what south ? please. only a fraction of the south is developed. and the reason the north is less developed is because it is a very punishing environment. its damn near desert conditions. very hot and arid and the soil is not that great. we in the south are in coastal cities and are expected to be more developed. the land is fertile, we are on the coast meaning all the sea ports are in the south. so dont think the north is not developed because of corruption alone. the place is a desert. if southerners lived in the north they will be worse than the northerners in the north. so it is geographical
thank you for using the term why the north is less developed than the south it shows that you actually agree even with your wrong analogy that the south is more developed than the north.
I gave you facts by mentioning super corrupt northern leaders, all you could say was to dignify corruption made by northerners.

The actual reason the north is far far less developed than the south is because of the corrupt nature of northern politicians not because of the environment as you said.I do not understand what a northerner means by development, but I do know that development in the south is all encompassing. Now you mentioned environment: The cost of making a one kilometer road in the south is about four times the cost of making the same one kilometer in the north. The north does not experience chronic erosion, the north knows nothing about a swampy terrain nor do they know the effect of flooding which is more of a daily occurrence during rainy season in the south, the north knows nothing about oceans overflowing its bound. what natural disaster is the north prone to, if not a once in a blue moon disaster or do you an unimaginable level of diseases, illiteracy and poverty in the north as natural disaster?

In case you don't know, a Nigeria without the core north would have prospered and developed more than this, what the core north had succeeded in doing is to take Nigeria 30years backward. If one have to list the names of corrupt leaders in this country 90% would be from the north. the southerners are not a lazy lot, that is why the poorest state in southern Nigeria have a better human capital than the most developed state in the north .

If southerners live in the north has you said the north would never be a negative reference point as it is today, it would not be a factory where beggars are manufactured because they have very fertile and very large land for agriculture. note that agriculture empowers the individual while natural resources empowers the nation as a whole.
The north is a total failure in terms of any developmental indices primarily because they poccess selfish and very corrupt leaders that believe in the rankadede stile of life.

In conclusion there is no dignity in criminals, stop dignifying your criminals

and even in being crooks those northern men still hold onto some form of dignity. there are crooks on both sides but there is dignity on one side. now from that one side with dignity if we can get a righteous citizen, nigeria will prosper again. now lets examine the northern crooks you have named. abacha, a crook, yes, but a strong principled man with dignity. the man commands respect. his only downside is he is a thief. his children are dignified too. you dont see them in the news flashing or flosssing. so thats his discipline that exudes from his children. only thing is he is a thief

IBB ? a thief. but the man is a man of dignity and commands respect. you will never see him on his bed on twitter or flashing his cars. in fact nobody hears about the man again. very private citizen. and his children are dignified. you dont see them up and down on news media

abdusalam, a man of dignity and an elder statesman. his only downside ? he is a thief

now southern politicians are thieves and have no dignity. so it is fair to say one side has dignity and the other does not. so lets look for the uncorrupted from the side with dignity and hence we have buhari today. dignified righteous man.
That is why the north can never develope more than the South if people like you can find dignity in stealing just like majority of northerners.
We in the South understand the meaning of development with or without the federal government.
Check this out: human development is high in the South, education is high in the South, civilisation is high in the South, standard of living is better in the South. Go about and dignify criminals

brah, there are thieves on both sides. however for this country to be brought back into dignity, we need a distinguished non-corrupt northerner. you can find many of those. can you find a distinguished non-corrupt southerner ? its like finding a needle in the haystack. its impossible to find. southerners are useless for the most part. its the truth. question is, can you handle the truth ?
Really! I never knew that the man who made corruption official in Nigeria named IBB was a southerner, I never knew that Abacha whose loot is still being recovered is a southerner, I never knew that Abdulsalam who spent few months without one single project yet left an empty treasury was a southerner, I never knew that Umaru DIKKO was a southerner, I never knew that the best administrators during the regional government was from the north which is evident in development ,poverty and in imaginable rate ,degree and types of sicknesses. I never knew that a people stuck with hatred, murder and cursed-like under development is the yardstick of being a better administrators. I think they spoil Nigeria and are better crooks than the southerners in governance

kimond101:
Before addressing he question I'll first congratulate your fiancee for receiving guidance to the right path.

A little Islamic fundamentals for you:
A muslim is one who worships God alone without associating partners in worship with him.
Now what is the religion of Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Joseph, David since they all came before Christ. The answer is Islam(People who submit to God without associating partners in worship with him).
Jesus Christ the Messiah, Son of Mary is a blessed prophet and messenger of God. His creation is a display of God greatness.
God created Adam from nothing(Clay), Eve from Adam (man), Jesus from Mary (woman), and you and I from our parents (Man and Woman). This indicates that God is indeed able to do all things.
Abraham was sent as a messenger, same was Noah, Moses, David, Jesus, and Mohammed. And we're given scriptures as a guidance to their people. Jesus Christ was given the gospel as a guidance for the people of Isreal. And whoever doesn't follow his guidance would not be successful in the hereafter. The guidance of the gospel as revealed to Jesus is the true guidance. But with all due respect man has added some words into the Bibles we have today. But the pure scripture that God revealed to Jesus indicates Jesus saying:
My Father is greater than I. Jesus never called himself God in the bible.
Back to the question would muslims enter paradise. Yes they would by the Grace of God. But only those who are obedient to the commandments of God and do not take partners with God and believe in all the books revealed to all the messengers, believe in the angels, preordainment and seek forgiveness from God with sincerity hoping for the best in this life and the hereafter

Now to the question :
Inter religious marriage could be very hard. From Islamic perspective I'll advice that you marry someone who share the same believe as you do. Because when it comes to praying together and raising children problems would develop.
Islam believes if you ascribe partners with God you wouldn't make paradise and Christianity believe if you don't accept that Jesus died for your sins you wouldn't make paradise. The love between couples should extend to the hereafter. So husband and wife with same believe would have faith in attaining the paradise that they aspire.
But I'll advice you learn about islam who knows you might be the next revert.
Should Religion be based on falsehood?
Who told you that the religion of Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Joseph, David is Islam because according to you they all came before Christ, whereas Islam came more than 600years after Christianity and you still associate them to Islam, what would those that practice Judaism say. You forgot to mention Ishmael as a prophet in Islam, a man who have no prophetic record.
Is it really guidance to the right path? BEWARE the path that seemeth right might lead you to destruction .

To the topic:
There is no association between light and darkness, there is no correlation between peace and violence.
The Scripture says ...........fellowship with the brethren.

Some people say Saraki is over-ambitious. How many times did Buhari contest for the post of the President, How many times did Atiku contest for the post of the President, so among the three northerners, who is over-ambitiious among them.

Saraki had only shown his party that he is not a dullard, the party depended on only their members but Saraki depended on Senators( APC and PDP) that would vote, Saraki new that the Clerk of the National Assembly had not postponed the election while the APC believed they can call the bluff of the rules of the National Assembly.
APC should thank God that not all of their senators went for that meeting, they would have seen a PDP senator as the senate president, in which they can't impeach because they would not be able to have the needed 2/3 needed.

What APC had to do now to save their face is to lobby not to be autocratic

In case you missed it, there will be one media office under the presidency, individuals will have separate roles. The President and the Vice are both termed as the Presidency. The Presidency and the Cabinet are together called the Executive.

Get it right, im not pleased using my precious time to teach you basic stuffs.
You have no basic stuffs to teach anybody. If you had actually read it, the statement says "President Muhammadu Buhari is set to name a former North American Bureau Chief of The Guardian, Laolu Akande, as a Senior Special Assistant to lead the media and communication unit in the office of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo" and another portion says

PREMIUM TIMES learnt that under the present arrangement in the presidency, there would be only one presidential media and communication office but that individual appointees would be given separate responsibilities.

The fact is Buhari is appointing somebody to lead the media and communication team in the office of the vice president which is wrong. The term presidency as nothing to do with appointments, the statement did not say that the SSA for media and communication appointed for the VP would be in charge of media and communication in the presidency . It only say that there would be one presidential media and communication office, which means that whatever comes from the VP and President office must be sanctioned or harmonized by that office so that statements from the president and his aids and that of the VP would be same.

The issue is, is it right for the president to make appointment for his VP? How would the VP relate with the person appointed, won't he be suspecting every move of that guy?
Come to thing of it the president appointed Shehu Garba and Femi Adeshina as his media aids, are they going to be redundant? No, they are working directly with the president on media issues and Laolu Akande the president is appointing for the VP would work directly with the VP. Would he be loyal to the VP or to the President?
What is wrong is wrong, I hope he would not do such appointment

PoliticsConflicts At The Root Of Poverty In Nigeria - Al-makura by myproperty(op): 3:51pm On Jun 01, 2015
By Adams Abonu in Lafia

Governor Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State has identified violent conflicts as being behind the pervading poverty in the country.

He explained that this was so because state resources that would have been channelled to other socio-economic purposes are diverted to addressing conflicts.

Al-Makura who stated this on Monday in Lafia however assured that alleviating the prevailing rate of poverty among Nigerians “is a non-negotiable task”which must be approached with tact and seriousness.

He said Nigerians have been under the burden of poverty for too long that national confidence in government’s capacity to ameliorate their hardship is at the lowest ebb.

The prevalent cynicism among Nigerians about governance, according to the governor, was a direct fallout of the hard socio-economic conditions the people have to grapple with.

“Poverty alleviation is neither an act of charity, nor something that could be dealt with swiftly. But it can be done if all concerned make the right choices and put in required effort,” he said in a statement signed by him and made available to journalists.

PoliticsBayelsa Community Shuts Down Agip's Oil Wells by myproperty(op): 3:42pm On Jun 01, 2015
The people of Egbebiri Community in Biseni, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State have shut down six oil wells operated by Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC), alleging neglect of its Cooperate Social Responsibilities.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the aggrieved residents, comprising youths and women, blocked all access roads leading to the affected oil wells with logs.

The paramount ruler of Egbebiri, Chief Aniedima Nicholas, told NAN that they disrupted the oil production because of NAOC refusal to renew the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the community.

Nicholas said the maiden MoU signed in 2001 lapsed in 2005, but efforts to get the oil firm to renew the MoU proved abortive.

"Our grievances are due to the insensitive posture of Agip to our developmental aspirations.

"Our needs and expectations are captured in that agreement and if you look at the few amenities we have here, they are products of the first MoU.

"From 2005 till date, Agip abdicated its role and that stagnated development here; the road you see was from that MoU, we have waited for so long a time and decided to take this final step.

"We are prepared to go to every length to bring them to the negotiation table to renew the MoU as well as pay outstanding liabilities for jobs done by the community for more than one year.

"Our surveillance jobs on their pipelines have continued despite heavy debts owed to us as well as pending compensation for oil spills since 2010," Nicholas said.

The Chairman, Ijaw Youths Council in Egbebiri, Mr John Aniedima, said the youths have sacked security operatives deployed to safeguard the facilities after shutting down the flow of oil.

"We have taken over the wells to compel Agip to come to a negotiating table with community leaders.

SportsNigeria Super Falcons Demolish Canadian Club 9-0 by myproperty(op): 9:38pm On May 31, 2015
The Super Falcons and Washington Spirit forward, Francisca Ordega, scored a hat trick in a 9-0 thriller the Falcons played against Canadian club, Woodbridge Ladies, in a friendly game.

Other goal scorers include Asisat Oshola (brace) and Ngozi Okobi, who scored the opener in the fourth minute.

An obviously delighted coach of the team, Edwin Okon, showed his appreciation towards his girls after the match.

“It was a very good game today. Though we won by a massive margin, I was very impressed with the team’s coordination in all departments,” he told the media after the match.

“This does not mean we won’t still correct a few lapses here and there but I can see the team preparing well for the tournament proper.

Speaking further, the coach said they will not get distracted by the number of goals but will instead continue working hard to achieve their world cup target.

“I’m glad we scored many goals because we need a strong firepower upfront to achieve our dream which is to lift the trophy of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. We will continue to work hard until we achieve this.”

The Nigerian women are drawn in Group D of the FIFA Women’s World Cup alongside USA, Sweden and Australia. The tournament kicks off in Canada on June 6

PoliticsNigeria: Can Buhari Fix Nigeria? by myproperty(op): 1:21pm On May 31, 2015
Muhammadu Buhari, the new president of Nigeria, is starting from point zero. The country has all but come to a sudden halt.

Schools, hospitals and the civil service have closed down. Shops have run out of goods. The street markets are empty. Most will not see the inauguration of the new President on TV. Much of Nigeria has been switched off.

The cause lies at the heart of Nigeria's failure: the oil management mafia. A small number of wealthy Nigerians and a few outsiders control the country's energy supply. They are military, civil servants, foreign oil companies, politicians or combinations of all them.

Their mafias even have names: the Major Marketers Association of Nigeria, the Depot and Petroleum Marketers and the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria.

For years these mobsters - and complicit politicians - have prevented Nigeria having its own oil refinery, making billions importing fuel and receiving a subsidy so that Nigerians can have cheap fuel (much of it is smuggled to neighbouring countries thereby messing up the economies of the region and depriving Nigerians of the real value of their oil).

The oil bosses are now on strike, refusing to import fuel until the government gives them 200 billion Naira - about £6.5 billion. The government is offering 159 billion Naira. Until then Nigeria is halted. Will the lights and mics be on for the re-inauguration of Muhammadu Buhari? They may be in Abuja but will Nigerians elsewhere be able to watch it on TV?

I know they say that today's Buhari is a very different man to the tough disciplined soldier who overthrew an elected but corrupt government in 1983. Then he had corrupt officials locked up and criminals shot on Bar Beach in Lagos.

It was a scary time for Nigerians but most now admit they got up an hour earlier and made sure they were "on seat" on time. The streets of Lagos and other cities were suddenly clean and tidy when he ordered Saturday morning clean ups.

Buhari saw the epitome of the corruption of the previous regime to be the Minister of Transport, Umaru Dikko. He fled Nigeria and came to Britain.

At that time an Israeli company was building the Nicon Noga Hilton in Abuja and, as part of that deal, Buhari employed Mossad operatives to find and kidnap Dikko and bring him to justice in Nigeria. In July 1984 the Isrealis found Dikko in London and grabbed him outside his house in Bayswater. They bundled him in to a van, drugged him and put him in a crate accompanied by a doctor. The van drove to Stansted Airport. But police had been alerted and when the crate arrived Dikko was rescued and four Israelis and a Nigerian major were arrested and jailed.

A part of me wishes the old Buhari would re-emerge - just for a couple of weeks. Countrywide swoops could net the Big Men and what might fall out of their pockets if they were turned upside down could replenish the state coffers. If he had a few tried and shot on Bar Beach I would not wave a protest banner outside the Nigerian High Commission. The rape of a rich country which has one of the highest infant death rates in the world - 74 per thousand - is no small crime.

But there is no sign that President Buhari will do anything dramatic. He has had a lifetime to prepare for this job and he has gathered good people around him. His second coming to power in a peaceful and properly conducted election promises clean and better governance. But first he needs to change the prevalent mood of cynical selfishness in Nigeria. It is the opposite of the optimism and communalism that I find abounds in most of the rest of Africa.

So what does Buhari need to do? The immediate priority is energy for the economy. This is essential if the country is not to be held to ransom by the crooks. He must build - or rebuild - the oil refineries, regulate the energy sector and bring in investment and good management. But with the oil price hitting new lows, this is the perfect time to restructure the industry and look elsewhere for alternative energy sources for wealth creation.

Buhari's vision must be a big one to inspire Nigeria's billion people - two billion in 2050. A former general, a Muslim from the north, he has a reputation for simplicity of lifestyle and a straightforward management style. National confidence will help people invest and create jobs for a fair and prosperous future. He should be able to reinvigorate the army, demoralised by years of neglect, and working with Cameroon and Niger, destroy Boko Haram in north-eastern Nigeria.

First, he must reunite Nigeria. The North South divide has never been wider - not least because of the upsurge in militancy from Boko Haram. Nigeria has been steadily devolved in recent years, which is a good thing, but the centre must still hold so that no region is neglected and marginalised - a major cause of ethic and religious tensions.

Second, inspire Nigerians to be proud of their country and less cynical and selfish. I called the Nigeria chapter in my book 'Look Out World' because if it got its act together it could change West Africa, Africa and the world. As the biggest economy in Africa it can transform the rest of West Africa through trade.

Third, he must bring good investment and development to Nigeria - potentially one of the richest countries in the world. Nigeria has it all, extensive underused fertile land, almost every mineral known to man under its soil, easy physical access to markets east and west. Above all it has a dynamic, energetic young population hungry for a future. That means investing hugely in education, health and job creation.

Fourth, he must take the lead in the continent. When Thabo Mbeki ruled South Africa and Olusegun Obasanjo lwas president of Nigeria they were continent-wide leaders and could make stuff happen anywhere in Africa. Today the continent has no continent-wide leaders. Buhari has the opportunity to step forward into at least a region and hopefully a continent-wide role.

The prize of success is clear for all to see. So is the route. An African friend once (deliberately) misquoted Barak Obama to me: "Yes we can. But we don't". Buhari might also change that slogan: "Yes we can - and we will."

Richard Dowden is Director of the Royal African Society.

A former United States of America’s Ambassador to Nigeria, John Campbell, has declared that the war against Boko Haram insurgents remains a major challenge for the new government of President Muhammad Buhari.

According to Campbell, the country’s security and economic challenges will take a long time to be addressed.

He said: “Nigeria’s challenges are great: Boko Haram and a huge population of internally displaced, a potential renewal of an insurrection in the oil patch, ubiquitous corruption, falling oil prices, labour unrest, and generally, a people by and large alienated from their government and their elites.

“President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed for patience from the Nigerian people. It remains to be seen whether they will give it to him. Nigeria’s challenges will be there tomorrow and for long after.”

PoliticsHow Central Bank Officials Defrauded Nigeria Of N8 Billion – EFCC by myproperty(op): 12:42pm On May 31, 2015
Top officials of the Nigeria Central Bank, CBN, colluded with officials of private banks to defraud the country of about N8 billion, an anti-graft agency has said.

The EFCC said on Sunday that it is ready to prosecute Patience Okoro Eye, Afolabi Olufemi, Kolawole Babalola, Olaniran Muniru Adeola, Fatai Yusuf Adekunle, and Ilori Adekunle Sunday, all top officials of the Central Bank from various states, after concluding its investigations.

Officials of private banks who colluded with the Central Bank officials will also be prosecuted, the EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, stated in a statement.

The scam involved the “theft and recirculation of defaced and mutilated currencies,” the anti-graft agency stated. The officials are set to be arraigned on Tuesday.

Read the full statement below:

EFCC To Arraign Six CBN Big Wigs,16 Others for N8billion Currency Fraud June 2

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC has concluded arrangement to arraign in court, five top executives of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, implicated in a mega scam involving the theft and recirculation of defaced and mutilated currencies.

The suspects drawn from various business units of the apex bank are to be docked by the anti-graft agency before a Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan, Oyo State, from Tuesday June 2, 2015 to Thursday June 4, 2015.

They include Patience Okoro Eye( Abuja) , Afolabi Olufemi( Lagos), Kolawole Babalola (Ibadan), Olaniran Muniru Adeola (Ibadan), Fatai Yusuf, Adekunle (Head, Security, CBN, (Ibadan) and Ilori Adekunle Sunday,(Akure).

The remaining sixteen suspects are drawn from various commercial banks who were found to have conspired with the CBN executives to swing the heist.

All the suspects who are currently in the custody of the EFCC are now ruing the day they literally allowed greed and craze for materialism to be loud their sense of judgement and responsibility, when they elected to help themselves to tones of defaced Naira notes. Instead of carrying out the statutory instruction to destroy the currency, they substituted it with newspapers neatly cut to Naira sizes and proceeded to recycle the defaced and mutilated currency.

The fraud is partly to blame for the failure of government monetary policy over the years as currency mop up exercises by the apex bank failed to check the inflationary pressure on the economy.

The lid on the scam which is widely suspected to have gone on unchecked for years, was blown on November 3, 2014 via a petition to the EFCC alleging that over N6, 575, 549, 370.00( Six Billion, Five Hundred and Seventy-Five Million, Five-Hundred and Forty-Nine Thousand, Three Hundred and Seventy Naira) was cornered and discreetly recycled by light fingered top executives of the CBN at the Ibadan branch.

The suspects, who were members of the Briquetting Panel, plotted their way to infamy on September 8, 2014, while carrying out a Briquetting exercise at the CBN Branch, Ibadan.

In banking parlance, Briquetting is disintegration and destruction of counted and audited dirty notes. By this practice, depositor banks usually take mutilated notes to the CBN in exchange for fresh notes equivalent of the amount deposited.

The depositor banks in this instance are Zenith Bank, FCMB, Wema Bank, Access Bank, First Bank, Skye Bank, Ecobank and Sterling Bank.

But while carrying out the assignment, the team were alleged to have found one of the currency boxes filled only with old newspapers rather than 20 bundles of N1000 notes.

A similar case, according to investigation, had been discovered on September 22, 2014 when a box that was supposed to contain N500 notes to the tune of N5billion was filled with old newspapers.

Unlike in the past, this fraud could not be swept under the carpet, as a member of the Briquetting Panel from the Osogbo branch blew the lid on the illicit deal. In a statement, the informant stated that the exercise was designed to last between August 4 and 8, 2014.

The 35-year-old, however, stated that she discovered a strange ‘sight’ while opening the third box on the second day of the exercise. It was a discovery that beat her ken.
She added that she confronted the other members of the panel, including Eye, Head, Briquetting Panel; Treasury Assistant; Coordinator and Head, Security, CBN, Ibadan, who all assured her that they would look into it. But she later found out that it was all a ruse. She said she later found out that Eye not only maintained sealed lips over the matter but omitted it from her report.

A five-count charge awaits the suspects as they prepare to face the wrath of the law.

Good
the probe should be one sided abi? what about money based presidential primaries of the APC, what about the Obas' in the yoruba land, the chiefs' in south east and south south and the Emirs' in the north that GEJ visited during campaign.

What about the Governor that did two boreholes for N193m and owes the highest debt. what about the Governor that co-finance APC with state money and yet still owes salary and what about the Czar of bourdillon.

If a genuine probe is to be carried out who do you think would be clean amongst PDP and APC, or among all the Governors of both parties, or among religious leaders that must have tested political office or have dealings with any tier of government.

Please lets pray that the president succeeds. If he fails it affects all of us, whether you like him or not.

This guy is so intelligent. Fash baba

Backing it up with facts and figures, laying it bare, even a layman would understand his explanation.
Why is it always difficult for us to say the truth no matter who we are supporting. Why would someone praise a Governor who borrowed N139,000,000 to sink just two boreholes, if it was done by a Governor you don't like what would you say?

quite interesting. Any accusation against an APC member is referred to by you as just claims. I am sure if it is another party you would curse and abuse.

Any way it is naija for you , the party you support are saints while the ones you don't support are evil

what is happening in this country, how can a Governor construct just two boreholes for N139,000,000 and people are praising him.
May God help us

mumu. according to Yale, Stephan Schmidheiny, who was found guilty in 2012 of creating an asbestos environmental disaster which caused about 2,000 deaths in Italy didn't get his award revoked so, maybe Yale really didn't care abt humanity.

but on a nicer mood, if you think Yorubas lost, then I will say at least, e no reach that kind failure wey Biafra found itself in.
A yoruba man starting what some think is wrong does not make it the stand of the yoruba's. but surprisingly some have even called her evil and I wish to know what offense did she commit bearing in mind that we once had a minister of finance during the era of evil genius called Olu Falae an era that had the worse financial recklessness in Nigeria and introduced the draconian SAP and yet brought disaster and launched Nigeria to the world of corruption. This same woman was made a minister by OBJ. The world bank recognized her intelligence then Yale university . Between NOI and Olu Falae who is better and widely recognized? Olu Falae with his falure as minister of finance was widely supported by his kins to become president?

Partly right and partly wrong you are.

Right in the sense that most of our governors are not interested in developing innovative economies. Only Lagos appears to be generating most of its revenue...the rest just wait for the oil money to drop from the trees of sustenance.

Wrong in the sense that PDP ruling economics has not been favorable to the development of a true industrial economy....which is why our installed capacity of electricity can only provide half our needs. No electricity=no industry=no jobs= no tax revenues especially from local and foreign investors.
I thought the issue is about unpaid salaries? States depending on federal allocation which reduces with reduction in price of crude oil

What will these people gain from the betrayal

To all Yorubas I tell you again, the SE Remains our number one enemy in Nigeria

If these people were pushing for one of their own like the SW, I would have understand.

But here, they want a fulani man instead of a lagosian.
And there people are here in lagos doing business and we have never killed them, but they fear and prefer a fulani hausa that kills them in zamfara at the slightest provocation.

Yoruba you see
Could you Imagine you talking about Igbo's prefering a fulani hausa? During the presidential election is it not fulani- hausa the yoruba's prefered?
Did the yoruba's not betrayed its own by voting for Tambuwal instead of their own daughter Mulikat Adeola.

If the Igbo's decide to play the game the yoruba's played, why are you people now complaining?
So who is a betrayer between the Igbo's and Yoruba's? The Igbos gave a yoruba son in the name of OBJ 100% votes, the yoruba's didn't see that, the Igbo's refuse voting buhari (a fulani) but the Yoruba's voted him, it was not betrayal, the yoruba's refuse voting Mulikat but voted a fulani and it was not a betrayal. Now the Tzar of betrayal is calling somebody a betrayer.

I don't know when Samson Okwu from Oju/Obi Federal Constituency of Benue State became an Igbo man

What a country and what a people?

That was very encouraging from the president elect.
I hope a careful understanding of the reason some people joined bokoharam is evaluated, because i seriously don't believe the hunger factor as a reason, hunger is in every nigerian community. i believe it has to do with religious and political factor. You are not being given the food and money bait to join BH rather factors like force recruitment, religious intolerance/belief/fanatism and politics are probably the main reason of joining BH then comes the reward for loyalty or reward for task being executed succesfully or not which comes in form of money and food, then comes promotion.
The president elect must first sustain the present effort and then improve on it after getting adequate information.
