@OP, comon go and eat jor, use the internet for the information you need about what happens when a person starves; you wil get accurate researched information there from people that studied things like that. Besides you cannot carry out an experiment on yourself and expect that the results you get from it is the same results you will get for everybody else; people react differently under different conditions so while you might be able to go for three days without food, another person will be able to go for seven or more.
Therefore, use statistical findings to know the result of your experiment since they average such things and don't use individual findings.
Unles you just like getting attention from anonymous people so if thats the case, please coninue your punishment.

@poster, i really appreciate the fact dat u are using urself as the guinea pig,
evryday i do think about poor people in the  part of the world,
in some arab region and most Africa countries,
how dey survive even without food and high rate of poverty.
i sure GOD will save us

i ave survived few days witout food, due to quick intervention i survived it,

i want us to know dat fasting is different from dis,
wen u are fasting u have d food but  only denyin urself because u are looking for sometn from GOD ,
but dis people in poverty have notin to eat, imagine urself in dat condition lyk d poster, we really need GOD'S intervention

@poster u are doin great, nairalanders will surely give u an award for dis,

@Op I envy you, wish I could go just a single day without food; I'll be so happy with myself.

obowunmi:

OP: I would love to read your conclusion on this poverty case study that you are working on.

Do you know how many children go to school hungry ? and when they get to school, the teacher will beat them for no reason, or a silly senior will punish them
Mos' def'. Today, i'll be walking to an "imaginary" school. Just 20 blocks round my estate and back. I hope I can make it

omi247:

@ OP

Please be careful with what you are doing, I'm glad that you have people who are checking up on you who are close by and your mum is a medic, but there are still risks. I hope you guys have a back up plan for your eventual feeding (i.e liquidised or intravenous) because in the worst case scenario if you leave it too late you could be too weak/unable to even physically eat when you decide to you've had enough of your experiment.

Another important consideration: try not to overcompensate your hunger by drinking too much water as too much water consumption can also be fatal.

They say that the human body can go on average a maximum of 3 weeks without any food and only about 3 days without any water, but personally I have only ever tried to go about 2-3 days without food, as I love food too much and I am fortunate enough to not be without smiley. Good luck in your endeavours!
Thanks

I give you three days to give up this fast; after hunger don waya you you go begin dey find excuse to go chop food. ("after all I don't need to use myself as guinea pig, can I not google the result on internet instead of doing this fast?"winkgrin grin grin
Anyway Op, drink a lot of water to eliminate headaches. You might not feel like drinking water but you have to.
I don't really subscribe to this water fast sha, I think you should see your doctorbefore doing things like this so as to know if you are in the right condition to carry out a water fast.

Phones / Re: Court Orders Airtel Nigeria To Reverse Name To Econet Wireless by mxxpunkxx: 1:02pm On Jan 31, 2012
Koolking:

Of course Airtel will appeal this judgement. The unstability of Airtel as a company discourages reasonable investment from potential investors. Did I miss something? 5% shares enough to reverse Airtel to Econet? What happens to the 95% shares of other shareholders? This is ludicrous. Is it not expedient for the court to ask Airtel to Pay Econet the 5% shares (with a percentage interest)? To me this judgement can not stand. It is quite obvious Airtel shall win the the appeal

the percentile figure doesn't count . . its d highest percentage that counts . . .it could even be 3% . . so long as the remaining 97% is split among several share-holders and none of them comes close to 3%, then the holder of the 3% has more rights to the company when it comes to decision-making, u get ma drift?

Newacca, my facebook id will be sent to you with the number you shall use to call me.

Man, I don't understand the whole school fees figures. They seem so high.

I see somewhere around $8k-$12k as tution fee for schools in Canada. Are we expected to pay all this money at once?
Kindly explain this step by step. My choice is as a PGD student and maybe am mistakem something. It's my first time with something like this and I hardly know anything here.

Do they provide financial aid and how does it work?
See this man ohhh , .u wanna school in Canada . . well expect to pay nothing less than $12k per annum (that should cover school fees + accommodation). However, this is just an estimate. The school i wanna apply to is $15k per annum for the total package . .
Stop looking at the figures, or u might lose hope. Just focus on achieving and the money would just come from nowhere. Believe me.

Why won't he be caught? No matter how professional u are, whenever greed starts to set it, it leads to disaster. I will ask u just 2 ques
1. If the hacker had just DDOSed their websites and maybe defaced them (hindering them from publishing the worldcup live matches) - do u think he would have being caught? Hell Noooooooooooooo
2. The report said he was blackmailing them . . perhaps threating to shut down their site in exchange for money. Now that;s a hungry hacker. A malicious hacker is not after your money, he's after your destruction/downfall. Considering the fact that almost $4million dollars was paid, how was the money recieved? Over the air? Wasn't it paid into a bank account? Which of course are traceable . . So that is how he was caught. Not because the ethical hacker did a good job, ethical my foot, but because he implicated himself with such ridiculous "ransom" fee.

Please get ur facts right before posting.

@mxxxpunkx and slyOX
u guys are right, but what I actually meant was:

An ethical hacker is a computer and network expert who attacks a security system on behalf of its owners, seeking vulnerabilities that a malicious hacker could exploit. To test a security system, ethical hackers use the same methods as their less principled counterparts, but report problems instead of taking advantage of them

the "certified" hackers at naijacyberhactivist has only took advantage of the loopholes, I am very sure there will be among them those that have acquired the CEHv7 (certified ethical hacker v7),

are u saying am less-principled than Slyr0x (cos he's ethical n' am malicious)?
Always remember:
- all malicious hackers can work as ethical hackers; but not all ethical hackers are malicious
- what an ethical hacker can do; a malicious hacker go do better (u dont wanna go down there)
