PoliticsRe: Buhari Vs Jonathan: Beyond The Election By Charles Soludo by myproperty(m): 3:26pm On Jan 26, 2015
what Soludo wrote is a wake-up call to both APC and PDP, his analyses is quite interesting. This is the kind of issues the political parties should be telling us how to tackle or handle, but unfortunately both parties are birds of the same feather ideologically. I believe what Soludo said are not all true because he ones praised Peter Obi and now castigating him, the same thing El-rufai did by castigating Buhari during OBJ regime, telling us that Buhari is not electable being a serial failure academically, but today, in El-rufai's eyes Buhari is now the political messiah of Nigeria. The fact there is that Soludo is now a politician and that makes me understand GEJ and Peter Obi's bashing.

Nevertheless he has raised very important issues that any serious government that would be in power come may29 must tackle. The country is facing serious economic crisis because of our dependent on oil. Whosoever becomes president would have no choice than to work, economic crisis on most occasion brings about a turn around for the better in most countries( that is if the government in power takes the right measures). This year would not be rosy economically and the government must be up and doing.

Nigeria would survive and overcome her numerous problems and would be a great Nation. The time for that has come.

The only reason why I'm am answering this post is to clarify this to others who may read your post and think you make sense. Your behavior and the way you conduct your conversations do not deserve my acknowledgment. You are here to represent your religion yet you do not do so in commendable manner. Telling a religious person they worship the devil. Your actions don't in any way reflect the character of Jesus who you look up to.

Yes, Islam denies the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. Muslims believe that God rescued Jesus from the schemes of the unbelievers and raised Christ to heaven. The general Islamic view is that someone else was crucified in Jesus' place, Judas Iscariot was the one whom the unbelievers killed.

Judas was made to look like Jesus on the night when Christ was to be crucified. The unbelieving Jews thought that they had crucified Christ when in reality it was Judas that they had killed.

Why give the enemy the power of killing Jesus? Wouldn't that be them winning? Were they acting in the way of God by helping God kill him for his sins. No, they were killing him for the faith he was spreading. When they killed him, was he dying for the sins of the jews who brutaly crucified him as well?

If anything, Islam does more justice to Jesus for not giving the enemy the satisfaction of having killing someone so special as the messenger of God. Jesus had the last laugh.

There is no false religion for where you believe the messengers before Jesus did not know of Jesus as Jesus but as the father that know one has told me about yet, We believe all the messengers worshiped and spread the message of the same, one Almighty God from the beginning.
I expect you to speak based on your religious belief as a Muslim and then Christians would also speak based on their religious belief. Judas Iscariot has been death(Matthew 27:3–10) before Christ was crucified and his position as a disciple was filled up by Mathias according to the Bible. The piercing of Christ hands and legs was prophesied more than 1000years before Christ came in psalm22:16

" Dogs surround me,
a pack of villains encircles me;
they pierce my hands and my feet"

Christ did not just come everything concerning him was prophesied.

the question is if Judas was crucified in place of Christ as the Qur'an says what offense did Judas commit according to the Qur'an or was Judas just killed for nothing in place of Christ. The Bible gave a vivid description of the death of Christ from His betrayal to His arrest and death. On the Cross a thief was forgiven for believing in Him, if it was Judas that was crucified would it happen?

No you are very wrong or you just want to defend your intolerance. When you talk about the religion that tolerates other people religion, you cant take it away from the Christians. Please do not talk about Muslims tolerating Christians and Christians not tolerating Muslims. there are Mosque in both SS and SE and have you ever heard of mosque being demolished or destroyed in those regions even at the face of intolerance of northern muslim's killing of Christians and destruction of Churches in the north? You can only say there are few Mosque in SE/SS. There are by far much more Christian in the north( in fact every state in the north have a considerable amount of her natives that are Christians) than Muslims in the SS/SE. So naturally there cannot be much Mosque in the South in comparison to the number of Churches in the north. Put on you TV set and listen to news, you would know the religion that is more tolerant and the one that is consistence with intolerance

PoliticsRe: The Crimes Of Buhari by prof. Wole Soyinka by myproperty(op): 12:29pm On Jan 08, 2015
By contrast, Fela Anikulapo languished in gaol for years, sentenced under that very draconian decree. His crime was being in possession of foreign exchange that he had legitimately received for the immediate upkeep of his band as they set off for an international engagement. A vicious sentence was slapped down on Fela by a judge who later became so remorse stricken at least after Buhari’s overthrow that he went to the King of Afro-beat and apologized.

Lesser known was the traumatic experience of the director of an international communication agency, an affiliate of UNESCO. Akin Fatoyinbo arrived at the airport in complete ignorance of the new currency decree. He was thrown in gaol in especially brutal condition, an experience from which he never fully recovered. It took several months of high-level intervention before that innocent man was eventually freed. These were not exceptional but mere sample cases from among hundreds of others, victims of a decree that was selectively applied, a decree that routinely penalized innocents and ruined the careers and businesses of many.

What else? What does one choose to include or leave out? What precisely was Ebenezer Babatope’s crime that he should have spent the entire tenure of General Buhari in detention? Nothing beyond the fact that he once warned in the media that Buhari was an ambitious soldier who would bear watching through the lenses of a coup-detat. Babatope’s father died while he was in Buhari’s custody, the dictator remained deaf to every plea that he be at least released to attend his father’s funeral, even under guard. I wrote an article at the time, denouncing this pointless insensitivity. So little to demand by a man who was never accused of, nor tried for any crime, much less found guilty. Such a load of vindictiveness that smothered all traces of basic human compassion deserves no further comment in a nation that values its traditions.

But then, speaking the truth was not what Buhari, as a self-imposed leader, was especially enamoured of enquire of Tunde Thompson and Nduka Irabor both of whom, faithful to their journalistic calling, published nothing but the truth, yet ended up sentenced under Buhari’s decree. Mind you, no one can say that Buhari was not true to his word. shall tamper with the freedom of the press swore the dictator immediately on grabbing office, and this was exactly what he did. And so on, and on, and on.

The argument of those who say that, by endorsing Buhari, they are settling on someone who can be guaranteed to give Obasanjo and the NPN a good fight, is one of the most depressing excuses I ever encountered for placing a political noose around a nation’s neck. Buhari owes a debt to this nation, not the other way round. If Buhari wishes to rehabilitate himself in the eyes of the citizenry whom he has so cruelly wronged, he should first scuttle his ambitions, then place whatever following he has garnered in the meantime at the disposal of a consensus candidate among the opposition. To insist on another taste of power, after such a history of gross abuse of power is an insult to any nation that values freedom and human dignity. Buhari should sit with the opposition and coordinate strategies to defeat the most unscrupulous act of political gerrymandering that, we all know, is about to be inflicted on the nation by a desperate incumbent seeking for a clone to secure his exit from power. The nation has more than sufficient time and strategic intelligence to organize behind a common choice, publicize his or her qualities and defeat the arrogance of incumbency.

What is being eroded, through the power of suggestion, is a people’s confidence in itself, and this is the beginning of mass suicide. Without that confidence, no powers on high or on earth, external or internal, can rescue the community from both the palpable and symbolic chains of slavery. To invite back into power a man who did so much to destroy a people’s self-esteem, dignity, and faith in law and justice, is a sign of self-abasement, lack of self-esteem, a slave mentality that dooms, not only the present, but succeeding generations.

I wish to declare, unequivocally, that those of my party, the ARP/DFPF shall not participate in such a degrading surrender

The Crimes Of Buhari–Wole Soyinka

5 January 2011 written by Republic Report New York

New York [RR] ABUJA–this intervention has been provoked, not so much by the ambitions of General Buhari to return to power at the head of a democratic Nigeria, as by declarations of support from directions that leave one totally dumbfounded.

It would appear that some, myself among them, had been over complacent about the magnitude of an ambition that seemed as preposterous as the late effort of General Ibrahim Babangida to aspire yet again to the honour of presiding over a society that truly seeks a democratic future.

What one had dismissed was a rash of illusions, brought about by other political improbabilities that surround us, however, is being given an air of plausibility by individuals and groupings to which one had earlier attributed a sense of relevance of historic actualities. Recently, I published an article in the media, invoking the possible recourse to psychiatric explanation for some of the incongruities in conduct within national leadership.

Now, to tell the truth, I have begun to seriously address the issue of which section of society requires the services of a psychiatrist. The contest for a seizure of rationality is now so polarized that I am quite reconciled to the fact it could be those of us on this side, not the opposing school of thought that ought to declare ourselves candidates for a lunatic asylum. So be it. While that decision hangs in the balance however, the forum is open. Let both sides continue to address our cases to the electorate, but also prepare to submit ourselves for psychiatric examination.

The time being so close to electoral decision, we can understand the haste of some to resort to shortcuts. In the process however, we should not commit the error of opening the political space to any alternative whose curative touch to national afflictions have proven more deadly than the disease. In order to reduce the clutter in our options towards the forthcoming elections, we urge a beginning from what we do know, what we have undergone, what millions can verify, what can be sustained by evidence accessible even to the school pupil, the street hawker or a just-come visitor from outer space. Leaving Buhari aside for now, I propose a commencing exercise that should guide us along the path of elimination as we examine the existing register of would-be president. That initial exercise can be summed up in the following speculation: If it were possible for Olusegun Obasanjo, the actual incumbent, to stand again for election, would you vote for him?

If the answer is yes, then of course all discussion is at an end. If the answer is No however, then it follows that a choice of a successor made by Obasanjo should be assessed as hovering between extremely dangerous and an outright kiss of death. The degree of acceptability of such a candidate should also be inversely proportionate to the passion with which he or she is promoted by the would-be godfather. We do not lack for open evidence about Obasanjos passion in this respect. From Lagos to the USA, he has taken great pains to assure the nation and the world that the anointed NPN presidential flag bearer is guaranteed, in his judgment, to carry out his policies. Such an endorsement/anointment is more than sufficient, in my view, for public acceptance or rejection. YarAduas candidature amounts to a terminal kiss from a moribund regime. Nothing against the person of this I am informed – personable governor, but let him understand that in addition to the direct source of his emergence, the PDP, on whose platform he stands, represents the most harrowing of this nations nightmares over and beyond even the horrors of the Abacha regime. If he wishes to be considered on his own merit, now is time for him, as well as others similarly enmeshed, to exercise the moral courage that goes with his repudiation of that party, a dissociation from its past, and a pledge to reverse its menacing future. We shall find him an alternative platform on which to stand, and then have him present his credentials along those of other candidates engaged in forging a credible opposition alliance. Until then, let us bury this particular proposition and move on to a far graver, looming danger, personified in the history of General Buhari.

The grounds on which General Buhari is being promoted as the alternative choice are not only shaky, but pitifully naive. History matters. Records are not kept simply to assist the weakness of memory, but to operate as guides to the future. Of course, we know that human beings change. What the claims of personality change or transformation impose on us is a rigorous inspection of the evidence, not wishful speculation or behind-the-scenes assurances. Public offence, crimes against a polity, must be answered in the public space, not in caucuses of bargaining. In Buhari, we have been offered no evidence of the sheerest prospect of change. On the contrary, all evident suggests that this is one individual who remains convinced that this is one ex-ruler that the nation cannot call to order.

Buhari need one remind anyone – was one of the generals who treated a Commission of Enquiry, the Oputa Panel, with unconcealed disdain. Like Babangida and Abdusalami, he refused to put in appearance even though complaints that were tabled against him involved a career of gross abuses of power and blatant assault on the fundamental human rights of the Nigerian citizenry.

Prominent against these charges was an act that amounted to nothing less than judicial murder, the execution of a citizen under a retroactive decree. Does Decree 20 ring a bell? If not, then, perhaps the names of three youths – Lawal Ojuolape (30), Bernard Ogedengbe (29) and Bartholomew Owoh (26) do. To put it quite plainly, one of those three Ogedengbe – was executed for a crime that did not carry a capital forfeit at the time it was committed. This was an unconscionable crime, carried out in defiance of the pleas and protests of nearly every sector of the Nigerian and international community religious, civil rights, political, trade unions etc. Buhari and his sidekick and his partner-in-crime, Tunde Idiagbon persisted in this inhuman act for one reason and one reason only: to place Nigerians on notice that they were now under an iron, inflexible rule, under governance by fear.

The execution of that youthful innocent for so he was, since the punishment did not exist at the time of commission – was nothing short of premeditated murder, for which the perpetrators should normally stand trial upon their loss of immunity. Are we truly expected to forget this violation of our entitlement to security as provided under existing laws? And even if our sensibilities have become blunted by succeeding seasons of cruelty and brutality, if power itself had so coarsened the sensibilities also of rulers and corrupted their judgment, what should one rightly expect after they have been rescued from the snare of power. At the very least, a revaluation, leading hopefully to remorse, and its expression to a wronged society. At the very least, such a revaluation should engender reticence, silence. In the case of Buhari, it was the opposite. Since leaving office he has declared in the most categorical terms that he had no regrets over this murder and would do so again.

Human life is inviolate. The right to life is the uniquely fundamental right on which all other rights are based. The crime that General Buhari committed against the entire nation went further however, inconceivable as it might first appear. That crime is one of the most profound negations of civic being. Not content with hammering down the freedom of expression in general terms, Buhari specifically forbade all public discussion of a return to civilian, democratic rule. Let us constantly applaud our media those battle scarred professionals did not completely knuckle down. They resorted to cartoons and oblique, elliptical references to sustain the people’s campaign for a time-table to democratic rule. Overt agitation for a democratic time table however remained rigorously suppressed military dictatorship, and a specifically incorporated in Buhari and Idiagbon was here to stay. To deprive a people of volition in their own political direction is to turn a nation into a colony of slaves. Buhari enslaved the nation. He gloated and gloried in a master-slave relation to the millions of its inhabitants. It is astonishing to find that the same former slaves, now free of their chains, should clamour to be ruled by one who not only turned their nation into a slave plantation, but forbade them any discussion of their condition.

So Tai Solarin is already forgotten? Tai who stood at street corners, fearlessly distributing leaflets that took up the gauntlet where the media had dropped it. Tai who was incarcerated by that regime and denied even the medication for his asthmatic condition? Tai did not ask to be sent for treatment overseas; all he asked was his traditional medicine that had proved so effective after years of struggle with asthma!

Nor must we omit the manner of Buhari coming to power and the pattern of his corrective rule. Shagari’s NPN had already run out of steam and was near universally detested except of course by the handful that still benefited from that regime of profligacy and rabid fascism. Responsibility for the national condition lay squarely at the door of the ruling party, obviously, but against whom was Buharis coup staged? Judging by the conduct of that regime, it was not against Shagaris government but against the opposition. The head of government, on whom primary responsibility lay, was Shehu Shagari. Yet that individual was kept in cozy house detention in Ikoyi while his powerless deputy, Alex Ekwueme, was locked up in Kiri-kiri prisons. Such was the Buhari notion of equitable apportionment of guilt and/or responsibility.

And then the cascade of escapes of the wanted, and culpable politicians. Manhunts across the length and breadth of the nation, roadblocks everywhere and borders tight as steel zip locks. Lo and behold, the chairman of the party, Chief Akinloye, strolled out coolly across the border. Richard Akinjide, Legal Protector of the ruling party, slipped out with equal ease. The Rice Minister, Umaru Dikko, who declared that Nigerians were yet to eat from dustbins – escaped through the same airtight dragnet. The clumsy attempt to crate him home was punishment for his ingratitude, since he went berserk when, after waiting in vain, he concluded that the coup had not been staged, after all, for the immediate consolidation of the party of extreme right-wing vultures, but for the military hyenas.

The case of the overbearing Secretary-General of the party, Uba Ahmed, was even more noxious. Uba Ahmed was out of the country at the time. Despite the closure of the Nigerian airspace, he compelled the pilot of his plane to demand special landing permission, since his passenger load included the almighty Uba Ahmed. Of course, he had not known of the change in his status since he was airborne. The delighted airport commandant, realizing that he had a much valued fish swimming willingly into a waiting net, approved the request. Uba Ahmed disembarked into the arms of a military guard and was promptly clamped in detention. Incredibly, he vanished a few days after and reappeared in safety overseas. Those whose memories have become calcified should explore the media coverage of that saga. Buhari was asked to explain the vanished act of this much prized quarry and his response was one of the most arrogant levity. Coming from one who had shot his way into power on the slogan of displine, it was nothing short of impudent.

Shall we revisit the tragicomic series of trials that landed several politicians several lifetimes in prison? Recall, if you please, the judicial processes undergone by the septuagenarian Chief Adekunle Ajasin. He was arraigned and tried before Buhari’s punitive tribunal but acquitted. Dissatisfied, Buhari ordered his re-trial. Again, the Tribunal could not find this man guilty of a single crime, so once again he was returned for trial, only to be acquitted of all charges of corruption or abuse of office. Was Chief Ajasin thereby released? No! He was ordered detained indefinitely, simply for the crime of winning an election and refusing to knuckle under Shagari’s reign of terror.

The conduct of the Buhari regime after his coup was not merely one of double, triple, multiple standards but a cynical travesty of justice. Audu Ogbeh, currently chairman of the Action Congress was one of the few figures of rectitude within the NPN. Just as he has done in recent times with the PDP, he played the role of an internal critic and reformer, warning, dissenting, and setting an example of probity within his ministry. For that crime he spent months in unjust incarceration. Guilty by association? Well, if that was the motivating yardstick of the administration of the Buhari justice, then it was most selectively applied. The utmost severity of the Buhari-Idiagbon justice was especially reserved either for the opposition in general, or for those within the ruling party who had showed the sheerest sense of responsibility and patriotism.

Shall I remind this nation of Buhari’s deliberate humiliating treatment of the Emir of Kano and the Oni of Ife over their visit to the state of Israel? I hold no brief for traditional rulers and their relationship with governments, but insist on regarding them as entitled to all the rights, privileges and responsibilities of any Nigerian citizen. This royal duo went to Israel on their private steam and private business. Simply because the Buhari regime was pursuing some antagonistic foreign policy towards Israel, a policy of which these traditional rulers were not a part, they were subjected on their return to a treatment that could only be described as a head masterly chastisement of errant pupils. Since when, may one ask, did a free citizen of the Nigerian nation require the permission of a head of state to visit a foreign nation that was willing to offer that tourist a visa.?

One is only too aware that some Nigerians love to point to Buhari’s agenda of discipline as the shining jewel in his scrap-iron crown. To inculcate discipline however, one must lead by example, obeying laws set down as guides to public probity. Example speaks louder than declarations, and rulers cannot exempt themselves from the disciplinary strictures imposed on the overall polity, especially on any issue that seeks to establish a policy for public well-being. The story of the thirty something suitcases it would appear that they were even closer to fifty – found unavoidable mention in my recent memoirs, YOU MUST SET FORTH AT DOWN, written long before Buhari became spoken of as a credible candidate. For the exercise of a changeover of the national currency, the Nigerian borders air, sea and land had been shut tight. Nothing was supposed to move in or out, not even cattle egrets.

Yet a prominent camel was allowed through that needles eye. Not only did Buhari dispatch his aide-de-camp, Jokolo later to become an emir - to facilitate the entry of those cases, he ordered the redeployment as I later discovered – of the Customs Officer who stood firmly against the entry of the contravening baggage. That officer, the incumbent Vice-president is now a rival candidate to Buhari, but has somehow, in the meantime, earned a reputation that totally contradicts his conduct at the time. Wherever the truth lies, it does not redound to the credibility of the dictator of that time, General Buhari whose word was law, but whose allegiances were clearly negotiable.

On the theme of double, triple, multiple standards in the enforcement of the law, and indeed of the decrees passed by the Buhari regime at the time, let us recall the notorious case of Triple A Alhaji Alhaji Alhaji, then Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance. Who was caught, literally, with his pants down in distant Austria. That was not the crime however, and private conduct should always remain restricted to the domain of private censure. There was no decree against civil servants proving just as hormone driven as anyone else, especially outside the nation’s borders. However, there was a clear decree against the keeping of foreign accounts, and this was what emerged from the Austrian escapade. Alhaji Alhaji kept, not one, but several undeclared foreign accounts, and he had no business being in possession of the large amount of foreign currency of which he was robbed by his overnight companion. The media screamed for an even application of the law, but Buhari had turned suddenly deaf.

Christianity EtcRe: “God Has Anointed Me To Lead A Revolution Against Islamic Jihadists” – Oyedepo by myproperty(m): 11:02pm On Jan 04, 2015
A fiery video of Bishop David Oyedepo preaching at Living Faith Church has been uploaded to the internet in which Africa’s wealthiest clergymen angrily advocates death for the ‘Islamic demons’ in Northern Nigeria.

Although there is no date on the sermon televised on Dunamis TV belonging to Abuja Pastor Paul Enenche, the clip was uploaded in November 2014.

The above statement makes me to doubt the authenticity of the video with the following reasons:

The video is said to show the Bishop preaching in a Living Faith church, yet it was televised on Dunamis tv and the sermon televised has no date( which is very very abnormal) and yet it was uploaded in november 2014. The statement he made about the north ruling is very surprising because the Bishop from my own understanding hails from the north, except otherwise may be Kwara state is no more in the north.
This videos may not be real after all, I may be wrong but i doubt its authenticity. I believe if it was real the news papers would have made a screaming headline out of it.

are you sure Christians start religious crisis. if the statement credited to the pastor is true, what did he say concerning the religion called islam. From what i read, he spoke about islamic terrorist coming close to his church. You seem to be in support of islamic terrorism and so any statement against it is a statement against islam. May be it is christian causing religion crisis in Syria and Iraq through an Islamic body called ISIS and the global islamic group called Alqueda, Taliban, Alshabab, bokoharam and theislamic religious crisis affecting more than 98% of countries that have a near considerable amount of muslims. Nobody has tried to stop the spread of Islam but stopped the spread of islamic terrorism . Religion should be spread by preaching and acceptance should be by conviction but not by spreading it through killing people and forcing people to be muslim. Any religion from God would not need human being forcing and killing people to join it rather God would prove Himself to be God by Conviction and several other means but never by promoting murder

yoruba pseudo-intellectuals are a serious national handicap. I've never seen a group of people so completely void of a stance, viewpoint or backbone. Anything that happens they'll sway with the breeze and be for and against it at the exact same time, and it's never and issue the helps or advances their own people. They'll always own the issues of others on their own head while their own homeland is devoured by others. While this man is clamoring for Nigeria to condemn Israeli occupation of Palestine, Fulani occupation of Illorin is never mentioned because it would require them to show some sort of courage or actual sacrifice. As long as they can talk from a distance they channel their lust for bad belle and gossip into that issue so intensely that it will shock anyone. Then when it comes time to discuss the issues that effect them, nothing. All because that would require them to do something immediate and courageous. They'll just talk and talk without being for or against everything while being for and against everything at the same time.

Let mister Oloyede vote to recognize an Oba of Illorin to the face of it's Fulani Emir. Which one concerns you with Palestine? Even the Bakassi that Obasanjo sold to Cameroon, what is his stance on this? Ridiculous
You got it very wrong here. Your initial post was great. The statement made by the secretary of NSCIA( an Islamic body) is the position of that organisation and not that of the yoruba tribe. expressing anger and probably tribal hatred for the yoruba's by linking the tribe to an action taken by an islamic organisation is quite unfortunate. I do not think the Yoruba tribe fits to your assumption on them. in nigeria every tribe have a descriminatory definition of another tribe. Ask a yoruba person , hausa/fulani , calarbar, edo, ijaw, igala, igbira and other tribes to define or telling about the igbo person , You would be suprise by what would come out of their mouth, which would majorly show tribal hatred for your tribe. So this issue is not about tribe but about interest of that particular body

You have said something more sensible than the person you are quoting. A people who lack leadership leave themselves open to being led by anybody. If you lack a form of sense of direction because of lack of education, all you need is the stress of poverty to become easy prey for brainwashers. All of these people who were ready to die for 'God' are human resources that could have been indoctrinated with patroitism for our country and be used to develop it for our common good. But if you don't use them someone else will. Fill people up with a good ideology or watch them get filled with a bad one. That's the choice we have to make.
i would have agreed with you, but when you look at people like Abdulmutalab, who had the best of education and many more like him, what would you say is their reason of being brainwashed. what is evil is evil. poverty and illiteracy is not only in the north east, it is in every state in Nigeria and cut across every tribe and religion. There is more to it than lack of education and poverty

please forget about all this lies. Buhari never built nor upgrade any refinery, below is the dates the refineries were built and the capacity of the acclaimed refineries you said Buhari built.

Kaduna refinery in northern Nigeria was built in
1980 with a capacity of 5.5 million mt/yr

in 1982, and an LAB plant in 1987.
Warri refinery in the south central region was

up of two refineries, built in 1965 and 1989. In
1993 they were merged into one, with a total

PropertiesCheap Land By Asokoro For Sale(08159072622) by myproperty(op):
The plot of land sill remaining is about 10hectares. The land is located behind Abacha barracks. It shares boundary with a large portion of land belonging to Nigerian Navy which is already cleared. The land in question falls in Nasarawa state but you would never know because it is just behind Mugadishu barracks(Abacha barracks) so if you build your house or estate there, people would say you are living within Asokoro axis. You wont be experiencing the nyanya hold-up. Hurry now and buy while it is still cheap. The price per plot is N600,000. This is the same way i advertised nasarawa side of karu when it was cheap and not yet well known, but today they are going for about N4.5m for a full plot, depending on location. The land can be presently accessed through nyanya-gbagalape axis pending when the Asokoro link road is finished. Which should be completednext year.

akandejames: Seriously, i would have loved to tackle your all questions in shaa Allah, all i mean and give you the befitting answers but for the following reasons:

1. Nairaland is not the appropriate forum or channel to handle this very sensitive issue for the sole purpose of properly re-educating you. No private chats, frequent derailment and each questions raised won't be dealt with properly in minutes if we are truly sincere about solution and not just argument...

2. Your tone and language suggests you really opened up the Qur'an to find errors and not really understand it. So no matter how many people put the right perspective to you, your mindset will remain the same. In Islam, Scholars are those in position to take on this kinds of issues and Muslims are encouraged to be either scholars, student of knowledge or seeker of truth via questioning but never to be an ignorant person. Given this premise, i could go all the way clipping videos of question and answer sessions of renowned scholars who have answered all these questions over and over again but would you even check them out?
You claimed no prophets were killed, wasn't Zachariah and John the baptist (Yahya...PBUT) murdered by the Jews? Wasn't the life of Jesus and Muhammad attempted by the Jews (according to islamic belief). These are just few cases and like i said you need to change you intention of studying the qur'an else talking to you is just a waste of time. it may not benefit you and time is money.

3. The Qur'an has made many claims and a peculiar one is It's originality and protection from CHANGE. Allah challenges those in doubt in Qur'an [17:88], [11:13] and [2:23]. It's still open till today and all we do is discredit Allah, the Messengers and their books. In the light of this, the Qur'an is the only book in the world memorized by millions of people word for word showing their collective belief and acceptance of it authenticity while the bible doesn't even come close. God doesn't confuse us, He is a God of orderliness, hence the uniformity and universality of Islam. Does the orderliness not amaze you or are just jealous of Islam? Note... Muslims are different from Islam. Islam is perfect, muslim's ain't so put the blames where they belong...

4. You claimed Qur'an copied the previous books? That's lame because all the books came from one Author, Allah.

[003:003] It is He Who has sent down the Book (the Qur'ân) to you (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) with truth, confirming what came before it. And He sent down the Taurât (Torah) and the Injîl (Gospel)

However, 4 books were given out. One to each of the Prophets David(Daud)- Zabur, Moses (Musa) - Tawrah, Jesus (Eesa) - Injeel and Muhammad (Al-Qur'an) (Peace be upon them). However, Tawrah was hidden and you were given Talmud so was Injeel hidden and you were given Bible. But because He loves us mankind, He deemed it fit to protect the Final Revelation despite the attempt to discredit it.

[015:009] Verily, We, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'ân) and surely We will guard it (from corruption)

In conclusion, i can't help you if you don't wanna help yourself by asking from those who really have the knowledge. If you really wan't answers and you are ready to seek the truth, contact me on akande.james1@gmail.com (no spamming and be decent in your tone/choice of words pls) and Allah knows best!....
I love your statement that muslims are not suppose to be ignorant but more than 80% muslims are ignorant of the content or never read the Quran and understand it.

Nevertheless to your respond to my post. First I never said no Jewish prophet was killed but I said; ( In any case, it is amazing that with all these repeated accusations, the author of the Qur'an did not consider it necessary to mention even one of those prophets by name. Who are those prophets which the Jews allegedly killed? Is it a case of hatred for thr Jews or is that of a false accussation or that of a lie. I need an answer.)

The Qur'an did not mention a single prophet that was killed by the Jews but yet it accused the Jews of killing many of their Prophets. Interestingly you could not give evidence from the Qur'an. The only Zechariah mentioned in the Qur'an was the father of John the Babtist. That means you have to rely on the Bible for your information, no problem. Let me inform you that Prophet Zechariah's death and who ordered is killing is recorded in the book of

''…21So they conspired against him and at the command of the king they stoned him to death in the court of the house of the LORD. 22Thus Joash the king did not remember the kindness which his father Jehoiada had shown him, but he murdered his son.'' And as he died he said, "May the LORD see and avenge!" (2chronicles chapter 24:21-22 ).

The King gave the order for him to be killed and secodly John the Babtist was murdered by King Herod on the request of Herodias ( when are daughter ask her what to request from the king). Who was King Herod http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/263437/Herod......Herod was born in southern Palestine. His father, Antipater, was an Edomite (an Arab from the region between the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba). Antipater was a man of great influence and wealth who increased both by marrying the daughter of a noble from Petra (in southwestern Jordan), at that time the capital of the rising Nabataean kingdom. Thus, Herod was, although a practicing Jew, of Arab origin on both sides.

Now to this statement you made or quoted
(However, 4 books were given out.

[015:009] Verily, We, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'ân) and surely We will guard it (from corruption) )

If your statement or quote from the Qur'an was correct that Tawrah and injeel were hidden and Qur'an was sent down why then was the prophet of Islam directed to meet the Christian or Jews who had received the revealed scriptures before the prophet of Islam as is written in the Qur'an:

So if you are in doubt, [O Muhammad], about that which We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters.

CONTINUATION OF MORE MISTAKES IN THE QURAN

5. Simple arithmetical error from the Islamic God.

Quran contains errors in mathematics, and erroneous mathematics in Quran refute the claimed divine authorship of the Quran.

Surah 4 of the Quran, which supposedly contains God's mathematics on dividing inheritance, is rife with errors. These erroneous mathematics in Quran are small enough to pass perfunctory inspection but significant in exposing the Quran's ungodly authorship.

Consider just 2 of the examples: (A) if a man is survived by his parents, wives and two daughters, Quran's mathematics require 113% of his estate to be divided; and, (B) if a man is survived by his mother, wives and two sisters, Quran requires 108% of his estate to be divided, as follows:

"Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females. But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two thirds of one's estate. And if there is only one, for her is half. And for one's parents, to each one of them is a sixth of his estate if he left children. But if he had no children and the parents [alone] inherit from him, then for his mother is one third. And if he had brothers [or sisters], for his mother is a sixth, after any bequest he [may have] made or debt. Your parents or your children - you know not which of them are nearest to you in benefit. [These shares are] an obligation [imposed] by Allah. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise. And for you is half of what your wives leave if they have no child. But if they have a child, for you is one fourth of what they leave, after any bequest they [may have] made or debt. And for the wives is one fourth if you leave no child. But if you leave a child, then for them is an eighth of what you leave, after any bequest you [may have] made or debt. And if a man or woman leaves neither ascendants nor descendants but has a brother or a sister, then for each one of them is a sixth. But if they are more than two, they share a third, after any bequest which was made or debt, as long as there is no detriment [caused]. [This is] an ordinance from Allah , and Allah is Knowing and Forbearing... They request from you a [legal] ruling. Say, " Allah gives you a ruling concerning one having neither descendants nor ascendants [as heirs]." If a man dies, leaving no child but [only] a sister, she will have half of what he left. And he inherits from her if she [dies and] has no child. But if there are two sisters [or more], they will have two-thirds of what he left. If there are both brothers and sisters, the male will have the share of two females. Allah makes clear to you [His law], lest you go astray. And Allah is Knowing of all things." - Quran 4:11,12,176

66.7% = 2/3 for daughters 16.7% = 1/6 for mother
33.3% = 2 x (1/6) for parents 25.0% = 1/4 for wives
12.5% = 1/8 for wives 66.7% = 2/3 for sisters
112.5% = total for case (A) 108.4% = total for case (B)

A god called Allah who can't add correctly to 100% would be hard pressed to create the universe.

6. How many Angels were talking to Mary?

There are (at least) two passages in the Qur'an relating the announciation of Jesus' birth to Mary.

Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah has chosen thee ...
Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah gives thee glad tidings ...
-- Sura 3:42 & 45

... then we sent to her Our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects.
She said: "I seek refuge from thee to (Allah) Most Gracious: (Come not near) If thou dost fear Allah."
-- Sura 19:17-18
.

How many angels came to Mary? In Sura 3, the Arabic uses the plural form, which means there were no less than three angels, but this could also mean that there were actually four, or a thousand, or a million etc.!
IN SURA3:42&45 ANGELS WERE SENT WHILE IN SURA 19:17-18 AN ANGEL WAS SENT TO MARY.

7.Does Allah's day equal to 1,000 (Sura 22:47, 32:5) or 50,000 years (Sura 70:4)?

Observe how similar 32:5 and 70:4 are worded "ascend unto him in a day the measure whereof is [fifty] thousand years [of your reckoning]."

Maybe it originally was "fifty thousand" in both and "fifty" dropped out in one place? A corrupted manuscript? Or does God just not know how to relate the length of his days to human years?

8.How many gardens are there in paradise?

ONE IN SURA: 39:73, 41:30 [the Garden], 57:21 [a Garden], 79:41 [the Garden],
OR
MANY AS IN SURA: 18:31, 22:23, 35:33, 78:32 [each time: "Gardens"]?

The plural "Gardens" has to refer to at least three because if it/they were two, then the Arabic would use the dual form of the noun. Therefore this is a discrepancy of at least 200% from "one" to "several".

9.There are conflicting views on who takes the souls at death.

Sura 32:11 reads "Say: THE Angel of Death, put in charge over you, will (duly) take your souls. Then shall ye be brought back to your Lord", [/i]i.e. on specific angel is in view.
[i]Sura 47:27 says "But how (will it be) when THE angels take their souls at death?", [/i]which again presupposes their specific identity and a greater number than one.
But then Sura 39:42 doesn't speak of angels anymore at all: [i]"It is Allah that takes the souls (of men) at death."

10. HOW MANY MESSENGERS WERE SENT TO PHAROAH?

Sura 73:15-16 says that one messenger was sent to Pharaoh, while Sura 10:75 speaks of two (Moses and Aaron).

73:15 only says "a" (not a stress on "one"wink messenger, but the comparison of this messenger to Muhammad, who is sent just in the same way makes a strong point for the "one", since Muhammad undoubtedly was only one in his time. And verse 16 affirms this by saying "the" messenger.

Also 7:103 also speakes only of sending Moses.

11. HOW MANY WINGS DOES ANGELS HAVE?

35:1
Praise be to Allah, Who created (out of nothing) the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels, messengers with wings,- two, or three, or four (pairs): He adds to Creation as He pleases: for Allah has power over all things.
According to Sura 35:1 angels have 2, 3, or 4 pairs of wings. This is contradicted by several hadith which state that Gabriel had 600 wings. Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 455:

Narrated Abu Ishaq-Ash-Shaibani:
I asked Zir bin Hubaish regarding the Statement of Allah: "And was at a distance Of but two bow-lengths Or (even) nearer; So did (Allah) convey The Inspiration to His slave (Gabriel) and then he (Gabriel) Conveyed (that to Muhammad). (53.9-10) On that, Zir said, "Ibn Mas'ud informed us that the Prophet had seen Gabriel having 600 wings."

LET ME STOP HERE FOR NOW. IS THE QURAN A PERFECT BOOK? THE ANSWER IS YOURS TO ANSWER. I WOULD COME BACK AGAIN WITH MORE FACTS ABOUT THE QURAN
Christianity EtcRe: Problems With Biblical Inerrancy by myproperty(m): 2:19am On Aug 04, 2014
some muslims on this site called the quran a perfect book and they say the Bible is full of errors, some even asked that errors should be pointed outin the Quran. i would point some out but before i do that i want to say something about the origin of the bible and Quran
1. The Bible said it was written by men through the inspiration of the Holy spirit . biblical accounts where written by different individuals. The Bible did not lie about the authors.
1b. The Quran said it came from God and the muslims says it does not contain errors. They claim it is a perfect book.
My conclusion is that anything that comes directly from God would be perfect and if there are contradiction and falsehood in such a book it did not come direct from God. the bible maybe excused from this because it had made in clear that man is the medium of whivh the Bible came to be and some portion talked about what some individuals actually did.
Over 90% Muslims canot talk about the Quran because they canot read it not to talk about what is in the Quran.

IS THE QURAN DIRECTLY FROM GOD OR IS IT A PERFECT BOOK?

1. The quran claims the jews kill their prophets. which prophets did the jews kill since the Quran claims that Jesus Christ was not killed.

Indignity is put over them wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allah, and from men; they have drawn on themselves the Wrath of Allah, and destruction is put over them. This is because they disbelieved in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they disobeyed (Allah) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allah's disobedience, crimes and sins). S. 3:112

Indeed, Allah has heard the statement of those (Jews) who say: "Truly, Allah is poor and we are rich!" We shall record what they have said and their killing of the Prophets unjustly, and We shall say: "Taste you the torment of the burning (Fire)." S. 3:181

In any case, it is amazing that with all these repeated accusations, the author of the Qur'an did not consider it necessary to mention even one of those prophets by name. Who are those prophets which the Jews allegedly killed? Is it a case of hatred for thr Jews or is that of a false accussation or that of a lie. I need an answer.

2.Who was the first Muslim according to the quran.
The Prophet of Islam said he is the 1st Muslem:
He hath no associate. This am I commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims. S. 6:163

Say (O Muhammad): Lo! I am commanded to worship Allah, making religion pure for Him (only). And I am commanded to be the first of those who are muslims (surrender unto Him). S. 39:11-12
[/i]

Abraham,Ishmael,Jacob and Jesus Christ lived and died many years before the Prophet of Islam. Infact Abraham,Ishmael and Jacob lived more than 2000years before the prophet of islam and the Quran claims they were also muslims and yet still claims that the prophet of Islam is the first Muslim.

[i]And when Ibrahim and Ismail raised the foundations of the House: Our Lord! accept from us; surely Thou art the Hearing, the Knowing: Our Lord! and make us both submissive (muslimayni) to Thee and (raise) from our offspring a nation submitting (ommatan muslimatan) to Thee, and show us our ways of devotion and turn to us (mercifully), surely Thou art the Oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful. Our Lord! and raise up in them an Apostle from among them who shall recite to them Thy communications and teach them the Book and the wisdom, and purify them; surely Thou art the Mighty, the Wise. And who forsakes the religion of Ibrahim but he who makes himself a fool, and most certainly We chose him in this world, and in the hereafter he is most surely among the righteous. When his Lord said to him, Be a Muslim (aslim), he said: I submit myself (aslamtu) to the Lord of the worlds. And the same did Ibrahim enjoin on his sons and (so did) Yaqoub. O my sons! surely Allah has chosen for you (this) faith, therefore die not unless you are Muslims (illa waantum muslimoona). Nay! were you witnesses when death visited Yaqoub, when he said to his sons: What will you serve after me? They said: We will serve your God and the God of your fathers, Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq, one God only, and to Him do we submit (wanahnu lahu muslimoona). S. 2:127-133 Shakir

When Jesus found Unbelief on their part He said: "Who will be My helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples: "We are Allah's helpers: We believe in Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims. S. 3:52

what is really happening in the Quran? But we know that Islam came about 800years after christianity, how come the Quranic claims? May God help us.

3.Allah, Adam and the Angels.
The Quran has a lot to say about the relation between Allah, Adam, the angels and Satan. In fact, some of what the Quran says regarding these persons or entities raises a series of questions and comments.

And when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to place a viceroy (khaleefatan) in the earth, they said: Wilt thou place therein one who will do harm therein and will shed blood, while we, we hymn Thy praise and sanctify Thee? He said: Surely I know that which ye know not. And He taught Adam all the names, then showed them to the angels, saying: Inform Me of the names of these, if ye are truthful. They said: Be glorified! We have no knowledge saving that which Thou hast taught us. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Knower, the Wise. He said: O Adam! Inform them of their names, and when he had informed them of their names, He said: Did I not tell you that I know the secret of the heavens and the earth? And I know that which ye disclose and which ye hide. And when We said unto the angels: Prostrate yourselves before Adam, they fell prostrate, all save Iblis. He demurred through pride, and so became a disbeliever. And We said: O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and eat ye freely (of the fruits) thereof where ye will; but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrong-doers. But Satan caused them to deflect therefrom and expelled them from the (happy) state in which they were; and We said: Fall down, one of you a foe unto the other! There shall be for you on earth a habitation and provision for a time. Then Adam received from his Lord words (of revelation), and He relented toward him. Lo! He is the relenting, the Merciful. We said: Go down, all of you, from hence; but verily there cometh unto you from Me a guidance; and whoso followeth My guidance, there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve. S. 2:30-38

The above passage brings up several questions. First, how did the angels know what the condition of man would be prior to his creation? Where did they get the idea that man would be a violent creature? Who told them? The text doesn’t say anything about Allah giving them this piece of information. Are angels omniscient?

Secondly, Allah secretly teaches Adam unspecified names in order to silence the angels for complaining against man. Was it not unfair for Allah to teach Adam these names and then proceed to challenge the angels to do likewise? Does Allah have to use deception and lies in order to vindicate himself against the charges brought against Adam by the angels (charges which turned out to be correct)? Is it not obvious that Adam would have been just as ignorant as the angels were regarding these things had it not been for Allah teaching him? What kind of vindication is this seeing that Adam only knew of these names because Allah taught him, whereas the angels were ignorant because Allah hadn't taught them these things?

And how does the naming of things justify the creation of man despite all the evil and violence he will commit? After all, if there is a superior value in humans that justifies their creation, despite their violent and sinful behavior, then it should be stated in a clear way instead of using deceptive tricks that hardly show the superiority of humans. Allah could have taught those names to anyone. This act of teaching man to name all things does not provide a sufficient reason at all why humans should be created despite the fact that they will shed blood. Allah could have simply taught those names to the angels, and then somebody would know them (if that was the objective), without there being bloodshed. So what is the point of the story, really?

Thirdly, after using deception to silence the angels Allah then proceeds to command the angels to worship the man. This command to worship was obviously the result of the man having bested them by naming the things which Allah had personally taught him. We therefore need to ask, why make angels worship Adam for being able to name things that they couldn't when the man only knew these names as a result of Allah having taught them to him? And why is Allah commanding them to bow down to Adam, a creature, when it is absolutely forbidden to do so in Islam? If it is argued that the prostration signified respect and not worship then why are such acts of respect forbidden in Islam today? It is obvious that Allah, unlike the true God of the Holy Bible, is always changing his mind and commands as time goes by.

Fourth, Iblis or Satan is blamed for not worshiping Adam even though the command was given to angels. According to the Quran, Iblis isn't an angel, but rather he is said to be a jinn:

And when We said to the angels, 'Bow yourselves to Adam'; so they bowed themselves, save Iblis; he was one of the jinn, and committed ungodliness against his Lord's command. What, and do you take him and his seed to be your friends, apart from Me, and they an enemy to you? How evil is that exchange for the evildoers! S. 18:50

4.Heaven or Earth, which was created first?

He it is Who hath created for you all that is on earth.
Then He turned to the heaven, and made them into seven heavens. -- Sura 2:29
Sura 41:9-12 also gives details on the creation process and confirms that the earth was created first and then the heavens.
But then we read also:

Are you the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built?
He raised the height thereof and ordered it;
and He has made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof.
And after that, He spread out the earth. -- Sura 79:27-30

here it claims the heaven was created first after then the earth.

THIS IS THE FIRST PART , I WOULD COME BACK FOR MORE, I HAVE OVER 100 POINTS TO SHOW IN THE QURAN.
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER NOT TO HAVE ATTACKED THE BIBLE AND SHOULD HAVE HAD RESPECT FOR OTHER PEOPLES BELIEVE.

If these war actually happens. There would be a lot of alliances. I believe the middlebelt would not want to go with the hausa-fulani( the sentiments against the hausa -fulani is damn too high in the north than even in the south). in the event of the said war, after alliances the middle belt and the southern part of nigeria may stand together as a country. remember a Tiv man by name Major Gideon Orkar wanted to do that in a failed coup attempt. The yorubas, Igbos, south-south and middle belt including southern kaduna may form a united country .The christian dominated tribe in the north would definately want alliance with the south and the south would also need them because of economic reasons(agriculture). If I have my way the hausa-fulani should be a country and other part of Nigeria made another country.
Every other tribe in Nigeria thinks and acts like Nigerians except the Hausa-fulani. Every other tribe want peace and are accomodating and can tolerate others culture and religion even if his brother is of other religion.

What a progressive and peaceful nation this country would be without the hausa-fulani.
This is purely my belief and my wish. it may never come to pass because thoughts are different from realities expecially what an individual can not influence.

Sometime ago I wrote about the opportunities of getting cheap land in karshi and some people took advantage of that and they are very happy. Karshi is still one of the very few places to invest your money with good advantages.

The location of Karshi today looks un-attractive because it is located after Orozo. Orozo is after kurudu. But what makes Karshi to be an investment heaven is because a soon to be completed road that links Karshi to Apo would soon be completed( and a road that links Karshi to Abaji is equally ungoing). Apo is located within the city center. It would take about 10 to 15minutes drive from karshi to Apo.

Karshi in itself is divided into two, we have the Karshi-Abuja and Karshi-Nasarawa. The two karshi is seperated by a road known as bypass. The Abuja-Karshi is on the right of the bypass while the Nasarawa-Karshi is on the left when approaching from karu-jikwoyi-kurudu express road. The Abuja part of Karshi have FHA and El-Rufai estate , many streets in karshi -abuja are tarred, but that of Karshi-Nasarawa are not tarred. They have a good supply of electricity. Karshi-Abuja land are more expensive than Karshi-Nasarawa land. The cheap plots in Karshi Abuja are mostly located on a hilly terrain, while that of Nasarawa are on more of a fair table terrain. There are much more land in hectares and single plots in Nasarawa but little or no hectares of land in Karsi-Abuja but indiviual plots ranging from 450sqm to 800sqm are available( FCDA ALLOCATED PLOTS).

PRICES:
