Ok now ! For those hating on my humble sef simply coz I called Xiaomi mid-range brand . Let's put this our sentiments aside, would you call it Premium ? Ogini, kilode ? Talk true for just once in your life time Biko. I am on this page simply coz I wanna change my device as I usually does yearly, but when I kept reading Gcam up and down , shey na crime to ask why ? I am a tech specialist, but I strictly frown against tweaking device, imo: that's the only way I get to know a device is cool , yes indulge me to use the word Premium! My current device is still in Mint state , with this customer bruhaha and Gcam and bla bla I dey read . I had to conclude that I am holding on for now.

That's my Opinion!

I just asked for your understanding, I wasn't trying to mock you in anyway, if you notice here people give their own personal opinion and not just hang on to what one reviewer say and it is usually based on their personal experience.
You can as well compare the most expensive Xiaomi devices with the most expensive "premium brands"

I asked for your own definition bros, not the net, I just want to know your own understanding so that I can understand your point of view better. Personally I judge a product from my experience of it. All these tech reviewers have their own level of bias.

point of note : I use a Samsung , I've someone using xiaomi and the device is awesome. So don't mistake me for a xiaomi fanboy. What's your definition of a premium device please? Because it seems if it's not Samsung or iPhone it's not premium to you

Yes I did. It was the same issue. I almost gave up on xiaomi after it. I bought a gionee m7 and I was convinced leaving xiaomi was a mistake..

please ehn, just check online for the top benchmarked devices. Then come back and tell me if xiaomi is still a midrange brand. Hope you realise that they have a whole lot of other products. Just because their products are cheap compared to others doesn't mean they're not quality. Does a product have to be expensive before it is classified as toprange

I held my money back cos i knew it was scam from the on set.
He even sent me his account details to pay into since i've gotten the data. But i insisted the data should work first before i send him money.

I've also gotten data from him some weeks back, it worked wonderfully well. Even though it took some time for the data to reflect , at the end it worked.

When I say better, I mean all feature combined, A phone is not better because of Processor Alone

OK, but performance matters a lot. Could you please point out the areas you feel s7 is better. Same way you're illustrating using a car , that's same way All these phones perform same functions. How many people use Wireless charging regularly , or the nfc stuff here in Nigeria.
Battery, screen , performance wise the poco f1 is great, even continuous support for a long period of time.

My phone is perfectly working fine, You guys made me understand today that by next year my phone will begin to slow down, Cos it's Snapdragon 660 and I should upgrade to 855 or newer by this time next year 660 will be obsolete just like SD820..

ahan bros, is that all you got from the argument. I believe you're getting it wrong, if you've been following this thread for a while you'll see people talking about their older xiaomi devices and still praising it's performance. No one is saying your device is obsolete, you were the one saying the poco f1 is crap and no match for an older Samsung s7

wait, what's wrong with plastic? But there's a kevlar variant. Do you use a case on your phone? For me it's performance. Poco f1 is just a first, let's wait and see what they'll come up with after this, hopefully they'll listen to the yearnings of their fans .

what's wrong with that ? Is it not what people are clamouring for, better processors. Not everyone likes the glass back on phones, I prefer metal or plastic. Are there not xiaomi phones with amoled? Please check benchmarks and see if you wouldn't find xiaomi devices among the best. Please how many iPhone models even has amoled on it. By the way I use a Samsung before you'll come and say I've not used amoled before and I bought it brand new, every phone I've ever used actually. If screen is your issue compare the amoled models of xiaomi with the amoled models of Samsung, by the way hope you heard Samsung is hopping on the ips screen you're complaining about.
