement of defensive firearms cost me just south of N200,000:00 monthly in salaries alone – expensive but I sleep well at night. But how about other farmers that cannot afford security or are not armed? They can no longer farm. I have an associate who lost 250 acres of maize at his mechanized farm in Oyo State. His tractors are lying idle while his staff are unemployed.

Animal feed has gone up 250% because of the Fulanis Unemployment, petty theft, crimes like home burglary have become common place because of the farms closing down. The Bokolo Fulani armed robbers have taken over. The insecurity coupled with kidnapping have fueled a vicious cycle of food insecurity, personal insecurity, cconomic deprivation and depression in SW Nigeria.

That is the real reason why the 30 million strong Agrarian community in SW Nigeria are fully behind Sunday Igboho. If the Government wants to test their resolve, they have nothing to loose and are dying, so they will run no more.

It is a situation this government has allowed to fester. After the #endsars imbroglio, the farmers went back to their native instincts. As to how ready they are to secure their freedom? That is the question that I will advise the Government and the security agencies including the Military to be careful about.

There is a saying in the African American community. “ Nigger Charlie will Run no more“. The SW Nigerian Farmers will run no more.

Sunday Igboho is the least of who they have to worry about. There are 10’s of 1000’s of Sunday Igboho’s in SW Nigeria and they are backed by 10’s of millions of Nigerians from every single part of Nigeria who see the maintenance of public safety in SW Nigeria as their last hope for peace, security, progress and unity. If the Government listens
to the hawks, and make a wrong move, the retaliation by the citizenry will become a story that will be told forever. As a Farmer said “They are not Sowore that Government can just come and arrest at night and throw in jail”.

These people live by the feud. They have a feud with Fulani brigands and it has to be settled in the way the farmers understand.

I loved how that doctor man took warning pot shots at the yellow bellied coward Fulanis.

I wonder if this is the same Seriki that Chief Sunday Adeyemo aka Igboho, the Yoruba warrior cum freedom fighter confronted

Hello sonofjos, thank you for sharing.

People like us who were born and raised here notice a marked difference in the tempo of activities in other areas of the country. I was in Ondo for a year and I almost ran mad there because life in that state is so... sleepy. Everyone was just moving like geriatric patients, unlike Lagos here where if you are too slow, you will be shoved aside. Last last when it was time to leave, I packed my travelling bags and two mighty Ghana-must-go bags and fled the place by 6am.

Lagos is a melting pot of different ethnic groups with different characters, both saintly and shady, so overtime it developed a character unique to it. We talk angrily a lot of the times because there is someone somewhere always trying to provoke you, cheat you, or steal from you so we are always on guard and on the defensive. Someone tried to pick my bag last year but the kind of eye I gave him must have turned his ancestors in their graves.

Add the congested roads and the traffic and you cannot be calm even if you try to. You will be angry for no reason. Yoruba people call it 'kan ra'. Pepper body. That is why danfo drivers behave like animals because one cannot sit inside hold up day in day out, inhaling noxious exhaust fumes, avoiding police, LASTMA, NURTW agbero, taskforce, police, VIO, those new ones wearing green uniform (I don't know these ones. There are so many uniforms in Lagos) and still be completely sane.

Conductors and passengers fighting is a normal thing. One day I was returning from work and saw two fighting in the middle of the road, and what amazed me was they were sparring like professional boxers, complete with the boxer's stance and leg work. iKid you not. Conductor and passenger. It was the agberos, funny enough, who came to chase them from the road because they were constituting nuisance to other road users. The kid you described did not have any super powers. He was just acting like the typical Lagosian who has been conditioned to act out in the face of provocation. Eat or be eaten. Some of these conductors are very rude and nasty (I suspect it is their own defence mechanism) while some passengers on the other hand are idiots.

The trader in Computer Village was not 'threatening' you. They are simply aggressive marketers. If you don't aggressively market your products you won't make any sales because there a 1001 traders selling the same thing as you. The secret to walking successfully through the Village is rearranging your face to look like granite, avoiding eye contact with anyone and stubbornly ignoring 'threatening'' calls. They cannot hijack you from the road into their shop, abi? Develop military mind! cheesy

The same military mind my friend Sanchez01 took to Enugu when he went on a visit. He wanted to board a bus and used ishon (muscle) to run pell mell to where the bus was parked waiting for him. When he jumped in with the skill of a James Bond stuntsman, he met the driver and passengers staring at him strangely.

The driver asked him: "Oga, are you from Lagos?", to which he replied in the affirmative. The driver then remarked "No wonder. It is only Lagos people that behave like they are fighting with everyone."

"Eko akete, ilu ọgbọn" loosely translated means:
"Lagos, bless it, is a wisdom teaching city, not a city for slackers, shirkers, loafers, idlers, layabouts, lazybones, weaklings et cetera"

Religion / Re: 3 Lessons To Learn From Mary And Martha by MuttleyLaff: 2:19pm On Jan 24, 2021
JourneytoEL:
A man came visiting a family with two sisters. One of the sisters, Martha, was busy in the kitchen, preparing meals and cleaning while the other one, Mary, was "idling" away at his feet, gisting with him. Based on world standards, Martha, was right. She is an epitome of a responsible woman. 100yards wife material. Most likely a first daughter, but in the eyes of the Heaven, she was wrong. While, her sister, who the world would declare as lazy and irresponsible was right in the eyes of Heaven. The standard of judgement of the world is most times contrary to the standard of judgement of Heaven. What men judge as right might be wrong in heaven. And, those who the earth see as wrong maybe right in the eyes of God.

3 lessons to learn.

1. Never judge anyone in his walk with God.
Your standards and those of God aren't the same. Do not judge that you won't be judged (Luke 6:37a). Stop calling people sister mary, holy holy, you don't know if their dressing patterns were strictly designed for them from God. Stop calling people prostitutes because of the way they dress to church you don't know God's plan for their lives. In Jer 17:10, the Lord said, I , the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.

2. The busy bee may be the farthest from God.
Nothing beats personal intimacy with God. Many people believe been a good Christian is about taking up positions in church. They are chapter presidents, unit leaders, lead singers etc. While it is good and profitable to work for God, it shouldn't take the place of fellowship with him. Avoid any position that will keep you too busy to personally commune with him through prayers. If you are been led to work for God and it's your day, choose a time of the night to meet him in prayers. It could be midnight, 3 a.m, 5a.m etc. The same way God desired to interact with Adam (Gen 3:8 ) is still how he longs to commune with Christians today. Don't say no to him because you are too busy (naked) (Gen 3:10).

3. Always seek the counsel of the Holy Spirit
Yes, you heard you have been called to God. The next thing for you is to enrol in a Bible school based and buy shiny suits based on the world's standard, but the Holy Spirit might be telling you to pray at midnight, fast 3 times a week and sweep the church every saturday. Whatever, you do as a Christian, always seek the counsel of the Holy Spirit and obey him. It isn't about what you think and feel is right, it is about what the Spirit of God says is right. As Apostle Paul puts it beautifully in his letter to the Romans in Rom 8:14, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Been a son of God, is not based on your strength but rather on your willingness to be led by the Spirit of God.
Always remember to commune with the Holy Spirit in all matters as Apostle Paul will say in 2 Cor 13:14, The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the Communion ( fellowship, intimacy, koinonia, sharing together) in the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. The Holy Spirit is here to teach us the post-ascension believers and we can always trust him to bring us to all truth. For it is written, However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.( John 16:13). Nothing beats having a personal relationship with God, like Mary, it is one thing no one can take away from you (Luke 10:42b). Praise God.

Did you learn anything feom this scripture, please share with us.

Myer:
An interesting narrative.
About seeking the counsel of the Holyspirit. Your passage never told us Mary sought the counsel of Jesus or the Holyspirit.

Myer:
I don't get your meaning. Speak in plain words.
"38As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him.
39She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said.
40But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
41“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things,
42but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.

- Luke 10:38-42

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,
He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you
"
- John 14:26

"But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth].
For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son],
and He will disclose to you what is to come [in the future]
."
- John 16:13

Seeking the counsel of Jesus is evident in Luke 10:39 & 42 (i.e. ... indeed ... Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her) while seeking the counsel of Holy Spirit is a John 14:26 and/or John 16:13 follow up revelation
