President Conde is a Fulani and he is pushing for constitutional amendment in Guinea to enable him go for a 3rd tenure. Is anybody seeing something in his visit to PMB?
Conde is not Fulani.
Fulani are the majority but other ethnic groups in guinea have ganged up to sideline them due to the excesses after independence

Why do you people never do reality? Even if not the outcome you want, why can you and your kinsmen not be adult about the current reality that holds sway on ground in Nigeria today? SS, through GEJ, had 5 or so years before Buhari so who will back them for potential 8 years, making 13, in a 24 years cycle i.e 2007 to 2031? It makes sense to you to have SS (GEJ) North (Buhari) and then SS immediately afterwards ba?

As for Igbos, of course you qualify. Yet, are you not honest enough to admit that the antics of your ethnic group leaves all others, including even your staunchest allies in the SS, unwilling to trust you with power let alone the North that will not entertain any threat to one Nigeria they feel their survival depends on? Keep fooling yourself. Igbo men are never born with a single pragmatic bone in their body. Just emotions and sentiments 24/7.
The presidency is coming to the south and the south-west is well positioned within the Apc to clinch the ticket, the Yorubas have the structure to win the primary and will mount a serious challenge to win it.

The Igbos have been going around calling us all sort of names because their God Jonathan lost an election. throughout the history of the nation, they have always been going with the north ( is understandable) and we never called them any name, we always play the opposition.

The Yoruba will always fight for their interest, access the situation and find a best way to navigate the situation.

This is interesting, if there will be zoning then it has to go south east or south south, if south west getting it then it is no longer zoning but power allocation.

If it based on vote contributions and not zoning then let north central have it or edo state, because they have contributed so much to APC
Zoning should be between the north and the south since the north has three geopolitical zones while the south also has three.

When it comes to the south, whomever that is interested can vie for the presidency, nobody will give you on a plate.

I think I am with you on this.

We also need to start investing back home instead of staying in big cities without investing back home.

I am a registered engineer and I have worked and been to so many states in the east, southwest is more organized, with better infrastructure in most localities than the east but the Igbos build more home at home given the illusion than the east is more developed but the reality is quite a contrary.

We Yorubas need to come back home more, stop these senseless superstitions believe that some village people are after us. If we can invest more in our locality, come back home more, our areas will be much better for it.

Not much has changed, Nigeria is still a business venture. The share holders are still the British and the board of directors are the Northerners
This is very far from the truth, Nigeria is a country of its own, trading with countries she chooses to trade with. Our largest trading partner is the Chinese, Indians and Americans.

Our system of government is modelled over that of America. The British Empire is long gone, they have close to zero influence on how Nigeria is been governed.

The northerners are not the board of directors, don't let your hatred of others killed you. The economy of Nigeria is run by southerners, the organised public sector is dominated by southerners, there are 36 states across the federation and each of these states reflect the ethnic demography of Nigeria, each of these states have governors democratically elected by the people of these states.

There are southern and northern politicians. Since the return to democracy in 1999, we have had 2 southern presidents and 2 northern presidents, tell me how the northerners are the board of directors

U have seen how they forced their region to become a shariah region even tho christians live in it too...

U have seen the rough politics they have played from awolowo's disgrace to abiola family disgrace to killing of corpers in 2011 to varios riots because of politics

U have seen how they formed boko haram and are arming fulani miltias now.

Should we continue with the north to maintain the diversity that has kept the nation down?
Stop rewriting history, we are all not comfortable with the security problem and all the myriad of the problem affecting the north today but the truth still remains that the Biafra war was caused mainly by Igbo political elites that want to dominate the Nigeria state.

The military coupe of 1966, was an Igbo coupe that effect leaders from other ethnic groups, the aftermath of the coupe show the real intention of the Igbos, from the unitary government of ironsi to the marginalisation of other ethnic groups.

The north never disgrace awolowo, Nigerians play politics of sentiment, people vote base on either religion ( north) or tribe (south), Igbos are also as guilty as northerners in denying awolowo the presidency.

Bokoharam and Fulani herdsmen are as a result of the failure of government, deep extreme religious intolerance in the north, poverty and illiteracy. It wasn't directly created by the north to keep Nigeria backward.

The igbos, yorubas and the Hausas are all guilty in making Nigeria what it is today, stop blaming the northerners alone

Miyettiallah has been repeating that colonial government gave them graxing land, mapped it and gazzetted it.

Yes this is true, and all the lands are in Northern Nigeria. None in South.

Ive been the only one countering this point. It is very important because it is the legal document that will, above anything else, transfer land to fulani.

Our laxity in counter-messaging contributed to many of the rights and privileges they now claim as entitlements. Things that never belonged to them they have claimed it because when they were throwing it out no one bothered to counter it...so it became the truth.

The grazing route had its Southern limits in Niger State, into Benue and across to Adamawa and back up North. Oyinbo did not map any grazing route below this belt.
I was having this debate with one of my supposed educated fulani friend this evening. He quickly raised the issue of cattle grazing route, he said and I quote " there was cattle route put in place by the colonial masters to allow the movement of herdsmen to move from the north to the south and all across west Africa during dry season but due to population explosion, most of the route has been taking over by farmers ". I quickly pick out flaws in his arguement.

To begin with, cattle route were not created by colonial master, what we have in place was an unofficial route ply by herdsmen during dry season from far north and southern Niger republic to northern Guinea savanna in places like southern Kaduna, Niger, taraba, adamawa and northern Cameroon. Later, the northern colonial government now made all these route to official hence all the cattle route are in Northern Nigeria.

Secondly, most of the communities where these routes passes especially those in middle belt, were not made aware of these routes, compensation were not paid to the indigenous people in these area, hence no legal backing to the route

Accepted, no ruga settlement in your village, was anybody forcing it down your throat before? What we have problem with is you southerners trying to deny fellow citizens their constitutional right of freedom of movement and freedom to settle anywhere they want. And your elders threatening to form militias to attack them, and labelling them guilty of all manner of crime even without evidence, just because they are fulani while no one denied you those same rights you are trying to deny others. Thats why we are telling u that the fulani are very capable of defending themselves. Btw, since no ruga, then they continue herding as they are used to, in the bushes and forests of this great country.
There is a different between freedom of movement and freedom to constitute nuisance, freedom to freely kidnapped and raped host communities, freedom to openly break the law of the land and act as if one is above the law. We the yoruba of south west and north central will not allow fulani to continue to behave in this manner

As an hypocrite that you are, why not ask yourself if hausas, nupes, kanuris, gwari and thousands of other northern ethnic groups are not living and doing business in the south. The problem is not movement of people but movement of a dangerous terrorist group that need to be cut down as soon as possible. The forming of ethnic militias is important because we have lost confidence in this nepostic regime of Buhari

Does fulani criminal equates to all the hausas, nupe, kanuris that live in the south ?
In this modern time, people don't move around with cows that end up destroying farms, people don't set up camps in different forest to kidnap and rape people without consequences. Fulani herdsmen are terrorists and must be treated like one.

If all yorubas are chased out of the north, we will equally chased out all the hausas and other core northern group, we will stop all those truck that transport petroleum and manufacturing commodities to the north, also, be ready for total disintegration of the Nigeria state and be ready to loose all the free crude oil money in the process.

Ordinary Electricity!
Electricity is not just ordinary, this is what most of you fail to understand. Electricity involves generation, transmission and distribution whic requires heavy investment.

For us to have uninterrupted electricity in Nigeria, we need to completely privatize the power sector, for us to attract the type of investment required we need to review our tariff which is one of the lowest in the world.

While in the Village, I asked a family Friend who's also a Babalawo a question regarding the reason why Babalawos and their families don't do this money rituals, "isoye" (juju for being brilliant) and they live in penury. His response scared me:
"Every juju has repercussions. It's like a trade-by-barter kind of deal. You trade the devil's riches and blessing with your soul. The intended wealth of the people you sacrificed will be compressed and given to you at a reduced timing. Let's say you are supposed to live 70yrs and make it from age 30. All d wealth may be compressed into 10-15yrs. Even in the course of spending the money, you will be haunted till you die. Besides, Babalawos do collect whatever they want to collect for the "service" before the rituals and they watch off their hands shortly after as a sign of not being part of the act.
Secondly, it's juju for being brilliant and outstanding in life. You will get those and die a youth. It may be a day to your graduation, finishing youth corps or a day to your wedding.
No Babalawo wants these for himself nor their wards. That's why they don't do it. And it's foolishness doing it too.
