Xtopher123: Got it from slot..
Read online about the issue..
It's a hardware issue with most Nokia 7 Plus device and Nokia has acknowledged that I hope your device hasn't been with you for more than 5days , take it back to slot ASAP or else they won't accept it any longer. Had a terrible experience with them |

donbenie: Xiaomi Redmi Note 5Ai is Chinese version /Global Version, the one you can get on Aliexpress.. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is the Indian version which came out before the Chinese (Ai) Version. Then we have the Indian Redmi Note 5 which is the same as the Chinese Redmi 5 Plus.. The difference between the Indian Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro is that the former has only one back camera.. bros all you wrote I already know , he mentioned Snapdragon 625 , which is on the redmi 5 plus (otherwise known as note 5 in India, but it's the Chinese nomenclature we follow here) , check the ads of all the touts The main question now is , where is the phone being purchased from? China or India ? |

I think your actual internet speed is the one right on your status bar; 1.19mbps. Bros there is difference between MB and Mb You'll have to divide one by 8 to get the other, megabyte and megabits |

macbeyland: That will require more storage space for both OS, also meaning less storage space. It might also complicate android memory orientation. I'm imagining something like after choosing your preferred UI , it downloads that one , then maybe if you are to do a factory reset there's an option to wipe the current UI. This way there's only one UI at any given time |

spartacus11: Stock Android is not a match to MIUI, if you've truly used both we can agree that Stock Android is simply BASIC why MIUI add alot of ADD-ON'S if you're on MIUI you're missing nothing from not using Stock Android, rather you have majority, if not all, of the features of Stock, in addition to the extra features MIUI comes with.
To fully enjoy MIUI and use it to his full capacity you actually need to be Tech savy.
I've come to love Stock Android bcus of been just Basic I'm actually not that type who tweak and tweak, for me Stock is very much ok, but I'm surely missing some good features on MIUI.
One of the biggest app I've missed and will do anything to have on this Stock is the MIUI GALLERY APP Google photos is totally crap, I'm getting used to the Google File APP, But i will take MIUI FILE APP over this any day and anytime.
They is no basis to compare MIUI and Stock, there are on a different class entirely.
The irony is dat, I've actually choose Stock over MIUI not because it is better but because i can go through all the settings and feature in less than a minute, been BASIC does it for me.
So my preference for a device is now as follows
1- STOCK ANDROID OS
2- GLASS BODY DEVICE
3- USB TYPE C PORT
That means i need to start looking at the MI A series, i hope Xiaomi give us one with a Glass body just like what they have done for the Note series. maybe someday phone manufacturers would allow people choose between their UI and STOCK on initial phone bootup. Dreams |

spartacus11: They are things to love about Xiaomi, and if u have used any of their Mid range device it kind of increase d standard u set wen u are looking for a replacement, and you will come to find out dat you're even paying less for a spect other brands are charging high
Less with More
That's why if you've been a user it is hard to quit, bcus u will have to pay more for same spec Xiaomi is offering for less.
After using a USB Type C on max 2, i simply can't use any device personally without a TYPC port, dat is standard for me now
Dat was d reason i even choose d X5 over Samsung wen i needed a quick replacement for my max 2 (broken screen)
With d nokia, i experience d sweetness of glass body and now Xiaomi produced Note 7 with USB TYPE C and glass body, u see if d price drop i may be ready to buy. Despite dat I'm a max fan
Xiaomi most times gets u covered, people may change brand not bcus Xiaomi is not good, not bcus Xiaomi is not offering same performance but simply bcus dey just need a change.
Dats y u see some who knows how to flash, just flash their device to a different UI, it is human nature.
Lets see how d Note 7 and Pro will go. will check d review out spartacus11 na u carry Samuel Peter's enter here. He won't see all these you've said oo, once you just talk negative thing , he antenna don pick am. Baba enjoy your devices. Hope you're having a wonderful day |

sureteeboy: I wonder why you guys keep quoting that Charles guy. I doubt he's ever handled a Xiaomi phone all his life (Or perhaps, a Redmi 4A). He's just surfing the web all day looking for negative reviews against Xiaomi to raise an irrelevant issue from. Seems Xiaomi keeps giving him sleepless nights. I was expecting better , with all the arguments/ debate that goes on here we all agree on one thing which is that xiaomi is a great company , they cater for almost every level. MIUI is there , stock is there , which ever you prefer, then there's also support for the ones that want to turn their phone into spaceship. We should learn to appreciate and applaud something or someone that is great abeg. I rest my case |

mikeycharles: Still looking for it to quote but I have a screenshot haba !!! Spartacus11 was praising the Nokia battery , while henry007 was comparing the chipsets and not the brand. They didn't compare the Nokia and xiaomi in that screenshot.. They're not the only phones using them |

Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Mykcool(m): 9:31am On Jan 26, 2019 |
mikeycharles: First of all, then the comparison should have been between MIUI and stock Android not Miui Vs Nokia (being mentioned) cause this all started when someone compared his efficient Nokia X5 3000mah battery to Xiaomi's 4000mah. And secondly I... who compared xiaomi and nokia? Maybe I skipped it . But from what you just said its still software in a way because I know I saw someone showing his SOT on a different ROM from MIUI, which means it had lesser drain on the battery. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Mykcool(m): 9:14am On Jan 26, 2019 |
mikeycharles: They did must have missed the memo arguments have mainly been about software and not even the hardware. It has all been MIUI VS STOCK etc and not whether the phone is solid or not |
