Arcasie: when I was very little I loved the smell of kerosine so much. Oneday my parents left me alone with my gradmom. while she was busy doing her own thing I found myself in the kitchen with half a bottle of kerosine and I remember I drunk all of it. cant remember exactly how or when my grandmom found me but i recall she cried and prayed aloud and quickly rushed to give me lots of palm oil to drink and thanks to her im alive today. I know it sounds crazy but I still love the smell of kerosine, cant explain.

*Hums* “Sometimes I shave my legs sometimes I don’t’. That’s cool and all but I’m going to need you to shave under your arms and the other place (you know where.) I am not scared of using the P word but this is a family friendly website- and I’m sure you get the gist. We may be bush men here in Nigeria, but please give yourself an edge up by keeping it like a well-manicured lawn rather than like a jungle safari in the middle of Niger Delta!

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do People Hold On To Grudge(s)? by Mutuwa(m): 4:59pm On Sep 08, 2014
Kachisbarbie: I used to hold grudges a lot as a teenager...and the reasons where
- Pride: I don't like to apologise first. Makes me feel less...

-Unforgiving spirit: I had to do prayer and fasting to change this, I don't forgive easily then, even when I forgive - I won't forget...so I will keep reminding the person of his/her f**k up @ the slightest provocation.

-Revenge: I love revenge grin. Do Me-I do you...for this reason, I find it difficult to apologise and forgive, bc I would wanna hold the grudge, it would enable me carry out my revenge perfectly tongue

I lost relationships and friends, though they all stuck
around, after they understood it was ma person...
One day my elder bro bought me a book on anger management and co, I read it...prayed and it changed a lot.

chux76: You took the words right out of my mind. The Northerners are a peaceful people to live with, friendly ambiance and all that, but stoke them up with RELIGION and all that serenity is gone. I have lived in the North for just 4 years and I can attest to this that their 'leaders' prey on their illiteracy and incite them into violence, otherwise an average Northerner is mainly concerned with his petty business and does not want chaos. I have many Muslim friends whom while we were discussing would specifically mention names of highly placed people they KNOW where masterminds of most crisis here in Kaduna especially and how these people despise non-Muslims and in most cases Muslims of different inclination, and would cajole their Imams to incite their followers. But fortunately most of the peasants are beginning to see past their noses and less willing to go on creating another crisis, they'd rather have peace and go about their normal business.
Boko Haram will be a thing of the past very very soon that I am sure of.
My guy.Thank God u lived a bit in the north..our people like i said collectively will deny all this facts,y coz they dread the truth.

Liability: warning: this is a true life story about me. It is also a bit long. Bear with me and read it till the end.

4 years ago was like a dream. But that dream was shattered by me as a result of my actions. To some extent i blamed mySelf so much i could still cry and shed hot tears. But on the other hand i was quite honest to him.

Still basking in the excitement and euphoria of my 18th birthday, i was still love drunk with my first ''official'' boyfriend. The one i could freely hug and kiss and dream about all day and all nite. It was pure ecstasy.

But a young man came my way, i proved beyond reasonable doubt that he was truely in love with me. We live in two different cities, but this angel in the skin of a man was ready to risk everything for me. He called me almost everyday, sent me recharge card without my asking him, somethings he gave me pocket money for my upkeep.

I saw the sincerity in his eyes but i was feeling guilty inside of me. ''I must let him know what is at stake here''.

The d-day finally came, we were strolling he made mention of his love for me. After he had had his chance, i told him that i had someone i love even though am beginning to like him.

He persistent and saw everything as a challenge. I did all i could to avoid him. A day came, when he saw me with the man i loved. He couldnt stand it any longer. He stopped calling me, no text messages from him. My birthday came, he didnt message me at all. I was too scared to call him. I knew he was heartbroken but i never expected him to leave me this way.

Till date, i have not seen him. I wish to see him once again to apologise to him. He no longer use the number he gave me.

I wish...........hmmmmmmm......sigh heavily.

Kenneth wherever you are please forgivel

I had to rush where he was a gave him a dirty slap. ''useless man!''

sexfiend: well, i'm a nigerian based in Germany ,but within the last year, i've been spending more time doing business around Nigeria ,mainly Lagos and Abuja.
in terms of social life ,i've been highly disappointed about a couple of things I observe: 1.) 70 percent of all the girls i've been with have a bad body odour. 2.) 95 percent of Nigerian girls do not shave .even worst ,80 percent of them seem to have hairy chest and hair on their chin (I Guess they've never heard about waxing). Sobs....
Its like u chaw to much to hv known that abundant no of girls are defiant of hygine.Well mayb they are too busy trying to keep the outside too good, while d inside is ewwwww!
Romance › Re: 20 Lessons Of Life by Mutuwa(m): 2:04pm On Sep 07, 2014
wikiman: 1. People are "selfish" everyone will naturally think of them selves before others...
2. Always keep your plans a secret and only discuss it with people who are more "successful " than u are.
3. Never make close friends with people who have low self esteem in a bid to wanna " help" them cos they can "destroy" you.
4. Guys never expect a woman to love YOU more than her MOTHER.
5. You can't change anyone...attempting to change people will change you.
6. Never do business without a written agreement even if its with your father or mother.
7. Girls never ignore true love when you get it.
8. Guys beware of the Envy of friends.
9. Always keep a soft copy of receipts.
10. Don't ever expect people to be fair when money is involved...if they are fine , but don't expect or demand it.
11. Avoid unhealthy competition
12. Truth will get u into trouble but will never allow u stay in it.
13. Don't try to achieve something by all means...when u force something to work some other things that were working may stop working.
14. Guys and ladies..God does not choose our life partners...WE DO
15. Don't ever date married people.
16. Spend 30 min of everyday exercising your body.
17. Avoid giving unsolicited Advises.
18. It is better to work for someone and pay your bills than to be idle n unproductive in the name of being self employed.
19. Make realistic plans ,n don't be distracted by people who make big plans.
20. Love people this is the Right way to love the Lord your God
I repeat: " Life itself and being alive is the greatest lesson.Life is the greatest exams that anybody will ever write. Most people fail while trying to copy others not knowing that everyone has a different question paper entirely."

oneeast: People down south do not know that Nigeria is presently at war. You need to go to the north to better appreciate that the event of 1966 is repeating itself again.

By the time our military are through, the north would have lost over 10 million in human resources and be set back another 100years economically.

The worst part of it, is that the north brought this on themselves. GEJ was quite slow to action thinking that the north will change their evil ways but they kept at it. Now that GEJ has declared a full war on them let nobody, not the Islamic APC and its supporters cry wolf!

It is really pathetic here in the north to say the least!
Guy..I appreciate your observation. The problem of Naija is the north itself.Quote me anywhere.am a typical northerner .i can educate u as well as all and sundry how the north used to be back then, coz i saw its last years of glee, peace and sweet togetherness up and till our people turned to Monsters.A typical northern person is nice, friendly and tolerant, but collectively there are differences even admist us.This include attitudes like dominance, aggressiveness, power loving etc.
Get this no tribe in naija is perfect,EVERY one has its ills..but it becomes meaningless when on the inside we dont cater for one another, psychologically enslave one another, oppress, harass and do so many degrading things to ourselves and REPEAT same on the outside for all to notice.
Well..I wish the troops luck,I know they will triumph in shaa Allahu, because the almighty is always on the side of the just ones.
