Christianity EtcRe: Where Did The Word “GOD” Originate? by myproperty(m): 1:38pm On Feb 24, 2015
asala1:
You are getting it all wrong. I am not even a Muslim. BTW the work Allah literary means "The God" Arabic.
The Christian God is a Hebrew God and has a name was called YHWH. The word God means something else from the beginning, why not just call Him YHWH instead of adopting God as His name. For example in yoruba spirituality, Sango is Sango and Olodumare is Olodumare, just as my name is asala1 and you just don't choose to call me another name cause it is convenient for you.

Another example is the name Jesus, was that His name from the beginning in the Hebrew or people just adopted the name Jesus because it is convenient. If the name of the messiah is to be as potent and was given by God as we believe, why change the name to Jesus?

Obasanjo is Obasanjo even in Japan, Ebele is Ebele even in China and Ban Ki-Moon is Ban Ki-moon even in Yoruba.

My question again, Where does the word "GOD" originate from and what was its original meaning?
Please tell us its original meaning, if the original meaning is different from the original meaning of the following words: Olodumare/Olorun in Yoruba, Abasi in Ibibio, katonda in buganda tribe of east Africa, god in english etc.

Almost every tribe in the world have a name for their supreme deity and all those tribe after recognizing the true God transfers that name they use for their supreme deity( which on most occasion refer to the god of creation or god of the sky) to the Supreme God and then demote or ignore the then supreme deity. The supreme deity is regarded as having supernatural powers or every other power is subject to it. That is why that name is transferred to the only supreme being YHWH

In English it did not transfer the name rather it differentiated the true God from the lesser god by using a capital G to differentiate it.

Why then did the Qu'ran used the arabic word Ibrahim for Abraham, a peron that existed thousand of years before Islam. The word God is an English word for YHWH same as Abasi, Olorun/Oldumare and Allah. These are names of God in different languages. God is in english, Olorun is yoruba, Abasi is Efik/Ibibio, Chukwu is Ibo.

Maybe you expect the English to abandon the use of their native name for hebrew in English Bible, why use Olorun/Olodumare in Yoruba Bible

There has been varied explanation to the source of the word "God" from different scholars, but many of them acknowledged that, "The English word God originated from an old Anglo-Saxon word which itself was derived from the Germanic word Gott which was used to refer to all sorts of "gods," not necessarily the "True God" (just as "god" still is)." How come the word is been used in the Bible to replace the name of the Christian God? Why can't the name of the Christian God be written as it is like the Muslims do for Allah?

Questions?

1. Where did the word 'God originate from?

2. What is its meaning?

3. Why is it used in the place of the Christian God in the Bible and not the real name?
I understand the purpose of topic and the comparison of the word God and the word Allah. It is good that you brought this up.

Firstly the name God or god are purely English words, i hope you do not expect the English to use another language's name for the true God in their dialect. Most of English words are derived from Anglo- Saxon and old Germanic words. Then the word God refers to the true God, while the word god( note with small letter g) refers to those of idols. Now in most native languages there is a thin difference between the idolatry god and the true God in inception( i mean before and in the advent of Christianity and Islam).

For your information, the only tribe or race that have a direct name for God and it is not a derived name are the Jews and possible the Arabs since they exist side by side with the Jews.

Now coming to the term Allah, did you find out the origin of the word? No, i guess you did not. You just don't wake-up and want to condemn a faith you don't belong or like and want to make your own look unique and superior.
The term Allah was already in use before the advent of Islam, the Arabic Christians and Jewish Arabs were already using Allah for the true God before the coming of the prophet of Islam.

Origin of the word Allah: Allah is an Arabic word used in referring to the true God. The word Allah according to some scholars was derived from the name of the Arabic deity of the moon god. This is not the point I am driving at because this may not be true( because some have countered that position).

What I am driving at is that the fact is that the term Allah itself was used by the Christian Arab and Jewish Arabs before Islam adopted it, it was not originally Islam. Why in context of your question, did the Muslims adopt the name of the Arabic Christian God?

There is nothing wrong in that, we all know they are soliciting for votes. It is better done this way than doing it in a violent way.

The spokeman of Buhari campaign organization, Alhaji Garba asked: “Are they saying everyone is a liar? what did he mean by that statement? Does it mean they had liars or they lied?
PoliticsControversy Over Buhari's Mission In UK. by myproperty(op): 8:04am On Feb 23, 2015
It was announce that RTD. GEN. Buhari was in London as a guest speaker in Chatham house, then came GOV. Fayose saying he went for medical checkup and now Buhari's wife giving another reason. Who is right among them.

http://dailytimes.com.ng/article/buhari-uk-rest-says-wife
“He’s just come here to rest. He’s just here to have a rest, at least a few days rest before he goes back to business.” Those were the words of Hajia Aishat, the wife of Major General Muhammadu Buhari, in which she denied insinuations that her husband is in the United Kingdom to attend to a grave illness.

There was widespread controversy at the weekend that the UK trip of Gen. Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was on health grounds although his campaign organization said it was for political business.

The health of 72-year-old Gen. Buhari has been an issue in the country’s presidential campaign, with a group expressing fears that he may be unable to perform optimally if he emerges president. Buhari has, however, consistently pooh-poohed the claim that he is physically unfit.

A photograph of Buhari, said to have been taken with former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, as well as Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun and Senator Bukola Saraki, purportedly to confirm the claim that he was in the UK for political business, stirred further controversy.

While the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Peter Ayodele Fayose, argued that the photograph was a trick and a lie, others doubted its authenticity on the ground that Amosun was on a campaign train in Sagamu, Ogun State, on the day he was said to have taken the picture with the team. Blair was also said to have been somewhere else in Europe, not the UK, that day.

In an interview with the Daily Times, the spokesman of the Buhari campaign organization, Alhaji Garba Shehu, asked the doubters to also fault the fact that the presidential candidate was received by a prominent Ogun State monarch, and granted a television interview.

However, Fayose insisted at the weekend that information about the APC presidential candidate is being hidden from Nigerians. The Ekiti Governor specifically challenged Buhari to swear by the Holy Quran that he (Buhari) did not visit a UK hospital on arrival in London last week.

Buhari’s wife debunked rumours that Buhari is gravely sick and undergoing medical treatment in London. Mrs Buhari allayed the fears of Nigerians and APC supporters after emerging from a two-hour interactive drinks reception she and the wife of her husband’s running-mate, Mrs Osinbajo, held for Nigerians in the diaspora on Saturday night at the Westminster Plaza Hotel, in Waterloo.

“He’s home, well and sound,” Hajia Buhari said, as she fielded media questions after emerging from the oversubscribed interactive session. When asked if her husband was in hospital, she smiled warmly and turning to the reporter, said, “I’m hearing it for the first time.” Gen. Buhari, meanwhile, was said to have attended Friday prayers at a Mosque near Baker Street.

“He attended prayers on Friday, he was seen around the mosque near Baker street,” the source revealed, before Hajia Buhari’s disclosure . When pressed further on if her husband was in London for a medical check-up, Hajia Buhari smiled and said: “No, he’s just come here to rest. He’s just here to have a rest. At least a few days rest before he goes back to business.”

Buhari is expected to deliver a speech at the Chatham House on Thursday this week. “He’s speaking at Chatham House on Thursday, they will soon put it up on their website,” a member of the UK chapter of the APC disclosed to the Daily Times during Saturday’s event.

The source also revealed that the Party’s Chairman, Chief John Odigie Oyegun, is due in London on Monday (today), and that Buhari’s running-mate, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, will be guest speaker at another event holding at the House of Commons next week Thursday, March 5. On her part, the wife of the Ogun State Governor, Mrs Olufunso Amosun, during Saturday’s event, warned Nigerians against setting their expectations too high if the APC wins the March 28 presidential elections.

Accusing the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of “leaving a legacy of unemployment,” she said to the attendees: “General Buhari is not a magician, “ adding: “He will not find you a job if you do not go out there and help yourself.”

Mrs Amosun told “armchair critics” that to build Nigeria goes beyond sitting at a remote location and criticising on the social media. “We need to improve our literacy levels in order to tackle mortality rates and boost education, among others,” she said, adding: “It is beyond writing on social media,” to do this.

But the event was marred by the number of angry Nigerians who had thronged the venue to hear what the duo of Mrs Buhari and Mrs Osinbajo had to say. Reacting to claims by some people that Buhari’s photograph with Blair, Saraki and Amosun was fake, Alhaji Garba asked: “Are they saying everyone is a liar, including Awujale who received GMB at home in London and the TV station that aired his studio interview?”

But the Ekiti State Governor, who issued a statement last week saying that Buhari was admitted at a hospital located at Cavendish Street, Cavendish Square, W2 London West End, London, challenged the APC presidential candidate to swear by the Holy Quran if he (Buhari) did not visit a UK hospital last week. Fayose said that the hope of Buhari’s party to seize power in Nigeria, using Buhari will be dashed at the end. He said: “Buhari will never be Nigeria’s president again.”

Speaking through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, the governor said: “I wish they can see spiritually what I am talking about that Buhari, despite the hullabaloo, will never be president. I predicted my return as Ekiti State Governor and I am saying it again that Buhari will never rule Nigeria again.

“After President Goodluck Jonathan, there will be a young element in his late 50s from the North that will be Nigeria’s president. I want to liken this revelation to the story of Elijah and Elisha. I am the Elijah while my followers are Elisha.”

While maintaining that he was not wishing Buhari dead, Fayose said: “I owe it a duty to Nigeria and its people to expose the antics of the APC cabal whose only interest is to seize power to further their selfish interests.

“Without doubt, it is obvious that these cabal in the APC are trying so hard to deceive Nigerians on Buhari’s health status. That’s the reason they have been using photoshopped pictures to defend their lies on Buhari’s UK trip.

“First, they used a March 5, 2013 picture, claiming that Buhari was taking a walk in London on Thursday. Later they came up with another poorly cropped picture of Buhari with former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair.

“The same people who lied in September 2012 that they received a gold card invitation to attend the Democratic National Convention in the United States of America are behind the robing of Buhari in the garment of lies and I challenge Buhari to swear by the Holy Quran that he did not visit hospital in the United Kingdom last week.

“However, I want to disappoint this selfish cabal. Buhari is only raising their hope and that hope will be dashed.”

The fact that a country was conquered my muslims does not indicate that the people were forced at gunpoint to become muslims, otherwise you wont find a single coptic christian iin egypt today.

using your analogy do you realise that christianity came to Nigeria after the british conquered the country. does that indicate that your grand parents were forced to become christians!
Why do you have to defend your faith by concealing the truth. Who doesn't know of the way Islam was spread. Islam was spread majorly through a very unholy method known as war conquest and you are saying that the fact that a country was conquered by Muslims does not indicate that the people were forced at gunpoint to become muslims, what a funny statement.

So what was the purpose of the Muslims invasion(there by killing millions in the war), or do you mean it is just an Islamic injunction to attack or to war with countries?

Thank God you said British conquered the country but not a religious invasion. What do you think is the purpose of a religious invasion? The issue of the major factor that lead to the spread of Islam is not debatable .

Muslim conquest of North Africa

The Muslim conquest of North Africa west of Egypt began 647 CE, and was completed for the urban zones and all along the coast by 710. It happened through attack wars, and the Muslims established administrative units. The first stages were during the reign of 3rd Caliph Uthman, whereas firm control was secured during the Umayyad calipate.
The motivation for the conquest seem to have been quite normal. With the exception of Tunisia, the territories of North Africa were politically and military weak, while the Muslim army had great military training allowing easy advances, even if Berbers gave the Muslim Arab army strong resistance. Berber strongholds here were smaller and more in number and belonged to villages and local administrations and its elite could more easily relocate to another place when threatened. When the Muslims started to advance into the heartlands of North Africa, corresponding to modern Tunisia, they could play different small kings up against each other, thereby forming effective alliances. They allied with what appears to have been Kasila, the king of Djedar.
Contrary to what happened in Egypt and the Middle East, Islam here quickly replaced Christianity.
The first goal of the Muslims was to obtain tribute in slaves and recruits for the army from Cyrenaica.
The conquest of central Libya happened in the 640's, Tunisia between 670 and 698, Algeria the 680's and Morocco by 710.
http://i-cias.com/e.o/muslim_conquest_north_africa.htm

Please note there is no Islamic state that was not conquered by Islamic war. It spread majorly through conquest.

I am not assuming, history is available, facts are abound, facts cannot be distorted.
Islam is the only religion that is associated with force conversion or conversion against ones will, that does not mean that people did not convert to Islam without the use of force. What I said is that Islamic war conquest is the single major factor that lead to the spread of Islam.

BORN MUSLIMS WITHOUT ISLAMIC KNOWLEDGE!
Those pastors were indeed born Muslims, but they were not guided by their parents to the path of Islam, just like Pastor Tunde Bakare whose mother took to a 'Babalawo' (fetish native doctor) while in the university.

It is therefore not enough to be born into a Muslim, home you need to be guided and as you grow up also search just as this American woman did:

at the arrival of Islam more than half of the christains converted to Islam including the major sees of christainity Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch, and Jerusalem except only Rome.can they mention any single muslim country or even community that converted to christainity even inspite of imperialism.
They were forced to become Muslims through Islamic war conquest but not through conviction. The Imperialism you mentioned is a policy of extending a country's power and influence through colonization especially through the use of military force.

The spread of Christianity was majorly by conviction and that was why our colonial masters ( though Christians)did not force the religion on the Muslims.
What do you think would have happened if we were colonized by a Muslim country?

Are you saying it wasn't by force? Force or war conquest and fear of loosing your territory and freedom was the most successful tool in the expansion of Islam. Can you mention an Islamic country that was not invaded or conquered by Islamic proponent .The few Christians in those area you mentioned are still undergoing persecution.

you see, this is one of the reason i came up with this tread.
how can man see in the scripture heaven on earth (for him to come up with this theme, that means he must have seen something like this in the Scripture ) at the same time begin to ask church members questions like if you want to make heaven in the future when the trumpet shall sound?( making heaven on earth null and void )
is that not contradiction?
it's true that the Scripture talked about the coming of Christ, But like i said Christ has been coming to judge men everyday.
people die everyday, it is appointed once for men to die, after that judgement.
as for sound of the trumpet, quote the place out in the Scripture let's see.
i am not saying there is no sound of the trumpet in the Scripture,
just show were it is written.
i will tell you that white men who brought Christianity to Africa are not mumu like us
lol.
you see this country called Nigeria, na God go judge this country
We are not yet living in heaven as you claim.

Biblical Descriptions of Heaven

There is a constant chant of holy angels that are continually proclaiming Holy, Holy, Holy over the throne of God. The Mercy Seat in heaven where God sits is surrounded by magnificent angels full of glory and power that proclaim and bless the holy name of God without ceasing. Some of these are described as beasts, full of eyes, with six wings and neither rest day or night in their proclaiming the holiness of God (Rev. 4:8-11).

Heaven Descends to the Earth
The Kingdom of Heaven begins on earth, after Christ’s return, the New Jerusalem descends out of heaven and heaven, in the New Jerusalem, will then be on earth. Revelation 21:1-2 describes this: “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.” The very tabernacle of God will be with humans then and heaven is any place where God is (Rev. 21:3). All pain, suffering, and tears will absent there (Rev. 21:4).

John was carried away to heaven in Revelation chapter 21 and this chapter is perhaps the best description of heaven that we know of; at least the heaven that will be seen by those who are Christ’s today. John describes it in Revelation 21:10-27:

These clearly shows that heaven is in the future. The future is when you die and face judgement or when you are alive and experience the end of time.

Heaven is definitely in the future and that is why after every sermon the pastor Oyedepo you quoted would ask questions like this: if you know that if the trumpet should sound now you would not make heaven please come out now and accept Christ as your personal Saviour and repent, confess your sin and ask for forgiveness.

The question are you saved means if the trumpet sounds now would you make heaven? If heaven is on earth already then there would be no need for the scripture to talk about the second coming of Christ and there would be no need for repentance and forgiveness of sin and there would be no need for judgement day.

Martins301:
Buhari is a man of integrity. He lives by his word and his record as a public office holder has shown that he can deliver on promises made. That is enough assurance for now.

Most cars driven in Nigeria are low cost (tokumbor) cars. A large proportion of Nigerians cannot buy those new cars because over 70 percent of Nigerians are poor. If the market is not there to sell the new cars then soon enough this car assembly plants will have to close shop unless they source for buyers from other countries (Ghana, Niger, Cameroon, etc).

But can they competite with producers in those countries? Am sure they can't. Not when Nigeria's cost of producing such vehicles is very high since they have to import their materials, and power their production plants with generators.

No doubt GEJ has done his best but his best is not good enough. You do not place the cart before the horse and expect progress. There are more fundamental problems that needs to be taken care of first before rolling out new vehicles that 99% of Nigerians cant afford, and GEJ has shnwn that he can't take care of those problems.
please don't get it wrong. The government don't produce cars. What the government simply did was to make and enforce an automotive policy ( i.e placing the horse before the cart) in which attracted these investments in the sector and thereby creating jobs.

The world is a global place, Cars can not be produced to be sold only in country of production. You are not to carry out feasibility study for the people that sunk billions in these investments, they must have carried out their feasibility study and also put the factors you mentioned, such as power into consideration before thinking of production. Be as it may, it is a policy that is yielding a positive result. What makes you think that the cost of production in those countries you mentioned are cheaper than Nigeria.

Politicians don't live by their words same with Buhari, have you forgotten when he said he would not contest for election again? same with GEJ when he said he would not seek a second term. Don't also forget that Buhari had ruled Nigeria before, what economic policy did he introduce(he introduced barter in the oil sector) or rather what was his achievement then, what and what can you point at that he did as head of state . He has great achievements when being given a job to carry out but as a head of state........ Did you say integrity? A man who refer to human beings as baboon and also called for them to be soaked in their blood as integrity? that refuse to obey tribunal judgement which he himself set up as integrity? that decide to kill people who committed an offense when the offense was not carrying death sentence has integrity. Does integrity have a different meaning? You may say you believe Buhari is better than GEJ, but for some GEJ is better than Buhari, it is all about choice.

please politicians would always be politicians

when somebody has done something let him have the credit.

paxonel:
all these Matthew you quoted are statements made by Jesus before he was crucified.
there is time for everything.
there was time or era before Christ resurrected (judaism) and there is era after the resurrection where we christians belong.
these two era are not the same.
so, bible is a book of two different religions.
not everyone That called him lord lord means, not all Jesus disciples will see the kingdom of God which is Christianity .because the disciples called him lord lord.
judas Iscariot didn't see it, John the Baptist didn't see it, infact only 120 disciples out of 5000 who eat 5 loaves and fishes saw it.
act 1:15
But all christians are now in Christianity or the kingdom,.far better than disciples because of his crucifixion.
So he wasn't talking to christians when he made that statement.
he was talking to his disciples , infact, there was no Christianity then. Christ has not yet been crucified.
Jesus even told his disciples in
Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
that is, strive to hold your believe in me until it is time for me to be crucified and resurrected.
13:25 says When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
so, the time before resurrection is without (outside ) while the time after resurrection is within (inside ).
Matthew 25:32. The separation is between Christianity and other religion. it is done already.
2 cor 5:10, we are always judged at our death. all christians back to life, non Christians to lake of fire, see revelation.
it is appointed for men to die, after that, judgment.
What you are labouring to tell me is that not everyone is the same thing as not all Jesus Disciples and that The Kingdom of God is the same thing as Christianity? Oh what an interpretation?

Don't forget that you said by believing in Christ alone you are already saved. Are you also trying to tell me that Judas and John the Baptist did not believe in Christ?

Yes we are always judged at our death. But you said we are already in heaven, which I said no until after judgement, Now those people that are judged to life are going to where since non-christians are going to lake of fire?

When was the separation done? can you show me scripturally or are you assuming it? As this statement also taken place? Matthew 16:27
For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

Can an average Nigerian who is not a thieving politician afford to buy those cars? No. Are there good roads to ride the cars on? No. Are the parts used for making the vehicles produced in Nigeria? No. What then is the cause of celebration?

GEJ should leave Aso Rock peacefully. Am sure when Buhari. comes, he would take care of important issues like electricity, good roads, and revive our steel mills so as. to make vehicle production a sustainable venture in Nigeria.
politicians account for less than 1% of cars driven in Nigeria. Cars are already being driven in Nigerian roads.

The cause for celebration is this:
1. In Oct 3rd 2013, the federal government introduced a new automotive policy which resulted in the production of the first made in Nigeria car called innoson (http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/nnoson-unveils-first-truly-made-in-nigeria-cars/195917/) and they employed 7200 staffs in the plastic and automobile section of the company not to talk about the indirect jobs created, which as to do with dealers, suppliers of raw materials and other needs to the firm.

2. Then came hyundai and Nissan, whether made in Nigeria or assembled in Nigeria. More jobs are created directly and indirectly and definitely the price cannot be as high like before.
The fact is that the government industrial policy is showing positive result, no wonder some production firms that were dead are beginning to function again, such as some textile industries and breweries and new firms are springing up in automobile, breweries, agriculture, aviation etc.

in essence this policy had strengthened the economy by creating more jobs, sooner or later the need to cut cost of their vehicles because of competition would lead to sourcing for steel locally for the purpose of producing vehicles that are being assembled.

The Buhari you mentioned ruled Nigeria at a time and those things you said he would do, he never did them then, except otherwise he is a different Buhari now.
Come to think of it how do you know he would do it?

the very day Christ resurrected since 2000 years ago, and the very day any non christian (unbeliever ) or athiest decide to believe in Jesus, he is automatically translated to heaven
By believing in Christ alone does not mean you are save.

Matthew 7:20-23King James Version (KJV)

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

You are not in heaven, because you are not yet judged.

PoliticsRe: APC Has Won The Elections, Except PDP Rigs On The Other Side – Tinubu by myproperty(m): 12:04am On Feb 20, 2015
Dotun9:
The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu yesterday declared that the ruling People’s Democratic Party can’t rig out its Presidential Candidate, Muhammadu Buhari this time while expressing his confidence of his party’s victory in next general elections.

Asiwaju stated this while speaking at a stakeholders meeting of Lagos APC insisted that May 29 remains sacrosanct, stressing that the ‘APC has won the elections, except they rig on the other side.’

He said no amount of intimidation and treats from the presidency and the PDP will shake APC ahead of the elections.

“We are ready for the elections. They think they are wise by postponing the elections, but they are not. APC has won this election except they rig on the other side. All their intimidation will amount to nothing during the elections. They tried to intimidate us during last year Osun State governorship election but they failed. We will be on the street waiting for them. Since they brought soldiers to my house, I have been sleeping very well because I am not afraid of them.

“We have been working hard in Abuja. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) must use the card readers whether they like it. PDP doesn’t want it but we are going to resist their plan. They cannot rig us out. March 28 is sacrosanct but before then we are going to ensure we get highest of our voters Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs).

“This is the time for unity and understanding. Nigeria is going through challenges and we want to change Nigeria for the interest of the masses. So, this is the time for change. We should also tell our Igbo brothers that we are one for the same economy. The exchange rate rise from N95 to N210 in Jonathan’s hands and he will continue to give us excuses. We must change him.”

Tinubu appealed to the party members to canvass for registered voters in their neighbourhood to collect their PVCs to increase the number of voters in the state.

http://www.theheraldng.com/apc-won-elections-except-pdp-rigs-side-tinubu/
So they have already finished the election. Who conducted the election and who announced the winner? and what is the margin of victory, did he get 2/3 in the required state?
It was during OBJ time that the winners of elections are known before the actual voting or i almost forgot, OBJ is no more in PDP, is OBJ involve in the election stuff?

Land and water still polluted no good infrastructures for 49yrs till date
Niger Delta ministry again? It is a federal ministry. We are talking about what the state government in the north compared to south south. The infrastructures in South South states are far far better in the last 11years , even though the South South have a very difficult terrain.
But for oil pollution a federal government organ is in charge of that. if you have to pick 10 states that have performed well, definitely you would include at least 2 to 3 states in South south if not more

can you provide any evidence that he spent any so called stolen money or hide your ugly fat face in shame for ever.
you think that good governance is all about building road and round about. how many direct jobs has Akpabio created? what is his achievement in Education, health, agriculture, etc. Amaechi is just a class of its own
I am not surprised in your name calling, we know their antecedence, they don't discuss issues, and if ones opinion is contrary to theirs they resort to abuses and name calling.

Thank God you mentioned building roads, for your information in Akwaibom State primary school is compulsory and an offense for a child of that school age not to be in school and it is a free education . I don't think you are informed concerning the state, even if one mentions what and what he has done you would say it is a lie. Many people have talked about the quality of his projects. but to you he has done nothing.

You talk about direct job creation, the government does not need to create jobs but to make an avenue in the form of policy and infrastructural development. These are what attracts creation of jobs by individuals and organizations.

Did you say evidence of spending stolen money ? As if you had evidence when you called every Governor in South South criminals apart from Rotimi Amaechi.
